Joining the main card of Most Valuable Prospects 12 will be WBO Youth World Champion and 18x national amateur champion Kaipo Gallegos (8-0-1, 6 KOs). Gallegos, coming to the ring from Las Vegas, Nevada, has quickly risen through the ranks after making his pro debut in April 2023. Promoted by Shuan Boxing and Boxlab Promotions, Gallegos showcased his power and skill with a dominant TKO victory over Armando Frausto during Most Valuable Prospects 7, which he followed with his most recent back-to-back wins over Iron Alvarez and Venezuela’s Leonardo Padilla. Now returning to the Most Valuable Prospects series for the second time, he looks to extend his undefeated streak against 23-year-old Pedro Castaneda (8-0-1, 5 KOs) over 8 rounds in the super featherweight division. Hailing from Juárez, Mexico, Castaneda has built a reputation as a relentless pressure fighter with knockout power. Castaneda has overwhelmed opponents with his aggressive style, most recently securing a unanimous decision victory over Samael Macias.
Opening the main card will be MVP’s new signee, 23-year-old Nat “No Love” Dove (5-0, 1 KO), who will face El Paso, Texas native Nayeli Rodriguez (3-0) in a 6 round bantamweight bout contested at 118 lbs, fought under equal rules to men with three-minute rounds. Following her outstanding amateur career as a 15x US amateur national champion, Dove has quickly emerged as one of women’s boxing’s most promising up-and-coming talents. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native first made waves on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects developmental series, securing unanimous decision wins at Most Valuable Prospects 6 in April 2024 over Alyssia Lopez and at Most Valuable Prospects 8 in early September 2024 against Wendy Villegas. Most recently, Dove took a unanimous decision win over Laddy Mejia in September 2024 and made her first knockout against Michel Novas in March 2025, continuing to develop her undefeated record. As a training partner to MVP’s own Javon “Wanna” Walton, Dove has dominated every opponent to date from the opening bell. She is managed by DJ Walton and trains out of Atlanta, Georgia. With three professional fights to her name, Dove’s opponent, 23-year-old Nayeli Rodriguez, will look to test Dove’s early success in the ring. Rodriguez made her pro debut in August 2024 in Chihuahua, Mexico, and now will compete in her first pro bout in the United States on Friday, May 9.
Headlining the preliminary card of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 12 will be Ariel “Golden Hulk” Perez (6-0, 4 KOs). Perez made his series debut on Most Valuable Prospects 6 in April 2024, delivering a crowd-raising performance with a fourth round knockout of Steven Motley. The Tampa, Florida native returned to face Dane Guerrero on the preliminary card of MVP’s Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry at Amalie Arena in July 2024, securing another big win by third-round knockout. The 33-year-old light heavyweight now returns to face Mario Bedolla (4-3, 3 KOs) in a 6-round bout contested at 175lbs on Friday, May 9. The 26-year-old Bedolla comes to the ring from Zamora, Michocan, Mexico, looking to continue his winning momentum, fresh off his latest first-round KO finish in February 2025.
Also joining the preliminary card will be MVP’s new signee, Alexander “The Alley Cat” Gueche (7-0, 5 KOs) who will compete in a 6-round bantamweight bout contested at 118lbs. The undefeated 19-year-old from Long Beach, California has quickly proven himself to be a rising powerhouse in the sport. Gueche began boxing at age six and went on to a stellar amateur career that saw him win two amateur national titles and earn the #1 ranking in the 112-pound youth male division. Gueche’s rise has been unstoppable since his pro debut in August 2023, which he won by KO in the first 33 seconds of the bout. In his first years as a pro, Gueche has continued to establish himself as a rising contender, securing standout wins by technical knockout against Clayton Ward at MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 4 in December 2023 and Osmar Rodriguez Gamez at Most Valuable Prospects 5 in February 2024. Most recently, Gueche earned a first-round knockout of Jonathan Almacen in June 2024 and maintained his perfect record yet again with an impressive unanimous decision victories over David Vargas Zamora in August 2024 and Lito Dante in January 2025. With his ability to combine pinpoint precision and knockout power, Gueche has solidified his place as one of boxing’s most exciting young talents.
Rounding out the preliminary card will be Carolina, Puerto Rico’s 19-year-old Elise Soto (7-0, 7 KOs), who will defend her perfect record vs. Pittsburgh’s Colleen Davis (4-2-1, 1 KO) in a 6-round bout at 130lbs in the super featherweight division. They will be joined by standout 21-year-old Quincy Williams (4-0, 4 KOs), a former standout amateur talent who comes to the ring from Washington, DC for a 4-round bout at 147lbs in the welterweight division, and a pro debut from Downey, California’s 18-year-old amateur standout David Ramirez Lima over 4 rounds at lightweight. Also featured will be 24-year-old talent Jeremy Adorno (9-1, 5 KOs), who comes to the ring from Kissimmee, Florida by way of San Juan, Puerto Rico, who will compete in a 6-round, 126lb featherweight bout against Buenos Aires, Argentina’s Jonathan Gabriel Pachado (6-1, 2 KOs).
