Gallagher becomes the latest elite athlete to join MVP following the launch of MVPW, the year-round global home of women’s boxing, which continues to assemble the deepest roster of world champions and contenders in the sport. PHOENIX (June 21, 2026) – Kingsley “The Black Lion” Ibeh (17-3-1, 15 KOs) dominated last night’s pro boxing card, presented by Whitfield Haydon in association with Toro Promotions, Inc., at The Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born in Nigeria and fighting out of Phoenix, Ibeh threw-down with fellow Arizona heavyweight Dante “The Inferno” Stone (21-3, 13 KOs) in the aptly called main event, “King of the West,” to determine the top heavyweight boxer based west of the Mississippi River.

Ibeh, a former college and Canadian pro football player, stopped Stone in the eighth round, successfully defending his World Boxing Council (WBC) FECARBOX) title belt, in addition to capturing the vacant World boxing Association (WBA) Continental Americas and Arizona State championships. Stone had never been knocked out in 23 pro fights.

Ibe, whose cousin is the infamous former heavyweight boxer Ike Ibeabuchi, gained fame this past January at Madison Square Garden, in which he lost an impressive 10-round split decision to world-rated Jarrell Miller (26-1-2).

“The goal was to beat him at his own game,’ Ibeh said after the fight, “which we did. All respect to Stone but he was just in the way and a stone we need to move out. This means bigger opportunities. I want ‘DDD’ (‘Dynamite’ Daniel Dubois) next!”

Stone’s previous fight was last October in the championship final of the WBC Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, when his 21-fight win streak was snapped by Kevin Cristopher Ramirez via a 6-round split decision.

In the co-featured event, local star Elijan Garcia (18-2, 14 KOs) needed little time to take care of super middleweight Ryan Adams (12-12-1, 7 KOs), quickly closing the show in the opening round. Garcia’s pro record includes a major victory against WBC World Middleweight challenger and 2012 USA Olympian, Terrell Gausha (24-4-1) in 2025 by way of a 10-round split decision last year. A former WBC Latino middleweight champion, Garcia was a 2017 U.S. National Championships gold medalist, who turned pro in Mexico at the age of 16.

Adams was coming off an eighth-round split decision victory over Yoanki Urrujia (17-1) last October in Miami.

Three other heavyweight matches featuring Arizona fighters were on the undercard: Adam “All American” Stewart (17-1-1, 10 KOs) knocked out Desmond Thompson (9-3, 8 KOs) in round two, Trevor “Titan” Kotara (5-5-1, 12 KOs) took out Jalen Davis (1-6, 1 KO), and in a battle of pro debut fighters Angel Lainez won a 4-round unanimous decision over Javier Arroyo (0-1).

Promising Armenian prospect Narek Hovhannisyan rolled to his fifth straight win without a loss, out-classing 76-fight Mexican veteran Dayryus Cotton enroute to a 6-round unanimous decision.

Undefeated Phoenix featherweight Brayan “Pow’ Gonzalez continued his hot streak with a technical knockout of Carlos Mujica (9-10, 2 KOs) in the second round.   

In other undercard matches, unbeaten Mexican light heavyweight Sergio Leon Rodriguez improved to 13-0-1 (9 KOs) with a third-round disqualification win against Antonio Louis Hernandez (7-25-4, 4 KOs), while Erick Munguia (3-0, 2 KOs) took a 4-round unanimous decision from pro-debuting Patrick Quick (0-1) in a battle of Arizona lightweights.

At the end of the round one, Olaniyan dropped Chvarkou with a vicious flurry that was started by a flush right to the head. Chvarkou got up and wobbled to the corner. Early in round two, it was a right cross that put Cvkarkou to the canvas. The right eye of Chvarkou was a bloody mess. Finally the bout was stopped after a combination of punches at 2:11.

Taylor Bevin remained undefeated with a 10-round majority decision over Ryszad Lewicki in a super middleweight bout.

June 19, 2026 – Rising middleweight contender Jalil Hackett will face the stiffest test of his career when he takes on Ukrainian veteran Sergiy Derevyanchenko in a 10-round middleweight fight on Sunday, July 26, at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden. 

