DETROIT (July 6, 2026) – Salita Promotions and Wynn Records today announced a long-term partnership to stream fight cards that will develop and test some of boxing’s most promising rising prospects and contenders.

The events on Wynn Records Network will expand boxing’s reach to new audiences while developing the next generation of stars, keeping young fighters consistently active throughout the year in meaningful step-up fights. VIDEO

The recurring offerings are designed to complement the premier Salita Promotions events airing on DAZN, the global leader in boxing. They will provide an outlet for Salita Promotions and Wynn Records to showcase the growing roster of talent signed by both entities, giving boxing fans a first look at the future generation of stars as they prepare to make the next step in their careers.

The debut standalone Wynn Records Network card will feature the return of undefeated American Heavyweight Pryce Taylor in a tough matchup against Mexican challenger Issac Muñoz this Saturday, July 11 live at 8 p.m. ET from San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the co-featured bout, Edith Soledad Matthysse will defend her Women’s WBA Interim Super Lightweight Title against Litzy Vazquez Ochoa.  

The second standalone Wynn Records Network event will take place Saturday, August 22 from Fox Theatre in Detroit.

Headlining the inaugural event, “Price is Right” Taylor (12-0, 8 KOs) currently stands as the only undefeated fighter among the top five American heavyweight rankings. The 6-foot-4 Taylor will face hard-hitting Muñoz (18-2-1, 15 KOs) in what is expected to be his toughest challenge to date. Muñoz only losses have come against top-10 American heavyweights Richard Torrez Jr. and Jermain Franklin Jr.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA – German heavyweight Peter Kadiru will now face WBA Heavyweight World Champion Murat “Iron” Gassiev in the main event on Saturday, July 11 at VTB Arena in Moscow.

French heavyweight Tony Yoka was forced to withdraw from the scheduled world title clash with Gassiev due to a back injury. Kadiru has now stepped up for a shot at the full WBA Heavyweight World Title.

Russian icon, Murat Gassiev, enters the contest as the reigning WBA Heavyweight champion, having become his nation’s first World heavyweight titleholder in over a decade with his electrifying sixth-round knockout of Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev at IBA Pro 13 in December. The 32-year-old North Ossetia-native boasts a fearsome record of 33-2 (26 KOs), and is considered by many to be one of the sport’s most devastating punchers — as demonstrated by his highlight reel ‘Knockout of the Year’ of Pulev in front of a capacity crowd. Now, the man fittingly nicknamed ‘Iron’ returns home to defend the belt that Russia waited more than a decade to reclaim.

Australian Heavyweight sensation Teremoana Teremoana faces his most dangerous fight yet when he headlines an action-packed card – including a brand new Matchroom Boxing signing, Michael Zerafa – on the Gold Coast on Wednesday, August 12, live on Fox Sports and DAZN’s Kayo Sports (plus, DAZN for the rest of the world).

Paris Olympic Games standout Teremoana is undefeated since resuming his professional career in December 2024 (11-0, 11 KOs) with seven successive stoppages to his name. 

But the big, bad, Brisbane-based fighter is now preparing for his toughest test to date when he takes on American knockout artist DeAndre Savage in a heavy-hitting main event at Star Casino Gold Coast.

Savage, 35, has tasted defeat only once in his career, losing on points a year ago against US rival Brandon Moore, and has won all 11 of his other contests by knockout.

And Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn believes Savage is the perfect opponent for Teremoana to demonstrate why he believes the 28-year-old Australian will go all the way to the top.

The former World Title challenger from Melbourne (34-5-0, 22 KOs), returns to the ring for the first time since his no contest with Nikita Tszyu, when an accidental head collision forced the January fight off after three rounds.

The 34-year-old, who has been in with the likes of Erislandy Lara, Jeff Horn and Kell Brook, is determined to challenge for titles – and a big win on August 12 will put him in the mix for a big fight on a pay-per-view card later this year.

Abdullah Mason came from behind to stop Albert Bell to retain his WBO Lightweight title at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Bell boxed and moved and took most of the first half of the fight.

In round 12, Mason dropped Bell in the opening seconds with a left to the head. Moments later, Mason landed another combination that put Bell down again and referee Mark Nelson stopped the bout at 1:47.

Mason, 135 lbs of Cleveland is 21-0 with 18 knockouts. Bell, 134.9 lbs of Toledo, OH is 28-1.

Carrington Decisions Palacios; Retains Featherweight Title

Bruce Carrington retained the WBC Featherweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Rene Palacios.

