Heavy-hitting rivals Teremoana Teremoana (11-0, 11 KOs) and DeAndre Savage (11-1, 11 KOs) traded verbal blows for the first time as they went head-to-head in a virtual face-off with Matchroom Sport Chairman, Eddie Hearn ahead of their August 12 showdown at The Star Gold Coast, live on DAZN’s Kayo Sports.

Between them, Teremoana and Savage have a combined 22 knockouts in 22 wins, a staggering statistic that makes this one of the most anticipated heavyweight collisions on Australian soil in years.

Teremoana, the Brisbane-based Paris Olympian, has blitzed through his opposition since turning professional in December 2024, reeling off seven straight stoppages. Savage, the 35-year-old American, has been just as ruthless, with his only career blemish a points loss to Brandon Moore, every other outing ending inside the distance.

Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn says the virtual face-off – available to watch in full below – only sharpens the picture of what’s coming.

Hearn said:“You look at that face-off and you see two men who genuinely do not miss when they land. Teremoana is the future of this division, but Savage is exactly the kind of live opponent that proves it. Nobody else wanted this fight, but Savage did, and now we get to see what happens when two knockout artists collide.”

Teremoana said: “Seeing him up close, even virtually, you get a sense of what’s coming on August 12. He’s dangerous, he’s proven, and he’s undefeated by knockout for a reason. But this is exactly the kind of test I need on the road to becoming heavyweight world champion. I can’t wait to do this in front of my people on the Gold Coast.”

He laid down the challenge to Savage, baiting him by saying: “Prepare well these next few weeks because standing in front of you is a big challenge. I’m telling you now, you’re not going to get through it.”

Savage responded: “I’m ready to fight tomorrow. This has been one of the best camps I’ve been in. I’m ready get down there and show the world what I can do”.

The virtual face-off comes as part of a stacked August 12 card that also features Matchroom’s newest signing, ‘Pretty Boy’ Michael Zerafa (34-5-0, 22 KOs), returning to the ring in a co-main event against Alejandro Ortiz, an opponent who comes with an intimidating knockout record, having stopped 25 of his 25 victories.

Plus fans will be treated to a quality undercard featuring WBO-ranked Super Middleweight contender Jack Bowen (13-1, 10 KOs); a 50-50 Flyweight decider between Jasmine Parr (8-2, 3 KOs) and Jemma Peart (9-1, 3 KOs); and unbeaten Toowoomba prospect Lekesha Woodbridge (4-0, 3 KOs) against Thailand’s Sothita Sitthical (13-5, 4 KOs).

LONDON, ENGLAND – July 28, 2026 – Today at Glaziers Hall in London, England, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Sky Sports hosted the kickoff press conference for MVPW-06 UK vs. USA, officially launching the highly anticipated event set for Saturday, August 29 at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England. Live on Sky Sports in the UK and ESPN+ in the U.S., MVPW-06 will feature a main card composed entirely of UK vs. USA matchups, continuing MVP’s commitment to elevating women’s boxing on the global stage.

The press conference featured the event’s main card talent, including headliners MVP’s unified WBA and WBC super welterweight champion and ESPN’s #7 P4P Mikaela Mayer (22-2, 5 KOs) and MVP’s WBO super welterweight champion and ESPN’s #5 P4P Chantelle Cameron (22-1, 8 KOs). Even though we only have two minutes to be a little smarter, hit and don’t get hit. I’ve been working on more defense and more output. I’ve had a high punch count, high volume, but just making it more clear and not letting the combo get returned on me.

We’ve known each other for a long time from the amateurs. We’ve stayed in contact through social media, and we’ve been very open about the fact that one day when she moved up, we would step into the ring together.

Well, I think that if you’re a Brit and you want to root for me, you can because you’re technically not going against your country, because I feel like I’m an adopted Brit. I’m like 73% British. I just checked my 23andMe. So, I feel like I’m a little bit of both.

I’m rooting for my team. I think I’ve got a strong team over here, Team USA.

I fought the best, the second-best woman in the 135 division, Terri Harper. I beat her, and now I’m fighting Amelia Moore, who I also believe is a very good fighter.

On no longer training with Shane McGuigan:

I’m so happy and proud of the journey that we’ve had together. I’ve become the unified world champion. It’s a step up on a bigger show for me. But as you said, I’ve already fought for some big titles. I’ve kind of come here as an underdog and a bit unknown because I’ve been fighting for my titles on small hall shows. However, all of these opponents that I’ve fought for these titles against, they’ve all been good, hard opponents. Reina is a good, hard opponent, but a lot of my other opponents have been as well.