Hackett vs. Derevyanchenko will serve as the main card opener for Zuffa Boxing 09, headlined by Brooklyn-born stars Edgar Berlanga and Richardson Hitchins in separate bouts. Berlanga will face Canada’s Steven Butler in a 10-round super middleweight contest, while Hitchins will test the welterweight waters in a 12-round showdown against Mexico’s Ricardo Salas.

The 23-year-old Hackett (12-1, 9 KOs), from Southeast Washington, DC, entered the professional ranks with a decorated amateur résumé that included nearly 150 victories and 10 national titles. Hackett dug deep at Zuffa Boxing 02 in February, earning a majority decision over Roberto Cruz Jr. following a strong late-round surge.

Derevyanchenko (16-6, 11 KOs), a 2008 Olympian, has tested himself against the sport’s elite since turning professional in 2014. He has never been stopped and has pushed the likes of Jermall Charlo, Gennadiy Golovkin, and Daniel Jacobs to the limit in memorable world title battles. At 40 years old, Derevyanchenko returns to middleweight following a four-fight run at super middleweight that included his 2023 Fight of the Year classic against Jaime Munguia.

Ashton Sylve won a 10-round unanimous decision over former world champion Joseph Diaz Jr. in a junior welterweight bout in Long Beach, California.

Sylve, 140 lbs of Long Beach, CA won by scores of 97-93 on all cards and is now 14-1. Diaz, 139.4 lbs of South El Monte, CA is 34-10-1.

In round six, Diaz was bleeding from the side of his head.

In a battle of undefeated lightweights, Devin Cushing won a 10-round unanimous decision over J’Hon Ingram.

Cushing, 134.6 lbs of Pensacola, FL won by scores of 97-93 on all cards and is now 19-0. Ingram, 134 lbs of Baltimore is 9-1.

Amir Anderson went the distance for the first time but stayed undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Jonas Sylvain in a middleweight bout.

Anderson, 159.6 lbs of Syracuse, NY won by scores of 100-90 on all cards and is now 8-0. Sylvain, 159 lbs of Boynton Beach, FL is 9-1-1.

Ernesto Mercado remained undefeated with a second round stoppage over Juan Carlos Burgos in a 10-round junior welterweight bout.

In round two, Mercado dropped Burgos with a punishing left hook. Seconds later, it was a right to the head that sent Burgos down for the 10-count at 2:40.

Mercado, 139.4 lbs of Pomona, CA is 19-0 with 18 knockouts. Burgos, 139.6 lbs of Tijuana, MEX is 36-9-3.

David Lopez remained undefeated with a first round destruction of Joey Borrero in a eight-round welterweight bout.

In round one, Lopez landed a crushing right and left to the jaw that sent Borrero to the canvas. Lopez landed a huge barrage of punches that caused a referee to step in at 1:41.

Lopez, 146.2 lbs of Oakland is 9-0 with seven knockouts. Borrero, 142.8 lbs of Cupey Alto, CA is 12-3.

Kayla Gomez made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Shayntain Creer in a super flyweight bout.

Gomez, 112.8 lbs of lbs of El Paso, TX won by scores of 40-36 on all cards and is now 1-0. Creer, 114.4 lbs of Columbus, GA is now 0-1.

A HUGE HEAVYWEIGHT showdown will take place at The O2 on Saturday August 29th, when the undefeated Moses Itauma takes on leading contender Filip Hrgovic, live on DAZN PPV. 

At just 21, Itauma will take a step up by challenging himself against a seasoned opponent who has only suffered one defeat, and previously ranked No.1 by the IBF. 

Hrgovic, 34 and from Croatia, showed his own ring-readiness in the middle of May at the home of Doncaster FC where he swiftly overcame the threat presented by home favourite Dave Allen via a third round stoppage.

The 2016 Olympic medalist made it a third successive win by overcoming Allen, having defeated British heavyweights in Joe Joyce and David Adeleye since his career-first loss against Daniel Dubois in June 2024.

Itauma, who holds the WBO Intercontinental, WBA International, and Commonwealth titles, will be looking to keep his unbeaten record and world title ambitions firmly on track to solidify his status as the best young heavyweight in the sport. 

He has not heard the final bell since a pair of six-round learning fights back in 2023. Of his 10 fights since, six have ended in the first round – including against Dillian Whyte and Demsey McKean – and three in the second. His most recent activity, against Jermaine Franklin Jr in March, extended him to five rounds of action.

