WBC Female World Super Middleweight Champion Nikki Adler is back in action after a ten month layoff to defend her crown against Szilvia Szabados from Hungary this Friday (July 17th) at MHP Arena in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The unbeaten 28-year-old (13 fights, 13 wins) was originally scheduled to fight on a small club show on July 4th but her fight was canceled in the last minute. For a moment Adler thought that she had spent three months in training camp for nothing but then the Champ got a call from Z!-Promotion offering her a spot on the undercard of the European Heavyweight Championship between Erkan Teper and David Price which will be broadcasted live on Sky.
Her challenger Szilvia Szabados will definitely do her best to take the prestigious green and gold belt back home to Hungary. The 24-year-old has won six of her eight pro-fights and knows how to win on the road. Szabados just recently traveled to Slovakia to score a six-round unanimous decision win over previously unbeaten Eva Kolos on July 1st.