I am an entertaining fighter, and I put my whole heart into it. I put everything that I possibly can into every fight that I can. Every fight to me is like a world title fight. So, I think there’s a good chance that I could steal the show.

The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association (WBA) has declared René Santiago Champion in Recess and approved a bout between Daiya Kira and Carlos Cañizales for the WBA World Light Flyweight (108 lbs.) Championship.

Santiago was scheduled to defend his crown against Kira, the division’s mandatory challenger. However, his team informed the Committee that an injury would prevent him from fulfilling the mandatory defense. As a result, the WBA requested all relevant medical documentation for review by its Medical Committee before reaching a decision.

WBA Rule C.14 states that when a World Champion is unable to defend his title within the prescribed time periods due to medical, legal, or other justifiable reasons reasonably beyond his control, the inactive champion may be designated Champion in Recess, and the Committee may order the appropriate championship bout in accordance with WBA Rules C.22 through C.24. Medical reasons must be documented to the satisfaction of the Chairman of the Medical Committee, who may require additional medical examinations or reports.

Following its review, the Committee decided to designate Santiago as Champion in Recess and ordered a championship bout between the WBA’s No. 1-ranked contender, Japan’s Daiya Kira, and the organization’s No. 2-ranked contender, Venezuela’s Carlos Cañizales. The two will meet for the vacant WBA World Light Flyweight Championship on September 2 in Yokohama, Japan.

The WBA Medical Committee will remain in communication with Santiago’s team to monitor the progress of his recovery and determine the timeline for his return, which must come against the winner of the Kira-Cañizales bout. Any issues that arise during this process will be resolved in accordance with WBA Rules.

LAS VEGAS – July 28, 2026 – A pair of undefeated rising stars have signed with Premier Boxing Champions as super lightweight Carlos Utria and middleweight Marco Romero seek to prove their mettle as future world champions.

The signing gives two young, unbeaten fighters the opportunity to fight on boxing’s biggest stages, exposing them to the wider boxing audiences. Hungry to display their skills, Utria and Romero are each eager to embark on this next journey of their professional careers.

“For me it is a great honor to sign with PBC, because it shows that I’m doing things right,” said Utria. “I know that I will not disappoint. This is going to be a new era of Colombian boxing, with myself and a lot of great prospects on the rise. One of the sport’s most acclaimed young prospects, the 22-year-old Utria (14-0, 11 KOs) most recently emerged victorious in the WBC Boxing Grand Prix and earned a top 10 ranking at 140-pounds. The five-victory run culminated in a unanimous decision over Mujimillo Tursunov in December, with his championship-winning run leading to him being named Boxing Scene’s 2025 Prospect of the Year.

A native of Soplaviento, Colombia, Utria is led into the ring by his father Lenyn Utria, who’s instilled his son with a versatile ring arsenal that’s allowed him to adapt to opponents of varying styles throughout his Grand Prix-winning run. Utria has fought professionally since 2023 and will look to continue his momentum stateside.

A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Romero (14-0, 12 KOs) had a stellar amateur career that included 23-national titles, most notably winning the 2024 National Golden Gloves title where he was named Outstanding Boxer of the Tournament. The 20-year-old turned pro in 2024 and has shown a propensity for ending fights early, with 11 of his 12 KO’s coming within three rounds.

Trained by top trainer John Brown, Romero added three victories against increasingly stiff competition in 2026, kicking off the year with a sixth-round stoppage of veteran Vaught Alexander. He followed that up by going eight rounds for the first time in a shutout victory over William Langston before most recently knocking out Andre Sherard in round one in May.

ATLANTA (July, 28 2026) — Unified WBA and WBC Middleweight World Champion Kaye Scott is fully focussed as she nears the final stretch of training camp in Australia ahead of her high-stakes showdown with Claressa Shields on Saturday, Aug. 15. Scott will defend her unified titles against the “GWOAT” and multi-division champion Shields live on DAZN (9 p.m. ET) from State Farm Arena.  

Scott enters this mega-fight fresh off a two-fight stretch with contender Olivia Curry. Their first meeting – a leading candidate for 2025 Fight of the Year – ended in a razor-thin majority draw. In the immediate rematch in December 2025, Scott outworked Curry in a back-and-forth brawl to capture the vacant WBA and WBC Middleweight titles.

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Scott’s journey to the peak of the sport is defined by resilience. Early in her career, she faced systemic hurdles – including historical state bans on women’s boxing in her home country – before carving out an amateur career spanning over 120 international bouts. Now, Scott is wrapping up camp in her hometown and fully prepared to defend her throne against Shields.

