Danish featherweight sensation Dennis Ceylan (16-0-1, 7 KOs) has signed a three-year contract extension with European powerhouse promoter Team Sauerland, and will be back in action on December 12 on the undercard of Patrick Nielsen and Rudy Markussen’s domestic mega-fight at the Brondby Hallen in Copenhagen.

Since signing professional terms in September 2012, Ceylan has taken the paid ranks by storm, establishing himself as one of Europe’s top boxing prospects.

Following an impressive start to 2015, which has seen the London 2012 Olympian produce a series of show stealing performances including a memorable win over former World Champion Dmitry Kirillov, the Aarhus-boxer has committed his future to Team Sauerland as he sets his sights on European and World honours.

‘’I’m very happy to have signed a contact extension with Team Sauerland and I look forward to seeing what they have in store for me during the next three years,’’ said Ceylan.

‘’It’s no secret that I want to fight for titles and become European and World Champion, and I’m confident they will deliver me the fights to make this happen. I will just keep doing my job, training hard and winning fights, and leave the rest to them. They are the best promoters in Europe, and I couldn’t wish for a better team around me.’’

‘’We’re delighted that Dennis has chosen to sign with us for another three years,’’ said promoter Nisse Sauerland. ‘’We’ve been with him from the very start of his career and we look forward to continuing our journey together. 2016 is going to be a big year for him; we have a lot of exciting plans lined up. We know Dennis can deliver and we expect him to go all the way to the top.’’

Boxing fans will not have to wait long to see Ceylan back in the ring. The 26 year-old is the first Danish name confirmed for the undercard of the domestic mega-fight between Patrick Nielsen and Rudy Markussen on December 12 at the Brondby Hallen.

‘’Of course I’m looking forward to fighting again. I love to fight,’’ said Ceylan. ‘’I hope I can make my fans happy with another good performance. It’s a big night for Patrick and Rudy, the tickets are already almost sold out, so I’m sure there’s going to be a great atmosphere.’’