Carrington, 124.9 lbs of Brooklyn won by score of 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112 and is now 18-0. Palacios, 125.7 lbs of Mexico is 19-1-1.

Tiger Johnson Decisions Guerrero

Tiger Johnson remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Christopher Guerrero in a battle of undefeated welterweights.

Johnson, 147 lbs of Cleveland won by scores of 100-92 and 99-91 twice and is now 18-0. Guerrero, 146.6 lbs of Montreal is 16-1.

Deric Davis Gets Close Decision over Ramos

Deric Davis won an eight-round unanimous decision over Carlos Ramos in a lightweight bout.

In round six, Ramos was cut over his right eye.

Davis, 134.3 lbs of Washington DC won by scores of 78-74 twice and 77-75 and is now 12-0. Ramos, 134.8 lbs of Madrid, SPA is 18-5-1.

Ibrahim Mason stopped Erik Hanley in round two of their four-round super featherweight bout.

In round two, Mason dropped Hanley with a hard left hook. Seconds later, a vicious left hook to the body put Hanley down again, Mason sent Handley down again in the with a flurry that cleaned up by another left hook. Mason then landed a big flurry and the fight was stopped.

Mason, 130.3 lbs of Cleveland is 3-0 with three knockouts. Hanley.129.4 lbs of Long Island is 1-3.

Abdurrahman Mason won a four-round unanimous decision over Alvaro Huizar Cabral in a lightweight bout.

In round three, Huzar began to bleed from around his left eye.

Mason, 133.7 lbs of Cleveland won by scores of 40-36 on all cards and is now 3-0. Huizar, 134.8 lbs of Denver is 1-1.

New York, NY – July 03, 2026 – Former unified three-belt world champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) will make his much-anticipated return to the ring in a high-stakes super welterweight showdown against Australian superstar and former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) on Saturday, July 25, from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia. The pay-per-view fight will be available for purchase through DAZN on Prime, regardless of Prime membership. The event will also be available through traditional cable and satellite providers. 

Spence has made a name for himself thanks in large part to a legendary run through the welterweight division and returns to action for the first time after nearly a three-year layoff as he’ll take on the former WBO 154-pound champion Tszyu. The latter has never lost on his home soil and will aim to put himself back in world title contention with a career-best victory. 

The event is promoted by No Limit Boxing, The Rose Brothers, Man Down Promotions, and TGB Promotions.

The Spence vs. Tszyu undercard also features several loaded matchups across the board, including a return to the ring for two-division world champions such as Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs)and Stephen Fulton Jr. (23-2, 8 KOs) take their talents down under. Fast-rising light heavyweight star Gradus Kraus will lead an action-packed undercard for Troy Williamson vs Callum Simpson II as he takes on American Sean Hemphill on Saturday, August 8 at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds, presented by BOXXER and broadcast live and exclusively on DAZN worldwide.

The KO sensation (11-0, 10 KOs) returns to British soil following a triumphant homecoming fight against Theo Brooks at the Topsportcentrum in Rotterdam on May 9, where he retained his perfect record with a spectacular second-round stoppage win.

Rapidly building a reputation as one of the most exciting fighters in world boxing, the dynamite fisted 24-year-old has floored every opponent he has faced so far in the professional ranks, with only one man making it beyond the second round.

Hemphill (19-3, 11 KOs), from New Orleans, USA, will be looking to halt Kraus’ devastating KO streak and improve his own record when the pair meet in a ten-round international contest.

Known as ‘Silky’, the 30-year-old has shared the ring with former world champion William Scull and has also served as a sparring partner for pound-for-pound superstar Canelo Alvarez. 

The American returns to Yorkshire, where he enjoyed the biggest win of his career last June by handing the previously unbeaten Mark Jeffers his first professional defeat. The World Boxing Association (WBA) released its June rankings along with its monthly individual awards, naming Panama’s Nataly Delgado as Female Fighter of the Month, while Mexico’s Estefany Alegría earned an Honorable Mention.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) has officially eliminated the Bridgerweight division, effective immediately as of June 30, 2026. The decision was communicated directly to the division’s reigning champions and is now being made public through this official statement.

The move was approved by WBA President and the organization’s Championship Committee during the Association’s most recent World Convention in Orlando, Florida. Since then, the WBA has been working on a structured plan to phase out championship bouts in the division.

The decision is part of the WBA’s ongoing efforts to streamline its championship structure and strengthen the competitive landscape across all weight classes.

