“2 Days: Sergio Martinez” Premieres Saturday, May 17 on HBO®

April 30, 2014 – HBO Sports® debuts an all-new installment of “2 Days” when the feature segment returns Saturday, May 17 at 12:30 a.m. (ET/PT) with a behind-the-scenes look at world middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, one of boxing’s elite pound-for-pound fighters. “2 Days: Sergio Martinez” premieres immediately following the HBO World Championship Boxing® telecast from The Forum in Inglewood, CA.

“2 Days” is a revealing and intimate look at a 48-hour span in the life of a boxer in the lead-up to one of his fights and the next edition will focus on Argentine Sergio Martinez. HBO cameras followed the engaging and compelling fighter prior to his memorable hometown showdown with Martin Murray last April in Buenos Aires. The outdoor event attracted more than 40,000 fans.

HBO air times include: May 17 (12:30 a.m.), 18 (4:15 p.m.), 19 (8:00 a.m. & 1:35 a.m.), 23 (5:30 p.m.), 24 (10:45 a.m.), 27 (11:45 p.m.), 29 (4:45 p.m.), 30 (9:45 p.m.), and June 3 (12:45 p.m. & 3:45 a.m.), 5 (1:00 a.m.), 6 (8:00 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.) and 7 (10:30 a.m.).

HBO 2 air times include: May 20 (9:15 p.m.), 21 (1:40 p.m.), 22 (4:00 p.m.), 25 (3:15 p.m.), 26 (3:15 a.m.), 27 (8:45 p.m.), 29 (11:30 p.m.) and 31 (11:45 p.m.).

Martinez is set to return to the ring on Saturday, June 7 in one of the year’s hottest fights when he faces superstar Miguel Cotto at New York’s Madison Square Garden on HBO Pay-Per-View®.
