BOXING LEGACY IVAN MORALES TO TAKE ON MANUEL JIMENEZ TODAY IN TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 17, 2015) – The youngest of the famed Morales brothers of the “Zona Norte,” Ivan “Niño Maravilla” Morales (28-1, 16 KOs) returns to the region today to face Manuel “Meeny” Jimenez (13-7-1, 7 KOs) of Mexicali, in an eight-round super bantamweight fight at Club Escape in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico at 9:00 p.m. PT.

Brother of International Boxing Hall of Famer and seven-time world champion in four weight classes Erik “El Terrible” Morales, Ivan Morales has boxing in his blood. Already an outstanding prospect and former owner of the WBC International Silver Super Flyweight title, the 24-year-old has defeated titlist Cesar Canchila and world title challenger Luis “Titi” Maldonado. The undefeated fighter last fought and defeated Timur “Here Comes Trouble” Shailezov via unanimous decision in December. Morales was last seen in the ring against Danny Flores and Edgar Jimenez. Morales will be looking to impress all the fans and add another victory to his record in his last fight of 2015.
