A huge night of Championship boxing is locked in at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Saturday, September 19 – live worldwide on DAZN – as Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing today announced an exciting undercard, featuring Shabaz Masoud.

John Hedges and Pat Brown headline at the state-of-the-art venue when the two undefeated rivals collide for the vacant British and Commonwealth Cruiserweight Titles.

And the unbeaten ‘Maverick’ Masoud moves up a weight division as he challenges Argentina’s Ckari Mansilla (19-4, 13 KOs) for the vacant IBF Intercontinental and WBA International Titles.

The Stoke-on-Trent star was sensational in his last outing back in December last year when he overcame Peter McGrail for the European Super Bantamweight crown with a classy, unanimous points victory.

Now the 15-0, 4 KOs, fighter – who is trained by Ben Davison – is looking to rise up the rankings and challenge for honours in the 126lbs division.

Another fighter looking to make his mark at a bigger weight division is Northampton’s Kieron Conway.

Conway (23-4-1, 7 KOs) returns to the ring for the first time since last October when he bravely surrendered his British and Commonwealth titles in a stoppage defeat by George Liddard at York Hall.

But he is bidding to campaign for the prestigious Lonsdale belt once more at Super Middleweight when he steps up to challenge former English Super Middleweight ruler Mark Jeffers in a British title eliminator. 

The ‘Wigan Warrior’ Joe Howarth (15-2, 4 KOs), in his first fight since February, is back too as he takes on Lancashire’s undefeated Josh Holmes (18-0, 7 KOs). 

Manchester’s own Alfie Middlemiss – trained by Jamie Moore – looks to extend his impressive start to life as a professional when the 23-year-old 6-0 charge faces Ireland’s ’Short Fuse’ Featherweight Gerard Hughes (6-1-1).

Another local lad in Lancashire’s Tom Rafferty (187-0, 7 KOs) is out to ensure he maintains his 100 per cent record too when the Middleweight prospect takes on Ireland’s ‘Kingdom Kid’ Liam Walsh (9-1-2, 4 KOs).

And exciting Welsh youngster Garan Croft, who trains out of former World Champion Anthony ‘Million Dollar’ Crolla’s Manchester gym, joins the card as the 6-0, 2 KOs Middleweight hopeful bid to continue his flourishing career with his seventh career victory.

A CLASSIC FEATHERWEIGHT confrontation tops the bill when Queensberry return to Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live on Saturday 26 September, when Liam Davies takes up the challenge of Nathaniel Collins, live on DAZN.

It is England vs Scotland in the boxing ring, with Davies – the current European and WBO Intercontinental champion, trades blows with Glasgow’s ‘The Nightmare’ Collins, the former British, Commonwealth and WBC Silver champion.

Also on the card, middleweight Nathan ‘Hitman’ Heaney (19-2-1, 6 KOs) – along with his army of fans from the Potteries – will run it back with Gerome Warburton (17-2-2, 2 KOs) in what will be his farewell fight before retirement, after the Stoke favourite was outpointed by the Welshman back in March.

Olympian Luke McCormack (5-0, 3 KOs), fresh from his first 10-round super lightweight triumph over Kane Gardner in February, goes up against the deadly Kay Prospere (16-2-1, 7 KOs).

Also at featherweight, the Morecambe starlet Nelson Birchall (11-0, 8 KOs) faces Gully Powar (13-1-1, 1 KO), who fought to a draw in a British title clash with Rhys Edwards in April. Birchall, just 21, became English champion in March with a ninth-round stoppage of Ryan Griffiths.

Davies (18-1-0, 9 KOs) is establishing himself as a featherweight force after stepping up from super bantamweight, where he became IBO world champion, and won the European, British, WBC and WBO International titles.

Southpaw Collins (17-1-1, 8 KOs) will be determined to bounce back in a major fight following his first professional defeat in April against European champion Cristobal Lorente in Glasgow. That fight was a rematch of a drawn encounter in October 2025 and doubled as a final eliminator for the WBC world title.

Collins ultimately came off second best via a split decision but can put himself right back in the world title frame with a victory in Birmingham.

“There will be absolutely no quarter given in this first clutch of fights we are announcing for Birmingham on Saturday 26 September,” said promoter Frank Warren. It really can’t get much better at featherweight than Liam Davies being matched with Nathaniel Collins.

“Both have got strong world title ambitions and a fight of this quality will allow one of them to issue a massive statement of intent. Liam and Nathaniel are both all-action fighters and both possess the power to close the show at any moment.

“I believe we will witness a true England vs Scotland classic.

LAS VEGAS — There were only a couple of draws and lots of controversy for Lamont Roach Jr. last year

This year, there’s only a loss and no controversy.

William Zepeda (33-2, 27 KOs), an incoming missile throughout 12 rounds, eliminated any possibility that Roach (25-2-3, 10 KOs)would emerge with a career-correcting victory and a title Saturday night at Virgin Hotel in a TNT/DAZN opener to a monthly series.

On a night with open scoring, Zepeda managed to shut the door on Roach early and often, winning the World Boxing Council’s vacant lightweight title with a unanimous decision — 117-111, 118-110 and 117-111. 

Through the first four rounds, the left-handed Zepeda did what he was expected to. The popular Mexican moved forward, incoming almost in a straight line. Quickly, Roach found himself  on his back foot, often scrambling to find ways to slow Zepeda’s advance.

In the second round, he threw quick combinations. In the third, he tried to target Zepeda’s body. In the fourth, he retreated into a defensive posture, both gloved hands surrounding his face like castle walls.

Still, Zepeda moved forward, scoring with punches and aggressiveness. In a bout with open scoring, Zepeda led narrowly through the first four.

A Roach expectation — perhaps prayer — is that Zepeda would tire some time after the sixth. Then, the plan was for him to use all of the different weapons in his varied skill set. But there was no sign of fatigue apparent in Zepada’s march forward in the seventh and eighth. After eight, Zepeda continued to hold a narrow lead in the open scoring. 

Roach, a Washington DC fighter seeking a second dtile at a second weight,  still had a chance. But there was no chance of Zepeda slowing down. Not this time. He sustained his furious pace, throwing multiple punches — uppercuts, hooks, the kitchen sink — with every step toward his target. 

For Roach, there was no shelter

No title either.

Muratalla scores dominant decision

Raymond Muratalla had options. He still does, perhaps one or two morethan he had a few days ago.