MIAMI, FL (June18, 2026) – Fresh off another devastating knockout victory, undefeated heavyweight contender Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo (11-0, 10 KOs) will make a quick return to the ring when he faces Calvin Barnett (7-5, 4 KOs) of Port Orange, Florida, in a scheduled 10-round main event at “FIST OF FURY 11” on June 28, 2026. The fight will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood, Florida.

The event is presented by Kris Lawrence’s The Heavyweight Factory Promotions and will feature one of boxing’s fastest-rising heavyweight contenders as Trujillo continues his march toward world title contention.

Currently ranked #14 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Trujillo enters the bout following an impressive first-round stoppage of veteran Sergio Ramirez Marin (22-9, 12 KOs) on May 30. The emphatic victory marked the tenth knockout of his professional career and further solidified his reputation as one of the division’s most dangerous punchers.

Rather than taking time off following his latest triumph, Trujillo, the current BKB Heavyweight Champion, and his team elected to remain active and continue building momentum. VALENZUELA 2on Sunday, June 28, at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The five-fight undercard will start at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT ahead of the three-fight main card kicking off at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.

The preliminary card is topped by a pair of evenly matched showdowns featuring four emerging talents. Unbeaten Las Vegas native Floyd Diaz (14-0, 3 KOs ) takes on his stiffest challenge to date against Mexico’s Andres Teran (18-2, 13 KOs) in a 10-rounder at bantamweight. Unified middleweight world champion Desley “Destroyer” Robinson has emerged as one of Australia’s top boxing talents. Originally stepping into the ring to improve her fitness, Robinson quickly proved she belonged at the elite level. She went undefeated until she returned to the Paris Olympics in 2024, earning gold medals at the 2022 Amateur World Championship, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the 2023 Pan Am Games. Thibeault, who speaks French, English, and Spanish, completed a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Concordia University in 2023, which she earned over seven years while competing. She currently lives in Sheffield, England, where she earned a one-year Master’s degree in urban design and urban planning while training at the renowned Steel City Gym. MVP’s Shurretta “Chiccn” Metcalf (14-4-1, 2 KOs). Metcalf has had to fight—both inside and outside the ring—all of her life. Born in Oak Cliff in Dallas, Texas, Shurretta grew up in a low-income area with her two younger siblings and hard-working single mom. A talented student, she was a standout basketball player and also excelled at track and field. She had her first son at 20 years old and her second son two years later. The single mom did a variety of jobs to survive and raise her two boys, the oldest of whom is autistic. To make money, Shurretta turned to underground boxing in 2012 and fought over 100 fights, sometimes fighting as often as twice a week. In 2016 she turned pro and hasn’t stopped moving forward since—winning her first world title in October 2024 at Madison Square Garden with a unanimous decision against then-IBF champion Miyo Yoshida. Metcalf returned to MSG to compete for the undisputed bantamweight world title against Cherneka Johnson in the preliminary card headliner of MVP and Netflix’s Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 all-women’s mega-event in July 2025 and most recently defeated fellow top 118lb contender Krystal Rosado on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 16 in October 2025. Outside her boxing career, the industrious Metcalf owns and runs a boutique and salon, works as a personal trainer, and has a mobile bartending business. She is also launching her own line of workout clothes called Elite Essence.

She began her combat sports journey at six, earning a black belt in karate by 11 before beginning boxing and kickboxing. At 16, she scored a 28-second knockout in her boxing debut and went on to capture three Canadian national titles between 2009 and 2018, persevering through her mother’s battle with breast cancer and her own struggles with depression. Turning professional in 2019, Galle built an undefeated record while balancing her career with family, ultimately delivering the Canadian super bantamweight title to her mother’s hospital bed before her passing in 2022. Galle rebounded with a string of victories, overcoming a broken hand and capturing the IBO bantamweight world championship in December 2023, which she defended successfully in 2024. She signed with MVP in June 2025, and earned a unanimous decision win over Mexico’s Alondra Hernandez in her promotional debut on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 15 in September 2025. Galle most recently contended for the undisputed bantamweight world title against Cherneka Johnson on Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day in December 2025 in a bloody war that went to the scorecards.