As for the division’s reigning titleholders, Muslim Gadzhimagomedov and Vartan Arutyunyan, both have been informed that they will be incorporated into the WBA rankings in their respective weight classes. Gadzhimagomedov will be ranked at cruiserweight, while Arutyunyan will move into the heavyweight rankings.

The WBA remains committed to building the strongest possible championship structure for modern-day boxing while continuing to enhance the sport’s overall level of competition worldwide.

LAS VEGAS – June 30, 2026 – Fighters First Management CEO Adrian Clark, the manager for Edwin De Los Santos, has announced his intent to appeal the results of De Los Santos’ loss to Jose Valenzuela this past Sunday with the Nevada Athletic Commission, after replays show Valenzuela throwing and connecting with a punch after De Los Santos was already down.

“Rules are rules. It doesn’t matter where the shot landed or how hard it was,” said Clark. “When a fighter is on a knee or down, it is illegal to hit him. Edwin was robbed of the opportunity to recover from the blatantly illegal shot.

“It’s my job to make this appeal. The punch that knocked him down was a good shot by Valenzuela. However, if De Los Santos was out, the referee would have immediately waived the count and called the fight. Everyone watching that fight knows that is a foul.

“My petition is based around the protection of fighters. If the commission for the state that lands a majority of the big fights says that an illegal shot has no bearing on the outcome of a fight, that’s a problem for the sport.”

Clark also pointed out that when De Los Santos and Valenzuela first met in 2022, De Los Santos was penalized for hitting Valenzuela while he was down.

“A situation similar to this occurred in their first fight. Edwin landed a punch after Valenzuela was through the ropes. The difference is, the foul was recognized, called, Edwin was deducted a point and Valenzuela had time to recover.”

De Los Santos stated that no matter how the process plays out, he plans to pursue another fight with Valenzuela to settle the score for good.

“I will let the appeal go through the proper channels, but I am not going to focus on the illegal hit,” said De Los Santos. “I got caught with a good shot. I was stunned, but not hurt. I won’t make any excuses. Eventually I’m going to get the opportunity to fight him again.”

“I’ve been waiting for this fight for years. One more month or one less won’t change anything—my time will come,” said WBC super middleweight world champion Christian “Solid” Mbilli.

“Whether it’s in September or October, Christian Mbilli will leave the ring victorious. And now more than ever, Canelo will have absolutely no excuse for not being fully prepared,” added Eye of the Tiger President and Founder Camille Estephan.

Cain Sandoval won a 10-round majority decision over Brandun Lee in a welterweight bout.

Andres Teran stopped previously undefeated Floyd Diaz in round six of their 10-round bantamweight bout.

In round six, Teran landed a straight right to the jaw that hurt Diaz. Teran followed up with a right and left that wobbled Diaz into the ropes and the fight was stopped at 1:29.

Teran, 117 lbs of Mexico City is 19-2 with 14 knockouts. Diaz, 117.5 lbs of Las Vegas is 15-1.

Tony Hirsch Jr. scored a spectacular third-round stoppage over Jaybrio Pe Benito in a eight-round junior welterweight bout.

In round three, Hirsch landed three flush rights to the head with the third being a crushing right that sent Pe Benito to canvas and the fight was stopped at 2:12.

Hirsch, 135 lbs of Oakland is 9-0-2 with five knockouts. Pe Benito, 139 lbs of Honolulu, HA is 7-1.

Damani Cato-Cain won a eight-round unanimous decision over Vernon Brown in a welterweight bout.

Cato-Cain, 146 lbs of Oakland won by scores of 79-73 and 78-74 twice and is now 10-1-2. Brown, 146.5 lbs of Chicago is 14-3-1.

In a rematch of a draw, Adrian Serrano won a six-round unanimous decision over Brady Ochoa in a lightweight bout.

Serrano outlanded Ochoa 196-128.

Serrano, 134.5 lbs of Salinas, CA won by scores of 59-55 twice and 58-56 and is now 7-0-2. Ochoa, 133.5 lbs of Las Vegas is 9-1-1.

Jakhongir Zokirov stopped Zach Spiller in round two of their six-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Zokirov landed a chopping left that put Spiller on the canvas. In round two, Zokirov landed10 vicious blows to head that forced a referee stoppage at 2:02.

Zokirov, 253 lbs of Jakik, UZB is 2-0 with two knockouts. Spiller, 256 lbs of Houston ix 5-1.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA – Junior middleweight Khristopher Estep and featherweight Kyle Lacanlale both unanimously decisioned their veteran opponents to remain unblemished in the co-main attractions of a six-bout card at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton, Sacramento on Saturday night. 

