UNCASVILLE, CT – The Earth Ballroom at Mohegan Sun will be the site of this year’s Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame Gala on Saturday, November 2nd. The 2pm event honors this year’s class, including Providence Rhode Island’s Gary “Tiger” Balletto Sr., famed judge Frank Lombardi, and Michael Mazzulli, Director of the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation, among others. Tickets to the 18th Annual Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame Gala are on-sale through Eventbrite, and includes live entertainment, delicious food and drink options. Boxing enthusiasts can also book an overnight stay at Mohegan Sun’s iconic Sky Tower through a group rate, available HERE. After the gala, Mohegan Sun Arena heats up as CES Boxing hosts the biggest New England fight card of the year, ‘CES Autumn Classic’. The 13-bout card includes many of the best contenders, prospects, and future world champions from New England and around the world. The stacked card is headlined by WBC US Silver Lightweight Champion and New London resident Alejandro “El Abusador” Paulino (18-0, 14 KOs) squaring off against Rhode Island’s Toka Kahn (29-3, 19 KOs). The co-feature includes a Massachusetts turf war between Brockton’s “King” Kevin Walsh (14-0, 7 KOs) and Worcester’s Irvin Gonzalez (16-4, 12 KOs) for Walsh’s New England Super Featherweight title.
