MVP’s standout Tamm Thibeault is currently the #1-ranked WBA, #1 IBF, #1 WBC, and #2 WBO middleweight contender. Originally from Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada, Thibeault began her boxing journey at the age of nine, inspired by seeing her father, a former CFL player, knock out an opponent during a Provincial boxing tournament. Following in his footsteps, she took up boxing at age 12 and was inspired to compete for Canada while watching the first women’s Olympic boxing competition during the 2012 London Olympics. The 28-year-old middleweight, a southpaw standing 6 feet tall, then forged an outstanding amateur career. A two-time Olympian, Thibeault made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, where she advanced to the quarterfinals of the women’s 75kg (165lb) event, matching Canada’s best-ever Olympic result in any women’s boxing event. She went undefeated until she returned to the Paris Olympics in 2024, earning gold medals at the 2022 Amateur World Championship, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the 2023 Pan Am Games. Thibeault, who speaks French, English, and Spanish, completed a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Concordia University in 2023, which she earned over seven years while competing, then moved to Sheffield, England, where she earned a one-year Master’s degree in urban design and urban planning while training at the renowned Steel City Gym. Thibeault made her pro debut while competing under men’s rules, three-minute rounds, on the main card of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 10 in December 2024, then returned to the ring in March 2025 as part of MVP’s first ever event in Canada, Most Valuable Prospects 11, where she again competed under men’s rules with three-minute rounds and won by knockout in the final second of the first round, proving again the impact of women competing with equal rules to men. Thibeault entered her third pro fight continuing to compete under equal rules over 8, three-minute rounds on the preliminary card of MVP’s historic Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 all-women’s card against then-#1 contender Mary Casamassa, winning by TKO to become the #1 contender with two sanctioning bodies following the bout—one of the fastest-rising world title contenders in history. She earned her most recent TKO win in September 2025 on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 15.

“I’m proud to be part of the first all-women’s main card on ESPN,” said Tamm Thibeault. “ESPN and MVP are making a statement by putting women’s boxing at the forefront, and on Friday, April 17, I’ll be ready to show my talent, my elegance, and exactly why I belong on this stage.”

Nadja Jesus Santos has represented Brazil in national and international competitions and is part of the new generation of athletes helping strengthen women’s boxing in the country. Born in Brazil, she developed an interest in sports at a young age and discovered boxing as both a passion and a path for personal growth. She advanced through regional competitions before representing her state and later Brazil in amateur tournaments, with an amateur record of 65 fights with 50 wins and 15 losses. She is a two-time Brazilian champion as well as the current Brazilian champion. Inside the ring, she is recognized for a tactical style that combines speed with defensive awareness. Her performances have contributed to the continued rise of women’s boxing in Brazil, helping inspire younger athletes to pursue the sport and further expanding opportunities for female fighters nationwide.

“Fighting in New York, at a major MVP event, is proof that all the work, sacrifice, and dedication are paying off,” said Nadja Jesus Santos. “Facing Tamm Thibeault will be a big challenge, but I am prepared and motivated to show my progress inside the ring. Representing my team, my country, and all the people who believe in me gives me even more strength. I will step into that ring with a lot of determination, heart, and desire to win. It is a huge opportunity, and I am ready to seize it.”

MVP’s rising bantamweight contender and Amanda Serrano’s protege, Krystal Rosado is a 23-year-old sensation and Carolina, Puerto Rico native who made her professional debut on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 2 show in August 2023, stunning fans with a ferocious second-round KO. Rosado went on to collect a win on MVP’s historic Serrano vs. Ramos card in October 2023 before appearing in front of her home fans at the legendary Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan as part of MVP’s Jake Paul vs. Ryan Bourland in March 2024, taking home a majority decision win, which she followed with a swift knockout victory at MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 7 in July 2024. She returned for Most Valuable Prospects 9 in October 2024 where she earned a UD win. Following another dominant UD win in March 2025, Rosado competed with three minute rounds—equal rules to men—during the fight week Open Workouts for MVP and Netflix’s Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 all-women’s mega-event, winning by unanimous decision. She most recently defeated Tania Walters on the Serrano vs. Tellez undercard in January 2026. She is currently ranked the WBA #5, WBO #8, IBF #10, and the WBC #17 contender.

“I know Fernanda Reyes is coming to fight like the proud Mexican warrior she is and to defend her undefeated record. But I’m coming to New York to give everything I have and continue the great momentum my team and I have been building,” said Krystal Rosado. “I’m ready to put on a spectacular show for the fans and prove once again why I belong at the top. With God on my side, I will step into that ring prepared for war and leave with my hand raised.”

Fernanda Jimena “Torita” Reyes Delgado is a Mexican boxer from Jiquipilco, Mexico who began boxing at the age of 13 after being inspired by her father. Her nickname, “Torita,” originally belonged to her late father, and she adopted it in his honor. Reyes Delgado developed a standout amateur career, compiling an impressive stated amateur record of 80 wins, 2 losses, and 4 draws while building a reputation for a style that blends technical skill with aggression and a willingness to exchange in the ring.

“I’m proud to be part of this historic event and facing a talented boxer like Krystal Rosado,” said Fernanda Reyes. “I am sure we will keep the tradition alive of an all out war between Puerto Ricans and Mexicans inside the ring. For those that don’t know me, don’t miss this one. I don’t step back, and I’m coming to win. I am ready to put on a show and come out victorious.”

“MVPW was created to give the best women in boxing the same platform, spotlight, and opportunity as male counterparts in the sport, and this card shows exactly what that looks like,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “We’re proud to have women leading the charge with MVPW. This is what true equality in the sport looks like. For years, women fought on the undercards of men’s events, and now the roles can be reversed, with the best female fighters headlining, supported by incredible male talent on the undercard. MVPW-02 highlights the incredible depth of talent in women’s boxing today and bringing this event to New York at Madison Square Garden and delivering it live on ESPN is another major step in establishing MVPW as the global home for women’s boxing.”

US Olympian and amateur world champion Jahmal Harvey (2-0, 1 KO) was introduced to boxing at age 13 by his football coach Darrell Davis, who also owned a boxing gym. After competing in both sports, Harvey, an Oxon Hill, Maryland native, soon went all-in on boxing and immediately proved his elite potential at the junior, youth, and amateur levels, becoming a 10x national champion. By 18, he was training and sparring with Olympians, including Keyshawn Davis and Duke Ragan. That same year, he captured gold at the 2021 Elite World Championships— becoming the first American male to win the world title since 2007, while competing as one of the youngest athletes in the tournament. The next year, he took home silver at the 2022 Continental Championships and continued to dominate at the international level in 2023, winning gold at the Santiago Pan American Games. The finish qualified him for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where he finished as a quarter-finalist. The 22-year-old Harvey signed with Most Valuable Promotions ahead of his professional debut–a knockout win–on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 14 in August 2025, heralded as one of the top prospects in American boxing. He most recently earned a knockout win on the main Netflix card of MVP’s Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day in December 2025.

“I’m happy to be back on another great stage!” said Jahmal Harvey. “I’m looking to put on another skilled performance at the Mecca of boxing, MSG. Catch me live on ESPN on Friday, April 17.”

He will face Leandro Medina (7-3-1, 4 KOs), the 30-year-old from Rosario, Argentina. Medina returns to the ring following an active year. Fighting four times since July 2025, he notably earned two knockout wins, and most recently went the distance against rising contender Zaquin Moses in January 2026.

MVP’s 19-year-old multi-talented star Javon “Wanna” Walton (3-0-1, 1 KO) signed with MVP in July 2023 as an athlete under development before making his pro debut in 2024. As the youngest-ever athlete to sign with Nike’s Jordan Brand, Walton has continued to excel as a boxer. Walton began boxing at the age of four, and at age eight became one of America’s youngest amateur prospects, becoming a multi-time Junior Regional Champion and two-time Junior Olympic national silver medalist. The Atlanta native is also a world-renowned actor who captured international attention with his debut role as the beloved drug dealer “Ashtray” in the HBO Max Emmy-winning series Euphoria starring alongside Hollywood icons Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, and has since continued to co-star in numerous other film and TV titles. He trains under his father and coach, DJ Walton.

“I’m back in action on Friday, April 17, and I’m hyped to be fighting at such a historic venue like MSG,” said Wanna Walton. “I’ve got strong ties to New York, so it’s the perfect place to showcase everything I’ve been working hard on since my last fight in September.”

Brownsville, Texas 22-year-old Dionne Ruvalcaba (2-2, 1 KO) began boxing at the age of 16 after facing bullying in school, turning to the sport as a way to build confidence, discipline, and resilience. Ruvalcaba competed in 15 amateur bouts, compiling a record of 8 wins and 7 losses while developing a traditional boxer’s style in the ring. Known for his discipline, coachability, and hunger for success, Ruvalcaba continues to develop his craft as a young fighter building his path in the sport.

Following her outstanding amateur career as a 15x US national champion, MVP’s Nat Dove (7-0-1, 2 KOs) has quickly emerged as one of women’s boxing’s most promising up-and-coming talents. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native first made waves on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects developmental series, competing at the 6th and 8th installments of the series. Dove made her first knockout against Michel Novas in March 2025, continuing to develop her undefeated record. She steps back into the ring following her latest two TKO wins in August and October 2025.

MVP’s Raquel “Pretty Beast” Miller is an undefeated professional boxer from San Francisco, California, boasting a record of 13-0 with 6 knockouts and a reign as former WBA Interim super welterweight world champion, currently ranked the WBC #2 contender at 168lbs. A standout talent from the moment she laced up gloves, Miller began boxing in her early 20s and, within just two years, captured the 2012 USA Boxing National Championship and a silver medal at the 2012 Women’s World Championships in Beijing. She also earned a bronze medal at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and was selected to join the historic first-ever U.S. women’s boxing team for the London 2012 Olympic Games as an alternate. Beyond the ring, Miller is a driven entrepreneur and mentor. She is the founder of PB Brand, a luxury athletic line inspired by her “Pretty Beast” persona, and the co-founder of Ladies In Power, a Bay Area nonprofit empowering youth through mental health support, financial literacy, leadership training, and life skills development. Following her latest first-round TKO win in 2023, Miller took a break from boxing and now will make her return under the MVP banner.