Here’s what she had to say as she closes out camp:

Having shared the ring with Shields early in her career, Scott carries a valuable advantage—knowing firsthand that behind the aura and accolades is an opponent who can be hit: 

“Sparring Claressa back in 2016 when I was a less experienced amateur helped me mentally. I was nervous heading into it, but once we got in there, I performed well, and my coach was happy. It reminded me that she’s human just like me. While I respect everything she’s accomplished, I don’t put her on a pedestal like everyone else does. She’s incredibly talented, but knowing I’ve landed shots on her before gives me confidence. If I bring my best A-game, she is beatable.”

While Shields has to cut weight from heavyweight to middleweight, Scott has spent her entire camp focused purely on technical execution, conditioning, and sharpening every tool:

“Middleweight is my natural weight class, so I haven’t had to focus on shedding pounds or cutting weight. Instead, I’ve been completely focused on refining my skills and making sure I’m technically on point to beat Claressa. I’m not dealing with weight stress, draining my energy, or feeling under-fueled. I know Claressa is a complete professional who has had plenty of time to work with her team and dietitian to execute a smart game plan. I’m expecting the absolute best version of Claressa Shields, and that’s exactly what I’ve prepared for. I’m going to take it round by round and execute what my corner tells me.”

Scott has refined her defense and footwork to ensure she can seamlessly adapt whether fighting at range or inside the pocket:

“Against her, I know I have to box, move my head, and stay active on my feet. I can’t be flat-footed or just stand in front of her. Camp has been about bringing the best version of myself – fitter, stronger, and more versatile physically and mentally.

“I’m not a one-dimensional fighter; I can box at long range and work on the inside. We’ve placed a massive focus on being defensively sound while having the ability to push the tempo and lift the pace within rounds whenever needed.”

Scott sees this fight as the ultimate motivation to prove her place at the top of the sport:

“I don’t feel forced into any particular style – my job is to win rounds and execute my coach’s game plan. The focus is simply on boxing the smartest fight possible, using my strengths while staying aware of hers.

“Defending these belts is even more motivating because I’m facing one of the most accomplished female fighters in history. That’s exactly where I want to be. “Looking strictly at a pro record is a very simplified way to analyze a fighter’s readiness. A high-level amateur pedigree allows you to fast-track your pro career – my first pro fight was an eight-rounder, which very few fighters do straight off the bat.

“My 120-plus amateur fights across the globe taught me how to adapt, solve problems under pressure, and perform on the world’s biggest stages. I’ve fought multiple 10-rounders and I am the unified world champion. There’ll always be doubters and uninformed people out there, but my experience gives me absolute confidence that I belong here.”

A CLASSIC FEATHERWEIGHT confrontation tops the bill when Queensberry return to Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live on Saturday 26 September, when Liam Davies takes up the challenge of Nathaniel Collins, live on DAZN.

It is England vs Scotland in the boxing ring, with Davies – the current European and WBO Intercontinental champion, trades blows with Glasgow’s ‘The Nightmare’ Collins, the former British, Commonwealth and WBC Silver champion.

Also on the card, middleweight Nathan ‘Hitman’ Heaney (19-2-1, 6 KOs) – along with his army of fans from the Potteries – will run it back with Gerome Warburton (17-2-2, 2 KOs) in what will be his farewell fight before retirement, after the Stoke favourite was outpointed by the Welshman back in March.

Olympian Luke McCormack (5-0, 3 KOs), fresh from his first 10-round super lightweight triumph over Kane Gardner in February, goes up against the undefeated Jack Power (8-0, 2 KOs).

Also at featherweight, the Morecambe starlet Nelson Birchall (11-0, 8 KOs) faces Gully Power (13-1-1, 1 KO), who fought to a draw in a British title clash with Rhys Edwards in April. Birchall, just 21, became English champion in March with a ninth-round stoppage of Ryan Griffiths.

Davies (18-1-0, 9 KOs) is establishing himself as a featherweight force after stepping up from super bantamweight, where he became IBO world champion, and won the European, British, WBC and WBO International titles.

Southpaw Collins (17-1-1, 8 KOs) will be determined to bounce back in a major fight following his first professional defeat in April against European champion Cristobal Lorente in Glasgow. That fight was a rematch of a drawn encounter in October 2025 and doubled as a final eliminator for the WBC world title.

Collins ultimately came off second best via a split decision but can put himself right back in the world title frame with a victory in Birmingham.

“There will be absolutely no quarter given in this first clutch of fights we are announcing for Birmingham on Saturday 26 September,” said promoter Frank Warren. It really can’t get much better at featherweight than Liam Davies being matched with Nathaniel Collins.

