In round three, Ennis was rocked (for the first time in his career) when Zayas landed a hard jab that was followed by a left that scraped across the chin. In round five, Ennis landed a perfect counter right uppercut to the chin that put Zayas on the canvas. Zayas was lucky to make it out of the round as Ennis applied beating.
In round seven, Ennis finished off Zayas when he landed another left hand on the inside and put Zayas on the canvas and the fight was stopped at 1:49.
