DETROIT (Aug. 27, 2026) – World-ranked heavyweight contender Brandon Moore and former world title challenger Bryant Jennings squared off Thursday at Shenandoah Country Club in advance of this Saturday’s heavyweight showdown live on Wynn Records Network from Fox Theatre in Detroit.  Comerica Bank is the exclusive presenting partner of the Fox Theatre.

In separate co-main events, undefeated rising prospects and former amateur standouts  JuJu Ballo and Jonny Mansour will make their Detroit debuts and celebrate the city’s large Chaldean and Middle Eastern communities as part of a stacked card. Ballo will face Julian Gomez-Clemons in a six-round super featherweight bout, while Mansour will take on Ernest Bustos in an eight-round lightweight matchup.

The evening will also feature prospects Sardius Simmons, Husam Al Mashhadi, Jasmine Hampton, Richard Fernandez Jr., Lance Smith and Sai Maldonado in competitive undercard matchups on Wynn Records Network live at 7 p.m. REGISTER: https://wynnrecordsnetwork.com/

The event is promoted by Salita Promotions and Ballo and Mansour’s G2G Promotions in association with Wynn Records.  Tickets for Aug. 29 are on sale now at 313Presents.com and Ticketmaster.com

Here’s what the fighters had to say at Thursday’s press conference:

Brandon Moore:

“Look, Bryant caught me at a vulnerable time over in Dubai (when training together with Anthony Joshua), so I was being friendly. But the second I found out we were fighting? All that friendly stuff went out the window. This is real smoke. This is serious business, and I hope he brings his absolute best because I’m coming in there to hurt him on Saturday. I’m not playing.”

Bryant Jennings:

“You got to look me in the eye and say that, bro.  Say it with your chest.  I’m done talking.  I’m letting my hands speak for me on Saturday.  Shut up and put up.”

Jonny Mansour:

“First, I want to thank everybody here and all of our sponsors—without the support of this entire Detroit community, none of this would be possible. This is our first time fighting in Detroit and doing it at the iconic Fox Theater is a dream come true. We’ve fought out of San Diego, but it’s time to bring that energy here. I’m truly blessed and excited to fight in front of this city. Thank you all for the love.”

JuJu Ballo:

“I’m beyond excited for this Saturday. It’s been a hell of a training camp—six strong, relentless weeks of putting in the work. I want to thank my manager J Prince, Top Rank, and of course Dmitriy for putting this incredible show together. Come Saturday night, the lights are on and it’s official: it’s the JuJu Show.”

Dmitriy Salita, President of Salita Promotions

“This isn’t just a main event—it’s a collision course. You have Bryant Jennings, a proven legend who fought top guys like Wladimir Klitschko, coming back looking visually indistinguishable from his prime. On the other side is Brandon Moore—hungry, mature, and coming off three consecutive wins against undefeated fighters.

They’re ranked No. 14 and 15 in the world, sitting right on the edge of the top tier. Neither man can afford a loss, and both know the winner takes a massive leap toward a world title shot. You have raw experience meeting prime ambition. Two elite American heavyweights putting everything on the line because the stakes demand it. On August 29th at the Fox Theatre, someone’s world title dream moves forward, and someone’s gets shut down. It has all the ingredients to be the fight of the year.”

“This event is about the American Dream. Just as Jennings and Moore represent the American Dream, Jonny Mansour and JuJu Ballo also represent that. They are first generation sons of Chaldean immigrants who are fulfilling their own American Dream. They were both standout amateur stars and now they’re undefeated professionals making their Detroit debut in front of thousands of fans.

“We’re committed to making Detroit a hub for marquee boxing events and we’re proud to put on a show that features both national and local talent for fans here in Detroit and watching across the country on Wynn Records Network.”