June 13, 2026 — Zuffa Boxing announced today that unbeaten light heavyweight prospect Nasheed “Sugar Sheed” Smith has signed a long-term promotional contract with the company. Smith, a 6-foot-2 southpaw from Washington, DC, is the latest standout to emerge from Barry Hunter’s renowned Headbangers Boxing Gym.

The 25-year-old Smith (10-0, 7 KOs) is trained and managed by Hunter, who has worked with the likes of Gervonta Davis, Lamont Peterson, Isaac Dogboe, Adrien Broner, Austin Trout, and Sharmba Mitchell. 

Smith’s Zuffa Boxing debut will be announced at a later date.

“Washington, DC, has produced many great fighters, and I am proud to follow in that tradition,” Smith said. “This is the start of the ‘Sugar Sheed’ era, and I’m looking to take over the light heavyweight division. Smith grew up practicing taekwondo and watching UFC fights with his father before stepping into Hunter’s gym for the first time at age 10. As an amateur, he captured five national titles, including gold medals at the 2022 National Golden Gloves and USA National Championships. Smith further honed his craft in sparring sessions with elite fighters such as Peterson, Shawn Porter, Erickson Lubin, and Jarrett Hurd.

He turned professional in November 2023 with a first-round knockout victory and has already recorded six stoppages within two rounds. Smith last fought in April in Baltimore, earning a dominant decision over Michael Nelson.

GLENDALE, Ariz. Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez added a third division title with his sixth round knockout of Antonio Vargas Saturday, yet his career goal of a showdown with Naoya Inoue remained unclear in the immediate aftermath of his successful debut at bantamweight.

Trainer Robert Garcia said he wanted Bam to fight once more at 118 pounds before any deal is made to face Inoue.

“We’ve talked about January or February, next year, for the Inoue fight,’’ Garcia Said after Bam knocked down Vargas after some rocky moments in front of a roaring crowd åt Desert Diamond Arena. “We can still do that. That doesn’t have to change.But I want Bam to have one more fight at 118. We can do that in September or October.’’

Bam (24-0, 17 KOs) struggled at times in the early going against Vargas, who leaned on him and backed him up with a succession of punches.

Not until the fifth round did Bam make a key adjustment. It started where it usually does: His feet. With his singular footwork, he stepped to the left of Vargas (19-2-1, 11KOs) and delivered a textbook left hand, putting the World Boxing Association’s defending champion onto the canvas.

In the sixth, Bam did it again, this time ending Vargas’ one-fight reign as the WBA champion.

In an interview inside the ring, Bam was asked about Inoue.

“If you’re asking me if I’m ready, I’m going to say yes,’’ he said. “I’m going to say yes I’m ready for anyone and yes I’m ready for whatever my team plans next.”

This Cardenas scores unanimous decision, wins rematchtime there was no debate. No trash talk either.

Arturo Cardenas made sure of it Saturday, scoring a unanimous decision over Jordan Martinez in a rematch at Desert Diamond Arena.

“I did what I didn’t last time, said Cardenas (18-0-2), who fought Martinez to a draw in early February.” I was aggressive early. I didn’t give away those rounds.’’

Martinez (16-1-1), a popular Phoenix fighter, didn’t quarrel with the result, despite at least one debatable score, a 100-90 shutout. On the other cards, it was 98-92 and 97-93, both for Cardenas

Turkish champion retains belt in narrow win over Gabby Tellez

Elif Nur Turhan kept the belt. Gabby Tellez got the cheers.

In a close and somewhat awkward fight for the women’s International Boxing Federation lightweight title Saturday at Desert Diamond Arena, the bigger Turhan sustained an aggressive pace, scoring enough points on the scorecards for a unanimous decision — 96-94 on all cards — over Tellez (7-1, 3 KOs).

With Phoenix trainer Jose Benavidez Jr. in her corner, Tellez circled Turhan, a powerful Turk, throughout the 10 rounds. Turhan landed a couple of long punches in the final couple of rounds, which might have been just enough to claim a victory that allowed here to take the belt back to Turkey

Terraza wins quick stoppage

Terraza said he knew victory was just a matter of time.

That time came swiftly.

And decisively.

Within two rounds, Terraza, an unbeaten junior-lightweight from Mexico, overwhelmed a shorter Javier Rodriguez, who was down midway through the round and finished within its final few seconds. 

