DOVER, Del. — Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announces the next Friday Night Fights series event will take place on May 18 in the Rollins Center arena with two headliner titles on the card. Franklin “Yah Yah” Lawrence, 14(9)-2-2, of Indianapolis, Ind., goes against Mike Mollo, 20(12)-3-1 of Oak Lawn, Ill. for the NABA Heavyweight Title. In his last appearance at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, Lawrence earned the WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation Heavyweight belt in seven rounds of a scheduled 12 against Jason “The Sensation” Gavern 21(10)-9-4.

The under card features local favorite and former USBA junior welterweight Mike “No Joke” Stewart, 48(25)-7-3, of New Castle, Del. Stewart, a world title challenger and HBO Contender star has not lost a fight since 2007.

NABF Female Super Featherweight Title holder, “Queen” Ronica Jeffery (9-0), of Bronx, N.Y. is pitted against Jackie Trivilino, 8(1)-4-2 of Plattsburgh, NY. Also featured are super middleweight “Mighty” Mike Tiberi, lightweight Omar “Super O” Douglas and cruiserweight Anthony “Caputo” Smith. Other bouts will be added to the undercard over the coming weeks.