“I’m excited to make my MVP debut on Friday, April 17 at Madison Square Garden,” said Raquel Miller. “Fighting on the Baumgardner vs. Shin card is a huge opportunity, and I’m ready to show the world why I belong on the big stage.”

“I know he’s tough and has experience,” Romero commented about Langston. “All I’m focused on is doing my job and having a dominant performance. We’ve been working on a lot of different things fans will see come March 20th.”

Something has to give in Independence: Langston has been knocked out only once in 20 pro fights; Romero has stopped 11 of his 12 victims, including the last nine in a row.

Najee Lopez Stops Gallegos in 8th Round of War

In a terrific back and forth fight, Najee Lopez remained undefeated as he fought through a cut and a knockdown to stop Manuel Gallegos in round eight of their 10-round light heavyweight bout at Oceana Heritage in Kissimmee, Florida.

In round two, Lopez was bleeding over the right eye from a headbutt.

In round seven, Lopez came out firing and landed a big right but it was Gallegos who landed a big right of his own that put Lopez on the deck. Seconds later another clash of heads opened up a cut under the right eye of Gallegos. In round eight, Lopez landed a hard left-right to the side of that head that rocked Gallegos and sent him reeling back. That was followed by about 10 flush punches that put Gallegos down from that hard flurry that forced referee Christopher Young to stop the bout at 2:41.

Lopez, 174.8 lbs of Ellenwood, GA is now 16-0 with 13 knockouts. Gallegos, 174.4 lbs of Los Mochis, MEX is 22-4-1.

“That just shows you I’m a true champion and I’m here to stay,” said an overjoyed Lopez, post-fight. I’m willing to prove it every time I step in the ring. He (Gallegos) was the best version of himself possible. I fought a true champion tonight. I’m not going to lie. That ring was small and he’s a big guy. I felt not only his shots; I let his presence. He came to win, but I showed I was there to win, too. It came down to nutrition and willpower. We both had a game plan, But I had more will.

“That’s a tough mf right there, continued Lopez. “Soon as I had him on the hook, I wasn’t going to let him off. That was 100% of a test and I feel like I passed it.”

Dominic Valle was in tough but won a hard fought 10-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Ramirez in a super featherweight bout.

In round seven, Valle was bleeding over his right eye from a headbutt.

Valle landed 152 of 591 punches. Ramirez landed 159 of 593.

LAS VEGAS – March 13, 2026 – Rising young Cuban star Yoenis Tellez will square off against top contender Brian Mendoza in a super welterweight showdown between former interim champions that serves as the new co-main event of a PBC Pay-Per-View event available on Prime Video on Saturday, March 28 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

This fight replaces the previously announced Frank Sanchez vs. Richard Torrez Jr. bout, which has been postponed.

The pay-per-view will now open up with undefeated heavyweight slugger Gurgen Hovhannisyan stepping in to face Cesar Navarro in a 10-round showdown at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and also feature the showdown between undefeated top-rated middleweight Yoenli Hernandez and battle-tested U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha.

Exciting young star Elijah Garcia and super middleweight contender Kevin Newman II will now meet in the main event of PBC on Prime Video action streaming live and for free on Prime Video prior to the pay-per-view. The complete lineup of fights that lead into the pay-per-view will be announced shortly.

The jam-packed card is topped by WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora defending his world title against former unified world champion Keith “One Time” Thurman in the main event.

Tickets for the live event are on sale now through AXS.com.

In addition to being available for purchase on Prime Video, regardless of Prime membership, fans will also be able to continue to access the telecast through traditional cable and satellite outlets as well as PPV.com.

The event is promoted by TGB Promotions and Sampson Boxing.

**YOENIS TELLEZ VS. BRIAN MENDOZA**

In a battle of former interim champions at 154 pounds, Cuba’s Yoenis Tellez will look to take down another veteran opponent in the always dangerous contender Brian Mendoza, as they go toe-to-toe in super welterweight action.

The 25-year-old Tellez (11-1, 8 KOs) captured the WBA Interim Title with a March 2025 decision over former world champion Julian Williams. After dropping a tough decision to eventual 154-pound world champion Abass Baraou last August, Tellez most recently got back in the win column with a December stoppage of Kendo Castaneda. Previously Tellez made his first big splash in the sport when he stepped in on short notice in July 2023 to blast out contender Sergio Garcia and earn a third-round TKO on the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford undercard. Originally from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, Téllez continued to rise in two subsequent bouts after the Garcia triumph, closing the show in style with a 10th-round TKO of Livan Navarro in December 2023 before earning a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Joseph Jackson in April 2024.

“I respect Brian Mendoza and everything he’s done, but on March 28 at MGM Grand, I’m coming hungry and ready to seize this opportunity,” said Tellez. “I’ve worked too hard to let this moment pass me by. I’m prepared to leave everything in the ring, because my goal is to get back to that world title fight, and this is a major step in that direction. The fans in Las Vegas are going to see the best version of me, and I plan to put on a show. I’m coming with everything!”

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and now fighting out of Las Vegas, Mendoza (23-4, 17 KOs) earned the WBC Interim Title with a highlight-reel knockout of reigning world champion Sebastian Fundora in April 2023, and still holds the distinction as the only fighter to best Fundora. He followed up that win by traveling to Australia to challenge then WBO 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu, eventually losing by decision. After the Tszyu fight, he stepped in on short notice and dropped a decision to top 154-pounder Serhii Bohachuk in 2024, before his latest action saw him stop Jesus Antonio Rojas last July. Led to the ring by renowned trainer Ismael Salas, the 32-year-old Mendoza had previously knocked out former unified 154-pound champion Jeison Rosario in November 2022 and rode a three-fight winning streak into a decision defeat against now Interim WBC Middleweight Champion Jesus Ramos Jr. in September 2021.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be back under the bright lights in Las Vegas on a card like this,” said Mendoza. “A win here turns everything around and puts me right back where I belong, with the best in the world at 154 pounds. I’m hungrier than ever to get back to the top and ready to knock out whoever gets in my way, starting with Tellez.”

**YOENLI HERNANDEZ VS. TERRELL GAUSHA**

In a 10-round middleweight attraction, one of the 160-pound division’s fastest-rising stars Yoenli Hernandez will put his unbeaten record on the line against his toughest opponent to date, the dangerous U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha, with the winner in prime position to challenge for middleweight gold.

Ranked number one by the WBA, number two by the WBC and number three by the WBO, Hernandez (9-0, 8 KOs) is yet another in a long line of sensational amateur fighters to come from the Cuban program, with his long resume before turning pro featuring a 2021 gold medal at AIBA World Boxing Championships. Originally from Camaguey, Cuba and now fighting out of Providence, Rhode Island, Hernandez turned pro in May 2022 with a pair of stoppage victories and continued to dominate his competition as he rose up the rankings. The 28-year-old returned in 2024 with four U.S. fights, including a stoppage of the veteran contender Alejandro Barrera in June and a TKO over the previously unbeaten Bryce Henry in October. Hernandez added three more victories in 2025, including a shutout unanimous decision over top contender Kyrone Davis on Prime Video last May.

“I’m extremely grateful for another opportunity to showcase my talents,” said Hernandez. “But let’s be real, not everyone has the heart to step in there with me. Respect to the one who will on March 28. I’m locked in, staying sharp and I’m coming to make a statement. No shortcuts, no excuses, just pressure. Stay tuned.”

A member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team, Gausha (24-5-1, 12 KOs) was born in Cleveland, Ohio but now fights out of Encino, California and is trained by the renowned Manny Robles. Gausha bounced back from an unsuccessful title challenge of WBC Middleweight World Champion Carlos Adames in 2024 to drop Elijah Garcia in their 2025 showdown, eventually coming up on the short end of a narrow split decision. Prior to facing Adames, Gausha had won back-to-back bouts as he knocked out Brandyn Lynch in March 2023 before winning a decision over KeAndrae Leatherwood in September of that year. Gausha has faced top competition throughout his career, having fought former champion Austin Trout to a draw in 2019 in addition to decision losses against WBA Middleweight World Champion Erislandy Lara, former world champion Tim Tszyu and top contender Erickson Lubin.

“I’m a true professional who’s always training, because boxing is what I do,” said Gausha. “I’ve seen Yoenli fight and he’s a young, strong, skilled fighter. If you’ve watched my fights in the past, you’ll know that’s what I like. I want to test myself against the best. Beating him will get me close to my goal of becoming world champion. That’s what I’m here for.”

**GURGEN HOVHANNISYAN VS. CESAR NAVARRO**

The undefeated heavyweight Gurgen Hovhannisyan will make his 2026 debut as he continues his ascent up the rankings against Cesar Navarro, who will look to make it three straight victories in their 10-round affair.

An Armenian-native now living and training in Los Angeles, Hovhannisyan (9-0, 8 KOs) has made his rise under the watchful eye of top trainer Joe Goossen. Now the WBA’s number 10 ranked heavyweight, Hovhannisyan returns to action after scoring two victories in 2025. He kicked off the year with a fifth-round KO of Dajuan Calloway in April before most recently stopping Chris Thomas in round three in July. The 28-year-old also owns a stoppage victory over veteran contender Michael Polite-Coffie.

“I’m ready to show everybody how much I continue to improve,” said Hovhannisyan. “I’m definitely coming for another knockout victory. We’ve been grinding and grinding and it’s time to show the world all that we’ve been working on.”

The 26-year-old Navarro (15-3, 13 KOs) steps back into the ring fresh off back-to-back TKO victories, with his most recent triumph coming last September against Derek Saul Cardenas Perez. The 26-year-old showed he’s danger for any opponent last May as he dropped the undefeated contender Dainier Pero twice before losing a close decision. A pro since 2017, Navarro was unbeaten in his first eight fights and has gone the distance in each of his defeats.

“Opportunities like this don’t come around often and I don’t take it lightly,” said Navarro. “On March 28 in Las Vegas I get to step into the ring against a tough opponent in Gurgen Hovhannisyan. It’s a big stage and that’s exactly where I want to be. I’m proud to represent Phoenix and my Mexican roots event time I step into the ring. Fighters from where I’m from know how to grind and fight with heart. On March 28 I’m coming to represent my city, my culture and everyone who believes in me. Phoenix and Mexico – this is for you.”

