Amir Mansour
PHILADELPHIA–Amir Mansour won a 10-round unanimous decision in a much anticipated Heavyweight bout at the sold-out 2300 Arena.

The action was spirited early as the two looked to land heavy shots. In round two, the two clashed heads that opened up a nasty gash around the right eye of Mansour. It seemed that Dawejko could capitalize on the cut as became more agressive and was able to land effective blows. That advantage was short lived as another clash of heads opened a cut on the forehead and left eye of Dawejko.

As the fight played out, Mansour came forward and landed some mostly ineffective blows and he also missed alot but that was enough to win the rounds as Dawejko waited and waited and waited some more to counter Mansour. Those opportunities were few and far between as Mansour mixed up his game between boxing and slugging while Dawejko did not attempt to throw many punches in return.

In the last minute of the fight, Mansour landed the best punch of the fight as he landed a hard left and right that had Dawejko holding on.

Mansour, 210 1/2 of Penns Grove, NJ won by scores of 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94 and he is now 22-1. Dawejko, 230 1/2 lbs of Philadelphia drops to 14-4-2.

DeCarlo Perez took an 8-round unanimous decision over Jesse Nicklow in a Middleweight bout.

Nicklow landed two hard rights in round one that Perez holding on. That window was short because Perez started to settle down and use his height to get into a nice boxing Rhythm.

In round eight, Nicklow put his goloves down and let Perez drill him five times flush in the face.

Perez, 159.9 lbs of Atlantic City, NJ won by scores of 79-73 on all cards and is now 14-3-1. Nicklow, 161.3 lbs of Baltimore, MD is now 24-6-3

David Gonzales and Ryan Belasco fought to a 6-round draw in a Jr. Welterweight bout.

Gonzales, 140 lbs of Philadelphia won one card by 58-56 while two cards read even at 57-57. Gonzales is now 5-0-2. Belasco, 141 lbs of Wilmington, DE is now 18-6-4.

Ismael Garcia scored a 1st round stoppage over Tommy Ayres in a scheduled 6-round Super Welterweight bout.

Garcia dropped Ayres with a right hand. Garcia landed a some hard rights on the ropes and the bout was stopped at 2:06.

Garcia, 154 lbs of Vineland, NJ is now 8-0-1 with 4 knockouts. Ayres, 153.5 lbs of Cincinnati, OH is now 2-5.

Kevin Womack scored a 1st round stoppage over Nathaniel Rivas in a scheduled 6-round Welterweight bout.

Womack landed a hard combination on the ropes and pounded the body and face of Rivas until the bout was stopped at 1:24 of round one.

Womack, 149 lbs of Baltimore, MD is now 5-5-2 with 3 knockouts. Rivas, 148 lbs of Berlin, NJ is now 5-2.

Gang Yong Kim scored a 4-round unanimous decision over Edgardo Torres in a Jr. Lightweight bout.

Kim dropped Torres with a left hook in round one.

Kim, 131.3 lbs of Philadelphia, PA won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 4-1. Torres, 131.9 lbs of Vineland, NJ is now 2-4.
