Making his second appearance at the Paisley Lagoon this year, Light Middleweight Kris Carslaw knows a win this Saturday will open the door to another shot at the British title, however coach Colin Bellshaw wont be over looking opponent Dan Blackwell .

“We have confirmation that Kris Will be facing Joe Selkirk in the summer for a British title fight, since his last shot at the title Kris has been on the road a few times and picked up a lot of experience so we are confident when the opportunity arises we will come good.
He adds “Saying that, we are not overlooking the task in hand on Saturday and with a good local crowd, Kris is looking to make a statement ,
In the opposite corner on Saturday will be Dan Blackwell, and the Saltire Boxing supremo is aware of Blackwell potential “ Dan Is a come forward fighter who is certainly going to be looking to upset the odds, we picked him as we know he will be looking for a win. This will be a real challenge for Kris, and I know he will relish it.
Saltire Boxing present n Evening of Championship Boxing this Saturday 12 April at the Paisley Lagoon Leisure Centre.
Headlined by Rhys Pagan v Mike Towell for the vacant Scottish Light Middleweight title, and is supported by strong undercard featuring the return of Kris Carslaw as he looks towards a British Title Eliminator in the summer.
Also in action is Ronnie Clark, Brian Peacock while Scottish Welterweight Champion Craig Kelly also returns, and completing the line up is Marek Laskowski.
Standard Tickets are priced at £30, Ringside Reserved are £40 while Inner Ringside £60 and are available from the fighters directly and a limited number available on the door on the evening.
Doors at 6pm, first fight at 7pm.