Rodriguez (10-1, 6 KOs), who grew up in the Glendale neighborhood surrounding Desert Diamond Arena, simply had no counter for Terreza’s  reach. Terraza (14-0, 10 KOs) knocked him down with an overhand right and then folllowed with successive punches from all angles.

Trini Ochoa lands right to land back in win column

Trini Ochoa, a popular junior welterweight from Mesa, got back into the win column Saturday. All he needed was a right hand.

It landed, flooring Tristan Perez (12-5-1, 7 KOs) Saturday in a stunning second round at Desert Diamond Arena. Ochoa was coming off his first defeat

Esquina delivers punishing stoppage

It was punishing.

Punishing mostly for Sepu Taylor.

Xechal Esquina, an undefeated featherweight from Phoenix, tirelessly moved forward for six-plus rounds, landing shots that echoed throughout Desert Diamond Saturday on a card featuring Bam Rodriguez-Antonio Vargas.

Somehow, Taylor (1-2-1), of Denver stay edupright. Early in the sixth, however, he began to back away on unsteady feet, At 2:39 of the round, he was down. And done, a bruised stoppage loser to a relentless attack Esquina (6-0, 5 KOs).

Hector Beltran wins second round TKO

Hector Beltran Jr., who calls himself Handsome, must have looked scary to Shaquile Felicia.

Beltran (8-0, 6 KOs), a junior-middleweight From Dallas, threw a quick combo that dropped Felicia (3-2). It also left Felicia with a look that seemed to say he’d rather be back home in Anchorage. Seconds and few more combos later, he was finished, a TKO loser at 2:53 of the round.

First Bell: Ronny Alvarez stoppage opens the show

With temperatures pushing 110 degrees, a small crowd began to escape and gather inside Desert Diamond Arena.

Anything for a little air conditioning.

In the ring, however, Cuban super-middleweight Ronny Alvarez (7-0, 6 KOs) continued to pour on the heat, scoring a seventh round stoppage of Serbia Flip Stankovic (9-4, 6 KOs) Saturday afternoon in the opening bout on a card featuring Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez-Antonio Vargas.  

In a battle of debuting junior welterweights, Jully Poca won a four-round unanimous decision over Monica Medina.

Poca, 139.8 of LeAndre, BRA won by scores of 39-37 and 40-36 twice and is 1-0. Medina, 138.8 lbs of Biloxi. MS is 0-1.

Keno Marley destroyed Jordan Gruszewski in the opening round of their four-round cruiserweight bout.

In round one, Marley dropped Gruszewski with a hard right hand. Seconds later, Marley landed a big flurry on Gruszewski that forced a referee stoppage at 2:16.

Marley, 199 lbs of Sai Paulo, BRA is 2-0 with one knockouts. Gruszewski, 196.4 lbs of Westlake, OH is 5-2-1.

Jordan Orozco kept his perfect knockout streak intact as he stopped the durable Fernando Diaz after round three of their eight-round bantamweight bout.

In round three, Orozco landed a combination on the ropes and then a right to the head put Diaz on the canvas.

After round three, the corner of Diaz had seen enough.

Orozco, 118 lbs of Miami is 17-0 with 17 knockouts. Diaz, 117.6 lbs of Riverside, CA is 16-8.

LeAnna Cruz remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Rubi Gutierrez in a super flyweight bout.

In round four, Cruz landed a big flurry in the corner and put Gutierrez down with an uppercut to the body.

In round five, it was another body shot that put Gutierrez down again.

Cruz landed 198 of 493 punches. Gutierrez was 87 of 491.

Cruz, 114.6 of Allentown, PA won by scores of 79-61 twice and 78-74 and is now 12-0. Gutierrez, 114 lbs of Santillo, MEX is 8-4-1.

Jadden Addison drilled Zavier Davis in the opening round of their four round lightweight bout.

Addison laned a right hook to the temple that sent Davis down face first and the fight was immediately stopped at 1:04,

Addison, 136.6 lbs of Tamoa, FL is 2-0 with one knockout. Davis, 135.6 lbs of San Antonio, TX is 0-1.

Brittany Sims won a eight-round unanimous decision over Naomy Cardenas in a bantamweight fight.

In round two, Cardenas was bleeding from her left ear.

Sims, 117.6 lbs of Bethlehem, PA won by scores of 79-73 and 78-74 twice and is now 10-3. Cardenas, 117.4 lbs of Chihuahua, MEX is 10-2.