Mayer’s signing represents another major addition to MVP’s rapidly expanding roster of elite female fighters and comes as the company launches MVPW, its new global platform dedicated to women’s boxing. Mayer lost her perfect record in a debated 2022 split decision loss to Alycia Baumgardner in a bid for the undisputed junior lightweight title. Six months later, Mayer bested Ryan by unanimous decision in Las Vegas, putting an exclamation point on their fierce 20-round rivalry. SKYE NICOLSON HEADLINES HUGE MATCHROOM BOXING HOMECOMING IN MELBOURNE AS NEW KAYO SPORTS TV ERA BEGINS ON APRIL 29

Skye Nicolson kickstarts Matchroom Boxing’s new era on Kayo SPORTS in Australia in her first-ever headline show on Wednesday, April 29.

The WBC Interim Super Bantamweight Champion heads home Down Under to face ’The Golden Girl’, Mariah Turner in a mouth-watering, all-Aussie title showdown at the Melbourne Pavilion – broadcast worldwide outside Australia on DAZN – as the former Featherweight queen bids to become a two-weight World Champion and close in on an Undisputed title shot in the 122lbs division.

Rising Super Lightweight star Jake Wyllie battles London 2012 Aussie Olympian Ibrahim Balla in the co-Main Event – as another Olympic hero in dangerous Heavyweight prospect Teremoana Teremoana returns as part of a stacked undercard to kickstart the new partnership between Matchroom Boxing and DAZN’s Kayo SPORTS.

It is the first showcase as part of the recently extended agreement with DAZN’s Foxtel Group in Australia which will see seven major Matchroom Boxing events in 2026 broadcast live on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel, bringing elite global boxing to Australian audiences.

Following DAZN’s acquisition of Foxtel Group last year, the company has continued to expand its portfolio of sports content on Kayo SPORTS. The new partnership with Matchroom Boxing strengthens Kayo SPORTS’s position as Australia’s sports streaming leader.

Matchroom Sport Chairman, Eddie Hearn said:“We pride ourselves at Matchroom Boxing on being the only true global, promotional company in the world and we cannot wait to get this new, seven shows-a-year partnership started.

“We have a great chance to really get our teeth into what I believe is the most exciting time ever for Australian boxing and can’t wait to stage many major events here in what promises to be a big year.

“It all starts on April 29 with a fantastic fight for WBC Interim Champion Skye Nicolson against Mariah Turner – where a future Undisputed shot awaits the winner. We’ve also got a man who is so good, they named him twice, in Teremoana Teremoana – a giant of a young man, who I believe will be a future Heavyweight World Champion. Plus, we’ve got a great card stacked with 50-50 fights including what will be a brilliant Super Lightweight match-up between Jake Wyllie and Ibrahim Balla.

“For a long time, this has been a market that we’ve really, really wanted to make sure that we get our teeth into. And now we have the ability to do that with Kayo SPORTS which is Australia’s sports leader.

“So, it’s a major deal for us, a major deal for Australian boxing, and we look forward to expanding that fan base in Australia and trying to spread the sport to the masses. That’s the job for us. We plan to make boxing bigger than ever here and we can’t wait for the partnership with Kayo SPORTS to get going.”

Foxtel Group Executive Director – Commercial, Sport Adam Howarth said:“Through this partnership with Matchroom, we’re delivering more world-class boxing to fans across Australia. As partners in growth, we’re focused on expanding the sport’s reach, building on the momentum that’s already there and bringing fans closer to the awesome moments this sport offers.

“And what a way to kick off the new agreement – an all-Aussie showdown in Melbourne. Bring it on.”

Nicolson (15-1, 3 KOs) – who is currently training in Spain – has her sights firmly set on an Undisputed clash with the winner of the upcoming Ellie Scotney vs Mayelli Flores fight in her quest to be the ultimate, Undisputed ruler of the Super Bantamweights.

Having fought all around the world, the former Olympian is thrilled to be heading back to Australia for what will be her first headline show – and she insists she will not leave her home fans disappointed when she takes on a tough and game rival in Turner (12-1, 6 KOs).

Nicolson said:“This is a huge moment for me and I’m thrilled to be coming home to defend my WBC title and mandatory position for the soon-to-be-crowned Undisputed Champion.

“It’s an honour to headline such a strong card full of Australian talent – and my first headline event being back home is extra special.

“Mariah is a quality fighter and I’m expecting a tough challenge. But every time I step into the ring I level up and I plan on making a real statement on April 29 in Melbourne and setting up the mega fights in the division for 2026.”

Turner, herself ranked in the top 10 in the Featherweight division above, is dropping down in weight but is ready to cause a major upset.

“I’d like to thank Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing for giving me this opportunity,”said Turner.

“This is the biggest challenge of my career so far and the kind of opportunity that dreams are made of.

“To step into the ring with a World Champion like Skye Nicolson on such an incredible global platform is a huge moment for me. I respect what Skye has achieved in the sport. At the same time, I truly believe in myself and in the work my team and I are putting in behind the scenes.

“I’m incredibly grateful to my team at Fortitude Boxing, my manager Stephen Deller for backing me, and to my major sponsor Cappah Group for supporting my career and helping me get here. We are leaving no stone unturned in this camp. I’m ready to rise to the moment on April 29. This is my chance to let my light shine, show the world who I am as a fighter, and prove that I belong on the world stage.”

Teremoana Teremoana, meanwhile, faces USA’s Curtis ‘The Hurt’ Harper in Orlando next Saturday, March 21. And the undefeated 9-0 (9 KOs) behemoth has issued a challenge to any Heavyweight rival who wants to step inside the ropes to face him on his return to Melbourne on April 29.

“I’m really looking forward to what promises to be a busy 2026,” said Teremoana Teremoana, as he awaits news on his homecoming opponent on April 29.

“This new broadcast deal Matchroom Boxing has in Australia should be a great opportunity for me to fight in front of my supporters at home and I’m excited to continue on my journey to the World Heavyweight title.”

Jake Wyllie (18-2-1, 16 KOs), speaking at Fortitude Boxing’s base in Brisbane, is determined to bounce back from his split decision draw with Paul Fleming last December and reignite his charge up the Super Lightweight rankings when he faces veteran Balla (17-3-0, 7 KOs) next month.

“My full focus is on April 29 and getting the job done against Ibrahim Balla,” said Wyllie.

“I want the big fights and this is a massive stepping stone towards that. I will do my best to perform well and go down to his backyard and upset the apple cart. I’ll be coming in red hot for this one and I am really looking forward to it.”

Francis Hogan Makes the First Defense of his NABF Middleweight Title on March 28 at North Shore Music Theatre

WEYMOUTH, MA – Undefeated NABF Middleweight Champion Francis “Frank the Tank” Hogan (21-0, 17 KOs) will make the first defense of his title on Saturday, March 28 when he faces battle-tested Ghanaian veteran Patrick Allotey (45-10, 35 KOs) at the iconic North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA.

The eight-round bout headlines CES Boxing’s ‘North Shore Knock Out,’ a stacked eight-bout card featuring two championship fights and several of the region’s top rising prospects.

Tickets for the event, priced between $60 and $110, are on sale now at CESFights.com and at the North Shore Music Theatre. Doors open at 6pm, with the first bell scheduled for 7pm EST.

The fight represents the next step in what is quickly becoming one of New England’s most promising middleweight runs, as Hogan has posted recent wins over Elvin Ayala (KO 2), Khiary Gray (W10), Esneiker Correa (KO 4) and Antonio Todd (W8).

Many observers considered the win over Todd at Encore Boston Harbor last November as the most complete performance of Hogan’s career.  The rangy southpaw controlled the bout from the opening bell, dropping Todd in the seventh round in a disciplined performance that showcased both his ring IQ and his ability to break opponents down late.

“The strategy was to keep hitting the hole on him,” explained Hogan. “He was a flat-footed fighter who liked to come forward. Every time he attacked, I would pivot around him, hit the hole and land shots.  Once I realized he didn’t have much power, I started breaking him down and by the last few rounds I was walking him down and looking to take him out.”

The win earned Hogan a world ranking with the WBC and further cemented the 25-year-old as a fighter to watch in the middleweight division.

On March 28, ‘Frank the Tank’ will face a different type of challenge in Allotey, a seasoned veteran from Ghana who brings experience, power and durability to the ring.

Hogan’s preparation for his first title defense has been business as usual. The heavy-handed middleweight continues to balance life in the gym with his day job as a certified welder in Walpole, all while sharpening his craft alongside some of the region’s top fighters.

“I sparred ten rounds with [jr. middleweight contender] Rashidi Ellis this morning,” said Hogan of his preparation.  “I feel great.  I’m ready for this fight.”

With 35 knockouts in 45 wins, Allotey is a powerful puncher who has faced a who’s who of middleweight contenders, including recent bouts against Chordale Booker and Tommy Hyde. The Ghanaian’s most recent appearance was a razor-thin majority decision loss to Hyde in September, a fight that many felt he should have won.

“He’s a tough, rugged opponent,” said Hogan. “He doesn’t really try to control the fight — he kind of fights your fight, so I feel like I can do what I want in there. I’m going to feel him out early, see how his power is, and then dominate him.”

While Allotey offers Hogan the chance to see how he deals with a power puncher, the matchup also offers Hogan a chance to measure himself against fighters who recently shared the ring with Allotey.

“I want to show everybody that even though he’s a seasoned veteran who’s been in there with world-class opponents, I’m also a world-class opponent and I can get him out of there.”

Despite his rapid ascent, Hogan maintains a grounded outlook on his career.  At just 25 years old, he believes the key to reaching the sport’s elite level is patience and steadily improving his level of opposition.

“Right now we’re just fighting better fighters every time and seeing what my strengths are,” said Hogan.  “I can box, but I can also get in there and bang.”

Hogan credits much of his growth to the tight-knit group surrounding him in the Boston boxing scene, including trainer Mark DeLuca and a stable of young fighters who push one another daily.

“We all feed off each other,” said Hogan of stablemates Jahyae Brown, Thomas O’Toole, and amateur heavyweight Gilbert “Big Tonka” Kabamba. “Everyone shows up and works hard. Mark motivates all of us and knows what each fighter needs individually.”

For now, the focus remains squarely on March 28 at the North Shore Music Theatre — a legendary venue that will host Hogan’s first defense of the NABF crown.