Making his six-round debut in just his third pro fight, Estep (3-0, 1 KO) of Sacramento was tested by the always willing William Davis (5-5-2, 1 KO) also of Sacramento, making for an entertaining main event. 

Davis, 152, began the first boxing well and outworking Estep, 154, in the very early going. By late in the round, as Estep let his hands go, the power difference became apparent. Estep, the natural junior middleweight, could back up Davis, a junior welterweight for most of his career, with one or two power punches. Late in the round, Estep had Davis covering up briefly before the veteran unleashed a clean power left hook counter. The punch may have dropped a 140-pounder, but Estep was able to shake it off and stay composed. 

Both had their moments in an exciting second round. Estep began the round aggressively, but Davis found success soon after landing with a looping right along the ropes. Davis was able to keep his chin tucked while swinging high at the taller Estep’s chin. Estep weathered the storm and turned the exchange back in his favor in moments. The veteran Davis was able to get Estep to fight an in-close style, which negated the younger fighter’s height and reach advantages. 

The brisk pace continued through the middle rounds and down the stretch. Neither fighter looked to hold, both always looking to let their hands go as the fight stayed on the inside. The 36-year-old Davis impressively kept up with the 26-year-old Estep’s pace, if not setting it himself. However, Estep’s power edge was the main differentiating factor. 

In the end, judges Kermit Bayliss, Melissa McMorrow and Joel Farbstein were in agreement, scoring the unanimous decision for Estep, 59-55 across the board. With the victory, Estep stays in line for a return to the ring at The Venue at Thunder Valley at Thunder Valley Casino in nearby Lincoln, California on September 5th. 

In the co-main event, Kyle Lacanlale (8-0, 4 KOs) of San Ramon, California scored a four-round unanimous decision over Jonathan Almacen (7-17-3, 2 KOs) of Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines. 

The 22-year-old Lacanlale held even more of a height and natural size advantage over his veteran opponent than did Estep in the co-main. The 26-year-old Almacen began his pro career at 107-pounds in 2016 when Lacanlale was 12-years-old. In April, Lacanlale scored a second-round knockout of a 134-pound opponent. 

What Almacen, 124, lacks in size and power at featherweight, he tries to make up for in evasiveness. Lacanlale, 124, was the aggressor early in the fight, but had a tough time pinning Almacen down long enough to land the combination that could end the night early. 

Almacen had his best round in the second, as he let his hands go in stretches and may have caught Lacanlale a little over frustrated. With no time to waste in a bout that was reduced from six rounds to four by the California State Athletic Commission, Lacanlale came out with renewed vigor to open the third round. Almacen just did not possess the power to earn the younger fighter’s respect. Lacanlale walked through what Almacen could land, placing power shots that backed the veteran up. 

Almacen surprisingly pressed the action early in the fourth, but Lacanlale was comfortable firing off his back foot and exchanging. Despite the solid work rate from the veteran, Lacanlale’s edge power did not require him to match Almacen punch-for-punch. 

In the end, Judge Melissa McMorrow scored the bout 39-37, while judges Joel Farbstein and Kermit Bayliss both scored it a shutout, 40-36, all for Lacanlale. With his victory, Lacanlale will next take to the ring on the September 5th event at The Venue at Thunder Valley at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln. 

In a competitive and fast-paced action fight, Jose Aguilar (5-0, 3 KOs) of Linden, California remained unbeaten and moved past Eduardo Sanchez (1-2) of Watsonville, California via four-round majority decision. 

Sanchez, 116 ½, had a strong first round, setting a brisk pace and landing with several well-placed power punches. Aguilar, 117, let his hands go as well and tried to meet Sanchez’s output. Aguilar was able to land a few more power punches in the second, but otherwise the round looked very similar to the first, with Sanchez pressing forward and consistently moving his hands. With Sanchez’s pace slowed slightly in the fourth, Aguilar had one of his better rounds, landing with a few eye-catching punches upstairs that may have been enough to sway the judges. 

Judge Joel Farbstein scored the bout even 38-38, but was overruled by judges Kermit Bayliss and Melissa McMorrow, 39-37 for Aguilar. 

With a strong group of supporters on hand from Northern Nevada, Harley Sampson (3-1, 3 KOs) of Reno, Nevada upset the local fanbase of previously unbeaten Dorrel Fore Jr. (3-1) of Sacramento by scoring a first-round knockout. 

