ALBUQUERQUE (Nov. 3, 2026) – One of Canada’s most decorated amateur prospects Parminder Pannu has signed a long-term contract with Salita Promotions and Wynn Records. The 20-year-old super middleweight will make his professional debut this Saturday, Nov. 7 live on Wynn Records Network (4:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. MT) just two weeks after winning the Gold Medal at the 2026 Pan American Games in Mexico.
Pannu, of Brampton, Ontario outside of Toronto, compiled a 54-1 record as an amateur and was a standout member of Team Canada. The southpaw was a four-time international gold medalist, including capturing first at both the recent 2026 PanAm Games and the 2023 Continental Youth Games. The 6-foot Pannu was also a three-time Canadian National Champion, in addition to a three-time provincial champion and a three-time National Brampton Cup Champion.
Pannu represents the Punjabi people, a community that totals more than 1.25 million in North America and roughly 150 million worldwide. The Canadian native aims to become the first boxing world champion of Punjabi descent and turns professional this Saturday with the goal of staying active and making an instant statement as a super middleweight.
“I’m incredibly grateful and excited to be taking this next step in my boxing career,” Pannu said. “I’ve dedicated myself to this sport every single day since I was 14 years old, and finishing my amateur career as a Pan American Champion, three-time National Champion, and ranked among the top five in the world is something I’ll always be proud of. But I truly believe this is just the beginning.
“I’m entering the professional ranks with the same hunger, discipline, and dedication that brought me this far. I know there’s still so much to learn and accomplish, but I’m ready to put in the work, prove myself, and make a statement. I’m excited for what the future holds.
“I want to sincerely thank Salita Promotions for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. From the very beginning, they’ve welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the team, and that means a lot to me. I’m grateful for the confidence they’ve shown in my abilities, and I’m looking forward to representing them.”
Pannu is the latest signing by Salita Promotions and Wynn Records as the entities rapidly expand their footprint in America’s boxing landscape. Recent signings include Atif Oberlton, Ernesto “Tito” Mercado, Troy Isley, world champion Pedro Taduran, Henry Lebron as well as nearly a dozen top Puerto Rican prospects.
“Parminder Pannu’s amateur accomplishments are incredible, especially at such a young age,” said Dmitriy Salita, President of Salita Promotions. “He’s a standout on the national and international stage, coming off a gold medal at the prestigious Pan American Games just a few weeks ago. I believe he has the potential to become the biggest combat sports star of Indian descent, and his success can bring a huge new audience to boxing. I’m excited to see him make his professional debut live on the Wynn Records Network on November 7.”
In Saturday’s main event on Wynn Records Network, the Philippines’ only current world champion Pedro “The General” Taduran will defend his IBF Mini Flyweight World Championship against undefeated contender and mandatory challenger Brandon Moreno.
The event streams live worldwide beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. MT at https://watch.wynnrecordsnetwork.com/. It will precede a four-fight DAZN Big Time Boxing broadcast that is headlined by hometown favorite Abraham Perez’s first defense of his WBA Interim Flyweight World Title against Yankiel Rivera at Albuquerque’s Kiva Auditorium live exclusively on DAZN beginning at 8 p.m. ET/6 p.m. MT.
Taduran vs. Moreno is the first men’s world title fight on Wynn Records Network, the recently launched platform developed to expand boxing’s reach to new audiences while developing the next generation of stars.
Fans can watch the fights on https://watch.wynnrecordsnetwork.com/, as well across connected TV and mobile devices, including Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, iOS, and Android.
Tickets for the Nov. 7 event, which is promoted by Salita Promotions and Legacy Boxing Promotions in association with Wynn Records, are available on Ticketmaster.com.
