SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – July 16, 2026 – Former unified world champion and pound-for-pound great Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. has landed in Australia as he looks for a road win against Australian superstar Tim Tszyu in their pivotal showdown that headlined a PBC Pay-Per-View event available live on Prime Video and DAZN Saturday, July 25 (U.S. date and time) from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia.
The Dallas-native Spence, alongside his renowned trainer Ronnie Shields, were met at Sydney Airport Thursday morning Australian time with a ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremony arranged by No Limit Boxing’s Rose Brothers – proud Indigenous Australians and the longtime promotional force behind Tszyu.
“It was dope, man — getting welcomed by the Aborigines as soon as I came out after a long flight,” said Spence after the 15-hour flight from Los Angeles. “I’m happy about it. It woke me up a little bit.
“I’m going to enjoy it a lot down here. It’ll be a dope event. Hopefully when I come out, not everyone will boo me and I’ll put on a great show…I’m the big fish. I’m going to take over his backyard.”

Spence vs. Tszyu will see former unified three-belt world champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. make his much-anticipated return to the ring in a high-stakes showdown against Australian superstar and former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu on Saturday, July 25 headlining a PBC Pay-Per-View event available on Prime Video and DAZN LIVE in U.S. primetime from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia.
The action will also feature the undefeated two-division world champion Jermall Charlo stepping in to face Australia’s Koen Mazoudier in a 10-round super middleweight battle, while former 122 and 126-pound world champion Stephen Fulton Jr. will face Australian former title challenger Liam Wilson in a 10-round super featherweight attraction.