Sampson, 140, began the fight with his trademark aggressiveness and forced the boxer Fore, 140, into a firefight right away. With Fore out of his comfort zone, Sampson pressed and continually landed with his left hand. With the taller Fore perhaps feeling he was out of punching range, Sampson leaped in with a clean left hook that dropped the Sacramento native down on his back. Fore beat the count, but when he took a wobbled backwards step, referee Edward Collantes stopped the bout at 1:23 of round one. 

In the action-packed opener, Miguel “Tito” Elizondo (2-0) of Carson City, Nevada dropped Reymundo Rangel (1-1) of Grand Prairie, Texas in round one en route to a four-round unanimous decision. 

Elizondo, 129, and Rangel, 130, came right at each other from the opening bell. After some good back-and-forth, Elizondo countered a landed right from Rangel with one of his own to score the knockdown. Rangel beat the count and went right back to engaging with the oncoming Elizondo. 

Over the next three rounds, both of the previously unbeaten super featherweights engaged in a free-swinging action fight with Elizondo holding a slight, but decided edge, especially in power-punching. 

All three judges, Melissa McMorrow, Kermit Bayliss and Joel Farbstein, scored the bout a shutout for Elizondo, 40-35. 

Muay Thai Kickboxing

In an added attraction, Moises Rodriguez (1-0, 1 KO) of San Diego scored a second-round knockout of Santiago Moralez (0-1) of Sacramento. The bout came to its conclusion after Rodriguez, 155, landed a series of elbows that downed the local fighter. With Moralez, 152, unable to continue, the bout was waved off by referee Edward Collantes at 2:38 of round two.

Jaron Ennis stopped Xander Zayas to win the WBA/WBO Junior Middleweight titles in round seven of an exciting fight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In round one. Ennis landed a big right that put Zayas on the deck. In round three, Ennis was rocked (for the first time in his career) when Zayas landed a hard jab that was followed by a left that scraped across the chin. In round five, Ennis landed a perfect counter right uppercut to the chin that put Zayas on the canvas. Zayas was lucky to make it out of the round as Ennis applied beating.

In round seven, Ennis finished off Zayas when he landed another left hand on the inside and put Zayas on the canvas and the fight was stopped at 1:49.

Ennis, 153 lbs of Philadelphia is 36-0 with 32 knockouts. Zayas, 153.8 lbs of San Juan, PR is 22-1.

In round three, Vargas landed a little check right hook as Mills lunged in that sent Mills to the canvas. In round four, Vargas dropped Mills with a straight left on the chin. Vargas then landed a big flurry that forced a referee stoppage just as Mills was falling to the canvas at 1:17.

Vargas, 138.6 lbs of Las Vegas is 18-0 with 15 knockouts. Mills, 139 lbs of Liverpool, NY is 22-2.

Whittaker Stops Rivera in 2

Ben Whittaker stopped Richard Rivera in round two of their 10-round light heavyweight bout.

In round one, Whittaker caught Rivera with a counter right to the side of the head that put sent him to the canvas. Seconds into round two, Whittaker landed a quick left hook that put Rivera down and the fight was stopped at 27 seconds.

Whittaker, 174.4 lbs of West Bromwhich, ENG is 12-0-1 with nine knockouts. Rivera, 173.8 lbs of Hartford, CT is 27-3.

Tucker Decisions Cedeno

Jahi Tucker won a 10-round majority decision over Euri Cedeno in a middleweight bout.

Tucker, 159.8 lbs of Deer Park, NY won by scores of 98-92, 97-93 and 95-95 and is now 17-1-1. Cedeno, 158.8 lbs of La Romana, DR is 14-1-1.

Juanma Lopez stopped Alberto Motos in the opening round of their six-round flyweight bout.

In round one, Lopez landed a perfect straight left down the middle that Motos flat on his back and the fight was over at 2:05.

Lopez, 114 lbs of Caguas, PR is 6-0 with three knockouts. Motos, 113.8 lbs of Madrid, SPA is 6-3.

Dennis Thompson remained undefeated with a eight-round split decision over Edwin Rodriguez in a super bantamweight fight.

Thompson took two cards 79-73 and 77-75. Rodriguez won a card 77-75.

Thompson landed 212 of 1040 punches. Rodriguez was 131 of 562.

Thompson, 120.8 lbs of Philadelphia s 11-0. Rodriguez, 121.4 lbs of Juana Diaz, PR is 12-12-3.

Quincey Williams remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Jerome Baxter in a welterweight fight.

