Abdullah Mason came from behind to stop Albert Bell to retain his WBO Lightweight title at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bell boxed and moved and took most of the first half of the fight.
In round 12, Mason dropped Bell in the opening seconds with a left to the head. Moments later, Mason landed another combination that put Bell down again and referee Mark Nelson stopped the bout at 1:47.
Mason, 135 lbs of Cleveland is 21-0 with 18 knockouts. Bell, 134.9 lbs of Toledo, OH is 28-1.
Carrington Decisions Palacios; Retains Featherweight Title
Bruce Carrington retained the WBC Featherweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Rene Palacios.
Carrington, 124.9 lbs of Brooklyn won by score of 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112 and is now 18-0. Palacios, 125.7 lbs of Mexico is 19-1-1.
Tiger Johnson Decisions Guerrero
Tiger Johnson remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Christopher Guerrero in a battle of undefeated welterweights.
Johnson, 147 lbs of Cleveland won by scores of 100-92 and 99-91 twice and is now 18-0. Guerrero, 146.6 lbs of Montreal is 16-1.
Deric Davis Gets Close Decision over Ramos
Deric Davis won an eight-round unanimous decision over Carlos Ramos in a lightweight bout.
In round six, Ramos was cut over his right eye.
Davis, 134.3 lbs of Washington DC won by scores of 78-74 twice and 77-75 and is now 12-0. Ramos, 134.8 lbs of Madrid, SPA is 18-5-1.
Ibrahim Mason stopped Erik Hanley in round two of their four-round super featherweight bout.
In round two, Mason dropped Hanley with a hard left hook. Seconds later, a vicious left hook to the body put Hanley down again, Mason sent Handley down again in the with a flurry that cleaned up by another left hook. Mason then landed a big flurry and the fight was stopped.
Mason, 130.3 lbs of Cleveland is 3-0 with three knockouts. Hanley.129.4 lbs of Long Island is 1-3.

In round three, Huzar began to bleed from around his left eye.
