MIKE “HOLLYWOOD” JIMENEZ SWEATS THROUGH CHICAGO HEAT HEADING TO TITLE FIGHT AT THE ROSEMONT RUMBLE

Chicago, IL (June 22, 2017) Chicago fan favorite MIKE “HOLLYWOOD” JIMENEZ, (20-1-1, 14 KO’s) is sweating through a Windy City heatwave in preparation for his highly anticipated 10-round super middleweight rematch with “Son of the Legend’, AARON PRYOR JR., (19-10-2), of Cincinnati, Ohio, tomorrow night Friday, June 23 at “The Dome at the Ballpark” in Rosemont, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. The victor will be awarded the vacant WBC Continental Americas Super Middleweight Title.

Jimenez is training under the watchful eyes of co-trainers Sam Colonna and Rita Figueroa.

Speaking following a recent sweat filled workout, Jimenez spoke about the upcoming rematch with Pryor;

“Yes, I definitely wanted the rematch right away, not sure that he wanted it however. I’m very psyched for this fight.”

“I need to jump on what I can capitalize on right from the opening bell. Sam and Rita have seen a couple holes in Pryor’s game that I can capitalize on. It will be very important for me to get inside his length advantage.”

“I’ve been trying to spar with taller fighters, Sam has done a good job of bringing in the right sparring partners for this fight.”

“Winning the title will open more doors for and push me up in the rankings. Settling the score is definitely something I want to do, I know I beat him the last time.”

“The fight is a true homecoming for me, I grew up in Des Plaines and played football at Maine West, graduated from there in 2005. I’ll be repping the Maine West colors of white, blue and gold.”

“I’m dedicating this fight to my grandmother who is in the clear from a recent cancer scare.”