In a business-like bout, Muratalla checked all the boxes with a thorough decision over aging contender Robson Conceicao Saturday night at Las Vegas’ Virgin Hotel.

Muratalla, still the International Boxing Federation’s lightweight champion, kept himself in the hunt for a shot at a unified title, perhaps the World Boxing Council belt that was at stake in Saturday’s  next bout, Lamont Roach-versus-William Zepeda.

More significant,perhaps, he stayed unbeaten, extending his record to 25-0, with 17 KOs). That’s a resume good enough to get some attention in the pound-for-pound neighborhood.

A lot of that was expected, of course. He was a 14-to-1 favorite, one- sided odds that explain why he wasn’t in the main event. He didn’t;t get a knockout or even a knockdown. Still, he was dominant.

Early on, it was evident that Muratalla was the better fighter. He moved forward, his feet moving in a tireless dance all the while. He was setting the pace, aggressively throwing jabs in an apparent effort to test Conceicao’s stamina. The Brazilian is 37. He’ll be 38 in October.

In the fifth and sixth rounds, it looked as if the younger man’s tactics might be working. Conceicao dropped his hands, first to his waist and then down to his hips. It was an invitation for the 29-year-old Muratalla to attack And he did. 

But that’s when Conceicao (21-4-1, 10 KOs) found some life in his legs. He began a sideway shuffle — a step left, two or three steps to the right and a short hop backwards. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to deflect some of the dangerous power headed his way. In the end, however, it was only a way to survive. Only Muratalla would thrive.

Crazy Cards: Curiel wins decision

It was supposed to be a fight fit for television.

But there was more reason to nap than watch Raul Curiel beat Quintin Randall  in a junior-middleweight fight on a Lamont Roach-William Zepeda card that was the first in a monthly TNT-DAZN series.

Curiel (18-0-1, 14) did more, just  enough to win a narrow decision that was a so-called majority, yet all over the place in terms of scores. On one card, it was 97-93 for Curiel. On another, it was 100-90, also for Curiel.  On the third, it was 95-95. Nowhere was a card that made much sense.

Curiel, of Mexico, was more active. Randall (17-4-1), of Houston, was more elusive. Neither was dominant.  

Charles Conwell back with victory

It was dull.

Also predictable.

For Charles Conwell, it had to be.

In Conwell’s first fight in 16 months, the 2016 Olympian (22-1, 17)  needed a victory and he got one Saturday, employing superior speed that kept Paul Kroll (12-1-2. 8 KOs), a Philadelphia junior-middleweight, on his back foot and into a retreat that finally ended with no counter or energy on the Lamont Roach-William Zepeda card at Las Vegas’ Virgin Hotel..

With Kroll defenseless and on the ropes, it  ended in the ninth round, Conwell a winner by TKO in his first fight since a loss in April 2025.

Prospect Dylan Capetillo stopped in stunner

Danger is written into a prospect’s job definition.

How much danger?

Dylan Capetillo, a much hyped 17-year-old from Las Vegas, found out Saturday in a stunner Saturday on the card featuring Lamont Roach-William Zepeda at Vegas’ Virgin Hotel.

It struck hard and fast, a lightning bolt that left Capetillo with his first loss in only three fights. It was delivered by Juan Becerril, a Mexican who also has only three fights yet threw a left hand with all of the authority of a tested veteran.

Becerril (3-0, 2 KOs), knocked down in the second, floored Capetillo (2-1, 1 KO) in  the third. It lifted Capetillo up and onto the canvas with a crash. The back of his head landed hard. He got up. But the referee had seen enough. He ended it at 48 seconds of the round, a hot prospect no more. 

Joel Iriarte stay unbeaten with 8th-round stoppage

Joel Iriarte employed advantages in size and strength to walk down, wear down Jorge Lagunas, who was still on his feet yet unable to offer punch resistance when the welterweight fight was stopped in the eighth round of the fourth bout Saturday on a card featuring Roach-Zepeda at Vegas’ Virgin Hotel.

Lagunas (19-10, 16 KOs), of Mexico, was unhappy at the stoppage, a decision made by ringside physicians. He walked around the ring, throwing his hands in the air as if to say he wanted to continue. For that, he got applause, but not much else.

Iriarte, of Bakersfield CA, stayed unbeaten (11-0, 10 KOs) and retained a fringe welterweight belt.

Fabian Guzman rocks and rolls to dominant decision

Fabian Guzman threw more punches. They landed with more precision. And with more power.

In the end, Guzman (11-0, 7 KOs), a middleweight from Southern California, simply had  more of everything, all enough to score a unanimous decision over Aaron Coley (17-6-2, 7 KOs), of Oakland, in the third bout on the Roach-Zepeda card Saturday at Vegas’ Virgin Hotel

Gael Cabrera stays unbeaten with dominant decision

Gael Cabrera calls himself Terror.

Terror is what he delivered.

For eight rounds, Cabrera (12-0, 7 KOs), a junior-featherweight prospect from Mexico, scored at will with punches from every possible angle Saturday in the second bout on the Lamont Roach-William Zepeda card at Vegas’ Virgin Hotel.

For an overmatched Francisco Portillo (20-15, 2 KOs), there was nowhere to hide. There was no counter either in a scorecard shutout put together by the dominant Cabrera, a Golden Boy Promotions fighter.

First Bell: Dalis Kaleiopu says Aloha with first-round stoppage

Aloha means hello. 

Means goodbye.

Dalis Kaleiopu delivered both sides of the Hawaiian greeting, saying Hello to the Mainland and then Goodbye to Yeyery Castillo for a stunning first-round stoppage in a knockout opener Saturday to a card featuring Lamont Roach Jr.-versus-William.Zepeda at Virgin Hotel.

Castillo (14-3, 11 KOs), a lightweight from Philadelphia, never had a chance against Kaleiopu, who grew up in Waianae on the leeward side of Oahu, a cultural home for Hawaiian history. There’s power in that heritage. Kaleiopu (9-0, &KOs) displayed it, scoring a first-round stoppage for the third straight time. 

Sean McComb won a six-round decision over Cesar Antin in a junior welterweight fight.

McComb, 142.7 lbs of Belfast, NI won by a 60-54 score and is now 22-2. Antin, 141.4 lbs of Argentina is 20-23-1.