With a perfect record, a growing fanbase, and a seasoned veteran standing across the ring, Hogan sees the moment as another opportunity to prove he belongs among the rising stars in the middleweight division.

“I’m just taking it fight by fight,” said Hogan about the prospect of challenging for a world title. “If the phone call comes, it comes.  Until then, I’m staying in the gym and getting better.”

Los Angeles, CA — Wise Owl Boxing, led by founder Mark Habibi, is proud to announce that rising professional contender Jalen “Skywalker” Walker (15-1) has officially signed a management agreement with the company, adding another exciting young talent to the Wise Owl Boxing stable.

Walker enters the partnership as an established young fighter with a tremendous amateur pedigree and an impressive professional résumé. Known for his athleticism, speed, and sharp ring IQ, Walker has quickly built a reputation as a dangerous competitor and one of the promising fighters in the lower weight divisions.

Habibi expressed strong enthusiasm about bringing Walker into the Wise Owl team.

“Jalen is a tremendous young fighter with a deep amateur background and a lot of upside,” said Habibi. “He has the talent, the work ethic, and the mentality to become a serious contender in this sport. We’re very excited to welcome him to Wise Owl Boxing.”

As part of the new partnership, Walker will now be working with highly respected trainer Trevor Sambrano, who is best known for coaching world-class contender Brandon Adams. The addition of Sambrano to Walker’s corner is expected to elevate his development as he enters the next stage of his career.

“Linking Jalen with Trevor Sambrano is a major step forward,” Habibi added. “Trevor has proven he can prepare fighters to compete at the highest levels of the sport. I believe he’s going to help take Jalen to the next level.”

Wise Owl Boxing will also continue working closely with Walker’s promoter, Patrick Ragan of Westside Promotions, to strategically guide the fighter’s career and secure meaningful opportunities in the ring.

Habibi believes Walker is only a few fights away from breaking into the top 15 in the world rankings, and the long-term goal is clear.

“Our plan is to move Jalen aggressively but intelligently,” said Habibi. “Working alongside Patrick Ragan and Westside Promotions, I believe he’ll be ranked in the top 15 within a few fights and climbing the rankings as we work toward a world title opportunity.”

Walker joins a rapidly growing Wise Owl Boxing roster that already includes several accomplished fighters, including IBF world title contender Brandon Adams, WBC-ranked contender Charles Conwell, undefeated rising prospect Ebenezer Griffith, Mexican Olympian Brianda Tamara Cruz, and fan-favorite contender Chantel Navarro.

With an experienced team behind him and a clear path forward, Jalen “Skywalker” Walker now begins the next chapter of his career as he continues his climb through the professional ranks toward championship contention.

JONNY MANSOUR TAKES ON WILLIAM KING AS ONE HALF OF A DOUBLE MAIN EVENT AT FRONTWAVE ARENA’S SD FIGHT NIGHT: FAMILY BUSINESS ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026

Oceanside, CA (March 12, 2026)?– Frontwave Arena and G2G Promotions today announced several matchups including the one half of a Double Main Event for the arena’s inaugural SD Fight Night event, titledSD Fight Night: Family Business, taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at?Frontwave?Arena?in Oceanside, Calif.

San Diego’s rising star Jonny Mansour (6-0, 2 KOs) returns to the ring for the first time in 2026 when he takes on seasoned veteran William King (6-3-2, 3 KOs) of Lynwood, Calif. in an 8-round lightweight tilt.

Co-headlining the event is Mansour’s cousin, Julius “Juju” Ballo (2-0). A highly decorated amateur in his own right, the 22-year-old Ballo’s opponent will be announced shortly.

Tickets for?SD Fight Night: Family Business?are on sale now at?AXS.com. The first fight of the evening begins at 5 p.m. PT, and broadcast and streaming details will be announced shortly.

Following a breakout 2025 campaign, Mansour, 25, has emerged as one of the most promising prospects in the star-studded lightweight division. While his dominant professional run has recently drawn widespread attention, Mansour’s journey in the sport began at just eight years old. He compiled more than 140 amateur victories, rising to become Team USA’s top-ranked lightweight and serving as an Olympic alternate during the 2020 Olympic cycle. A National Golden Gloves champion, Mansour also represented the United States internationally while pursuing studies in business and finance at San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business. On Saturday, April 18, Mansour aims to take the next step in his young career when he performs near his home of La Mesa, Calif.

Standing opposite the hometown hero, 30-year-old King will make the short trip south looking to hand the undefeated prospect his first loss. Making his professional debut in 2021, King picked up five victories in his first six bouts, including three by way of unanimous decision and two knockouts. Though he came up short in his most recent outing, King delivered a devastating first round knockout against Markus Bowes in July 2025, a reminder that the Perris, Calif., resident remains a dangerous opponent.

“William King presents another great challenge for me,” said Mansour. “He nearly has twice as many fights as me and sports real knockout power. Ever since I was a kid, I would dream of headlining shows in a packed San Diego arena. Now that I have this opportunity to perform in front of my friends and family at Frontwave Arena, I will showcase the San Diego boxing scene and why I am ready for the biggest stages. Come April 18, I will have my hand raised.”

?

“I’m looking forward to going to an opponent’s backyard and competing,” said William King. “That’s been the story of my career. Jonny Mansour is a really smart fighter but I have much more professional experience than he does. This has been my best training camp in a long time for me, so I’m ready to go April 18.”

Angel Munoz (8-2, 6 KOs), a hard-hitting super welterweight from Oceanside, returns to fight in front of his hometown crowd when he takes on Cruz Becerra Monteon (3-1, 1 KO) in a six-round contest. Known for his aggressive style and knockout power, Munoz will look to deliver another statement performance just miles from where he grew up, feeding off the energy of local fans as he continues building momentum in the division.

In addition, Pomona, Calif. native Isaac Anguiano (10-1-1, 4 KOs) squares off against Jose Negrete (4-2, 4 KOs) in a bantamweight contest. On the strength of seven-straight victories, Anguiano will meet Hanford, Calif.’s Negrete whose all four victories have come by way of knockout. Meanwhile, San Diego-born super lightweight Jose Chollet (6-2, 4 KOs) aims to insert himself back in the win column against Jose Cruz (2-3, 1 KO).

Also in the super lightweight division, John Ornelas (5-2-1, 2 KOs) takes on Bahamas’ grizzled veteran Lester Brown (5-4, 3 KOs). A career spanning over a decade, Brown returns to the ring for the first time following a two-year layoff in front of Ornelas hometown crowd. Kicking off the action for the evening, Vista, Calif. resident via Mexico Franklin Garcia (1-0, 1 KO) reenters the fray in a quick turnaround following his dominant professional debut in February when he faces off against Rahmel McKinley (1-2).

WOLLONGONG, AUSTRALIA – March 11, 2026 – Former world champion and Australian superstar Tim Tszyu will square off against undefeated rising WBA  contender Denis Nurja in the super welterweight main event of PBC Championship Boxing on Prime Video action on Saturday, April 4 (U.S. date and time) from the Wollongong Entertainment Centre in Australia.

The event will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with the action streaming exclusively on Prime Video for all Prime members in the United States and select countries. Join today or start a free 30-day trial to catch the card.

Also featured on Prime Video will be a duel of top super bantamweight contenders as Australia’s Sam Goodman takes on Argentina’s Rodrigo Ruiz in a 12-round IBF 126-Pound Title Eliminator, plus undefeated 2024 Australian Olympian Callum Peters will put his perfect record on the line against fellow unbeaten Delio Mouzinho in middleweight action.

The event is promoted by No Limit Boxing and The Rose Brothers, in association with TGB Promotions.

**TIM TSZYU VS. DENIS NURJA**

A fan-favorite in his native Australia, former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu looks to prove he’s ready to return to his champion status against the undefeated ascending WBA No. 12-ranked contender Denis Nurja in the evening’s 10-round super welterweight main event.

The 31-year-old Tszyu (26-3, 18 KOs) will enter this fight off his second straight training camp with new trainer Pedro Diaz in Miami and while holding the WBO No. 3 ranking. Most recently, Tszyu won a dominating unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Anthony Velazquez in December, five months after dropping the second of two memorable contests against current WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Sebastian Fundora. Tszyu came into the first Fundora fight off a red-hot 2023 campaign that saw him elevated to world champion at 154-pounds while defeating former world champion Tony Harrison, top contender Brian Mendoza and former title challenger Carlos Ocampo. A native of Sydney, Australia, Tszyu made his U.S debut against U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha in March 2022, earning a unanimous decision. Tszyu grew up playing soccer, but soon gravitated toward boxing. The decision led to him following in the legendary footsteps of his father, Kostya, who was an undisputed 140-pound champion.

“I feel better than ever and I’m ready to get back to work,” said Tszyu. “Denis Nurja is undefeated for a reason and he presents a real challenge. He’s got a big amateur pedigree with eight national titles and he’s fought at the world championships, so he’s been in there with some serious fighters. That’s the kind of opponent that motivates me and keeps me sharp. I’m inspired, focused and preparing for the toughest version of him.

“There are some massive opportunities ahead but none of that matters unless I get through this fight. My full focus is on Easter Sunday and the job in front of me. I want to get back to the top of the division and fight for world titles again and this is the first step. I’ve fought all around Australia but I haven’t fought in Wollongong and it’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to fight. I know it’s the territory of Sammy Goodman and Alex Volkanovski and there’s a huge combat sports culture down there, so it’s going to be a great atmosphere.”

A native of Tirana, Albania, Nurja (20-0, 9 KOs) has risen up the rankings while fighting and winning in six different countries as he looks to make it seven in Australia against Tszyu. The 31-year-old had a big 2025 that saw him pick up three victories, including a July stoppage of Kiryl Samadurau, and decisions over Luigi Francesco Zito and Refik Tarhan. Now training and residing in Italy, Nurja has fought professionally since 2018 and owns a notable victory over the previously unbeaten Charles Shinima in March 2024. An accomplished amateur who won eight Albanian national championship while competing on the country’s national team, Nurja kicked off his 2026 in mid-February with a first-round stoppage of Jose Gregorio Marcano.

“I am 20-0 for a reason and I did not build that record by playing it safe,” said Nurja. “This is the biggest opportunity of my career and I am ready for it. People are talking about Tim’s comeback, but I am the one standing in front of him. I respect what he has done in the sport but I believe this is my moment. I am coming to Australia to win.”