Most recently, Aokuso scored a victory in PBC action in April, as he stopped Kittipong Jian Hao Ho.

The 27-year-old Tejeda (12-0-1, 9 KOs) will fight for the first time outside of his native Dominican Republic on July 25, as the El Seibo native steps up to this battle of unbeatens. Tejeda has fought professionally since 2023 and enters this fight having stopped four of his last five opponents. His last outing saw him earn a fourth-round knockout of Vikensi Mateo in February.

Anthony Joshua insists he is standing “strong” and ready for the challenge of Kristian Prenga this Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – live worldwide on DAZN.

Two-time Heavyweight Joshua headlines the 13-fight extravaganza at the state-of-the-art Jeddah Superdome, where he collides with Albanian knockout artist Prenga – who boasts an impressive 20 wins, all by way of knockout, on his resumé.

“He’s very dangerous,”said Joshua, speaking abot his opponent Prenga at Thursday’s Press Conference on the Jeddah Promenade.

“He’s a very good fighter. Very dangerous fighter. Yes I believe it, I know it, I’ve studied it and I’m ready for it.

“I’ve been in the ring with some of the quickest Heavyweights, some of the fittest Heavyweights, I’ve fought some of the strongest Heavyweights, I’ve fought contenders, I’ve fought champions, I’ve been knocked down, I’ve been knocked out. 

“But I stand strong today and I’m ready for the challenge one million percent. We are going to find out on Saturday.”

Prenga is confident that he can cause an almighty upset this Saturday and drastically alter the course of the Heavyweight division in the process.

“Every boxer has their weaknesses and their faults in the ring. No matter who you are,” said Prenga.

“I’ve seen everything. I’ve said it before, I respect Anthony Joshua very much. I grew up watching all of his fights. I’ve seen his weakness, I’ve seen what he does best. On Saturday night I will show exactly what I have paid attention to.”

The RIng Magazine CEO, Rick Reeno, believes the element of intrigue for the Main Event should make fight fans tune in to watch ’The Comeback’ around the world on the Global Home of Boxing, DAZN.

“I’m intrigued by the fight coming up in two days because Prenga is an unknown commodity,”said Reeno. 

“When you have an unknown commodity it makes for a dangerous fight, especially when the guy is a puncher. That’s one thing we know about Prenga more than anything; he can punch. 

“AJ is dubbed by some as the landlord, he thinks there’s a lot of squatters right now in the Heavyweight division, he feels it is time to start collecting the rent again. NEW YORK – July 24, 2026 – Undefeated rising prospect Dominique “Trapp” Francis has big plans to make a statement on his biggest platform yet as the Fighters First Management signee makes his Zuffa debut this Sunday, July 26 on Paramount+ against Argentine contender Hector Andres Sosa.

“Sosa is a tough competitor,” said Francis (16-0, 10 KOs). “We haven’t gotten in there yet, but I’m preparing for the best version of him. I’m gonna go in there and do what I do. He’s not gonna lay down at all. We wanna get in there and shake and bake.

“I want to show everyone exactly who I am. I really know how to box. If people forgot, we’re gonna wake them up. I’m gonna stay disciplined and execute exactly what I need to execute. I want to show a different level of boxing.”

In his first fight since signing with Adrian Clark and Fighters First in 2025, Francis envisions his career hitting the fast lane following an extended absence from the ring since stopping the previously unbeaten Julio Carrera Lugo in October 2024.

“Fighters First Management has really put everything on the right track in my career,” said Francis. “I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’ve been staying diligent every single day and now it’s gonna be my time.”

The Opa-Locka, Miami-native Francis entered the Lugo fight as an underdog, but stole the show in a performance that showed his considerable potential in the sport. Despite now having a strong management and promotional team behind him, Francis insists that his underdog mentality will not waver.

“I’ve been an underdog my whole life, but every dog has his day,” said Francis. “I’m a different type of dog. I treat every opportunity like it’s the fight of my life. Because you don’t know if you’re gonna make it out.”

While Francis’ fight on Sunday is at super featherweight, he acknowledges that he could potentially end up competing for championships at lightweight, a division featuring several top Zuffa fighters. Although these big names loom over his future, Francis has made sure to remain focused on making his own name first.

“I gotta take it one step at a time,” said Francis. “I’m not looking at those other dogs. When I come on the scene and make my noise, they’re gonna have to worry about me. I’m coming to shake it up.”