Machlan Arthur stopped Ryan Frost in the fourth and final round of their welterweight bout.

In round one, Arthur landed a left to the body that put Frost down.

Seconds into round four, Arthur dropped Frost again with a left hand. Arthur scored a third knockdown with a left hand hand the fight was stopped at 1:05.

Arthur, 147.8 lbs of Edinberg, SCO is 2-0 with two knockouts. Arthur is the son of former WBO Interim Super Featherweight champion Alex Arthur.

LOS ANGELES –Jas Mathur, Chief Executive Officer of Manny Pacquiao Promotions, has filed a bombshell lawsuit in California Superior Court against Jona Rechnitz, the former business manager to boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Rechnitz’s father, Robert Rechnitz. The complaint accuses the father-son duo of orchestrating a systematic and deliberate scheme of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of a prior settlement agreement, conversion of assets, and theft that spanned nearly a decade. Mathur is seeking recovery of damages in excess of $8.3 million, together with punitive damages, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, and reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

Mathur is represented by Jeff Chemerinsky and Andrew Choi of the nationally recognized law firm Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP.

According to the complaint, Rechnitz ran a calculated and relentless playbook of lies, broken promises, and outright theft, siphoning millions of dollars in cash, luxury assets, and business opportunities from Mathur while serving as his trusted fiduciary.

A Convicted Felon with a Documented History of Betrayal

Rechnitz is no stranger to scandal. In 2016, he pleaded guilty to federal bribery charges tied to one of the largest corruption scandals in the history of the New York Police Department, a conviction the complaint alleges foreshadowed the very playbook he would later run on Mathur.

The fraudulent conduct at issue in this litigation closely mirrors Rechnitz’s prior criminal activity, exposing a calculated modus operandi built on exploiting the trust of business associates.

A Decade of Deception, and a Broken Promise to Make It Right

The complaint alleges that Rechnitz’s pattern of defrauding Mathur dates back to at least 2019. Following an earlier series of disputes between the two men, Rechnitz signed a formal settlement agreement intended to fully and finally resolve every outstanding claim, only to breach that very agreement and abandon his obligations under it. In the interim, the complaint alleges, Rechnitz helped himself to additional luxury assets, including the watches detailed below, from Mathur under false pretenses, in violation of both the settlement agreement and his fiduciary duties.

Stolen Timepieces and a Pattern of Pawning

Among the most brazen acts detailed in the complaint, Rechnitz allegedly used a blank check signed by Floyd Mayweather Jr. to walk off with luxury timepieces belonging to Mathur. Rechnitz claimed five high-value watches were being purchased on Mayweather’s behalf, then pawned the items outright, later admitting in writing that Mayweather never authorized the check. Mathur has since learned that Rechnitz pawned the watches to cover his own separate, unrelated debts to Mayweather, and has confirmed with other jewelers that Rechnitz ran the identical scheme on them, taking their merchandise under the same false pretense before pawning it for his own benefit. The pattern corroborates a wider scheme of fraud extending well beyond this case, and closely parallels allegations Mayweather himself is now pursuing against Rechnitz in a separate lawsuit filed in May 2026 seeking recovery of approximately $175 million.

Real Money, Real Accounts, Broken Promises

The complaint also details representations Rechnitz made about funds he claimed were on their way to Mathur from a separate trust account. Rechnitz showed Mathur real Bank of America statements for the trust and, on multiple occasions, logged into the account directly in front of him. The trustee of the account was Alexander Seligson, a New York-based individual separately named in Mayweather’s pending lawsuit against Rechnitz. Time and again, Rechnitz promised the funds were being arranged for transfer, citing trips back and forth to New York to get it done, but the payday never came.

Retaliation: Coming After Mathur’s Ferrari

When Mathur demanded to be paid, the complaint alleges Rechnitz turned vindictive, targeting the one asset guaranteed to hurt. According to the complaint, Rechnitz intentionally directed a commercial lender to seize and liquidate Mathur’s $1 million Ferrari, a calculated act of retaliation for Mathur simply demanding what he was owed.

Robert Rechnitz: Not a Bystander, But a Player

The complaint alleges that Robert Rechnitz, Jona’s father, was no passive guarantor sitting on the sidelines; he was an active, hands-on participant in the scheme, and is named as a defendant in the lawsuit. According to the complaint, Robert Rechnitz personally telephoned Mathur to commit to specific dates on which Jona would make payment. He further inserted himself directly into the transaction, representing to Mathur that funds owed to him were being released through a real estate developer in New York, personally guaranteeing those funds, and asking Mathur to be patient for a matter of days while the funds were secured. That personal guarantee, like everything else Rechnitz promised, ultimately proved worthless.

Frist Apex Ventures: Rechnitz’s Personal Piggy Bank

The complaint also names Ayal Frist and his entity, Frist Apex Ventures, as central to the scheme. According to the complaint, Frist Apex Ventures served as Mayweather’s loan-out entity and appears on Mayweather’s fight agreements, including those connected to the Tyson and Pacquiao fight disputes. The complaint alleges that the funds owed to Mathur under the breached settlement agreement were funneled through Frist Apex Ventures, as were monies designated for the fights themselves, with Rechnitz treating Frist and Frist Apex Ventures as his own personal bank account and financial conduit. The complaint further alleges this was nothing new: Rechnitz previously ran the same play through similar entities, including Levin Prado and TYH 26 LLC.

Collateral Damage: A Superfight Sidelined

The legal fallout from Rechnitz’s alleged conduct has already claimed a high-profile casualty. The eagerly anticipated rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., originally scheduled for September 2026, has been postponed indefinitely amid the mounting legal and financial disputes triggered by Rechnitz’s misconduct.

Mathur has also gone public with additional allegations of financial misconduct tied to the rematch. In an interview on the YouTube program “Inside The Ring,” Mathur stated that Rechnitz double-sold rights to the fight to two separate parties, pocketing payment from both, and separately siphoned off an advance on Mayweather’s fight purse from a third-party lender.

**YOENLI HERNANDEZ VS. FRANCISCO DANIEL VERON**

The number one-ranked WBA and WBO, plus number two-ranked WBC contender, Yoenli Hernandez will look to continue to show his star ability in a 10-round showdown against the veteran slugger Francisco Daniel Veron that serves as the co-main event on August 22.