**SAM GOODMAN VS. RODRIGO RUIZ**

A former world title challenger, top super bantamweight contender Sam Goodman will take on tricky Argentine contender Rodrigo Ruiz in a 12-round IBF 126-Pound World Title Eliminator.

Goodman (21-1, 8 KOs) steps back into action after winning a one-sided unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Tyler Blizzard in December. It was the 27-year-old’s first fight since a hard-fought decision loss to then WBA Featherweight World Champion. The New South Wales, Australia-native has never lost in the 122-pound division, reaching top contender status with a pair of signature victories in 2023. He kicked off that campaign by defeating former world champion T.J. Doheny before dispatching of the favored and then unbeaten Ra’eese Aleem.

Looking to become the next Argentine world champion, Ruiz (23-1, 17 KOs) represents his native Las Talitas, Tucuman and most recently stopped Isaac Arias in the sixth-round in November. The 25-year-old has fought professionally since 2021 and has stayed busy working his way up the rankings, including three wins in 2025 following a four-win 2024 campaign. His lone blemish came via decision against unbeaten contender Mukhammad Shekhov in their July 2025 clash that saw both fighters hit the canvas.

**CALLUM PETERS VS. DELIO MOUZINHO**

The highly-touted middleweight prospect Callum Peters will put his undefeated record on the line against Timor-Leste’s Delio Mouzinho in a six-round matchup of young fighters who each boast 100% KO ratios.

After representing Australia at the 2024 Olympics, Peters (5-0, 5 KOs) turned pro in December 2024 with a first-round stoppage of Mitch Holden. The 25-year-old will look to continue his rise and make his 2026 debut in action on Prime Video. A native of Adelaide, South Australia, Peters put together a big 2025 with four more knockouts including his most recent bout, a December stoppage of Cody Beekin that saw him pick up the Australian middleweight title via sixth-round stoppage.

The 25-year-old Mouzinho (4-0, 4 KOs) will fights for the first time in 2026 after beating two previously undefeated fighters in 2025. He kicked the year off with a second-round stoppage of Alisher Ismailov before traveling to Canada to stop Kimani Crawford in round two in June. Mouzinho turned pro in 2024 with a pair of first-round knockouts.

ProBox & Teiken Announce Co-Promotional Deal with World-Ranked Bantamweight Contender Katsuma Akitsugi

Garry Jonas, CEO and Founder of ProBoxTV and Mr. Akihiko Honda, President of Teiken Promotions, are pleased to announce they have reached a co-promotional agreement for IBF #5-, WBO #8-, WBC #12-, and WBA #14-ranked bantamweight contender Katsuma “El Cuete Japonecito” Akitsugi.

Despite being a Japanese native, Akitsugi (14-0, 4 KOs) has never fought outside the US.

The 28-year-old grew up in Wakayama, Japan, but came to the US over a decade ago on a student visa where he continued to pursue his passion for boxing in his off-time.

To his credit, the fan-friendly southpaw found his way to Coach Eddie Hernandez at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, where the pair have been able to go from fighting as a promotionally unaffiliated opponent to seeing his career blossom after signing with ProBoxTV two years ago and being featured in exciting showcases regularly on their broadcasts.

JOLENE MIZZONE LEAVES FIGHTERS FIRST MANAGEMENT TO RETURN TO PROMOTIONAL WORK

DALLAS – March 11, 2026 – Fighters First Management officially announced today that former company president Jolene Mizzone has left the company to return to the promotional side of the business. CEO Adrian Clark will continue to lead the company after a banner 2025 that saw their fighters compete on the sport’s biggest stages.

“You can’t replace a Jolene Mizzone,” said Clark. “She is a Hall of Famer for a reason, and she will be sorely missed here at Fighters First. When it’s all said and done, Jolene Mizzone will be known as the most powerful female promoter in boxing.

“We’ve built a great company that helps protect athletes contractually and financially. The goal is to continue building Fighters First as the leading managerial company in boxing. When you represent world-ranked fighters like Brian Norman Jr., Edwin De Los Santos, and Justin Pauldo, it makes attaining that goal easier.”

The new year for Fighters First Management will feature the ring return of the rising superstar Brian Norman Jr. who broke through into boxing’s elite in 2025, guided by Clark and promoter Top Rank. Already the reigning WBO Welterweight World Champion, Norman delivered the unanimous Knockout of the Year over Jin Sasaki with an unforgettable one-shot highlight in June. In November, he went toe-to-toe with pound-for-pound great Devin Haney on the year’s biggest card, further cementing his place as a torch bearer for the next generation of stars in the sport, even in defeat.

The Fighters First stable also boasts one of their newest signees, top lightweight contender Edwin De Los Santos, who recently inked co-promotional deals with Zuffa Boxing and Throwback Boxing Promotions as he intends to show why he’s the most feared fighter at 135-pounds once again in 2026.

The company also counts to its management roster a slew of rising contenders and future stars, including Justin Pauldo, the WBC No. 6 and IBF No. 14-ranked lightweight contender who’s risen up the division dominating on ProBox TV shows, plus 25-year-old unbeaten rising contender Dominique Francis, a recent-signee to Zuffa Boxing, and promising Dallas-area prospect Joseph Almadji.

Clark also added that in addition to building on his success putting his fighters in the best position to succeed, he will continue to preach his Fighters First mentality to the next generation of boxing managers.

“I am excited for what the future holds with Fighters First. I see an avenue where I am not only representing the best fighters in the world, I am also developing the future boxing managers of tomorrow.”

Rafael Lozano Jr. Makes Spectacular Professional Debut

The Palacio Municipal de Deportes Vista Alegre witnessed a historic night for Spanish boxing. Rafael Lozano Jr., son of the legendary two-time Olympic medalist Rafael “El Balita” Lozano, enjoyed a dream professional debut by capturing the WBA Ibero-American flyweight title with a unanimous decision victory over experienced Venezuelan Kervin Romero.

Under the event’s slogan “The Legacy,” the young fighter from Córdoba accepted the challenge of making his professional debut in a ten-round fight, a bold gamble that he validated with a display of technique and maturity well beyond his experience level. Lozano Jr. controlled the tempo from the start, using a sharp jab to keep Romero’s aggression in check as the Venezuelan consistently tried to force exchanges at close range and target the body.

The key moment came in the fifth round, when Lozano Jr. landed a precise counter that sent the Venezuelan to the canvas and forced the first count of the fight. Despite the knockdown, Romero showed admirable courage, remaining competitive and searching for a miracle punch until the final seconds of the tenth round. However, the local fighter’s movement and hand speed proved to be a puzzle the visitor could rarely solve throughout the contest.

At the end of the distance, the judges confirmed the new champion’s superiority with scorecards of 99–90, 99–90, and 96–93. With the victory, Rafael Lozano Jr. begins his professional journey with a 1–0 record and his first international title already on the shelf, proving that the Lozano name remains synonymous with success in the ring while he keeps his long-term goal of competing at the Los Angeles Olympic Games firmly in sight.

Sims Jr. most recently took a controversial loss at the hands of Oscar Duarte in August, while Barboza lost his WBO World Super Lightweight fight to Teofimo Lopez last May.

Both fighters look to get back to their winning ways in Anaheim, Calif., as former interim champion Barboza Jr. seeks another shot at a title while Sims Jr. looks to initiate another nine fight win streak in the Honda Center. Main event ring walks are set to commence at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT.

The stacked undercard puts the WBA, WBO and Ring minimumweight titles on the line when Oscar Collazo (13-0, 10 KOs) challenges Jesus Haro (13-3, 2 KOs) in the co-main event.

“The Cuban Assassin” Scores Devastating 1st Round Knockout to Remain Undefeated

MIAMI, FL (March 10, 2026) — Undefeated heavyweight slugger, Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo (10-0, 9 KOs) delivered another electrifying performance this past Saturday night, stopping Phillip Penson (8-6-3, 2 KOs) of Orlando, Florida, with a crushing first-round knockout in the 10-round main event of “Havoc at the Hilton 3” at the Hilton in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The action-packed event was promoted by Mike Sawyer Promotions.

From the opening bell, Trujillo, who is managed by Abe Swidan of Visionary Sports Group, imposed his will on the fight, pressing forward aggressively and forcing Penson onto the defensive. The powerful Cuban heavyweight wasted no time setting the tone, applying relentless pressure that left Penson struggling to find space or rhythm. Midway through the opening round, Trujillo landed a barrage of thunderous body shots that sent Penson crashing to the canvas. The damage proved too much, as Penson was unable to continue, giving Trujillo another emphatic knockout victory and sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The performance once again showed Trujillo’s explosive power and fan-friendly fighting style, giving credit to his reputation as one of the most dangerous heavyweights in the division.

Reflecting on his dominant victory, Trujillo spoke about the mindset he brought into the fight and his determination to deliver an exciting performance for the fans. “I came into this fight ready to send another message to the heavyweight division. When I step into the ring, I want people to feel my energy and see the power that I bring. I trained hard for this moment, and I knew if I stayed aggressive and applied pressure, the knockout would come. The heavyweight division is about excitement and action. Fans want to see fighters who are willing to go after it, and that’s exactly what I did. I’m grateful for the support and I’m just getting started.”

Trujillo remains deeply motivated by his roots and the legacy of Cuban fighters who paved the way before him. “I grew up watching great fighters from Cuba, and they inspired me to chase this dream. Every time I step in the ring, I’m fighting for my country and my people. I want the world to see how strong Cuban fighters are, especially in the heavyweight division. My goal is simple…I’m fighting to make Cuba the home of the first heavyweight world champion in our history.”

With another knockout added to his record, Trujillo believes the victory marks another important step forward in his rise through the heavyweight ranks. “Every fight is about proving that I belong among the best heavyweights in the world. This win keeps my momentum going and shows that I’m ready for bigger challenges. I’m building my name one fight at a time. Victories like this help open doors, and I’m focused on continuing to climb the rankings until I’m competing for a world title.”

The Cuban knockout artist is eager to remain active and continue his rapid ascent. “I want to get back in the ring as soon as possible. I feel strong, confident, and I want to stay busy this year. The more I fight, the sharper I become. I’m hungry for more opportunities and ready to keep showing fans what ‘The Cuban Assassin’ is all about.”

