Foster Decisions Navarrete to become Three-Belt unified Champion

O’Shaquie Foster became the IBF/WBC/WBO 130-pound champion with an emphatic 12-round unanimous decision over Emanuel Navarrete at he Frost Bank Arena in San Antonio, Texas.

Foster boxed very well throughout as dictated the pace boxing and moving, never letting Navarrete get into any type of rhythm.

In round 12, Foster dropped Navarrete with a little short right on the inside. Foster sent Navarrete down as again when both were throwing right hands and Foster’s landed right on the chin that put Navarrete down again.

Foster, 129.8 lbs of Orange. TX won by scores of 115-111, 118-108 on two cards and is now 26-3. Navarrete, 130 lbs of Mexico is 40-3.

Albert Gonzalez stopped former world title challenger Edward Vazquez in round two of their 10-round featherweight bout.

In round two, Gonzalez landed a right hand to the head the hurt Vazquez. Vazquez jumped on Vazquez with a flurry of punches and landed a left to the body that put Vazquez down for the count at

Frank Martin stopped Tarik Zaina in round seven of their 10-round junior welterweight bout.

In round seven, Martin dropped Zaina with a right hook. Martin jumped on Zaina and the referee stopped the bout at 2:38.

Davis Decisions Zaccio

Derric Davis remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Jaquin Zaccio in a lightweight bout.

Davis of Washington, DC won by scores of 80-72 on all cards and is now 13-0. Zaccio of Uruguay is 10-2.