Hernandez (10-0, 9 KOs) is yet another in a long line of sensational amateur fighters to come from the Cuban program, with his long resume before turning pro featuring a 2021 gold medal at AIBA World Boxing Championships. Originally from Camaguey, Cuba and now fighting out of Providence, Rhode Island, Hernandez turned pro in May 2022 with a pair of stoppage victories and continued to dominate his competition as he rose up the rankings. The 29-year-old scored three victories in 2025, including a shutout unanimous decision over top contender Kyrone Davis in May of that year. Most recently, Hernandez turned away his most experienced opponent to date, earning a fourth-round TKO of U.S. Olympian and title challenger Terrell Gausha in March.

“I’m preparing very hard for this fight, because I know that I have an extremely tough opponent in front of me,” said Hernandez. “I have to continue to train that hard fight after fight and prove to everyone what I’m capable of. Prior to that Veron had turned away tough veteran contenders Roiman Villa and Vladimir Hernandez in 2025, beating both by unanimous decision. A native of Villa Libertador, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Veron also owns a draw against middleweight contender Jahi Tucker. He will be making his Las Vegas debut on August 22, with the only other blemish on his record coming via a close decision loss to longtime top contender Brandon Adams in 2024.

**VICTOR SANTILLAN VS. ANTONIO RUSSELL**

In a matchup of two top contenders at 122 pounds, Victor Santillan and Antonio Russell will look to show their championship mettle in a 12-round matchup as Santillan defends his Interim WBA Super Bantamweight Title for the first time.

A native of La Romana, Dominican Republic, Santillan (16-2, 7 KOs) picked up his interim title in February by stopped Noel Reyes Cepeda in the third round. The triumph made it back-to-back wins for Santillan, who’s only two defeats have come via decision on the road against top Japanese contenders. A pro since 2018, Santillan won the bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games, amongst his amateur accolades. The 30-year-old began his career with 13-straight wins and will return to fight stateside for the third time as a pro.

“It is an honor for me to be defending my title against Antonio Russell,” said Santillan. “He is a good boxer who comes from a family of good fighters. I love this fight because the real winners are going to be the fans. We’re gonna put on a show.”

Part of one of the sport’s most renowned fighting families, Russell (21-1, 13 KOs) will look to pick up his first belt at 122 pounds and join his brothers as champions alongside Gary Antuanne (WBA Super Lightweight World Champion) and his lead trainer Gary Jr. (former WBC Featherweight World Champion). The 33-year-old previously fought to the top of the 118-pound division, but came up short in his most notable fight, an October 2022 matchup against former champion Emmanuel Rodriguez. The Capitol Heights, Maryland-native does own a technical decision victory over former world champion Juan Carlos Payano in December 2020 and has won back-to-back fights at 122-pounds, including most recently besting Dervin Rodriguez by unanimous decision last August.

**CARLOS UTRIA VS. ISRAEL MERCADO**

One of boxing’s most acclaimed prospects the undefeated Carlos Utria will look to make his U.S. debut in style, as he takes on tough contender Israel Mercado in the 10-round super lightweight opening attraction.

The 22-year-old Utria (14-0, 11 KOs) most recently emerged victorious in the WBC Boxing Grand Prix and earning a top 10 ranking at 140-pounds, and more. The five-victory run culminated in a unanimous decision over Mujimillo Tursunov in December, with his championship-winning run leading to him being named Boxing Scene’s 2025 Prospect of the Year. A native of Soplaviento, Colombia, Utria has fought professionally since 2023 and will look to continue his momentum stateside.

“I’m facing a strong opponent who’s coming to win,” said Utria. “That’s the perfect opponent for my U.S. debut. We’re prepared for whatever comes and ready to put on a dominating performance for everyone watching.”

A native of Pomona, California, Mercado (13-1-2, 7 KOs) is unbeaten in last six outings, with four wins a two draws in that span. Mercado has faced four unbeaten fighters in his career, with two wins, a draw and a decision to defeat to Arthur Biyarslanov in 2024 amongst that run. Mercado was won each of his last two outings, with decision victories over Jonathan Jose Eniz in April 2025 and Branden Pizarro in June 2025.

July 30, 2026 – Zuffa Boxing announced today that it has signed London-born amateur standout Kayla Allen to a long-term promotional agreement. The 21-year-old will campaign as a lightweight and make her professional debut on Saturday, September 26, at London’s Copper Box Arena on the undercard of ZUFFA BOXING 11, headlined by heavyweight star Johnny Fisher. 

ZUFFA BOXING 11 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.

Top Rank won the rights to promote the WBO Welterweight title bout between champion Devin Haney and mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis.

There were only two bidders, Top Rank, which was represented by longtime PR guy Gardy Lopez and Teofimo Lopez Takeover Promotions, which was represented by Milton Lacroix.

Takeover submitted a bid of $2.55 Million. That was dwarfed by Top Rank’s $8.55 Million submission. Top Rank proposed an October 3rd date at either Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena or the Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Haney is entitled to 75% ($6.412,500) while Davis would receive 25% ($2,137,500) if agreed to.

Lacroix challenged the the Top Rank envelope was not sealed and WBO President Gustavo Olivieri said he would look into the matter.

Both top-ranked junior-middleweight contenders Giovani Santillan and Abass Baraou say they’re well aware of the career implications of winning or losing their 10-round main event on Friday, September 11, live on ProBoxTV (8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT) from Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

Southpaw Santillan, 35-1 (18 KOs), the hometown hero from nearby San Diego, rated the IBF No. 12 junior-middleweight in the world, says he knows a victory over Baraou puts him right back in the division’s title picture.

Santillan will be looking for the fourth victory of his comeback since losing his “0” via unexpected TKO to Brian Norman Jnr for the interim WBO welterweight title in May 2024.

Known for his high-volume pressure, Baraou won the WBA Interim junior-middleweight world championship by scoring a final-round knockdown en route to a unanimous points verdict over then-interim champion, Yoenis Téllez in August 2025. He was elevated to full champion the following month, after Terence Crawford vacated the title.

Baraou will be making his first ring appearance since losing his 154lbs title by split decision in a WBO/WBA unification battle against Xander Zayas in late January this year.

The fight against Santillan, says Baraou, can serve as a springboard back to another shot at the world belt.

The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association (WBA) has declared René Santiago Champion in Recess and approved a bout between Daiya Kira and Carlos Cañizales for the WBA World Light Flyweight (108 lbs.) Championship.