(June 26, 2026) – The University of Southern California’s Galen Center has now been confirmed as the venue for WBC interim world super-middleweight champion Lester Martinez’s first interim title defense against top contender Luka Plantic, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and live on ProBoxTV.

Martinez, 20-0-1 (16 KOs), of Guatemala City and Zagreb, Croatia’s Plantic, 13-0 (10 KOs), will meet in the 12-round main event of a card that also features light-heavyweight Najee Lopez, 16-0 (13 KOs), taking on dangerous Colombian slugger Juan Carrillo, 15-0 (11 KOs) in the night’s co-featured bout.

More supporting matchups, including appearances by popular sluggers Ramon Cardenas, Luis “Koreano” Torres and Weljon Mindoro, plus a full lineup of “Future Stars” series prospects will be announced shortly.

Located across the street from the USC campus, the Galen Center is the home for USC Trojans basketball and USC volleyball. On fight night, the capacity is expected to be approximately 12,000.

The move to a larger venue was made necessary due to the sold-out crowd of nearly 4000 that filled the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino last March, when Martinez won his interim title by defeating Immanuwel Aleem via unanimous decision.

McKenna (20-0, 10 KOs) and Oliha (22-0, 10 KOs) will compete in the first middleweight world title fight contested on Irish soil in more than three decades. Mason turned pro at 17 in 2021 following an amateur career of approximately 80 fights and surged into title contention in 2025 with three consecutive stoppages. He opened the year with a fourth-round knockout of Manuel Jaimes in February, stopped Carlos Ornelas in the sixth round in April, and blasted out Namibian veteran Jeremia Nakathila in the fifth round in June before the Noakes win.
 
Bell (28-0, 9 KOs) was scheduled to face Cuban Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz in an IBF lightweight world title final eliminator on July 18 in Carson, California. Instead, the unbeaten Ohioan now gets his first world title opportunity two weeks earlier against Mason. The 33-year-old returns following a 10-round unanimous decision over Keith Hunter last August in his hometown.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA – Rising featherweight prospect Kyle Lacanlale will take on veteran Jonathan Almacen in the all-Filipino main event of Showdown in Sactown III at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Sacramento on Saturday night. Fighters for the six-bout card weighed-in at the host venue on Friday morning. 

Lacanlale (7-0, 4 KOs) of San Ramon, California is coming off of a dominant second-round kayo of Javier Rojas Campos on April 4th. The young featherweight has outgrown preliminary opposition and has appeared ready for a proven veteran for some time. Tonight’s bout was originally slated as Lacanlale’s first foray into the six-round distance as well. However, the California State Athletic Commission made the decision to limit the contest to a scheduled four. Lacanlale weighed-in at 124 pounds on Friday morning. 

Fitting the veteran label, Almacen (7-16-3) of Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines will be familiar with the venue, having come up short to unbeaten Jose Contreras here just over one month ago. Almacen began his career in the Philippines, fighting fellow Filipinos, before taking his career to the U.S. in 2023. The shorter Almacen matched his opponent, weighing-in at 124 pounds on Friday. 

Khristopher Estep (2-0, 1 KO) of Sacramento jumps into the six-round distance against veteran William Davis (5-4-2, 1 KO) also of Sacramento in the semi main event. Estep turned professional at the DoubleTree last November and was last in the ring scoring a four-round unanimous decision this past March. The battle-tested Davis marks a step-up in Estep’s level of competition, having the experience that comes with ten years of professional fighting. Estep weighed-in at the junior middleweight limit of 154, while Davis scaled 152 pounds.

Unbeaten bantamweight Jose Aguilar (4-0, 3 KOs) of Linden, California takes to the ring for the fourth time this calendar year as he takes on returning Eduardo Sanchez (1-1) of Watsonville, California in an intriguing four-rounder. Aguilar, who scaled 117 pounds on Friday, turned professional last November in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico and has already racked up three knockouts there to go along with a four-round unanimous decision in Jamestown, California this past March. Sanchez, a Noble-Moreno Boxing product who came in at 116 ½ pounds on Friday, returns to the ring after sitting out 2025. 

Dorrel Fore Jr. (3-0) of Sacramento will make his third start at the DoubleTree as he takes on Harley Sampson (2-1, 2 KOs) of Reno, Nevada in a four-round junior welterweight bout. Fore, who scaled 140 pounds on Friday, impressively decisioned tough Ebert Diaz in November in his last time out. Sampson, also weighing-in at 140 on Friday, scored a dominant third-round stoppage over Robert Jimenez this past April in his last ring action. 

