Donnie Nietes retained the WBO Light Flyweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Francisco Rodriguez Jr. at Cebu City Waterfront Hotel & Casino, Barangay Lahug in Cebu City, Philippines.
Nietes, 108 lbs of Philippines won by scores of 119-109, 118-110 and 115-113 and is now 36-1-4. Rodriguez Jr., 108 lbs of Mexico is 17-3-1.
Mark Magsayo scored a 5th round stoppage over Rafael Reyes in a scheduled 10-round Featherweight bout.
Magsayo dropped Reyes in round three and the fight was stopped at 2:29 of round five.
Magsayo, 126 lbs is now 11-0 with 9 knockouts. Reyes, 124 lbs is 16-5.