Santiago was scheduled to defend his crown against Kira, the division’s mandatory challenger. However, his team informed the Committee that an injury would prevent him from fulfilling the mandatory defense. As a result, the WBA requested all relevant medical documentation for review by its Medical Committee before reaching a decision.

WBA Rule C.14 states that when a World Champion is unable to defend his title within the prescribed time periods due to medical, legal, or other justifiable reasons reasonably beyond his control, the inactive champion may be designated Champion in Recess, and the Committee may order the appropriate championship bout in accordance with WBA Rules C.22 through C.24. Medical reasons must be documented to the satisfaction of the Chairman of the Medical Committee, who may require additional medical examinations or reports.

Following its review, the Committee decided to designate Santiago as Champion in Recess and ordered a championship bout between the WBA’s No. 1-ranked contender, Japan’s Daiya Kira, and the organization’s No. 2-ranked contender, Venezuela’s Carlos Cañizales. The two will meet for the vacant WBA World Light Flyweight Championship on September 2 in Yokohama, Japan.

The WBA Medical Committee will remain in communication with Santiago’s team to monitor the progress of his recovery and determine the timeline for his return, which must come against the winner of the Kira-Cañizales bout. Any issues that arise during this process will be resolved in accordance with WBA Rules.

Trained by top trainer John Brown, Romero added three victories against increasingly stiff competition in 2026, kicking off the year with a sixth-round stoppage of veteran Vaught Alexander. He followed that up by going eight rounds for the first time in a shutout victory over William Langston before most recently knocking out Andre Sherard in round one in May.

A CLASSIC FEATHERWEIGHT confrontation tops the bill when Queensberry return to Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live on Saturday 26 September, when Liam Davies takes up the challenge of Nathaniel Collins, live on DAZN.

It is England vs Scotland in the boxing ring, with Davies – the current European and WBO Intercontinental champion, trades blows with Glasgow’s ‘The Nightmare’ Collins, the former British, Commonwealth and WBC Silver champion.

Also on the card, middleweight Nathan ‘Hitman’ Heaney (19-2-1, 6 KOs) – along with his army of fans from the Potteries – will run it back with Gerome Warburton (17-2-2, 2 KOs) in what will be his farewell fight before retirement, after the Stoke favourite was outpointed by the Welshman back in March.

Olympian Luke McCormack (5-0, 3 KOs), fresh from his first 10-round super lightweight triumph over Kane Gardner in February, goes up against the undefeated Jack Power (8-0, 2 KOs).

Also at featherweight, the Morecambe starlet Nelson Birchall (11-0, 8 KOs) faces Gully Power (13-1-1, 1 KO), who fought to a draw in a British title clash with Rhys Edwards in April. Birchall, just 21, became English champion in March with a ninth-round stoppage of Ryan Griffiths.

Davies (18-1-0, 9 KOs) is establishing himself as a featherweight force after stepping up from super bantamweight, where he became IBO world champion, and won the European, British, WBC and WBO International titles.

Southpaw Collins (17-1-1, 8 KOs) will be determined to bounce back in a major fight following his first professional defeat in April against European champion Cristobal Lorente in Glasgow. That fight was a rematch of a drawn encounter in October 2025 and doubled as a final eliminator for the WBC world title.

Collins ultimately came off second best via a split decision but can put himself right back in the world title frame with a victory in Birmingham.

“There will be absolutely no quarter given in this first clutch of fights we are announcing for Birmingham on Saturday 26 September,” said promoter Frank Warren. It really can’t get much better at featherweight than Liam Davies being matched with Nathaniel Collins.

“Both have got strong world title ambitions and a fight of this quality will allow one of them to issue a massive statement of intent. Liam and Nathaniel are both all-action fighters and both possess the power to close the show at any moment.

NEW YORK, NY – July 28, 2026 — Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced the signing of Australia’s two division champion, reigning WBC super bantamweight world champion at 122lbs, and 2020 Australian Olympian Skye Nicolson (16-1, 3 KOs) as Nicolson becomes the first fighter to compete under the newly announced strategic alliance from MVP and Matchroom Boxing, focused on accelerating the continued global growth of women’s boxing. Under the alliance, Matchroom will work with MVP to continue elevating Nicolson throughout the next phases of her professional career.

Nicolson will make her MVP event debut on MVPW-06 at bp pulse LIVE on Saturday, August 29 in Birmingham, England. She will defend her WBC super bantamweight world title in a 10-round defense at 122lbs against Japan’s two-division champion Miyo Yoshida (19-5, 1 KOs), airing live on Sky Sports in the UK and ESPN+ in the US. The announcement was made during the MVPW-06 UK vs USA: Mikaela Mayer vs. Chantelle Cameron kickoff press conference today at Glaziers Hall in London, England, as Skye Nicolson joined MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian onstage in a surprise appearance. 

Nicolson joins MVP’s global roster of elite athletes while also becoming the first athlete to compete as part of MVP’s and Matchroom’s landmark strategic alliance. Nicolson joins a decorated roster of fellow Australian signees at MVP including Australia’s first-ever undisputed champion in the four belt era, male or female, Cherneka Johnson, unified unified IBF and WBO middleweight world champion Desley Robinson, and former IBF bantamweight world champion Ebanie Bridges. 

Skye Nicolson was born and raised in Queensland, Australia to an English mother and Scottish father. She began boxing at age 12, following in the footsteps of her late brother. Her stellar amateur career saw over 150 fights around the world including a Commonwealth Games gold medal, bronze at the amateur world championships, and representing Team Australia in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, where she finished as a quarter-finalist. Off the back of the Olympics, she signed a long-term promotional deal with Matchroom and began a very active professional career that skyrocketed her to her first world title in just her 10th professional fight, defeating Sarah Mahfoud for the WBC featherweight title in 2024. Now 16-1 as a professional, Nicolson most recently rose to Interim champion and mandatory challenger for the WBC 122lbs title. Shortly after, the belt was vacated by former undisputed champion Ellie Scotney, and Nicolson was elevated to become a two-time, two-division WBC world champion in May 2026. Miyo Yoshida is a three-time, two-division world champion from Kagoshima, Japan. NEW YORK–Edgar Berlanga stopped Steven Butler in round seven of their 10-round super middleweight bout at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden to headline Zuffa Boxing 09.

