June 17, 2023 – Undefeated hometown favorite Tim Tszyu (22-0, 16 KOs) and veteran contender Carlos Ocampo (34-2, 22 KOs) both made weight yesterday ahead of their highly anticipated matchup on SHOWTIME BOXING INTERNATIONAL tonight, live on SHOWTIME at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT for Tszyu’s WBO Junior Middleweight Interim Title from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia in a Premier Boxing Champions event. The Weigh-in yesterday took place at the picturesque Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach, next door to the venue.
The fighters in the co-main event, Sam Goodman (14-0, 7 KOs) of Australia and Las Vegan Ra’eese Aleem (20-0, 12 KOs) also safely made weight for their 12-round IBF 122-pound title eliminator.
