Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, will be airing a live broadcast of Cage Warriors 61 from King Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan, this Friday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. ET.

Fight Network’s live afternoon broadcast of Cage Warriors 61 mixed martial arts action is headlined by a bantamweight clash as British standout James Brum will aim for his seventh consecutive Cage Warriors win when he clashes with Russia’s Marat Pekov.

“I’m excited to return to Jordan to fight Marat Pekov, who has a big fanbase out there just like I do. I can’t wait to enter the cage, punch each other in the face and hear the crowd blow the roof off the arena,” said the 26-year-old Brum.

Pekov will be making his second appearance on a Cage Warriors card, having most recently suffered a unanimous decision loss to Ronnie Mann at CWFC Fight Night 9 in October.

“The fight against Mann was very close but it went to the judges and they gave it his way,” said Pekov. “I won’t make the same mistake against Brum. It won’t be left in the hands of the judges this time.”

Following his impressive stoppage of Vladimir Opanasenko last time out, Jack Mason will be aiming to end the year on a high by picking up his fourth CWFC win of 2013 at the expense of French veteran Seydina Seck, who holds notable victories over the likes of ex-CWFC welterweight champion Gael Grimaud and three-time UFC veteran Simeon Thoresen.

In light-heavyweight action, Egyptian fan-favourite Mohamed Ali will also be eager to clinch his third CWFC triumph of the year when he goes up against England’s James Hurrell.

Elsewhere, Vincent del Guerra and Jake Bostwick will clash in a bout to be contested at a catchweight of 176lbs, and Julien Boussuge will take on Damien Brown in a lightweight bout.

Rounding out the card, Norwegian welterweight sensation Mohsen Bahari seeks his third Cage Warriors win opposite Russian banger Mukhamed Berkhamov, while Norway’s Hakon Foss steps in on short notice for a middleweight clash against Matt Inman.

Later on Dec. 13, Fight Network presents a live presentation of Golden Boy Live! from Indio, Calif. at 10 p.m. ET, as welterweight world title contender Josesito “Riverside Rocky” Lopez battles “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis, and in the co-feature bout, the NABF/WBO Intercontinental super featherweight title will be on the line between Mexico’s unbeaten Francisco Vargas and Texas’ tough Jerry Belmontes.

The live coverage continues on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m. ET as Fight Network airs a live broadcast of BAMMA 14 from Birmingham, U.K., headlined by Paul “Semtex” Daley vs. Romario Manoel Da Silva.
