July 7, 2026 – Zuffa Boxing announced today that former bantamweight world champion Jason “Mayhem” Moloney has signed a multi-fight promotional contract with the company. Moloney, from Melbourne, Australia, has campaigned at bantamweight since 2017 and is currently ranked among the division’s top contenders.

Moloney’s Zuffa Boxing debut will be announced in the coming weeks.

“I love what Zuffa is doing, giving the fans great fights every time and matching the best against the best. And that’s what I’m all about, fighting the best and becoming the best,” Moloney said.

Moloney (29-4, 20 KOs) turned pro in 2014, winning his first 17 outings while fighting exclusively in Australia. He captured a world title in May 2023, defeating Filipino puncher Vincent Astrolabio by majority decision. Moloney defended the belt in a Fight of the Year battle against Saul Sanchez before relinquishing it to Japan’s Yoshiki Takei in a spirited 12-rounder. He joins the Zuffa stable having won two consecutive fights, most recently earning a unanimous decision over American contender Andre Donovan in April. 

Moloney also belongs to one of boxing’s most accomplished families: his twin brother, Andrew, currently holds a junior bantamweight world title. The Moloneys are one of only five sets of twins in boxing history in which both siblings have won world championships.

July 7, 2026 – WBA No. 2- and WBC No. 4-ranked super bantamweight Ramon “Dinamita” Cardenas, 27-2 (15 KOs), of San Antonio, will face WBA No. 12-ranked Leonardo Carrillo, 20-1-1 (9 KOs), of Panama City, in one of three new 10-round televised fights on ProBoxTV’s live world championship broadcast (7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT), Saturday, August 29, from the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Also added to The Contender Series portion of the show will be a 10-round lightweight battle between IBF No. 10- and WBA No. 14-ranked Luis “Koreano” Torres Valenzuela, 22-1 (13 KOs), and Jordan “Shortdog” White, 20-2 (12 KOs).

Plus Filipino knockout artist Weljon Mindoro, 17-0-1 (16 KOs), will take on three-time world title challenger Carlos Ocampo, 38-4, 26 KOs, of Mexico.

All three additional fights will be televised in support of WBC interim world super-middleweight champion Lester Martinez defending his interim title for the first time against WBC No. 3- and IBF No. 13-ranked Luka “The Thunder” Plantic in the night’s 12-round main event.

Ramon Cardenas rose to prominence in May of last year by putting up a brave stand while challenging unified world super-bantamweight champion, Naoya Inoue. Cardenas was able to drop Inoue in round two before being dropped in round seven and stopped in round eight. 30-year-old Cardenas was last seen knocking out Mexico’s Erik Robles with one punch in five rounds in December of last year. It was Cardenas’ fourth appearance on ProBoxTV.

Leonardo Carrillo, originally from El Copey, Colombia, is an 11-year professional who will be making his United States fighting debut that night. Carrillo’s only loss came to WBA No. 1-ranked junior featherweight Mukhammad Shekhov by unanimous decision in 2023. 33-year-old Carrillo has won three consecutive fights since, most recently, a unanimous 10-round decision over then 15-3-1 Luis Robles Pacheco in May 2025.

“Pryce is Right” Taylor (12-0, 8 KOs) currently stands as the only undefeated fighter among the top five American heavyweight rankings. The 6-foot-4 Taylor, of Brooklyn, N.Y., will face the hard-hitting Muñoz (18-2-1, 15 KOs) in a major step-up fight as he looks to climb the rankings in the wide-open heavyweight division. Taylor, who fights out of New York City’s renowned Cops & Kids Program, has knocked out his last two opponents. 

The 34-year-old Muñoz, of Mexico City, has just two losses on his record against top-10 American heavyweights Richard Torrez Jr. and Jermain Franklin Jr. He took the fight against Franklin on short notice, losing a unanimous decision against a fighter coming off consecutive distance fights with Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. His loss against Torrez was the first time he had been stopped in his career. 

Matthysse (21-16-1, 4 KOs), of Santa Fe, Argentina is a two-division champion and former unified featherweight champion. The older sister of former welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse, she won the WBA Interim Super Lightweight Title from Samantha Worthington in her last bout on February 22, winning the title when Worthington retired following the eighth round. Matthysse has competed professionally for nearly 20 years and has faced some of women’s boxing’s best from bantamweight to super lightweight.