Ibrahim “Abe” Swidan, President of Visionary Sports Group, believes Trujillo’s latest performance confirmed what many in the boxing community are beginning to realize that the Cuban heavyweight has the potential to become a major star.

“Gustavo possesses a rare combination of athleticism, power, and discipline that you seldom see in the heavyweight division,” said Swidan. “What impressed me most in this performance was not just the knockout itself, but the composure and confidence he displayed while applying pressure. Cuba has produced some of the most technically gifted fighters in boxing history, and I firmly believe Gustavo has the ability to carry that legacy forward. After a performance like this, our focus is to move him up the rankings on a fast track and position him for increasingly meaningful fights. With his talent and work ethic, I truly believe he has the potential to become the next big star from Cuba.”

With another highlight-reel knockout on his résumé, Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo continues to build momentum as one of the heavyweight division’s most dangerous rising contenders. If his latest performance is any indication, the road ahead for the undefeated Cuban powerhouse could lead to very big stages in the near future.

Top Rank Signs Undefeated Lightweight Prospect Sammy Contreras

LAS VEGAS (March 9, 2026) — Sammy Contreras, a 14-time national amateur champion from Los Angeles, has signed a multi-year promotional contract with Top Rank.

The 21-year-old lightweight will return on Saturday, March 21, in a six-rounder against Cesar Cantu at the National Orange Show Event Center in San Bernardino, California.

Contreras (5-0, 2 KOs), whose parents are of Mexican, Salvadoran and Honduran heritage, began boxing at eight and compiled more than 200 amateur bouts, facing the likes of Abdullah Mason, Emiliano Fernando Vargas and Dedrick Crocklem. He represented the Mexican national team at the youth level in 2016 and El Salvador at the 2023 Pan American Games and the 2024 Olympic Qualifiers.

Contreras made his pro debut last May and went 4-0 with two knockouts in 2025. He kicked off the new year with a six-round unanimous decision against Nelson Hampton in January. He is trained and managed by his father, Sam Contreras, who has managed fighters such as Marlen Esparza and Ramon “El Inocente” Alvarez.

“Sammy Contreras is a talented young lightweight with the ability to go very far in this sport,” said Top Rank Chairman Bob Arum. “His future is limitless. He has ties to multiple communities, and that will allow him to connect with a wide range of fans. Los Angeles has produced many great fighters and champions, and we expect Sammy to carry on that tradition.”

“This moment means everything to me,” Contreras said. “All the hard work and sacrifice I’ve made every day have led me here with Top Rank. But this is only the beginning. I’m going to keep working, keep sacrificing, and continue proving that I belong here.”

Contreras joins a promotional banner that has played a pivotal role for Hispanic boxing. Aside from expanding the national audience for Mexican fighters, Top Rank also promoted trailblazers Carlos “El Famoso” Hernandez, who became the first Salvadoran-American world champion in 2003 when he defeated David Santos, and Teofimo Lopez, who stopped Richard Commey in 2019 to become the first Honduran-American world champion. Contreras now looks to contribute to this legacy as an American-born fighter who also represents his Salvadoran, Honduran, and Mexican heritage.

Leading World Cruiserweight Contender Ryan ‘The Bruiser’ Rozicki returns from 15-month layoff with another overpowering KO

SYDNEY, Nova Scotia, Canada (March 8, 2026) – Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (21-1-1, 20 KOs) is back as a legitimate force!

The explosive punching Canadian cruiserweight, currently ranked No. 1 by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and No. 5 by Ring Magazine, returned last night from a 15-month layoff in dominant fashion with a second-round technical knockout.

In the 31-year-old Rozicki’s dogged pursuit to become first Canadian-born Cruiserweight Champion of the World, he headlined against Gerardo Mellado (12-5, 7 KOs), of Chile, on a card presented by Rozicki’s promoter, Three Lions Promotions, in front of 1,200 fans at Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Rozicki hadn’t fought since December 7, 2024, largely due to a torn right bicep that he reinjured, along with several world title fights falling through as the WBC mandatory challenger. Naturally, he came out showing some rust, before he quickly settled in and went on to decimate his Chilian opponent.

In the second round, Rozicki floored Mellado and proceeded to close the show, trapping Mellado on the ropes, and unloading a barrage of powerful combination punches. Several vicious body shots took their toll and when a damaged Mellado went to canvas again, the referee waved off the fight.

TEAM ROZICKI POST-FIGHT CELEBRATION

“I felt good in there,” Rozicki said after his fight. “Took me a round to adjust but I am ready for the world title fights. If I could, I would fight again tomorrow. He (Mellado) was a lot tougher than I expected. He hit very hard. We had a great fight. I didn’t feel anything until he actually hit me, when I realized I was back in a fight again. It was 15 months since I’d been hit with a solid punch with a really fight glove on and without wearing headgear.

“I want to get right back in the ring. My target, right now, is (WBC Cruiserweight World Champion) Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs) for the WBC world title. He dodged fighting me five times. I’ve earned that shot and I would like to make it as soon as possible.”

Sydney-native Rozicki is now unbeaten in 8 fights in Sydney with 6 knockouts and 1 draw. He now sports an awesome 95.25% career knockout ratio.

“Ryan Rozicki reminded the world tonight exactly who he is,” Three Lions Promotions promoter Daniel Otter commented. “After everything he’s been through with injuries and setbacks, he came back and did what real punchers do; he ended the fight in two rounds. Ryan has made it very clear he wants Noel Mikaelian. That’s the fight we’ve been pushing for and the fight the fans deserve to see. If that opportunity comes, we’re ready.

“If Mikaelian isn’t available, we want the biggest fights in the cruiserweight division, whether that’s Jai Opetaia, Gilberto Ramirez, or anyone else holding a world title. Ryan Rozicki is one of the most dangerous fighters in boxing right now and the cruiserweight division is officially on notice.

“I’m also incredibly proud of the entire event. We lost two fights during fight week, but the fighters stepped up and the fans in Cape Breton showed incredible support. It was a great night for boxing, and Three Lions Promotions will be back in the coming months with our next event in Vancouver.”

In the co-featured event, contested at a 182-pound catchweight, Brandon Brewer (29-4-3, 12 KOs), former North American Boxing Association (NABA) and Canadian Super Middleweight Champion, cruised to an 8-round unanimous decision over Daniel Beaupre (6-3, 3 KOs).

Promising welterweight prospect Dylan Taylor (5-0, 4 KOs) remained undefeated, when Alex Nemeth (1-2-0), of Hungary, failed to answer the bell for the fourth round.

In a match between a pair of pro-debuting super welterweights, Sydney’s Thomas MacAuley (1-0, 1 KOs) thrilled his hometown fans, defeating Devin Turner (0-1) by way of a crowd-pleasing opening-round knockout.

MOST VALUABLE PROMOTIONS LAUNCHES MVPW, THE GLOBAL HOME OF WOMEN’S BOXING, AND SIGNS LANDMARK MULTI-YEAR MEDIA DEAL WITH ESPN

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – March 6, 2026 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced the launch of MVPW, a new global platform for women’s boxing, alongside a landmark multi-year agreement with ESPN as the U.S. home of MVPW events through 2028. With the gold “W” embedded directly within the MVP logo, MVPW signals that women’s boxing is a foundational pillar of the company’s long-term global strategy and is afforded the same platform and push as men’s boxing. Each event will be sequentially branded beginning with MVPW-01, establishing a clear, year-round schedule showcasing the sport’s most elite female fighters. The MVPW platform debuts with MVPW-01 on Sunday, April 5, in London, where Sky Sports will broadcast the event live in the United Kingdom and streaming live in the U.S. on the ESPN App as the first event under the new agreement. The platform makes its U.S. linear premiere on Friday, April 17 with MVPW-02, headlined by MVP’s unified super featherweight world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) vs. top contender Bo Mi Re Shin (19-3-3, 10 KOs) at Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. MVPW-03 will take place Saturday, May 30, in El Paso, Texas, headlined by MVP’s WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han (12-0, 3 KOs) vs. the most decorated two-sport athlete in combat sports history, Holly Holm (34-3-3, 9 KOs). The deal will deliver a mix of linear and streaming distribution, with the majority of events airing on ESPN’s linear channels, a significant milestone for women’s boxing and female sports.

The launch cements MVP’s position as the global home of women’s boxing and follows the company’s revolutionary multi-year investment into the sport, including record-setting global events, the signing and development of more than 40 female athletes, and the promotion of the most-watched, historic, and highest-grossing women’s boxing fights of all time. MVPW will showcase the sport’s most elite fighters in championship bouts on every card. Additional international broadcast partners will be announced soon.

MVPW-02, the inaugural U.S. event for MVPW, will take place live on ESPN on Friday, April 17 at Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, headlined by MVP’s unified super featherweight world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) vs. WBA #4, IBF #6, and WBO #7 contender Bo Mi Re Shin (19-3-3, 10 KOs). The bout will be contested over 10 three-minute rounds for the unified WBA, WBO, and IBF world titles at 130 lbs. In the co-main event, MVP’s unified super middleweight world champion Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (16-1, 11 KOs) will make a 10-round world title defense vs. IBF #2 and WBO #5 contender Lani Daniels (11-4-2, 1 KO) at 168lbs. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. MVPW also marks the beginning of a strategic relationship between MVP and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, with the organizations’ shared goal to stage annual MVPW events at the iconic venue over the next three years, positioning New York City as a cornerstone market for the new global property.

MVPW-03 will take place on Saturday, May 30 in El Paso, Texas, headlined by the highly-anticipated rematch between MVP’s WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han (12-0, 3 KOs) vs. the most decorated two-sport athlete in combat sports history, Holly Holm (34-3-3, 9 KOs) as the pair return to settle the score following an accidental clash of heads that resulted in a technical decision during their first meeting in January.

MVPW debuts with MVPW-01 on Sunday, April 5 from London, England streaming live in the U.S. on the ESPN App featuring Caroline Dubois vs. Terri Harper and Ellie Scotney vs. Mayelli Flores. Sky Sports will broadcast the event live in the United Kingdom.