Without a fight in 2025, the 25-year-old Francis still aimed to make the most of his time, and did so by traveling out to Nebraska to spend time in training camp with boxing legend Terence Crawford. Showing his passion to reach the top tier of boxing, Francis and his father went out to Nebraska with no official invite, instead using the knowledge of Francis’ uncle to find Crawford’s gym and put in work with an eye on one of the generation’s best.

“Me and my dad were just trying to make stuff happen,” said Francis. “It was a really good experience seeing Crawford’s mindset up close. You see that he carries himself like a regular dude, and everyone gravitates to him. That let me show that I just need to keep being myself.”

With veteran coach Derik Santos, along with his father Smith Francis, in his corner, Francis explained his mentality in training camp and how his dedication to hard work day after day helps him be prepared for anything that can happen in the ring.

“I trust my team and I trust my ability,” said Francis. “If you watch too much, you might expect something and then they switch it up on you. You have to be able to make adjustments when you’re in there.

“I like to be a master at what I do, so I love the repetition. I always work hard, so this camp is just more of the same. I’m not trying to play around with a man who’s gonna stand in front of me and try to take my head off.”

ATLANTA (June 22, 2026) – Undefeated middleweight contender Troy Isley will face Joe Hicks in a showdown of 2020 U.S. Olympic rivals on Saturday, Aug. 15 live on DAZN in a 10-round featured bout of the Claressa Shields vs. Kaye Scott blockbuster event from State Farm Arena in Atlanta. 

In a co-featured bout, former Puerto Rican Olympian and undefeated contender Ashleyann Lozada will face former world title challenger Paulette Cuesta in a 10-round women’s super bantamweight matchup. In the DAZN opener, WBC Women’s Super Featherweight Champion Caroline Veyre will make the first defense of her title against undefeated challenger Bernice Ferreira.  

The three bouts round out the five-fight DAZN worldwide broadcast that begins at 9 p.m. ET following live streaming coverage on Zeus Network at 6 p.m. ET. It was announced on Thursday that knockout artist and rising star Ernesto “Tito” Mercado will face Emmanuel Tagoe in the 10-round super lightweight co-main event prior to Shields vs. Scott.

Isley and Hicks were teammates on the 2020 U.S. Men’s Olympic Boxing Team, with Isley advancing to the round of 16 while Team Captain Hicks missed out due to changes in qualifying after the Games were delayed by the Covid pandemic. To Hicks, the changes benefitted Isley, who took his spot on the team. To Isley, the better and more experienced man earned his place in Japan. Now the longtime teammates become rivals in a showdown that may position the winner to challenge for a world title.

“Transformer” Isley (16-0, 6 KOs), of Alexandria, Va., is fresh off a fifth-round TKO of Leonardo Di Stefano on June 14 in Grand Rapids, Mich. The 27-year-old scored two knockdowns in the empathic victory and called out middleweight champions Erislandy Lara and Carlos Adames in his post-fight interview. Prior to June 14, Isley won a hard-fought unanimous decision over Etoundi Michel William in June of 2025 in Norfolk, Va. In 2024, Isley soundly defeated former U.S. Olympian teammate Javier Martinez, who holds two amateur victories over Hicks at the U.S. Olympic Trials. 

“I made easy work of Javier Martinez and I’m going to do the same to Joe Hicks,” said Isley referring to his former Olympic teammates. “I’m hungry and I’m coming different. Fans are going to see a version of Troy Isley, the best version. I’m going to put this Olympic talk to bed with Joe.

“It feels good to be right back and this time on a Claressa card. Last year was a down year for me – I didn’t fight as much as I wanted. My plan was to be busy this year. I’ve been with Salita Promotions for two months and this is already my second fight.”

Hicks (12-1, 7 KOs) bounced back from his first professional defeat with a decision victory over Todd Manuel on Feb. 10 in his hometown of Grand Rapids. The 32-year-old made history as one of the first professional fighters to compete for the U.S. Boxing Team, but changes to the qualifying process due to Covid prevented him from competing in the postponed Games despite being named Team Captain. 

“Troy Isley is a tight opponent, but I am confident in my skills as a boxer puncher and counter puncher. We have history from the Olympics and on fight night I’m going to get it back in blood and prove I have always been the better fighter.

“I’m happy to be back in the ring. I’ve had long layoffs and only fought twice in the past year, but I stay in the gym so I’m ready for any opportunity. I’m grateful to be on the GWOAT card and God will make sure I come out of it with my hand raised on Aug. 15.”

Lozada (4-0, 1 KOs) was the first female Olympic boxer in Puerto Rican history. The native of Corozal is currently ranked No. 4 in the world by the WBA and coming off a win over longtime two-division champion Debora Anahi Dionicius in May. The 35-year-old southpaw turned professional in 2025 after a lengthy amateur career and has fought four times in less than 18 months as her level of opposition has steadily increased.