In the opener, former amateur standout Miguel “Tito” Elizondo (1-0) of Carson City, Nevada will meet Reymundo Rangel (1-0) of Grand Prairie, Texas in a four-round super featherweight bout. Elizondo, originally scheduled to compete at the DoubleTree last month before his opponent was late to withdraw, made his professional debut in March with an impressive four-round unanimous decision over Yoel Sandobal Ochoa. Rangel, who turned pro in a four-round firefight win over Albert Mayo in February, was originally scheduled to fight in Dallas this weekend. The event in Dallas ended up being canceled as Elizondo’s opponent was again a late pullout. In need of new dance partners, the two unbeaten fighters agreed to meet each other just last weekend. Elizondo scaled 129 pounds, while Rangel made the 130-pound super featherweight limit on Friday. 

Rounding out the bill will be a three-round pro kickboxing bout. Moises Rodriguez of San Diego will make his pro debut against Sacramento’s Santiago Moralez, also making his debut. Moralez, out of Ronin Warrior Muay Thai & Fitness, weighed-in at 152 pounds on Friday morning. Rodriguez, out of Victory MMA & Fitness, needed a little extra time to sweat down to the lightweight kickboxing limit of 155 pounds.

(June 25, 2026) – ProBoxTV has added three more televised fights to their already stacked Saturday, July 18, live broadcast (7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT), from the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.

Joining the festivities will be a 10-round super featherweight battle between WBO No. 1- and WBC No. 11-ranked Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez, 18-0 (10 KOs), of Manila, Philippines, and Manuel Avila, 26-2-1 (9 KOs), of Fairfield, California.

A brave soldier in the Philippine army, Suarez has elected to keep his skills sharp by putting his mandated rematch against WBO world super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete and his WBO No. 1 status on the line against Avila.

Suarez first challenged champion Navarrete in May of last year and the fight was halted in the eighth due to a Navarrete cut over his left eye that referee Edward Collantes ruled to have been caused by an accidental headbutt.

The original verdict was a unanimous technical decision in favor of Navarrete.

However, the fight was changed to a No Contest when the California State Athletic Commission reviewed video replays that revealed the cut had been caused by a punch from Suarez and that, ultimately, he should have been awarded the victory and Navarrete’s title.

The WBO ordered an immediate rematch between the two, however delays have prompted Suarez to risk this dangerous fight against Avila to ensure his skills are sharp when the second title opportunity materializes.

Also added is a 10-round super welterweight contest between IBF USBA super welterweight champion and top-ranked Yan Marcos, 15-0 (10 KOs), of Miami via Cuba, and Guido Emmanuel Schramm, 17-4-3 (10 KOs), of Los Angeles via Argentina, as well as six-round featherweight contest featuring Oscar Bonifacino, 4-0-1 (3 KOs), of Maldonado, Uruguay, taking on Raul Escudero, 4-0, of Pamplona, Spain.

In the night’s 10-round super lightweight main event, WBC #12-ranked Bryan “Nino Maravilla” Flores, 28-1-1 (16 KOs), of Las Vegas via Juarez, Mexico, goes to war with Jonathan “Thunder” Navarro Flores, 18-2 (9 KOs), of East Los Angeles.

In the 10-round super welterweight co-feature, Joshua Kevin Anton (13-0, 12 KOs) of Palmdale, California, takes on Vladimir Hernandez (17-7, 7 KOs) of Stockton, California via Durango, Mexico.

MANAMA, BAHRAIN (June 23, 2026) – The Bahrain Boxing Federation has officially announced the appointment of internationally respected boxing executive and global sports advisor Amer Abdallah as an Advisor to the Kingdom of Bahrain Boxing Federation, marking a significant step forward in the federation’s continued efforts to establish Bahrain as a premier destination for boxing development and excellence.

Abdallah brings with him decades of experience in combat sports and a proven track record of building boxing infrastructure, developing talent, and executing major international events across multiple continents. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of professional boxing in the Middle East, Abdallah played an instrumental role in expanding the sport throughout the region during a critical period of growth.

In 2019, Abdallah helped launch the first-ever professional boxing and kickboxing event in Dubai under Badou Jack Promotions, a landmark moment for combat sports in the UAE. He was also involved in some of the earliest professional boxing events held in both the United Arab Emirates and Libya, helping establish a foundation that would contribute to the region’s emergence as a global boxing hub.

Abdallah’s appointment in Bahrain adds another prestigious chapter to a career that has helped shape boxing’s rapid expansion throughout the Middle East.