“Since inception MVP has strategically focused on creating an umbrella brand as the global home for women’s boxing, with the best fighters in the world, that engages existing boxing fans and attracts untapped fan demographics that embrace women’s sport, and today, we proudly enter a new era,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. ”Over the past five years, we have invested heavily in female athletes, delivered historic and record-breaking events, and proven that these athletes belong on the biggest stages in the sport. Partnering with ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, to launch MVPW across its platforms is a historic milestone, and aligning with the world’s most iconic venue, Madison Square Garden, as we introduce the brand in the U.S. reinforces the scale and ambition behind what we are building.

“MVPW is the first boxing brand that truly features the best fighting the best on a consistent basis, and it begins in the US with one of the sport’s most electrifying champions, Alycia Baumgardner, facing top contender Bo Mi Re Shin on Friday, April 17 at Madison Square Garden, alongside unified champion Shadasia Green in the co-main event. Then on Saturday, May 30, Stephanie Han and Holly Holm will settle their rivalry in El Paso. All live on ESPN.”

“MVPW brings together some of the most accomplished and dynamic championship athletes in boxing, competing on a stage that reflects the magnitude of their talent,” said Rosalyn Durant, ESPN Executive Vice President, Programming & Acquisitions. “We’re proud to bring these championship matchups to ESPN and the ESPN App and further elevate women’s boxing for fans across the country.”

MVP’s unified 130lb world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner was born in Fremont, Ohio, is based in Dallas, Texas, and is of German, Korean, and African-American descent. She turned pro in 2017, then shocked the world in November 2021 by knocking out Terri Harper to win the WBC world title. She defeated Edith Matthysse and Mikaela Mayer to add the WBO and IBF belts to her collection, then became undisputed in February 2023, defeating Elhem Mekhaled for the WBA title. She defended her undisputed title in the co-main event of Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3, live on Netflix, before making a 12×3:00 unified world title defense vs. Leila Beaudoin in the co-main event of MVP’s Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day live on Netflix in December 2025–becoming just the second woman in boxing history to defend her unified world titles under equal rules to men’s champions.

“New York sets the tone for boxing’s biggest nights. Becoming undisputed there was monumental, and the fans have embraced me from the beginning,” said Alycia Baumgardner. “Every fight for me is about elevation; I’m here to dominate and continue building something that lasts beyond belts. ESPN is where greatness is documented, and I’m ready to perform at that level. This fight is also a special crossover: Two Korean fighters on this kind of stage is something fans don’t see often, and I’m proud to represent every part of who I am.”

South Korea’s Bo Mi Re Shin turned pro in 2016, and has since established herself as one of the leading talents in female boxing. Since 2022, Bo Mi Re Shin has fought in seven title fights. She has won the WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight title, the ?WBC International super featherweight title, and the WBA Asia lightweight title. She also challenged for the WBC lightweight world title against Caroline Dubois in March 2025, a narrow points decision for Dubois. She is currently the WBC #3, WBA #4, IBF #6, and WBO #7 contender.

“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to showcase my talents on such a big occasion in New York City,” said Bo Mi Re Shin. “This is the sort of dream fight that you always imagine. MSG, all those belts, a fierce competitor in Aylcia Baumgardner.  I’m going to make sure that I turn this opportunity into the most defining night of my life. I want to thank MVP for what they are doing for women’s boxing. The opportunities they are giving girls around the world to showcase their talents is unbelievable. I know I have a tough matchup, but I have every confidence that I will become the unified world champion. We’ve worked hard to get opportunities throughout my career, and now has come the time where I’ve jumped to a chance to capture multiple titles in one night. I won’t be denied. This is my time.”

MVP’s super middleweight powerhouse Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green makes her fourth straight world title fight appearance. Green, the former standout college basketball star and Team USA boxing silver medalist from Patterson, NJ, joined MVP in January 2023. Shortly after, Green defeated former unified world champion Elin Cederroos with a vicious sixth-round TKO, marking the first and only time Cederroos was ever stopped in her career. On Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November 2024, Green defeated Melinda Watpool to become MVP’s first homegrown champion and the WBO world champion at 168lbs, before putting on a career-best performance to defeat then-IBF and Ring Magazine titlist Savannah Marshall on MVP’s historic Taylor vs. Serrano 3, live on Netflix, becoming the new unified super middleweight world champion.

“I am so excited to be fighting again and defending my titles,” said Shadasia Green. “Beyond that, I’m excited to be fighting in NYC and excited to put on a beautiful performance and showcase my skill set on ESPN. This platform has been around for a long time showcasing some of the best fighters ever, and I’m really happy to be a part of it.”

Lani Daniels is a two-division world champion fighting out of Whang?rei, New Zealand. She began boxing at age 24, and had around 30 amateur fights, becoming a 2x national amateur champion before turning pro. She now enters her seventh consecutive world title fight since May 2023, when she claimed the vacant IBF heavyweight title with a win over Alrie Meleisea, defending it once before moving down to win the vacant IBF light heavyweight title vs. Desley Robinson. Following another successful defense, Daniels then went the distance against Claressa Shields for the undisputed heavyweight world championship in July 2025, and most recently contended for the IBF world title at light heavyweight against Sarah Scheurich.

“From the dusty roads of Pipiwai to the world stage — back to my roots with a new corner backing me. I’ve come too far not to go further,” said Lani Daniels. “Thank you, MVP. Now it’s time to show what this M?ori girl can do!”

MVP’s WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han is a proud Korean-American, El Paso native, devoted mother of two, an eight-year veteran of the El Paso Police Department, and beauty pageant competitor. She launched her amateur career in 2006 before stepping away from the sport in April 2011. A decade later, she returned to boxing after helping her sister, former world champion Jennifer Han, train to take on Katie Taylor. Han knocked out Hannah Terlep to win the vacant WBA lightweight world title in February 2025, successfully defended the title in her MVP debut in August 2025, and most recently earned a technical decision win against Holly Holm after an accidental head clash caused an early stop to the bout.

“Last time the fight ended early because of the cut,” said Stephanie Han. “I got the win, but not the closure. This time in my city, there will be no excuses, no “what ifs”, and no doubt who the better fighter is. I can’t wait to showcase my abilities to millions of fans on ESPN.”

MVP’s Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm is widely regarded as the most dominant two-sport athlete in combat sports history. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she made her pro boxing debut in 2002 and went on to become a three-division champion, a career that later earned her induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (Class of 2022). Holm pivoted into MMA in 2014, culminating in her headlining megafight against then-undefeated champion Ronda Rousey in November 2015, the most highly-attended UFC event in history at the time. Rousey was the overwhelming favorite going into the bout, but Holm landed a sensational second round knockout, handing Rousey her first loss. With the win, Holm became the first person to win championships in both boxing and MMA, and is currently rated Boxrec’s #2 greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all time. She signed with MVP in 2025 ahead of her return to boxing on Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and subsequent title challenge vs. WBA champion Stephanie Han, ruled a technical decision due to an accidental clash of heads.

“The rematch with Han is coming, and I’m ready for it,” said Holly Holm. “She’s a disciplined, tough champion, and I respect that. I’ll be putting in the work and I WILL be ready. I’m honored to headline on ESPN once again. It’s always special working with them.”

About Alycia Baumgardner

MVP’s reigning undisputed super featherweight world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner is one of the most electrifying superstars in boxing today and one of the most dominant athletes in the sport. Born in Fremont, Ohio, and of German, Korean, and African-American descent, she has built a career defined by power, precision, and resilience. Her success is fueled not only by her relentless work ethic but also by her deep faith, which guides her journey both in and out of the ring. Baumgardner turned pro in 2017, making an immediate impact with a first-round TKO victory. In November 2021, she shocked the boxing world by knocking out Terri Harper in Sheffield, England, to claim the WBC and IBO World Titles. She continued her rise, securing wins over Edith Matthysse and Mikaela Mayer in October 2022, adding the WBO and IBF belts to her collection. In February 2023, she became undisputed, defeating Elhem Mekhaled in New York to claim the WBA title. In July 2023, Baumgardner avenged her only career loss with a dominant win over Christina Linardatou in Detroit, successfully defending her undisputed crown. She returned in September 2024 against Delfine Persoon, scoring an early knockdown before an accidental clash of heads led to a no-contest ruling. Most recently, she successfully defended her undisputed title against Spain’s Jennifer Miranda in the co-main event of Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3, live on Netflix. Outside the ring, Baumgardner is breaking barriers for women, proving that skill, strength, and marketability can coexist at the highest level. Her faith remains at the center of everything she does, keeping her grounded and focused on the bigger picture. With an unshakable mindset and a purpose greater than herself, she continues to push the sport forward, building a legacy that extends far beyond the championship belts.

About Bo Mi Re Shin

Bo Mi Re Shin turned professional in 2016 and began her career by going 12 fights without defeat. From suffering her first defeat she bounced back with a win in 2021 and since then hasn’t looked back as she has established herself as one of the leading talents in female boxing. Since 2022, Bo Mi Re Shin has had 12 professional boxing bouts, seven of which have been title fights. She has won the WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight title, the ?WBC International super featherweight title, and the WBA Asia lightweight title. She also challenged for the WBC lightweight world title against Caroline Dubois in March 2025 at the world famous Royal Albert Hall in London, England. With 10 wins from her last 12 fights–and her only defeats coming from narrow points decisions against champions Delfine Persoon (split decision), and Caroline Dubois (majority decision) in London–Bo has proven she deserves her place at the top table alongside the champions. In 2025, Bo was ranked in the top 5 by the four governing bodies, and is currently the WBC #3, WBA #4, IBF #6, and WBO #7 contender.

