Chicago, IL, Wednesday, August 7, 2013–Bobby Hitz has announced expanded line ups for Hitz Boxing’s two upcoming “Fight Night” series cards. On Friday, August 30 at Dimar Ortuz joins the “Night of the Rising Stars” card at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL, which also includes Antonio Canas, Ricardo Chavez, Fidel Navarette, Roy Navarro, Adan Ortiz and Semajay Thomas. Two weeks later Johnny “Wite Boi” Determan will be added to the September 13 installment of “Fight Night at the Horseshoe” at The Venue inside of the Horseshoe Casino in Hammon, IN, which will also feature Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez, Frank “Time Bomb” Scalise, Simon “The Punisher” Buettner, Russell “Rocky” Fiore, Chad McKinny, Genaro Mendez, Rob Menigoz and Nick Ramirez. “Being able to stage two fights in two weeks speaks to the wealth of talent we have in the Hitz Boxing stable,” said Hitz. “These guys are working hard and the fans will be treated to two great nights of boxing.”
As the matchups are being finalized Hitz also announced that Determan of Omaha, NE, who is 7-0 (6 KOs), has agreed to a super flyweight fight against James Smith of Detroit, MI, who is also 7-0 (5 KOs), at the Horseshoe.
“I commend Johnny and James for agreeing to this match-up because both fighters are willing to test themselves against someone with an unblemished record,” said Hitz. “Both of these young boxers know that to be the best you have to beat the best, this is going to be a great fight.”