Pedro Veitia stopped Taiawo Afolabi in round five of their six-round middleweight bour.

In round three, Veitia was credited with a knockdown when he hit Afolabi with a hard right that had the ropes keeping him up

In round five, Veitia landed a crushing left hook that wobbled Afolabi into the ropes and the fight was stopped at 1:24.

Veitia, 162.8 lbs of Orlando is 8-0-1 with eight knockouts. Afolabi, 161.6 lbs of Staten Island, NY is 6-1.

Sa’Rai Brown-El made successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Ashley Felix in a light flyweight bout.

Undefeated South Jersey heavyweights Josh “The Hammer” Popper and Bruce “2.0” Seldon Jr. made weight Friday ahead of Saturday’s Boxing Insider Promotions card at the Tropicana Atlantic City Showroom. Popper, of Egg Harbor Township, weighed 250 pounds. Seldon Jr., of Smithville, weighed 236 pounds. The six round heavyweight main event tops a seven fight card, with the first bell at 7:30 PM ET.

The card marks the 21st show for Boxing Insider Promotions since October 2022, with events staged in New York City and Atlantic City and expansion into additional markets planned. The series has been billed as the last American club boxing series, presenting regional professional cards on a regular schedule at a time when most U.S. promoters have moved away from the club model.

CRANSTON, RI – CES Boxing returns to The Park on Saturday, June 27 with Rhode Wars 6, an exciting night of professional boxing showcasing some of the region’s brightest up-and-coming talent.

Among the featured attractions is rising super middleweight prospect William Guilmette (2-0, 2 KOs), who will compete in his home state as a professional for the first time in a four-round showdown against Tyler Riley. The Coventry native has showcased both power and poise during the early stages of his professional career and continues to develop into a fighter to watch in the New England boxing scene.

Cranston’s own unbeaten prospect Tyler “My Time” Macari (3-0, 3 KOs) returns to the Park for the second time this year in a four-round super welterweight contest.  Macari has quickly emerged as one of the area’s most promising young fighters and will seek to extend both his perfect record and knockout streak.

Another undefeated prospect in action is Johnston’s Kevin Mojica (4-0, 4 KOs), who will battle Colombia’s Yeison Berdugo in a four-round welterweight bout. The Dominican-born prospect has impressed since turning professional in 2025 with his aggressive style and growing fan base throughout New England.

Someone’s ‘O’ has to go when Norwalk, CT’s Victor Guerra Vargas (2-0, 2 KOs) squares off against Providence’s Raheem Davis (2-0, 2 KOs) in a New England welterweight showdown. With both fighters carrying perfect records and 100 percent knockout ratios, the bout promises to steal the show.

Also scheduled to compete is popular New Bedford, MA super bantamweight Josh “The One” Alvarado (4-1, 2 KOs), who returns in a six-round contest against an opponent to be announced.  Alvarado has won four of his last five bouts and continues to establish himself as one of the region’s most exciting young prospects.

Wilkens Mathieu scored an eighth round stoppage over Esquiva Falcao in round eight of their 10-round super middleweight fight in Quebec, Canada.

Yoann Kongolo and Mehmet Unal fought to a 10-round majority draw in a light heavyweight bout

Kingolo, 174.8 lbs of Geneva, SWI won by a 96-94 and two cards were even at 05-95 and is now 18-3-2. Unal, 174.6 lbs of Montreal is 15-0-1.

Moreno Fendero stopped Jonathan Gonzalez in round eight of their 10-round super middleweight bout.

In round six, Fendero dropped Gonzalez with a big left hand. In round eight, Montero viciously opened up with both hands and the fight was stopped at 1:02.

Fendero, 167 lbs of Montreal is 15-0 with 11 Knockouts. Gonzalez, 167 lbs of Puerto Rico is 20-2-1.

Thomas Chabot won a 10-round majority decision over Jose Antonio Sampedro in a featherweight bout.

Chabot, 125.7 lbs of Quebec won by scores of 97-93, 96-94 and 95-95 and is now 13-1. Sampedro,, 124.1 lba of Mexico is 13-3-1.

Erik Israyelyan stopped Johan Guzman in at 2:51 of the first round.

