Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, today announced extensive live programming for UFC Fight Night™: Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne this Saturday, June 20 from 02 World in Berlin, Germany, marking the organization’s fourth trip to Germany and the first-ever championship fight televised live on Fight Network.
Fight Network will air the live main card exclusively in Canada from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
In the main event, the UFC women’s strawweight title is on the line when unbeaten Polish champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (9-0) defends against former Invicta Fighting Championships beltholder Jessica Penne (12-3). Meanwhile, Russian-born German kickboxing stylist Dennis Siver (22-10, 1NC) looks to return to the win column against gritty Japanese veteran Tatsuya “The Crusher” Kawajiri (33-8-2) in the featherweight co-feature. Rounding out the main card, Polish-German welterweight Peter Sobotta (14-4-1) battles debuting Englishman Steven “The Steamrolla” Kennedy (22-6), while Germany’s Nick “Sergeant” Hein (11-2, 1NC) looks to keep his momentum rolling against undefeated Polish lightweight Lukasz “Wookiee” Sajewski (13-0).
