Uncasville, CT (Aug. 21, 2026) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, returned to the iconic Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for the seventh time on Friday with another sold-out night of bare knuckle fighting action at the legendary venue.
Undefeated Broward County, FL sensation Bryce “Baba Yaga” Henry cruised to 8-0 with a second-round knockout over Carlos Trinidad-Snake in Friday’s BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun main event. The remarkable stoppage came with just three seconds left in the second round and followed by a pair of knockdowns by the heavy hands of Henry. Henry and Trinidad-Snake entered fight night as the #1 and #2 ranked contenders in the BKFC welterweight division, respectively.
Henry took aim at four of BKFC’s biggest stars in his post-fight interview: “There are two guys I really wanna fight; Dustin Pague and Rico Franco. If I can’t get them, I’ve gotta fight again before the end of the year. At Hard Rock, I want the one and only David Mundell — easy money … If I can’t get them, I want Lorenzo Hunt, ‘The Juggernaut.’”
Columbus, GA light-heavyweight contender Joseph “The Dark Knight” Creer upped his record to 7-3 with his fourth straight victory in Friday’s Co-Main Event — a unanimous decision over Cody “The KnuckleManiac” Vidal, who entered fight night as the #3 contender in the division. Two judges scored the fight 50-45 and one had it 49-46, all in favor of Creer. Vidal, who hails from Huntington Beach, CA, is now 4-2-1.

In Friday’s Featured Fight, Myrtle Beach, SC featherweight Joey “The Raging Warrior” Gambino smashed his way to 2-0 with a second-round technical knockout at the expense of former BKFC Featherweight World title challenger Tommy “The Farmer” Strydom. Gambino floored Strydom three times before the fight was called 23 seconds into the second stanza. Strydom, who represents Johannesburg, South Africa, is now 4-3 in the Squared Circle.
Worcester, MA bantamweight contender “Slick” Sito Navarro racked up his fourth straight win and climbed to 5-1 with a come-from-behind victory over Robert “Ohteht” Fichtner. Navarro picked himself up off the canvas and dropped Fichtner before the fight was stopped 31 seconds into the second round. The Liberal, KS fighter Fichtner is now 0-2.
Former UFC star Kris “Soulless” Moutinho turned heads in his highly anticipated BKFC premiere by stopping Michael “Hurricane” Hernandez 52 seconds into the third round of their featherweight matchup. Moutinho logged a pair of knockdowns in his debut. Hernandez, a product of Clinton Township, MI, is now 1-1 under the BKFC banner.
St. Johnsbury, VT light-heavyweight “Crafty” Chris Perreault only needed 37 seconds to steamroll Joe Powers for the technical knockout victory in his BKFC debut. Perreault recorded a pair of knockdowns in the contest. Powers, who hails from Baltic, CT, was also stepping into the Squared Circle for the first time.
Parkersburg, WV’s Matt Denning was impressive in his BKFC debut, picking himself up off the canvas three times and recording four knockdowns of his own over Brandon “The Dream Killer” Bushaw in lightweight action. The technical knockout stoppage came at 1:34 of the fourth round. Bushaw, who represents Myrtle Beach, SC, is now 2-2, 1 NC under the BKFC banner.
20-year-old Graniteville, VT product Sophia Hayes earned her first BKFC victory with a technical knockout at the expense of Alexandra “The Great” Ballou in the women’s bantamweight division. The ringside doctor called a stop to the fight at 1:05 of the second round. Hayes is now 1-1, while the Milford, CT fighter Ballou is now 0-1-1.
Troy, NY bantamweight Dominick “Dom The Bomb” Carey needed just 21 seconds to knockout Jared “Lenny” Lennon in the opening action of the night. Carey is now 2-1, with both of his wins coming in the opening round. Lennon, who hails from Lowell, MA, is now 1-2-1 under the BKFC banner.
