The official weigh in for World Series of Fighting 5 “Arlovski vs. Kyle” on NBCSN took place on Friday at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The five-bout televised broadcast will air LIVE on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Main-event heavyweight Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski (19-10) weighed in at 240 pounds even while his opponent Mike “MAK” Kyle (20-9-1) tipped the scales at 218.5 pounds.
Said Arlovski: “I’m excited to face Mike and I’m ready to go. I didn’t watch any of his past fights. My team studied him and I have a game plan that I will execute. The World Series of Fighting 5 has been a great promotion to fight for.”
Said Kyle: “I want to thank Ray Sefo and The World Series of Fighting for everything they’ve done for me. They’re going to make me a star. I have a bright future with this group and it’s just great to be a part of it all.”
The evening’s preliminary card features an additional five bouts, which stream live on World Series of Fighting’s official website, WSOF.com, beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
