Today, January 16, NABF Welterweight Champion Raúl Curiel (16-0, 14 KOs) goes up against a new opponent in Jordan Panthen (11-1, 9 KOs), at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, Palm Desert, CA, following Rocha’s hospitalization earlier this week. The welterweight rematch not only sets the stage for a highly-anticipated bout, but kicks off an unmatched boxing slate on DAZN. Fans can now tune in to the prelims live stream on DAZN’s Boxing YouTube channel.
On the undercard, Cayden Griffiths (6-0, 6 KOs) takes on Lesther Espino (10-7, 8 KOs) in a welterweight bout, followed by Ruslan Abdullaev (3-0, 1 KOs) and Eduardo Abreu (14-1, 10 KOs) in a super lightweight clash. In another welterweight fight, Joel Iriarte (9-0, 8 KOs) faces off against Jireh De Los Santos (14-2, 5 KOs) before Manuel Flores (20-1, 16 KOs) and Jorge Chavez (14-0, 8 KOs) wrap up the undercard in a Super Bantamweight bout.
The weekend action continues when BKFC86 returns tomorrow (January 17) as Julian Lane (9-9, 3 KOs) and Dustin Pague (5-2, 4 KOs) square off in the BKFC Welterweight Championship. Elsewhere on the card, Former WBO super featherweight champion, Jamel, Herring, will make his bare-knuckle debut against Matt Guymon (2-1, 2 KOs) in a bantamweight bout. This fight means a great deal to Herring, as following his BKFC debut, the 40-year old will be among a shortlist of active BKFC fighters that also tout accomplished boxing careers.
As if that wasn’t enough, DAZN delivers fans a January 24 showdown featuring Andy Cruz (6-0, 3 KOs) and Raymond Muratalla (23-0, 17 KOs) as the two will headline a Las Vegas card in a battle for Muratalla’s IBF lightweight title. Then, in what’s being dubbed one of the biggest blockbuster fights of the year, the boxing world spotlight shifts to New York City on January 31 as Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) and Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) will face off in “The Ring 6,” with Lopez putting his WBO and Ring Junior Welterweight Titles on the line.
Next month, another marquee match-up awaits live exclusively on DAZN in “The Ring: High Stakes,” as Mario Barrios (29-2, 18 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) face off against one another, with Barrios’ WBC welterweight title on the line, a title which he has held since 2024.
