EARLY RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS

Andres Teran stopped previously undefeated Floyd Diaz in round six of their 10-round bantamweight bout.

In round six, Teran landed a straight right to the jaw that hurt Diaz. Teran followed up with a right and left that wobbled Diaz into the ropes and the fight was stopped at 1:29.

Teran, 117 lbs of Mexico City is 19-2 with 14 knockouts. Diaz, 117.5 lbs of Las Vegas is 15-1.

Tony Hirsch Jr. scored a spectacular third-round stoppage over Jaybrio Pe Benito in a eight-round junior welterweight bout.

In round three, Hirsch landed three flush rights to the head with the third being a crushing right that sent Pe Benito to canvas and the fight was stopped at 2:12.

Hirsch, 135 lbs of Oakland is 9-0-2 with five knockouts. Pe Benito, 139 lbs of Honolulu, HA is 7-1.

Damani Cato-Cain won a eight-round unanimous decision over Vernon Brown in a welterweight bout.

Cato-Cain, 146 lbs of Oakland won by scores of 79-73 and 78-74 twice and is now 10-1-2. Brown, 146.5 lbs of Chicago is 14-3-1.

In a rematch of a draw, Adrian Serrano won a six-round unanimous decision over Brady Ochoa in a lightweight bout.

Serrano outlanded Ochoa 196-128.

Serrano, 134.5 lbs of Salinas, CA won by scores of 59-55 twice and 58-56 and is now 7-0-2. Ochoa, 133.5 lbs of Las Vegas is 9-1-1.

Jakhongir Zokirov stopped Zach Spiller in round two of their six-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Zokirov landed a chopping left that put Spiller on the canvas. In round two, Zokirov landed10 vicious blows to head that forced a referee stoppage at 2:02.

Zokirov, 253 lbs of Jakik, UZB is 2-0 with two knockouts. Spiller, 256 lbs of Houston ix 5-1.