The undefeated Litzy Vazquez Ochoa (8-0, 6 KOs) is just 24 years old and will face her toughest career challenge in the veteran Matthysse. Ochoa, of Veracruz, Mexico, has cruised since turning professional in 2022, stopping six out of her eight opponents, including a third round knockout of former world title challenger Liliana Palmera in her last bout. 

In a special feature and the final bout of the Wynn Records Network broadcast, undefeated local sensation Kiria Tapia (9-0, 1 KO) will face Alba Sanchez (9-4, 2 KOs), of Madrid, Spain, in an eight-round featherweight fight. Tapia was one of Puerto Rico’s most accomplished amateur boxers and since turning professional has established herself as one of the island’s premier female fighters and a major box office draw.  

In a co-featured fight, 22-year-old undefeated super featherweight prospect and Puerto Rican favorite William Colon (9-0, 5 KOs) will take on veteran Jeremy Triana (16-8-3, 14 KOs), of Cartagena, Colombia.

Taylor’s last fight was his first 10-rounder; however, he stopped Calvin Barrett (7-4) in the second round of their fight in Atlanta.

‘I’m definitely a 10-round fighter,” Taylor said. “I’m a 12-round fighter, too, it just hasn’t happened yet.”

A former college basketball, the 6’ 4”, 275-pound Taylor will face arguably the toughest opponent of his young professional career in the 6’ 2”, 250-pound Gutierrez, the veteran Mexican fighter known as “Drago.” Munoz’ two losses have been to 2020 USA Olympian and Olympic silver medalist, Richard Torrez Jr. (11-0), in Munoz’ last fight on December 7, 2024, which Torrez ended in round three with a knockout. Munoz’ other loss was to Jermaine Franklin, Jr. (21-2), in 2023 by way of a 10-round unanimous decision. Franklin Jr., who upset 15-0 Ivan Dychko 2 years ago, has also fought former world champion  Anthony Joshua, Moses Itauma and Dylan White.

Taylor has been active under his manager, Keith Sulivan, fighting for the 13^th time in less than 3 years, the last 8 under Salita Promotions.

The 29-year-old Taylor is expanding his brand. This will mark his second fight in Puerto Rico having fought there in his seventh pro fight, knocking out Trevor Kotara (4-3-1) in the opening round. Taylor has also fought in Atlanta, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, New York thrice and Michigan 5 times, 3 in Detroit and 2 in Flint.

Rhode Island: Carrying the Torch

Rhode Island has always punched above its weight when it comes to producing elite fighters, including the aforementioned Paz, Andrade, and the likes of Gary “Tiger” Balletto and Peter Manfredo Jr.  The latest generation appears to have the potential to continue that rich tradition.

Leading the charge is Providence-based welterweight Victor Reynoso (12-0, 7 KOs).  A natural showman, the Dominican-born boxer matches charisma with loads of ambition and an entertaining style.  One only has to turn to his 6-round war with Jalen Renaud as proof of Reynoso’s skills, tenacity and ferociousness. 

Next up for Reynoso is a New England showdown against fellow unbeaten welterweight Joe Bush on August 29 at Encore Boston Harbor.  

A trio of top Rhode Island prospects who headlined Rhode Wars 6 on June 27 at The Park have also shown promise well beyond the Ocean State’s borders.

Coventry super middleweight Will “The Ghost” Guilmette (3-0, 3 KOs) is a 24-year-old apprentice electrician who embodies boxing’s blue-collar roots.

After spending his days working with IBEW Local 99, Guilmette heads to the gym to pursue his championship dreams. A former Southern New England Elite Open Golden Gloves champion, he has quickly established himself as one of the state’s most promising young pros, combining power, athleticism and a mean streak in the ring.

Not far away in Cranston, Tyler “My Time” Macari (4-0, 3 KOs) is carrying on family tradition. 

The son of former Golden Gloves champion Mike Macari, Tyler grew up immersed in the sport but left the sweet science to play college basketball.  After an injury sidelined him, Macari returned to boxing and has emerged as one of Rhode Island’s most popular young prospects. Fighting in front of hometown crowds has given the undefeated super welterweight a vocal following that will only grow as he graduates to the national stage.

Then there is Kevin “Kut Throat” Mojica (5-0, 5 KOs). 

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Johnston, Mojica has quickly become one of the most exciting young fighters in New England. The undefeated southpaw has built a reputation as an aggressive, entertaining knockout artist whose fights rarely last long. Every appearance seems to generate more buzz than the last.

