Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, presents a pair of world-class live mixed martial arts events this weekend, beginning on Friday, March 4 at 10 p.m. ET, as RFA 36: Barcelos vs. Vannata emanates from Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Then, on Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m. ET, Europe’s preeminent organization returns when KSW 34: New Order invades Hala Torwar in Warsaw, Poland.
RFA 36: Barcelos vs. Vannata will air live exclusively on Fight Network in Canada and globally in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Meanwhile, KSW 34: New Order will be televised live on Fight Network in all territories, including the U.S.
Headlining RFA 36, featherweight champion Raoni Barcelos (9-1) will make the first defense of his title against undefeated prospect Landon Vannata (7-0). In other featured action, Melvin Blumer (12-3) meets Matt Murphy (5-5) in another high-octane featherweight bout, world-ranked flyweight Chico “The King” Camus (14-7, 1NC) joins RFA fresh off an eight-fight UFC stint and he faces three-time promotional vet Matt Brown (10-5), plus Reese Hernandez (14-3-2) takes on Kassius Holdorf (6-1) in welterweight action, Dan Moret (9-2) tangles with Josh Wick (5-1) in a featherweight tilt, plus Logan Storley (2-0) crosses paths with Lemetra Griffin (1-4) in a welterweight contest.
In the KSW 34: New Order main event, the heavyweight championship is up for grabs when beltholder Karol Bedorf (13-2) clashes with British veteran James McSweeney (15-13). In additional title bouts, Tomasz Narkun (11-2) meets Cassio de Oliveira (17-6-1) for the light heavyweight strap, while Artur Sowinski (16-7) and Fabiano Silva (26-6-1) vie for the promotion’s featherweight crown. In other action, Aslambek Saidov (17-4) takes on Yasubey Enomoto (14-6) at 170 pounds, Krzysztof Kulak (26-14-2) meets Maciej Jewtuszko (11-3) in an all-Polish welterweight showdown, plus Antoni Chmielewski (31-14) welcomes Bulgarian Svetoslav Savov (15-5) into enemy territory for their middleweight battle.