Lozada will face her toughest test on Aug. 15 in Cuesta, the No. 6 ranked contender in the WBA, with the winner positioned to challenge No. 3 ranked Phannerai Netisri in a WBA world title eliminator. Cuesta (19-5-1, 4 KOs), of Tijuana, Mexico, is coming off a decision win over previously undefeated Karla Davis in June in Puerto Rico. In 2023 she challenged longtime super bantamweight titleholder Yamileth Mercado. 

“I am more than ready to take on Ashleyann Lozada,” said Cuesta, who recently defeated the No. 6 ranked contender. “She has never faced a strong, determined, experienced Mexican like me. I will bring home a great victory for Mexico on August 15.” 

Veyre (11-1) won the vacant WBC Super Featherweight World Championship with a decisive unanimous decision over longtime former champion and contender Delfine Persoon, who had previously faced women’s boxing superstars Alycia Baumgardner and Katie Taylor. The 37-year-old Veyre, of Montreal by way of Paris, had previously faced former world title challenger Licia Boudersa, winning a near-shutout decision in her fifth consecutive fight in Michigan. On Aug. 15, Veyre faces just the second undefeated challenger of her career in her first title defense.

“I can’t wait to get back in the ring, can’t wait to be on the undercard with Claressa Shields,” Veyre said. “But more than anything, I can’t wait to defend my title for the first time, and go get another one while I’m at it. My opponent is 10-0 and an IBO champion, and that’s exactly why I want this fight. I didn’t become a world champion to duck challenges. I want to prove I’m the champion of this division, and the only way to do that is by facing the other champions.” 

Ferreira (10-0, 4 KOs) will fight outside of her native South Africa for the first time, where she has compiled 10 wins in just three years. In her last two bouts, the 34-year-old won a wide decision over Ellen Simwaka and a near-shutout over former world title challenger Nozipho Bell. Ferreira, who currently holds the IBO super featherweight belt, is ranked in the top five by two of the major sanctioning bodies – No. 2 by the IBF and No. 4 – as well as No. 9 by the WBO.

Alan Chaves will defend his WBO Latino Lightweight title against Eridson Garcia at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Friday September 4, the third headline show of TNT Sports and DAZN’s “The Fight,” the new monthly live boxing series, and will be broadcast co-exclusively in the U.S. on TNT, truTV and DAZN and worldwide on DAZN – a night headlined by the return of the former unified Heavyweight ruler Andy Ruiz who faces Polish giant Damian Knyba.

HANOVER, MD.–(JULY 21, 2026)–On July 18, Jeter Promotions presented its 21st Night of Championship Professional Boxing at Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, featuring an action-packed card from top to bottom.

After fighting away from home for the majority of his career, Reno’s Davis (16-2-1, 4 KOs) packed the Grande Exposition Hall in March and sent them home happy with an eight-round decision to successfully defend his title against rugged Orlando Zepeda.

“The majority of my fights have been on the road, so to display my skills in my backyard was a very special moment for me,” recalls Davis. “To be a part of bringing professional boxing back to Northern Nevada was a huge moment for me.”

With eyes on advancing up the rankings, Davis will take a step-up against former regional champion Matt Conway (23-5-1, 10 KOs) in what could be the toughest fight of his career to date.

“Training camp was hard. There were times where I just wanted to go home. It took a while for my body to really get adjusted to pushing the pace and going all out.

“It feels good to be in Australia. It’s been dope and the people have been great. I’m ready to put on a show for everyone.

“People can think what they want to think about the weight, but on fight night they’re gonna see something different.”

“There’s nothing personal from me. This is such a big moment in my life, so I’m just taking it with both hands. I just want to do some damage and get myself to the next level. This is what it takes.

“Instead of a tactical fight, I want this to be a fight that makes him ask himself ‘how bad do you really want this?’ When you’ve made all that money and had some time off, what’s your real motivation? Do you really want to keep going when it gets hard? For me, I’m all in.

DETROIT (July 20, 2026) – Former amateur standouts and rising prospects Julius “JuJu” Ballo and Jonny Mansour will make their Detroit debut on Saturday, Aug. 29 live on Wynn Records Network from the Fox Theatre as the cousins celebrate the city’s large Chaldean and Middle Eastern communities. Ballo and Mansour were top U.S. amateurs out of San Diego, with Ballo a 2021 Junior Pan Am Game Gold Medalist and three-time USA Boxing National Champion, and Mansour the U.S.’s No. 1 ranked lightweight and a two-time Golden Glove Champion.