In round two Butler landed a left hook on the ropes that was combined with having feet tangled put Berlanga on the canvas for a knockdown. In round three, Berlanga wobbled Butler on several occasions as he landed hard right hands that had Butler stumbling all over the ring. Butler did well to hold and dodge punches to make it out of the round.

In round six, Berlanga staggered Butler with two left hooks that was followedby a chopping right that put Butler on the canvas. In round seven, Berlanga landed two piston right hands that forcved referee Eric Dali to jump in and stop the bout.

Hitchins Decisions Salas

Richardson Hitchins won a 10-round unanimous decision over Ricardo Salas in a welterweight.

Hitchins, 146.8 lbs of Brooklyn won by scores of 100-90 on all cards and is now 21-0. Salas, 146 lbs of Mexico City is 24-3.

Hackett Decisions Derevyanchenko

Jalil Hackett won a 10-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko in a middleweight bout.

At the end of round two, Derevyanchenko was cut around the right eye.

Hackkett, 157.6 lbs of Washington, DC won by scores of 98-92, 87-93 and 96-94 and is now 13-1. Derevyanchenko, 159.8 lbs of Ukraine is now 16-7.

Vladyslav Sirenko landed a devastating 10th reound of Otto Wallin in a heavyweight bout

n round six, Sirenko had a mouse under his left eye. In round 10, Sirenko landed a devastating left hook that put Wallin down and out cold at 2:59.

Sirenko, 245.8 lbs of Kiev, UKR is now 23-1 with 20 knockouts. Wallin, 247 lbs of Sweden is 28-4.

Emiliano Moreno won an eight-round unanimous decision over Arnold Gonzalez in a welterweight bout.

Moreno, 146.6 lbs of Long Beach, CA won by scores of 79-73 and 78-74 twice and is now 13-1. Gonzalez, 146.2 lbs of Harlem, NY is 18-2.

Kashaun Davis won a eight-round unanimous decision over Mihai Nistor in a heavyweight bout.

Nistor was cut around his right eye in round three from an accidental headbutt and later was deducted a point for pushing off.

NEW YORK–Andres Sosa won a eight-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Dominique Francis in a super featherweight fight.

In round two, Francis was bleeding from the nose. In round three, Sosa was cut around the right eye. Later in the round, Sosa landed a big right hand. on the ropes that [ut Francis on the deck.

Sosa, 129 lbs of Benos Aries, ARG won by scores of 79-72, 78-73 and 77-73 and is now 19-4,

In a fight between two former world champions , former world junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu won a 12-round unanimous decision over Errol Spence Jr. in a middleweight fight in Sydney, Australia.

Spence worked hard and targeted the body early. Tszyu slowly but surely locked up the middle and late rounds and was cruising towards the victory by scores of 118-110 and 117-111 twice.

Tszyu, 159 lbs of Sydney is 28-3. Spence, 159 lbs of Dallas is 28-2.

After the fight, Spence announced his retirement from boxing.

Reda Decisions Fleming

Ahmad Reda remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Paul Fleming in a lightweight bout.

In round five, Fleming started to bleed around his right eye.

Reda, 134.5 lbs of Arncliffe, AUS won by scores of 99-91, 97-93 and 96-94 and is now 9-0. Fleming, 133, lbs of Penrith, AUS is 28-2-2.

Peters Stops Actis in 7

Callum Peters remained undefeated with a seventh round stoppage over Ivan Actis in a middleweight bout.

The fight had a high volume of punches from both guys. In round five, Actiis started to bleed from his left eye. Peters was pinpoint with his right hand and in round seven, Peters landed a couple of right hands and the fight was stopped at 55 seconds.

Petera, 159 lbs of Adelaide, AUS is 8-0 with seven knockouts. Actis, 160 lbs of Guiallanto, ARG is 13-1-1.

Aokuso Stops Tejeda in 10th

Paulo Aokuso stopped Luis Antonio Tejeda with one perfect left hand in the 10th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

In round five, Aokuso landed a little left hand that put Tejeda on his knee. The replay showed the punch was around the neck.

In round 10, Aokuso stepped back and uncorked a perfect left to the jaw that put Tejeda flat on his back and the fight was over at 21 seconds.

Aokuso, 174.5 lbs of Mt. Druitt, AUS is now 11-0 with six knockouts. Tejeda, 173.5 lbs of El Seibo, DR is 12-1-1.

Tina Rahimi made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Sacha Ryan Dryden in a bantamweight fight.

Rahimi, 115 3/4 lbs of Sydney, AUS won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37 and is now 1-0. Dryden, 116 3/4 lbs of Queensland, AUS is 2-3-0-1.

Brandon Grach won a five-round unanimous decision over Ike Pluto in a heavyweight bout.

In round four, Grach landed combination that put Pluto on the canvas.

Grach, 246 1/2 lbs of New Castle South Wales, AUS won by scores of 49-45 and 48-46 twice and is now 7-1. Pluto, 206 1/4 lbs of Cambria, AUS is 5-3.

It was anxious, but Anthony Joshua survived two first round knockdown to knockout Kristian Prenga in round two in a 12-round heavyweight bout at The Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabis.

20 seconds into the bout, Prenga landed a big right uppercut that put Joshua on his back. Joshua was wobbly and Prenga rocked Joshua with a big straight right. It was a left uppercut to the chin that made Joshua’s glove touch the canvas for a second knockdown. In round two, Joshua landed a hard combination to the head that was followed by a straight right to the chin that put Prenga sprawling back on the ropes and down for the count at 2:43.

Joshua, 251 lbs of London is 30-4 with 27 knockouts. Prenga, 261.4 lbs of Mirdite, ALB is 20-2.

Joshua most likely will take on Tyson Fury in a long awaited showdown in the Fall.

Sheeraz Defends Super Middleweight Title with Majority Decision over Zachenhuber

Hamzah Sheeraz barely defends the WBO Super Middleweight title with a majority decision over Simon Zachenhuber.

Sheeraz landed 112 of 460 punches. Zachenhuber was 98 of 516.

Sheeraz, 167.9 lbs of Ilford, ENG won of 116-112, 115-113 and 114-114 and is now 24-0-1. Zachenhuber, 166. lbs Erding, GER is 29-2.

Kelly Decisions Agyarko; Retains 154 lb. Title

Josh Kelly skated by with a razor thin 12-round unanimous decision over Caoihumn Agyarko to retain the IBF Junior Middleweight title.