About Shadasia Green

MVP’s super middleweight powerhouse Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green, the former standout college basketball star and Team USA boxing silver medalist, joined MVP in January 2023 after a trailblazing start to her professional career. Shortly after, Green defeated the former unified world champion Elin Cederroos with a vicious sixth-round TKO, marking the first and only time Cederroos was ever stopped in her career. Green’s bout against Olivia Curry in August 2023 led to a resounding unanimous decision victory as part of the Paul-Diaz undercard. Green rose to #1 ranking in the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF ahead of her women’s championship fight against former undisputed and now-WBC super middleweight champion Franchon-Crews Dezurn for the WBC world and WBA Interim titles. The bout resulted in a disappointing decision loss for Green, who returned to the ring in July 2024 to prove her status as a title contender, earning a unanimous decision win over Canada’s Natasha Spence. Following her win, the Patterson, NJ native Green once again rose to the WBO’s #1 contender at super middleweight. Headlining the preliminary card of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November 2024, Green earned her second shot at a world title, this time for the WBO super middleweight championship against Melinda Watpool. Green earned a decision win in the bout, becoming MVP’s first homegrown champion and the new WBO world champion at 168 lbs. She then entered the biggest fight of her career, unification vs. then-IBF and Ring titlist Savannah Marshall on the main card of MVP’s Taylor vs. Serrano 3 historic record-setting all-women’s card. Green had a career-best performance against Marshall, defying the odds to win by decision and earning MVP’s $250,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

About Stephanie Han

MVP’s undefeated WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han is a proud Korean-American and El Paso, Texas native. She has elevated her boxing career to new heights while juggling the roles of devoted mother of two, including her special needs daughter with Nicolaides-Baraitser Syndrome, serving as an eight-year veteran of the El Paso Police Department, and beauty pageant competitor for Miss Sun City and Miss Texas. She launched her amateur boxing journey in July 2006, compiling a winning record before stepping away from the sport in April 2011. A decade later, she returned to boxing after helping her sister, former IBF featherweight world champion Jennifer Han, train to take on Katie Taylor. She made a powerful return to the ring in October 2021 with a unanimous decision win over Isabel Garcia. Remaining undefeated, Han quickly rose through the ranks, most recently delivering a dominant knockout victory over Hannah Terlep to claim the vacant WBA lightweight world title. In her MVP debut in August 2025, Han successfully defended her title against Colombia’s Paulina Angel. As she continues her career under the MVP banner, Han plans to continue establishing herself as one of the premier forces in women’s lightweight boxing.

About Holly Holm

MVP’s Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm s widely regarded as the most dominant two-sport athlete in combat sports history. A pioneer in women’s boxing and a trailblazer in MMA, Holm is the only fighter to hold world titles in both disciplines, cementing her legacy as a generational talent and global icon. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Holm won the IKF national amateur championship title in 2001 before making her pro boxing debut in January 2002, winning by TKO. Holm won her first title, the IBA super lightweight crown, in December 2004. After three successful title defenses, she moved up to 147 lbs and secured the WBA welterweight title in June 2006. In June 2008, Holm stepped up to 154lbs in the super welterweight division to win the IBA and WBAN super welterweight titles. In December 2011, Holm was defeated by Anne Sophie Mathis for the vacant IBA female and WBAN welterweight titles. Holm faced Mathis in a rematch in June 2012, avenging the loss with a UD victory to add the WBF, IBA, and WBAN titles to her collection. Holm then moved back down to the super lightweight division to win the vacant WBF and IBA titles. In May 2013, Holm cemented her legacy as she defended the WBF and IBA super lightweight titles against Mary McGee. Holm pivoted into MMA in 2014, signing a multifight deal with the UFC. Her MMA career culminated in her headlining megafight against then-undefeated bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in November 2015, the most highly attended UFC event in history at the time. Rousey was the overwhelming favorite going into the bout, but Holm leveraged her southpaw stance and boxing skill to control the opening round before landing a sensational knockout in the second round—and handing Rousey her first loss. As she earned the title, Holm became the first person to win championships in both boxing and MMA. She is currently ranked Boxrec’s #2 greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all time and remains the most dominant two-sport athlete of all time. After signing with MVP in May 2025, she faced then-undefeated Yolanda Vega on the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. card in June 2025, winning by unanimous decision. She will now make her 24th world title fight appearance, almost thirteen years after her last title reign, as she contends for the WBA lightweight title against Stephanie Han.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Griffith now trains and resides in Denver, Colorado. The talented junior middleweight enters this next chapter of his career with an impressive professional record of 7-0, following an accomplished amateur career that included more than 80 fights.

Griffith joins a strong Wise Owl Boxing stable that already features some of the most highly regarded fighters in the 154-pound division, including WBC #11 contender Charles Conwell and WBO #1 / WBC #2 ranked Brandon “The Cannon” Adams. The management company also represents several Olympic-level athletes, continuing to build a reputation for developing world-class talent.

“Ebenezer is the type of fighter who is going to frustrate a lot of opponents,” said Habibi. “He’s extremely athletic, in phenomenal shape, and his greatest weapon is his mind. He’s one of the sharpest fighters I’ve met. His ring IQ is exceptional, and I believe that will give him a major competitive advantage as he continues to climb the rankings.”

Outside the ring, Griffith’s talents extend far beyond boxing. Habibi describes him as a true renaissance man.

World-Ranked Light Heavyweight Najee Lopez Battles Mexican Strongman Manuel Gallegos in Main Event from Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, on Fri., March 13 & Live on ProBoxTV

On Friday, March 13, ProBoxTV returns to Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, for another action-packed installment of “The Contender Series,” (7:00 pm EST). In the 10-round main event, ProBoxTV alumnus and fast-rising WBA #7-, IBF #13-, and WBC #15-ranked light heavyweight Najee Lopez (15-0, 12 KOs) of Ellenwood, Georgia, takes on top Mexican contender Manuel Gallegos (22-3-1, 19 KOs) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

“Najee is a special talent, a very athletic light heavyweight,” said ProBoxTV Founder and CEO, Garry Jonas. “With his speed and power, we think he’s the future of the division. With him facing Gallegos, this is a rare Puerto Rico vs. Mexico matchup in the higher weight divisions. Najee’s whole family is from the Island and he’s very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. This will be a super fun, high-energy fight for the fans. Najee is an entertaining action fighter rounding into championship form and this excellent test will continue his development. I can’t wait.”

In other series action, undefeated Dominic Valle (12-0, 7 KOs) of Lutz, Florida, will face his toughest test yet against battle-hardened veteran Eduardo “Zurdito” Ramirez (29-5-3, 14 KOs) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, in the 10-round super featherweight co-feature.

“It’s nice to see Dominic Valle stepping up to 10 rounds,” continued Jonas. “He’s no longer a prospect; he’s stepping up to being an early-stage contender and continuing to develop into what we think will be a force in the division. He’s freakishly large and has a great motor. I’m excited he’s stepping up and it won’t be long before he’s at the top of the rankings.”

Tickets for The Contender Series at Osceola Heritage Park start at $68.70 (plus applicable taxes) and are available through Ticketmaster.

Also featured will be unbeaten light heavyweight Dante Benjamin (13-0-1, 9 KOs) of Cleveland against Pomona, California’s also undefeated Angel Lozano (8-0, 6 KOs).

Opening the 50/50 action will be a full slate of ProBoxTV’s Future Stars Series prospects, featuring super welterweight Jeovanny Estela (14-2, 5 KOs) defending his home turf against Asuncion, Paraguay-based slugger Jorge Rodrigo Sosa (8-14, 8 KOs), plus homegrown super bantamweight prospect Kenyan Valle (2-0, 1 KO) facing Anel Dudo (4-6-1, 1 KO) of Aurora, Colorado via Sarajevo, Bosnia And Herzegovina. International bantamweight knockout artist Christian Chessa (6-0, 6 KOs) and Florida-based prospect Miguel Paredes will also appear in separate fights.

Considered one of the most promising young warriors in boxing, Najee Lopez is one of ProBoxTV’s brightest stars, having never appeared anywhere but on ProBox air as a professional.

Lopez started boxing at the age of six and began training under his father, Tito Lopez Sr. He went on to compete in 140 amateur bouts, winning two US amateur championships and numerous medals, including gold medals at the 2015 National Junior Olympics and the 2019 Olympic National Qualifiers, where he also received the Outstanding Boxer Award.

Lopez turned pro in 2021 and has taken the fistic hard way to the top. The 26-year-old has never fought outside the ProBox TV promotional banner, meaning he has survived several 50-50 matchups. Known for his speed, power and ability in the ring, Lopez won the WBA Continental North America Light Heavyweight Championship with a TKO 5 over Kalvin Henderson in September 2025. He had previously won the WBA Continental North America Light Heavyweight Championship with a TKO 6 over Gilbert Castillo Rivera in January of this year. Lopez lost his “guiding light,” his father Tito Lopez, on December 12, 2020, at age 54, leaving Najee and brothers Hakim and Casey to navigate as pros without his instruction.

Gallegos is an 11-year veteran who has already faced many of the top names in the division and established himself as a fearsome gatekeeper. He will surely push Lopez to his limits during fierce combat.

After debuting in 2014, Gallegos went undefeated in first 17 pro fights, all held in Mexico. In February 2023, Gallegos made his ProBoxTV debut by fighting to a majority 10-round draw with fellow prospect Richard Vansiclen (then 13-0) at the Whitesands Events Center in Plant City, Florida. Two judges had it a draw, one scored it for Gallegos. In July of that same year, Gallegos suffered a TKO 4 loss when he was dropped and stopped by elite top contender Diego Pacheco for the WBC USA & WBO International Super Middleweight Championships.

Gallegos then moved up in weight and split a pair of fights with highly touted prospect Khalil Coe, stopping Coe and taking his undefeated 0 in November 2024 for the WBC USA Light Heavyweight Championship, and then being stopped in six rounds by Coe in their May 2025 rematch for the same title. Gallegos was last seen Mexican journeyman Cesar Chavez in two rounds last December.

Before turning professional in 2021, Dominic Valle won the 2016 National Silver Gloves, as well as the 2018 National Junior Olympics, and finished with an amateur record of 43-3. A father, husband and one of three fighting brothers (including older brother Marques and younger brother Kenyan), Valle is a proud Puerto, who is coached by Marc Farrait and trains in Lutz, Florida, alongside ProBoxTV stars Najee Lopez, Darrelle Valsaint.

Remarkably, in his spare time, Valle models for celebrity brands such as Michael Jordan, as well as major companies like Adidas, Nike, ASOS and Calvin Klein. Valle will be making his 13th consecutive appearance on ProBoxTV air against Dudo on March 13. Notable highlights of his professional career include a KO 2 over (1:33) over Jenel Lausa (then 11-1-1) in December 2023. He then returned to the same site for a second-round stoppage over Angel Vazquez Lupercio (then 12-1) in April 2024. A confessed boxer/puncher, Valle was last seen in November of last year, scoring an eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Rene Alvardo at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida.

Osceola Heritage Park is located at 1875 Silver Spur Ln, in Kissimmee. PH: Phone: (321) 697-3333. On fight night, the action starts at 6 pm EST.
