After having his August 27th HBO debut fight against Mike Mollo canceled, undefeated Heavyweight prospect was quickly re-scheduled for a September 16th date that will be broadcasted on dueling Networks Telefutura and Fox Sports Net from Las Vegas accoring to Dan Rafael of espn.com

The card will take place at the Texas Station casino and will be on the eve on the much anticipated Floyd Mayweather – Victor Ortiz showdown.

“Seth had worked so hard and I needed him to have something,” manager Sharif Salim told ESPN.com. “This is the longest layoff he’s had between fights. I just said to Golden Boy, ‘Hey, get us something so we can stay busy.’”

“Seth was so disappointed that the (Aug. 27) fight was called off,” Salim said. “He was disappointed not just because of the purse factor, but because he had worked so hard. It was going to be his first time on HBO. That was humongous.”

“We’re ready for what I like to call the ‘fading glories,’” he said. “We’re ready for (former contenders) like Michael Grant and Hasim Rahman. But we have to just stay focused. After the fight was called off, we gave him about two days off and then he got right back in the gym.”
