Curtis Stevens
Former world title challenger Curtis Stevens showed no ill effects of his title losing effort to Gennady Golovkin, needed just 46 seconds to obliterate Patrick Majewski at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City.

It was ominous from the first punch for Majewski as he was dropped by a non-descript jab. Clearly hurt, Stevens dropped Majewski for a 2nd time after a barrage of punches that was finished off by a left hook. The fight was finished when another flurry of punches landed that sent Majewski down for a 3rd and final time.

Stevens, 161 1/2 lbs is now 26-4 with 19 knockouts. Najewski, 160 1/2 lbs of Atlantic City is now 21-3.

Hasan Young scored four knockdowns en route to a six round unanimous decision over Justin Johnson in a Welterweight bout.

Young scored two knockdowns in round two, one in round’s five and six and cruised to the victor by scores of 60-50 twice and 60-51.

Young, 141 lbs is 5-1-1. Johnson, 141 1/2 lbs is now 6-6-4.
