EVERETT, MA – Championship stakes, hometown rivalries and rising prospects take center stage on Saturday, November 7, when CES Boxing and Granite Chin Promotions return to Encore Boston Harbor for Boston Harbor Fight Night 3.

Collaborating for the third time at the spectacular Everett venue, the two New England promotional powerhouses are bringing fans a thrilling night of professional boxing featuring a heavyweight championship showdown, unbeaten contenders and rising prospects eager to make their mark.

In the main event, Scituate heavyweight Kevin “Big Gulp” Nagle (11-1, 8 KOs) looks to bounce back from the first defeat of his professional career when he battles Boston-based Tongan Sione Tu’Ukofe Finau (6-3-1, 4 KOs) for the USA Massachusetts State Heavyweight title in a six-round slugfest.

For Nagle, November 7 offers a chance at redemption at the very venue where he suffered his first professional defeat in August. The heavy-handed Scituate native now has his sights set on regaining his Massachusetts State title, but standing in his way is Finau, a dangerous puncher riding a two-fight winning streak who has stopped four of the six opponents he has defeated.

In the co-feature, Nashua, NH’s Michael “Blessed Southpaw” Fontanez (12-0-1, 8 KOs) puts his unbeaten record on the line against tricky 27-fight veteran Alfred Raymond in a six-round middleweight contest.

Fontanez has the charisma and skills to become the face of boxing in Boston, but first he must solve Raymond, a slick boxer looking to use his experience to hand the rising southpaw his first defeat.

Topping the undercard is a scintillating six-round clash between undefeated welterweight puncher Jaydell “The Pazmanian Devil” Pazmino (10-0, 8 KOs) and Britain’s Graham Tirrell (10-3, 2 KOs).

The Londonderry, NH resident, by way of Lawrence, MA, has ended eight of his ten professional bouts inside the distance, but he is stepping up against a fighter determined to return to the UK with the biggest win of his pro career.

Also on the card, once-beaten Connecticut middleweight Daine Smikle (4-1, 1 KO) returns to take on seasoned Puerto Rican veteran Daniel Sostre in a four-round battle.  Smikle will look to add another victory to his record against an experienced opponent who has shared the ring with the likes of prospects Anthony Velasquez, Khiary Gray and Jahyae Brown.

Two prospects coming off knockout victories in their professional debuts look to make another statement in four-round bouts.  Burlington, VT heavyweight Mohammad Alyazouri (1-0, 1 KO) and Hopkinton, MA light heavyweight Barrett Hanlon (1-0, 1 KO) each look to build on an explosive introduction to the paid ranks.

Rounding out the action is an all-Massachusetts showdown between Revere’s Leonardo Ladeira (9-11-1, 8 KOs) and Peabody’s Russ Kimber (3-5, 1 KO) in a six-round light heavyweight bout.

With local bragging rights on the line, both men will be eager to leave Encore Boston Harbor with their hand raised.

“New England has a proud boxing tradition, and our goal is to help build its next generation of stars,” said CES Boxing President Jimmy Burchfield Sr. “By working together, CES Boxing and Granite Chin can create bigger opportunities for local fighters and give fans a series they can look forward to. Returning to a world-class venue like Encore Boston Harbor for our third show is another exciting step toward that vision.”

“We’ve put together a card with something for every boxing fan: a heavyweight title fight, prospects testing themselves against experienced veterans and a local rivalry with bragging rights on the line,” added Granite Chin Promotions President Chris Traietti. “Nagle wants his title back, Fontanez faces a tricky veteran and Pazmino gets an international test. These are the kinds of matchups that help fighters grow and keep fans coming back.”