Ballo (3-0), who is promoted by Top Rank, was one of the most decorated amateurs before turning professional in 2025 at Madison Square Garden Theatre.  The 5-foot-7 super featherweight competed internationally against top talent, winning the Junior Pan Am Games in 2021 and becoming a three-time USA Boxing National Champion.  The 23-year-old is already a star outside the ring, as he has amassed nearly 1.3 million followers across TikTok and Instagram.

The 6-foot-6 Moore has won five straight since his only defeat to top contender Richard Torrez Jr. in 2024.  The Lakeland, Fla., native has rallied off three consecutive wins over undefeated prospects, including a 10-round unanimous decision over DeAndre Savage in his last bout in September 2025.  Moore, who is ranked No. 15 in the WBO, was recently in talks to fight Tyson Fury and has served as a main sparring partner for former unified champion Anthony Joshua for his fight this Saturday in Saudi Arabia.  

Jennings has fought some of the heavyweight divisions’ best since turning professional in 2010, including hard-fought battles against then-undefeated contenders Luis Ortiz, Oscar Rivas and Joe Joyce.  The 6-foot-3 Philadelphia native challenged Wladimir Klitschko for the IBF and WBO titles in 2015, losing a unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden.  After a five year break after the loss to Joyce, Jennings returned to boxing in 2024 and has won three straight.  In his last bout, he won an eight-round decision over Robert Simms in Grand Rapids, Mich. (July 20, 2026) On the heels of his impressive first-round knockout over established contender Manuel Avila Saturday night (July 18), Filipino super featherweight Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez and his promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz, are requesting the WBO to follow up on their previous mandate and order unified WBO/IBF junior-lightweight champion Emanuel Navarrete to begin negotiations for a rematch.

Fighting in the night’s co-main event at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California, and live on ProBoxTV, Suarez, 19-0 (11 KOs), of Manila, brutalized and knocked out Avila, 26-3-1 (9 KOs), of Fairfield, California, at 2:31 of the first round to maintain his mandatory WBO No. 1 status and win the WBO International super featherweight championship.

Citing a desire to stay sharp while waiting to rematch Navarrete, and despite returning from nearly 14 months inactivity, 37-year-old Suarez showed no signs of ring rust and passed the potentially tough test with flying colors, landing several other crisp right hands before the finishing right-hand blow at 2:31 of the opener.

Suarez and Navarrete met for the first time in May of last year and the fight was halted in the eighth due to a Navarrete cut over his left eye that was ruled to have been caused by an accidental headbutt.

After going to the scorecards, the three judges’ original verdict was a unanimous technical decision in favor of Navarrete. However, the fight was changed to a No Contest when the California State Athletic Commission reviewed video replays that showed the cut had been caused by a punch and that, ultimately, Suarez should have been awarded the victory.

The WBO ordered a rematch between the pair, however Navarrete, who was only the WBO champion when he faced Suarez, was first permitted to unify the title against then IBF champ Eduardo Nunez.

Navarrete won the fight by eleventh-round stoppage.

“By destroying Manuel Avila, Charly Suarez proved once again he is the top contender to Emanuel Navarrete, and we ask the WBO to enforce their order and direct his team to start negotiating for a rematch,” said Sampson Lewkowicz.

“Thank you to Garry Jonas and ProBoxTV for giving Charly this high-profile opportunity to show his talents and make a strong case for another title shot.”

“Charly’s dream is to be world champion, and we feel he deserves another shot at the title,” said Suarez’s manager/trainer Delfin Boholst. “Avila was a capable opponent, and Charly had no problem with him. We are ready for another shot at the world title.”

Additionally, Lewkowicz, who is credited with playing a large part in bringing the all-time-great Manny Pacquiao to America (as a then-undiscovered talent), and has also guided the careers of other prominent Filipino boxers such as three-weight world champion John Riel Casimero, former WBO light flyweight champ Donnie Nietes and former WBO super flyweight champion Marvin Sonsona, says he is returning there soon to bring back the next wave of boxing stars from the island nation.

The 23-year-old Reda (8-0, 6 KOs) has shot up the rankings since turning pro in November 2023, as he began his career with stoppage victories in five of his first six outings. The Sydney-native’s first step up in competition came last August, as he won a clear unanimous decision over 35-fight veteran Bruno Tarimo to capture the Australian super lightweight title. He most recently defended that decision in impressive fashion, stopping Wayne Telepe in the sixth-round in December.

