New York, NY (January 30, 2026) RING and WBO Female Super Flyweight World Champion Mizuki Hiruta of Okayama, Japan was named the RING 2025 Female Fighter of the Year at the
awards ceremony Friday night in New York City.
Hiruta, (10-0, 2 KOs), traveled to Southern California and was victorious in four world title fights in 2025, winning the WBO title and making three dominant defenses against top competition. No other female fighter had as many world title fights in 2025.
Hiruta won a remarkable 109 rounds out of a possible 114 scored (three judges) in 2025 within the four world title fights which included three 10-round decisions and one eighth round stoppage.
“I’m very proud to accept this honor from RING,” said an elated Hiruta. “I’m also very grateful to my team for providing me and preparing me for such an active schedule last year; Tom Loeffler of 360 Promotions and my trainer Manny Robles. I look forward to another big year in 2026.” Manny Robles was also nominated for 2025 Trainer of the Year by RING.