Previously, Abdallah was appointed Head of Boxing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by His Highness Prince Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, whose vision and leadership transformed Saudi Arabia into one of the world’s most important destinations for major combat sports events. During that historic period, Abdallah played a role in the growth of boxing within the Kingdom as Saudi Arabia successfully hosted globally acclaimed events including Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz II, Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk II, and Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury, events that captured worldwide attention and demonstrated the region’s ability to host boxing on the grandest stage.

Today, Abdallah continues to serve the sport in multiple capacities as a Global Boxing Advisor, President of MF Pro Boxing, and Managing Member of the legendary KRONK Gym, one of boxing’s most iconic institutions.

MONTREAL, June 23, 2026 — WBA Continental cruiserweight champion Lenar Perez will face the toughest test of his career on September 3 when he takes on two-time world title challenger Thabiso “The Rock” Mchunu in the main event of an Eye of the Tiger card at the Casino de Montréal.

“When I signed with EOTTM, I knew the challenges would be there. Thabiso Mchunu has a wealth of experience against the very best in the world. This is exactly the kind of fight that will allow me to prove that I belong among the elite of the division myself,” said four-time Cuban national amateur champion Lenar Perez.

“We believe Lenar Perez is the best cruiserweight in the world, and while we wait for the opportunity to prove it against Jai Opetaia or David Benavidez, we intend to send a clear message to them and the entire division through Mchunu on September 3,” added EOTTM President Camille Estephan.

Boasting one of the most decorated amateur careers in boxing, Lenar Perez (16-0, 14 KOs) wasted no time making an impact in the professional ranks. After winning his first 14 bouts by stoppage, the fighter nicknamed “The Cuban Prince” traveled to Russia and defeated former world title challenger Aleksei Egorov on hostile territory. He then signed a long-term agreement with EOTTM and made his North American debut last March, completely shutting out former world title challenger Isaac Chilemba. Currently ranked No. 3 by the WBA, No. 9 by the IBF, No. 11 by the WBO, and No. 18 by the WBC, Perez is looking to secure the biggest opportunities of his career by winning his first main event on Quebec soil.

South African boxer Thabiso Mchunu (25-8, 14 KOs), however, is no stranger to the world level—or to those seeking to reach it. In 2013, in Connecticut, Mchunu spoiled American heavyweight Eddie Chambers‘ cruiserweight debut. In 2014, in Atlantic City, he captured the NABF title from Nigerian puncher Olanrewaju Durodola. In 2016, live on HBO, he received his first world title opportunity against none other than Oleksandr Usyk, engaging in a hard-fought nine-round battle. Then, after defeating former world champions Thomas Oosthuizen (2018) and Denis Lebedev (2019), he returned to the world title stage in 2022, falling by split decision to Junior Makabu in a fight many observers believed he had won. Having resumed his quest for a third world title shot, “The Rock” will be seeking a third consecutive victory when he faces Perez.

While the main event carries an international flavor, the co-feature will add a local touch to the evening, as Montreal fighters Moreno Fendero (15-0, 11 KOs) and Stephane Fondjo (15-2-1, 10 KOs) square off for the WBC Continental Americas super middleweight title.

“I have a lot of respect for Stephane, but once we’re in the ring, there will be no more respect. We’ve sparred together before. We know each other well, so we’re going to give everyone a great fight, but I’ll just say that the Soldier has a nice surprise in store for him,” commented defending champion Moreno “The Soldier” Fendero, currently ranked No. 25 in the WBC world rankings.

“Whenever we can make local fights like this happen, we do it. It’s an important step in a boxer’s career. It adds a psychological dimension that Moreno will have to navigate for the first time,” noted EOTTM Head Trainer and Director of Development Marc Ramsay.

“Unlike many boxers, Stephane isn’t interested in padding his record—he wants to fight the best. After 18 professional fights, I believe he’s ready to beat the best. I like Moreno, but I have no doubt that Stephane will hand him his first defeat,” stated trainer Ian MacKillop, whose fighter engaged in a fierce battle with Steven Butler despite a shortened training camp in November 2025.

Also scheduled to compete on September 3 are two-time Prospect of the Year nominee Jhon Orobio (18-0, 16 KOs), Buckingham puncher Alexandre Gaumont (14-1, 9 KOs), Canada’s most recent Olympic medalist Wyatt Sanford (7-0, 3 KOs), and Eye of the Tiger’s Montreal-based prospect Keven Beausejour (3-0, 3 KOs).
