In a battle of top-10 featherweights, Calvin Kattar won a unanimous decision over Dan Ige at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi,
In round two, Kattar began to bleed from the nose which was courtesy of some solid punching from Ige. In round three, Kattar was bleeding over his right eye. In round five, Ige’s right eye was badly swelling.
Kattar out-struck Ige 102-56.
Kattar, 146 lbs of Methune, MA won by scores of 49-46 twice and 48-47 and is now 22-4. Ige, 145 lbs of Halewi, HI us 14-3.
Tim Elliott won a unanimous decision over Ryan Benoit in a flyweight bout.
Elliott outstruck Benoit 96-61.

Jimmie Rivera won a unanimous decision over Cody Stamann in a featherweight bout.
Rivera outstruck Stamann 90-38 and won by scores of 30-27 twice and 29-28.

Taila Santos won a decision over Molly McCann in a flyweight bout
In round one, Santos was bleeding around the right eye. That did not deter her as she was able to control the fight with some solid knees and multiple takedowns where she controlled most of the fight.

In an action packed brawl, Mounir Lazzez won a unanimous decision over Abdul Razak Alhassan in welterweight bout.
Early in round one, Alhassan was all over Lazzez as he landed countless punches. Lazzez came back later in the round by landing heavy strikes with both punches and kicks. The two stood toe-to-toe and landed huge punches in the 2nd frame.
Lazzez outstruck Alhassan 114-70 and had four takedowns to Alhassan’s one.
Lazzez, 171 lbs of Dubai, UAW won by scores of 30-27 twice and 29-28 and is now 10-1. Alhassan, 174 lbs of Accra, GHA is 10-2.
Khamzat Chimaev choked out John Phillips in the 2nd round of their middleweight fight.
Phillips began to bleed from his forehead in the 1st minute from absorbing punches. Chimaev began round two with a takedown and eventually was able to choke out Phillips at 1:12.
Chimaev, 186 lbs of Stockholm, SWE is 7-0. Phillips, 186 lbs of Swansea, WAL is 22-10-1.
Lerone Murphy stopped Ricardo Ramos in the 1st round of their featherweight bout.
Murphy landed a hard right hand that was followed by a takedown of Ramos, and a follow up barrage of punches forced the stoppage at 4:18.
Murphy, 146 lbs of Manchester, UK is 9-0-1. Ramos, 145 lbs of Sao Paulo, BRA is 14-3.
Modestas Bukauskas stopped Andreas Michailidis after round one of their light heavyweight bout.
Bukauskas landed several hammer fists at the end of the opening round. When Michailidis tried to get to his feet, he was wobbly and the bout was stopped.