WBC lightweight world champion “Sweet” Caroline Dubois fights out of London, England. Her amateur career was nothing short of legendary, a dominant run that included winning the gold medal at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, becoming England’s first World Youth Champion (2018), and capturing four European Youth Championship titles between 2016 and 2019. This amateur dominance earned her the prestigious BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award in 2019. In 2021, she represented Team GB at the Tokyo Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals. Dubois made her professional debut in February 2022 and quickly established herself in the lightweight division. In September 2023, she earned her first major professional title, winning the vacant IBO lightweight world title via unanimous decision. Her ascent continued in August 2024, when she defeated Maira Moneo to claim the WBC Interim lightweight title. Following a relinquishment of the title, Dubois was elevated to become the WBC lightweight world champion in December 2024. A member of USA Boxing since 2011, Moore built an impressive amateur and professional career highlighted by national titles at the National Golden Gloves Championships and the USA Boxing National Championships. She also captured gold medals at the Elite National Championships and National PAL Championships, earned a bronze medal at the 2022 Continental Championships in Ecuador, and represented Team USA in international competition around the world. A longtime Olympic hopeful, Moore qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials and served as an alternate for Team USA during the Tokyo Olympic cycle. Moore made her pro debut in November 2024. NEWARK, N.J. — RDR Promotions’ “Crossroads at Brick City” event lived up to its billing on Saturday, June 6 as Nimal Farmer earned the biggest victory of his professional career and Anthony Johns captured the IBF North American junior bantamweight title at Prudential Center.

Farmer (7-1-2, 4 KOs) headlined the show with an impressive unanimous decision victory over Newark veteran Michael “Slick” Anderson (25-5-1, 19 KOs). The 25-year-old switch-hitter from Lindenwold, New Jersey earned scores of 80-72, 80-72 and 79-73 after displaying speed, combination punching and ring generalship throughout the eight-round main event. It was a much needed win for Farmer as he was coming off his first defeat and two draws in his last three fights. 

In the co-main event, Newark’s Anthony Johns (12-1, 6 KOs) captured the vacant IBF North America junior bantamweight title with a hard-fought split decision victory over Mexico’s Angel Geovanny Meza Morales (11-5-3, 7 KOs).

Johns prevailed by scores of 98-92 and 96-94, while the third judge favored Morales by a score of 99-91 in a competitive ten-round battle. The former National Golden Gloves champion applied steady pressure and effective body work in the late rounds to secure the victory. The victory in his first ten-round fight places Johns in position to pursue higher rankings and bigger opportunities in the 115-pound division.

One of the evening’s most impressive performances came from undefeated Philadelphia prospect Juan Rivera V, who improved to 11-0 (5 KOs) with a dominant unanimous decision over Chuckie Driver (12-2, 7 KOs). Rivera’s sharp combinations, movement and body punching carried him to scores of 100-89, 100-89 and 99-90.

Newark’s Muadh Abdus-Salaam continued his rise through the professional ranks, improving to 5-0 (2 KOs) with a third-round stoppage of Michael Ruiz (2-10-2). The former Delaware State University football standout scored a first-round knockdown and controlled the action throughout before forcing the stoppage. His younger brother Zahir Abdus-Salaam (4-0, 1 KO), a former Western Michigan University running back, needed just 20 seconds to stop Caleb Dodson (0-2) of Oklahoma, scoring a knockout with a perfectly timed left hook.

Fellow Newark prospect Yoel “Boy Boy” Cooper remained unbeaten, improving to 2-0 (2 KOs) with a second-round knockout of Ricardo Elizalde (0-3). The 18-year-old showcased poise beyond his years, breaking down his opponent behind a consistent jab before earning the stoppage 56 seconds into the second round.

Former amateur rivals Bernard Gardner (1-1-1, 1 KO) and Famous Wilson (4-0-1, 2 KOs) fought to an entertaining four-round draw, with all three judges returning identical 38-38 scorecards.

Linden’s Tayvon Fish made a successful professional debut after nearly nine years away from competition, stopping Rahmel McKinley (1-4) with a body shot in the second round of their welterweight contest.

Elizabeth cruiserweight Vladimir Dalton improved to 3-0 (1 KO) with a first-round knockout of previously unbeaten Ibrahima Fofana (2-1, 2 KOs), while Daniel Ivanovski improved to 6-0 (4 KOs) with a unanimous decision victory over Najm Khan (1-1) in the evening’s opening bout.