Another prospect to watch is super middleweight Ayowole Tom Jones (1-0-1).  The University of Rhode Island graduate has already participated in two “fight of the year” contenders since turning professional and seems destined to electrify fans with many more memorable moments as his career develops.

This quintet represents the next chapter of Rhode Island boxing.

Connecticut: A Talent Factory

If Rhode Island is the heart of CES Boxing, Connecticut may be its deepest talent pool.
Leading the way is Bridgeport lightweight Jacob “Lefty” Marrero (11-1, 8 KOs).

A gifted southpaw with exceptional skills, the 27-year-old has overcome his share of adversity in life, from surviving a gunshot that threatened his promising career to returning to the sweet science after five years in prison. Many within the boxing community view the charismatic Puerto Rican as one of the most complete young fighters in New England. 

Close behind is Stamford’s Douglas “El Uno” Marroquin (10-0, 6 KOs).

The stocky middleweight of Mexican and Guatemalan descent has consistently accepted dangerous assignments and delivered impressive performances. A showman, the 27-year-old has electrified crowds with his entertaining ring entrances and aggressive style.  Fans will get to witness both when Marrquin battles fellow unbeaten middleweight Daine Smikle on July 24 at

Mohegan Sun Arena. 

Another Connecticut fighter generating considerable excitement is Marroquin’s training stablemate Victor Guerra Vargas (3-0, 2 KOs).

The Venezuelan-born, Norwalk-based prospect has lived up to his middle name—”Guerra,” which translates to “war”—by bringing a come forward, all action style to every fight. His willingness to engage and entertain has quickly made him a fighter worth watching, as fans found out on June 27 at Rhode Wars 6 in Cranston, where Vargas pounded out a 4-round decision over previously unbeaten Raheem Davis in what many saw as the fight of the night. 

The state’s depth extends much further.

Stratford’s 20-year-old phenom Joseph “J-Elite” Chisholm (7-1, 6 KOs) continues to electrify crowds with his exceptional blend of speed and power, while Stamford-based Polish prospect Slawomir Bohdziewicz (7-1, 6 KOs) has demonstrated both thudding power and poise while building a rabid fan base of loyal supporters.

Both will be in New England showdowns on July 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena, when Chisholm takes on New Bedford, MA’s Josh Alvarado and Bohdziewicz battles Peabody, MA’s Russ Kimber.

New Haven has particularly become a boxing hotbed, as Carlos Perez (6-0, 1 KO), Kevante Wineglass (4-0, 3 KOs), Gianni Liguori (5-0-1, 4 KOs) and Anuel Rosa (6-0-1, 4 KOs) have consistently excelled against increasingly difficult competition.

And that’s just the men.  Columbia, CT’s Stevie Jane Coleman (7-1, 2 KOs) is riding a 7-fight winning streak and improving in every outing as she closes in on a world title shot.

Altogether, Connecticut’s current generation represents one of the strongest collections of young fighters the state has produced in years.

Massachusetts: The State of Champions

If one fighter currently symbolizes the future of Massachusetts boxing, it may be Francis “Frank the Tank” Hogan (22-0, 17 KOs).

The Boston born, Weymouth raised middleweight has become one of the most promising prospects in New England, compiling an undefeated record while steadily increasing his level of opposition.  Impressive victories over Elvin Ayala and Khiary Gray set up an NABF Middleweight Championship opportunity against Antonio Todd last November, which the 25-year-old won by dominant decision.

Next for Hogan is a main event slot at CES Boxing’s return to Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI on September 26.

Hogan is far from alone in Massachusetts.

His training stablemate Tevin Regis (8-0, 7 KOs) has emerged as one of the region’s most devastating young knockout artists.  The Dorchester native’s willingness to engage and his fan-friendly style have made him a favorite among New England fight fans, while his continued development suggests he’s more than just a puncher.

Marshfield’s Joe Bush (7-0, 5 KOs) has likewise established himself as one of Massachusetts’ most hopeful young prospects, demonstrating the combination of drive and ambition necessary to climb into the national ranks in a highly competitive sport.

Bush linked up with CES in 2024 with the primary goal of fighting on more meaningful cards.  He will get that opportunity on August 29 when he headlines Boston Fight Night 2 against fellow unbeaten welterweight Victor Reynoso at Encore Boston Harbor for the vacant New England Welterweight Championship.   

