Michael Conlan will make his highly-anticipated return to the ring, on March 7 in Brighton.

Conlan, who announced his long-term promotional deal with Wasserman Boxing yesterday, leads the undercard to Right Here, Right Nowwhich is headlined by Harlem Eubank’s showdown with Tyrone McKennalive and free on Channel 5.

The Irish hero has been out of the ring for over a year but returns to action against Asad Asif Khan, the tough Indian who has shared the ring with former world featherweight champion Can Xu.

Also confirmed for the undercard of the Eubank vs. McKenna clash, delivered in association with Ladbrokes and Infinitum, is one of British boxing’s hottest talents, Dan Toward, who faces Muzamiru Kakande, while another of the country’s most electric young fighters, Tom Welland faces Ally B Lubanja.

Heavyweight hope Matty Harris is back in action at the Brighton Centre, as is another Wasserman prospect Codie Smith.

Local favourites Tommy Welch and Harvey Dykes are also locked in for the March 7 show, as well as Ben Andrews, in a fight with Navid Iran, and JP O’Meara.