London, UK – [June 9, 2026] — DAZN, the global home of boxing, has today confirmed a deal with UK boxing promoter BOXXER, which will see the promotion deliver major fight nights on the platform in the coming months, including a premium Pay?Per?View event scheduled for later this year.

The first event will be the highly anticipated rematch between Troy Williamson and Callum Simpson on Saturday, August 8 at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds. The bout follows their first meeting in December which saw Troy Williamson flooring Simpson four times in the tenth round before forcing a stoppage to secure a TKO victory, winning the British, Commonwealth and European super?middleweight titles in the process.

LAS VEGAS (June 8, 2026) — Raymond “Danger” Muratalla (24-0, 17 KOs) will make the second defense of his IBF Lightweight World Championship against Brazilian former world champion Robson “O Brabo” Conceição (21-3-1, 10 KOs).

Muratalla-Conceição will serve as the co-feature to the Roach Jr. vs. Zepeda card on Saturday, Aug. 1, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. This fight is presented by Top Rank.

Muratalla, from Fontana, California, debuted as a pro in 2016 and steadily rose the lightweight ranks. His standout performances include second-round stoppages of big-punching Jeremia Nakathila in May 2023 and Jesus Perez in November 2024. In May 2025, Muratalla defeated Zaur Abdullaev to become the interim IBF lightweight world champion. He was elevated to full champion the following month after Vasiliy Lomachenko announced his retirement. In February, he outpointed Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz to retain his crown in his best performance to date.

Conceição, Brazil’s first Olympic boxing gold medalist, repeatedly challenged the sport’s elite before winning a world title on his fourth attempt. After setbacks to Oscar Valdez and Shakur Stevenson, he battled Emanuel Navarrete to a majority draw in November 2023 before edging O’Shaquie Foster to capture the WBC junior lightweight world title in July 2024. Conceição lost the belt to Foster in their rematch that November but has since scored two victories at home.

Moscow, RUSSIA – Unbeaten heavyweight contender Artem Suslenkov will take on Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce on July 11 as part of the blockbuster IBA Pro 19 card headlined by Murat Gassiev’s WBA Heavyweight title defence against Tony Yoka in Moscow.

Suslenkov (14-0, 9 KOs) will look to cement his status as a genuine world-level heavyweight when he faces off against the formidable Joyce over ten rounds, with the WBA Continental Heavyweight title up for grabs for the winner.

The Volgograd-born banger has blasted his way to a perfect professional record since his debut in December 2018, but faces the stiffest test of his career so far against the vastly experienced, heavy-handed ‘Juggernaut’, who himself will be eyeing a return to world championship contention with a win on away soil.

After an impressive third-round TKO of former world-title challenger Artur Mann back in April, another eye-catching showing against the battle-hardened Joyce could see the 30-year-old in line for a shot at the winner of July 11’s main event, and with it, a potential all-Russian showdown with WBA kingpin Gassiev.

“Joyce is a powerful opponent with strong technique and vast experience,” said Suslenkov, who is currently ranked at #9 in the WBA Heavyweight ratings.

“This is a serious challenge. I feel both excitement and full focus. Meticulous preparation and the right tactics to neutralise his strengths will be crucial.

“This is a chance to show my level and give the fans something to cheer about. Joyce is a strong, pressure-fighting heavyweight with heavy hands and a great deal of experience.

Putney puncher Joyce (16-4, 15 KOs), however, has aspirations of his own, and will enter July 11’s showpiece event with the knowledge that a win over Suslenkov could see the 6ft 6” giant back in line for a shot at one of the heavyweight division’s leading names.

With a slew of dominant stoppage victories on his CV – including dominant KO wins over current WBO Heavyweight challenger Daniel Dubois and former titleholder Joseph Parker, among others – Joyce has established himself as one of the heavyweight division’s most recognisable names.

Now under the guidance of esteemed trainer Javon ‘Sugar Hill’ Steward, Joyce will travel to Moscow fully confident of springing the upset and re-establishing himself as a top dog in boxing’s marquee division.

“I’ve spent the last year preparing, training and wanting to be back in the ring,” said Joyce.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to travel to Russia and challenge for the WBA Continental Heavyweight title on July 11.
