A confident Pat Brown faced the scales and his opponent Vasil Ducar for the final time this week ahead of their Cruiserweight battle in Altrincham tomorrow night.

Manchester’s own Brown takes a big step-up against experienced Cruiserweight Ducar on Good Friday at Planet Ice, live worldwide on the Global Home of Boxing, DAZN. A stacked card sees William Crolla aim to maintain his win-streak against last minute replacement Lewis Morris. Josh Blenkiron and Robbie Colman rematch for the Northern Area Lightweight Title and Alfie Middlemiss makes his debut as a Matchroom fighter.

On Before the Bell, twins Ioan and Garan Croft both plan to make statements in their first fights under the Matchroom banner and Heavyweight Jordan Thompson looks to impress in front of a home crowd.

Olympian Brown soaked up the atmosphere at today’s Weigh-In at Freight Island as he made the Cruiserweight limit for the first time as a professional: “I feel great. I’m ready to go. I’m ready to fight, get in his face and have it.”

“I’ll be sensible. I’m always controlled. I take a few but I’m always ready to go in for the kill. I’ll always go out on my shield but I’m also looking to show people I can box.”

“People are working today, so thank you all for coming. I’ll put on a show and make it all worth it tomorrow night.”
