New York, NY – July 03, 2026 – Former unified three-belt world champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) will make his much-anticipated return to the ring in a high-stakes super welterweight showdown against Australian superstar and former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) on Saturday, July 25, from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia. The pay-per-view fight will be available for purchase through DAZN on Prime, regardless of Prime membership. The event will also be available through traditional cable and satellite providers.
Spence has made a name for himself thanks in large part to a legendary run through the welterweight division and returns to action for the first time after nearly a three-year layoff as he’ll take on the former WBO 154-pound champion Tszyu. The latter has never lost on his home soil and will aim to put himself back in world title contention with a career-best victory.
The event is promoted by No Limit Boxing, The Rose Brothers, Man Down Promotions, and TGB Promotions.
The Spence vs. Tszyu undercard also features several loaded matchups across the board, including a return to the ring for two-division world champions such as Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs)and Stephen Fulton Jr. (23-2, 8 KOs) take their talents down under. The undefeated Charlo will step in to face Australia’s Koen Mazoudier (15-4-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight battle, while former 122 and 126-pound world champion Fulton Jr. will face Australian former title challenger Liam Wilson (18-3, 10 KOs)in a 10-round super featherweight attraction. The pay-per-view will kick off with undefeated rising Australian Olympian Callum Peters (7-0, 6 KOs) entering the ring for 10 rounds of middleweight action against Argentinian southpaw Ivan Ricardo Actis (13-0, 9 KOs).
“Make no mistake, this is the greatest fight card ever assembled in Australian boxing history,” said No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose. “Errol Spence Jr. and Jermall Charlo on the same card, in the same city, on the same day — that’s a Las Vegas headliner every single day of the week, and we’ve locked it in for Sydney. This is Australia versus the USA, four times over, and every single one of those fights is legacy-defining. We’ve built No Limit Boxing by delivering the best events on the biggest stages, and on July 26, we deliver the biggest stage this country has ever seen. The world is sending its biggest names to Tim Tszyu’s backyard, to Koen Mazoudier’s backyard, to Callum Peters’ backyard — and they’re about to find out exactly what that means.”
“It’s an honor to headline the greatest fight card ever assembled in Australia,” said Tszyu. “It’s an enormous privilege for me because I know how rare this is for fight fans to have a card of this magnitude on home soil. Every time I step into that ring, I’m not just fighting for myself — I’m fighting for Australia and for everyone who’s ever believed in me. Errol Spence Jr. is a legend of this sport, one of the greatest to ever do it, but on July 26, I get to take him out once and for all. Moments like this are history-making. They are rare; you don’t want to miss it.”
Ahead of the fight, the fighters and their teams held a press conference in Las Vegas:
ERROL SPENCE JR.
“Tszyu has been dismissive of me. He’s saying his little things about how he’s gonna retire me. At the end of the day, it’s a war. He’s coming to retire me and take my name. I’m coming to conquer his country. I’ll shake his hand after the fight, but right now it’s game time.”
“There’s a first time for everything. I’m definitely looking forward to beating him in Australia and disappointing all those people.”
“I feel mentally sharper right now. This layoff gave me time to reflect a lot and recover. I’ve been boxing for a long time at the top level, ever since the amateurs. I needed this break. Even after my car accident, I never took a break. After the eye injury they told me I couldn’t work out, but I was still walking eight to 10 miles a day trying to keep my weight down. I enjoyed this layoff, because it gave me a lot of clarity. I feel rejuvenated.”
“There’s no knock on Tszyu for losing to Sebastian Fundora. Fundora would be a hard opponent for anybody. He’s so tall and now he’s using his distance and his range. Tszyu put up a hard fight and never gave up.”
TIM TSZYU
“The question is, what does Errol Spence Jr. have in the tank after three years off? Our plan is to bring the heat and reintroduce him to the game right away.”
“I wouldn’t take this fight if I thought I was gonna lose. If I had a glimpse of that thought, I wouldn’t be here. I’m taking this fight because I’m gonna win.”
“I understand facing a volume punching southpaw from facing Fundora. I think Spence will be easier to hit. We’ll have a new game plan this time around and be ready for everything.”
“I’m gonna bring it from round one. He’s the one who’s had three years off. I’m not rusty. My wheels are gonna be in motion. I’ll be ready to jump on him.”
“My family is 55-0 in Australia, so I think it’s a big advantage. Numbers don’t lie and we’re gonna keep it going. It’s a massive fight in Australia and worldwide.”