In round two, Agyarko started to swell around his right eye. In round six, Kelly was deducted for hitting behind thehead.

Kelly landed 97 of 437 punches. Agyarko landed 87 of 352.

Reito Tsutsumi stopped Alvino Herrera in round two of a scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout.

Late in round one, Tsutsumi dropped Herrera with a hard combination to the head. Seconds later, with Herrera still dazed a left hand forced Herrera’s glove to hit the canvas. Early in round two, Tstutsumi dropped Herrera with a crushing right hook and the fight was stopped at 28 seconds.

Jacob Bank won a eight-round unanimous decision over Pawel August in a super middleweight bout.

Dev Stops Diaz in 1

Nishant Dev stopped Cesar Diaz in the opening round of their eight-round super welterweight bout.

In round one, Dev dropped Diaz with a counter left to the head. It was another counter left that put Diaz on his back. Dev ended things when he landed a left to the side of the head that put Diaz down and the fight was over at 2:56.

Dev, 155 lbs of Haryana, IND is 7-0 with five knockouts. Diaz, 152.4 lbs of Lima, PER is 10-3.

Oleksandr Khyrzniak stopped previously undefeated Lenny Patrach in round two of a scheduled eight-round light heavyweight bout.

In round two, Khyzniak dropped Patrach with a left hook to the head. Khyzniak dropped Patrach again with a barrage of punches and the bout was stopped at 1:56.

**PAULO AOKUSO VS. LUIS ANTONIO TEJEDA**

After representing Australia at the 2020 Olympics, Aukuso (10-0, 5 KOs) has shown his huge potential against a series of more experienced pro competitors since his April 2022 pro debut. Amongst the 29-year-old’s early triumphs are longtime contender Yuniesky Gonzalez and the previously unbeaten Shukhrat Abdullaev. Most recently, Aokuso scored a victory in PBC action in April, as he stopped Kittipong Jian Hao Ho.

The 27-year-old Tejeda (12-0-1, 9 KOs) will fight for the first time outside of his native Dominican Republic on July 25, as the El Seibo native steps up to this battle of unbeatens. ATLANTA (June 22, 2026) – Undefeated middleweight contender Troy Isley will face Joe Hicks in a showdown of 2020 U.S. Olympic rivals on Saturday, Aug. 15 live on DAZN in a 10-round featured bout of the Claressa Shields vs. Kaye Scott blockbuster event from State Farm Arena in Atlanta. 

In a co-featured bout, former Puerto Rican Olympian and undefeated contender Ashleyann Lozada will face former world title challenger Paulette Cuesta in a 10-round women’s super bantamweight matchup. In the DAZN opener, WBC Women’s Super Featherweight Champion Caroline Veyre will make the first defense of her title against undefeated challenger Bernice Ferreira.  

The three bouts round out the five-fight DAZN worldwide broadcast that begins at 9 p.m. ET following live streaming coverage on Zeus Network at 6 p.m. ET. It was announced on Thursday that knockout artist and rising star Ernesto “Tito” Mercado will face Emmanuel Tagoe in the 10-round super lightweight co-main event prior to Shields vs. Scott.

Isley and Hicks were teammates on the 2020 U.S. Men’s Olympic Boxing Team, with Isley advancing to the round of 16 while Team Captain Hicks missed out due to changes in qualifying after the Games were delayed by the Covid pandemic. To Hicks, the changes benefitted Isley, who took his spot on the team. To Isley, the better and more experienced man earned his place in Japan. Now the longtime teammates become rivals in a showdown that may position the winner to challenge for a world title.

“Transformer” Isley (16-0, 6 KOs), of Alexandria, Va., is fresh off a fifth-round TKO of Leonardo Di Stefano on June 14 in Grand Rapids, Mich. The 27-year-old scored two knockdowns in the empathic victory and called out middleweight champions Erislandy Lara and Carlos Adames in his post-fight interview. Prior to June 14, Isley won a hard-fought unanimous decision over Etoundi Michel William in June of 2025 in Norfolk, Va. In 2024, Isley soundly defeated former U.S. Olympian teammate Javier Martinez, who holds two amateur victories over Hicks at the U.S. Olympic Trials. 

“I made easy work of Javier Martinez and I’m going to do the same to Joe Hicks,” said Isley referring to his former Olympic teammates. “I’m hungry and I’m coming different. Fans are going to see a version of Troy Isley, the best version. I’m going to put this Olympic talk to bed with Joe.

“It feels good to be right back and this time on a Claressa card. Last year was a down year for me – I didn’t fight as much as I wanted. My plan was to be busy this year. I’ve been with Salita Promotions for two months and this is already my second fight.”

Hicks (12-1, 7 KOs) bounced back from his first professional defeat with a decision victory over Todd Manuel on Feb. 10 in his hometown of Grand Rapids. The 32-year-old made history as one of the first professional fighters to compete for the U.S. Boxing Team, but changes to the qualifying process due to Covid prevented him from competing in the postponed Games despite being named Team Captain. 

“Troy Isley is a tight opponent, but I am confident in my skills as a boxer puncher and counter puncher. We have history from the Olympics and on fight night I’m going to get it back in blood and prove I have always been the better fighter.

“I’m happy to be back in the ring. I’ve had long layoffs and only fought twice in the past year, but I stay in the gym so I’m ready for any opportunity. I’m grateful to be on the GWOAT card and God will make sure I come out of it with my hand raised on Aug. 15.”

Lozada (4-0, 1 KOs) was the first female Olympic boxer in Puerto Rican history. The native of Corozal is currently ranked No. 4 in the world by the WBA and coming off a win over longtime two-division champion Debora Anahi Dionicius in May. The 35-year-old southpaw turned professional in 2025 after a lengthy amateur career and has fought four times in less than 18 months as her level of opposition has steadily increased.  

“I am elated to fight for the WBA Gold title, and a victory will bring me one step closer to my dream of becoming a world champion,” Lozada said. “I am going against a very worthy opponent who has all my respect. Lozada will face her toughest test on Aug. 15 in Cuesta, the No. 6 ranked contender in the WBA, with the winner positioned to challenge No. 3 ranked Phannerai Netisri in a WBA world title eliminator. Cuesta (19-5-1, 4 KOs), of Tijuana, Mexico, is coming off a decision win over previously undefeated Karla Davis in June in Puerto Rico. In 2023 she challenged longtime super bantamweight titleholder Yamileth Mercado. 

