ORLANDO, FL (April 14, 2025) – Undefeated lightweight, Kevin “Alpha” Brown (6-0, 3 KOs), is putting the final touches on his intense Las Vegas training camp under the guidance of world-renowned coach Ismael Salas, as he prepares for his upcoming battle against Esteuri Suero (14-2, 10 KOs) on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. The bout will headline a stacked card promoted by Boxlab Promotions and broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.
“This has been one of the toughest and most focused camps of my career,” said Brown, the current WBA Super Lightweight Continental Americas Champion. “Working with Coach Salas in Vegas has made me a better fighter and its showing every time I step in the ring. Salas is all about working on fundamentals, building power, and tightening up my timing. I feel sharper, faster, and stronger than ever.”
Brown faces a stern test in Suero, a battle-tested puncher with knockout power and a hunger to rise in the rankings.
“I’m expecting Suero to come in hungry and dangerous,” Brown added. “That’s exactly what I want. I don’t look for easy fights—I want the challenges that bring out the best in me. Come fight night, I’ll be ready for anything he brings.”
A win over Suero would mark another major step toward world title contention for the Cuban-born Brown, who has quickly become one of the most talked-about prospects in the division.
“This is a big step forward for me,” Brown said. “It keeps my momentum rolling and gets me closer to getting a world title opportunity. I’m not just here to participate—I’m here to dominate.”
As for headlining his second straight main event on DAZN, Brown sees it as fuel for his fire.
“Headlining on DAZN again is an honor. It motivates me to put on a show not just for the people in Orlando, but for fans around the world watching. I’m here to show them that ‘Alpha’ is the future of this division.”
“Kevin Brown is one of the most disciplined, hungry, and talented fighters we have in our stable of young talented fighters,” said Boxlab Promotions’ President Amaury Piedra. “His work ethic is unmatched, and with a coach like Ismael Salas in his corner, the sky is the limit. We believe he’s well on his way to becoming a world champion—and April 18 is the next step in that journey.”
