In a battle of former world title challengers, Orlando Cruz scored three knockdowns en route to a 10-round unanimous decision over Romulo Koasicha in a Featherweight bout.
In round six, Cruz dropped a bloody Koasicha with a right hook. Cruz dropped him again in round six. In round ten, Cruz scored a third knockdown with a combination on the ropes.
Cruz won by scores of 100-87, and 99-88 twice and is now 23-4-1. Koasicha is 25-6.
Sammy Valentin stopped veteran Cosme Rivera in round four of their six round Welterweight bout.
Valentin dropped Rivera with a body shot and the fight was over at 1:134 of round four.
Valentin is 6-0. Rivera is 38-23-3.
Santiago Arroyo scored a 4th round stoppage over Luis Villegas in a scheduled 4-round Bantamweight bout.
Arroyo dumped Villegas with a hard right hand and the fight was stopped at 2:14.
Arroyo is 4-0. Villegas is 0-2.