“I am more than ready to take on Ashleyann Lozada,” said Cuesta, who recently defeated the No. 6 ranked contender. “She has never faced a strong, determined, experienced Mexican like me. I will bring home a great victory for Mexico on August 15.” 

Veyre (11-1) won the vacant WBC Super Featherweight World Championship with a decisive unanimous decision over longtime former champion and contender Delfine Persoon, who had previously faced women’s boxing superstars Alycia Baumgardner and Katie Taylor. The 37-year-old Veyre, of Montreal by way of Paris, had previously faced former world title challenger Licia Boudersa, winning a near-shutout decision in her fifth consecutive fight in Michigan. On Aug. 15, Veyre faces just the second undefeated challenger of her career in her first title defense.

“I can’t wait to get back in the ring, can’t wait to be on the undercard with Claressa Shields,” Veyre said. “But more than anything, I can’t wait to defend my title for the first time, and go get another one while I’m at it. My opponent is 10-0 and an IBO champion, and that’s exactly why I want this fight. I didn’t become a world champion to duck challenges. I want to prove I’m the champion of this division, and the only way to do that is by facing the other champions.” 

Ferreira (10-0, 4 KOs) will fight outside of her native South Africa for the first time, where she has compiled 10 wins in just three years. In her last two bouts, the 34-year-old won a wide decision over Ellen Simwaka and a near-shutout over former world title challenger Nozipho Bell. Ferreira, who currently holds the IBO super featherweight belt, is ranked in the top five by two of the major sanctioning bodies – No. 2 by the IBF and No. 4 – as well as No. 9 by the WBO. 

“They’re selling this as a clash of two titans, but when that bell rings, respect goes out the window,” Ferreira said. “She’s coming to win a match, I’m coming to take a soul. I’ve taken beatings from life that would have put her in the ground, so if she thinks 10 rounds with me is going to break my spirit, she’s in for a long night.”

Alan Chaves will defend his WBO Latino Lightweight title against Eridson Garcia at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Friday September 4, the third headline show of TNT Sports and DAZN’s “The Fight,” the new monthly live boxing series, and will be broadcast co-exclusively in the U.S. on TNT, truTV and DAZN and worldwide on DAZN – a night headlined by the return of the former unified Heavyweight ruler Andy Ruiz who faces Polish giant Damian Knyba.

Chaves (22-0 19 KOs) is back in action following his KO of the year contending victory in Las Vegas in April, where his ferocious left hook in the third round of his fifth defense of his Latino title against Miguel Madueno. The Argentine is sitting pretty in the rankings at #2 with the WBO, #4 with the IBF and #7 with the WBC, and the 25-year-old will be looking for sixth straight win inside the distance to underline his World title credentials at 135lbs.

HANOVER, MD.–(JULY 21, 2026)–On July 18, Jeter Promotions presented its 21st Night of Championship Professional Boxing at Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, featuring an action-packed card from top to bottom.

The co-main event showcased former international amateur standout and former top-five world-rated contender Yevgeniy Pavlov (11-0) against battle-tested Albeiro Paredes (14-2). Paredes entered the bout coming off a competitive five-round fight with two-time world title challenger Edward Vasquez.

From the opening bell, Pavlov established control with a sharp jab and punishing straight left hands to the body. Fresh off of his thrilling return home this past March, Reno’s “Biggest Lil’ Bomber” Kenny Davis Jr. aims to make another successful defense of his WBC USA lightweight title against battle-tested Matt Conway of Pittsburgh, PA in the night’s ten-round main event.

“It feels great to be defending my WBC US title again in Reno, Nevada,” says an excited Davis. “Reno is in for a treat as they will get a chance to witness first hand the most dangerous Kenny Davis anyone has seen yet. I am ready to go to war.”

Carson City’s road warrior Christian Avalos will also see action in a four-round lightweight attraction, with more bouts to be announced.

After fighting away from home for the majority of his career, Reno’s Davis (16-2-1, 4 KOs) packed the Grande Exposition Hall in March and sent them home happy with an eight-round decision to successfully defend his title against rugged Orlando Zepeda.

“The majority of my fights have been on the road, so to display my skills in my backyard was a very special moment for me,” recalls Davis. “To be a part of bringing professional boxing back to Northern Nevada was a huge moment for me.”

With eyes on advancing up the rankings, Davis will take a step-up against former regional champion Matt Conway (23-5-1, 10 KOs) in what could be the toughest fight of his career to date.

Ballo (3-0), who is promoted by Top Rank, was one of the most decorated amateurs before turning professional in 2025 at Madison Square Garden Theatre.  The 5-foot-7 super featherweight competed internationally against top talent, winning the Junior Pan Am Games in 2021 and becoming a three-time USA Boxing National Champion.  The 23-year-old is already a star outside the ring, as he has amassed nearly 1.3 million followers across TikTok and Instagram.

The 25-year-old dedicates his career to his late mother, who passed away shortly after his May 2025 fight in Hollywood. He has trained with Ryan Garcia, Manny Pacquiao and David Benavidez and is committed to fulfilling his promise to his mother to one day become a world champion.

The 6-foot-6 Moore has won five straight since his only defeat to top contender Richard Torrez Jr. in 2024.  The Lakeland, Fla., native has rallied off three consecutive wins over undefeated prospects, including a 10-round unanimous decision over DeAndre Savage in his last bout in September 2025.  Moore, who is ranked No. 15 in the WBO, was recently in talks to fight Tyson Fury and has served as a main sparring partner for former unified champion Anthony Joshua for his fight this Saturday in Saudi Arabia.  

Jennings has fought some of the heavyweight divisions’ best since turning professional in 2010, including hard-fought battles against then-undefeated contenders Luis Ortiz, Oscar Rivas and Joe Joyce.  The 6-foot-3 Philadelphia native challenged Wladimir Klitschko for the IBF and WBO titles in 2015, losing a unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden.  After a five year break after the loss to Joyce, Jennings returned to boxing in 2024 and has won three straight.  In his last bout, he won an eight-round decision over Robert Simms in Grand Rapids, Mich. Jennings is trained by Bozy Ennis, father of two-division champion Jaron Ennis, and Aaron Ford.