A 2008 Australian Olympian, Fleming (28-1-2, 18 KOs) is a native of Tully, Queensland, Australia who now resides in Sydney. His lone defeat came in a 2023 challenge of the currently top ranked 130-pound contender Charly Suarez. Fleming led on all three scorecards before he was stopped in the 12^th and final round. Fleming most recently returned to action last November, battling Jake Wyllie to split-draw.

Their viral fame led to appearances on national television, recognition from some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, and a loyal fan base that has followed every step of their journey.

Now, more than a decade later, the undefeated twin brothers are taking another important step, not for social media, but for their future in boxing.

In preparation for their return to the ring on Friday, August 14, the 17-year-old prospects have traveled to Tampa, Florida, to train with International Boxing Hall of Famers Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright, two former world champions whose combined knowledge spans decades at the highest level of the sport.

The experience comes just weeks before BiYu Promotions debuts its new boxing series, “Fights Under the Lights,” at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, where the brothers will compete in front of friends, family, and fans from their adopted hometown of Houston. Both fighters are scheduled to compete in separate 4-round bouts.

For Steven, who will be facing Gerardo Chavez Reyes (3-5, 2 KOs), the opportunity is bigger than simply working with boxing legends.

“This is something we’ve dreamed about,” said Steven. “Growing up, we watched guys like Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright compete against the best fighters in the world. Now they’re taking time to teach us, correct us, and help us improve. That’s something we don’t take lightly. Every day we’re in the gym, we’re trying to earn their respect and become better than we were the day before.”

While the brothers have enjoyed success since turning professional, Steven believes they’re only scratching the surface.

“We’re undefeated, but we know we still have a lot to learn. That’s why we’re here. We want to become complete fighters, not just talented fighters.”

Daniel, who battles Eduardo Tarango (1-5), shares that same mindset.

“Being around champions changes the way you think,” Daniel said. “Coach Tarver and Coach Winky have seen everything in boxing. They’re teaching us little details that make a huge difference. It’s not just about throwing punches, it’s about being smarter, staying disciplined, and understanding the game at another level.”

“We’re grateful for this opportunity because a lot of young fighters never get this kind of experience. We’re going to take everything we learn here and bring it back home on August 14.”

BiYu Promotions, Bobby Harrison, believes the camp represents exactly the type of investment necessary to develop future champions.

The Grandy Twins enter the event with identical undefeated records and growing momentum, but neither brother is focused on protecting a perfect record. Their focus is becoming the best version of themselves.

That journey brings them back to Sugar Land on August 14, where they’ll perform in front of the Houston-area fans who have embraced them since relocating to Texas.

Ruiz Jr. and Knyba will go face-to-face for the first time today at a press conference in Los Angeles at 4pm PT/7pm ET to launch the event, which sees former unified king Ruiz Jr. back in action after a two-year absence from the ring.

Ruiz Jr. (35-2-1 22 KOs) penned a promotional deal with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom last week, and Mexico’s first ever Heavyweight king is ready to reignite his quest to become a two-time World champion.

The 36-year-old stunned the sporting world in June 2019 when he dethroned Anthony Joshua on a historic night in New York, and last tasted action in August 2024 in a back-and-forth majority draw with Jarrell Miller in Los Angeles, the third bout in a row in his home city following wins over Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz.

Standing in the way of Ruiz Jr’s plans to get back to the summit of the Heavyweight division is Knyba (17-1 11 KOs), with the Polish giant looking end ‘The Destroyer’s’ grand plans at the first hurdle. The 6ft 7in is looking to bounce back to winning ways at the first attempt after taking on newly anointed WBC champion Agit Kabayel for the interim title in Germany in January. Knyba fights at the Prudential Center for the fourth time in his career, and the 30-year-old can move into line for a World title crack with victory.

Ruiz Jr’s clash with Knyba leads a stacked card in New Jersey, with the co-feature bout pitting another new Matchroom signing Vito Mielnicki Jr. against World Middleweight title challenger Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams.

Mielnicki Jr. (23-1 13 KOs) penned a deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom and Boxlab Promotions recently, and immediately steps into the biggest fight of his career to date on home turf. The 24-year-old made his pro debut at the Prudential Center in June 2019 when he was still in High School, and the Roseland, NJ native is looking to make strides in the 160lbs division by claiming a big win in his Matchroom bow.

For Williams (20-2 12 KOs) this must-win bout behind enemy lines represents a massive chance to get right back into the World title mix following a spirited performance in his first World title battle in Orlando in March, taking WBC champion Carlos Adames the distance.

“Every fight is another chapter in my story, and on September 4, I’m ready to write my biggest one yet,” said Mielnicki Jr. “I respect Ammo Williams because he has proven himself against top competition, but this is my time.