Hogan, Regis, and Bush are helping ensure that Massachusetts remains one of New England’s premier boxing hotbeds well after the likes of current contenders Ellis, Ortiz and Walsh hang up their gloves.

On the female circuit, Norton’s Melanie “Pitbull” Costa (3-1, 1 KO) has shown that she is as tough in a ring as she is on the streets of Norton as a patrol officer.  Costa returns to action on August 29 at Encore Boston Harbor.

New Hampshire: A Growing Force

While neighboring Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut have traditionally received much of the boxing spotlight, New Hampshire has quietly begun producing a new generation of talented fighters eager to make their mark.

Leading the way is Michael Fontanez (12-0-1, 8 KOs), a skilled super welterweight whose combination of charisma and talent has made him one of the Granite State’s most bright prospects in years.

Alongside Fontanez stands fellow Nashua native and training stablemate Christian Moura (3-0, 3 KOs), a 27-year-old who draws huge crowds while packing a big punch.

Another name generating excitement is Londonberry welterweight Jaydell Pazmino (9-0, 8 KOs). Originally from Lynn, MA, the new ‘Pazmanian Devil’ possesses the pedigree, temperament and power to become a force in the welterweight division.

Collectively, Fontanez, Moura and Pazmino represent a new wave of New Hampshire fighters looking to compete with their counterparts in the other New England states.

Maine & New York: The Meteoric Rise of Amelia Moore & Iman Lee

No CES fighter has climbed the rankings faster than Maine’s Amelia Moore (4-0, 1 KO). 

Raised in Oxford Hills and now living in Colorado, the 2020 US Olympic alternate is ranked in the top 10 of every sanctioning body with just 4 pro bouts.  Moore defeated Canadian Bonnie Hunter in March to win the NABF Lightweight Championship and is looking to up the ante when she challenges WBC/WBO World Lightweight Champion Caroline Dubois on August 29 in Birmingham, England.  It’s a spectacular rise from a boxer who is as articulate outside the ring as she is skilled in it.  Moore may very well be CES Boxing’s next world champion.       

And while most of CES Boxing’s prospects hail from New England, New York has contributed the organization’s other fastest-rising star. 

Iman Lee (15-0-1, 8 KOs) has quickly become one of the most accomplished young fighters on the CES roster.

The undefeated super featherweight gained national attention through his impressive performances in the WBC Grand Prix Tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia before capturing the NABF Super Featherweight Championship in April. Combining speed, athleticism and composure, the 26-year-old from Yonkers has demonstrated the qualities of a fighter capable of competing for world titles in the very near future.

The Future of New England Boxing is Already Here

What makes this generation unique is not simply its talent, but its depth.

Not long ago, New England boxing often revolved around a handful of recognizable names. Today, CES Boxing boasts a roster of rising fighters spread across six states, each progressing along a path toward championship contention.

Top contenders including Jamaine Ortiz, Rashidi Ellis and Kevin Walsh are in the mix for world title opportunities. But the big, bad, Brisbane-based fighter is now preparing for his toughest test to date when he takes on American knockout artist DeAndre Savage in a heavy-hitting main event at Star Casino Gold Coast.

Savage, 35, has tasted defeat only once in his career, losing on points a year ago against US rival Brandon Moore, and has won all 11 of his other contests by knockout.

And Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn believes Savage is the perfect opponent for Teremoana to demonstrate why he believes the 28-year-old Australian will go all the way to the top.

‘Pretty Boy’ Michael Zerafa, fresh from putting pen to paper on a new multi-fight deal with Matchroom Boxing, looks forward to a high-stakes co-Main Event clash with an opponent to be revealed soon.

The former World Title challenger from Melbourne (34-5-0, 22 KOs), returns to the ring for the first time since his no contest with Nikita Tszyu, when an accidental head collision forced the January fight off after three rounds.

The 34-year-old, who has been in with the likes of Erislandy Lara, Jeff Horn and Kell Brook, is determined to challenge for titles – and a big win on August 12 will put him in the mix for a big fight on a pay-per-view card later this year.

New York, NY – July 03, 2026 – Former unified three-belt world champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) will make his much-anticipated return to the ring in a high-stakes super welterweight showdown against Australian superstar and former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) on Saturday, July 25, from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia. The pay-per-view fight will be available for purchase through DAZN on Prime, regardless of Prime membership. The event will also be available through traditional cable and satellite providers. 

Spence has made a name for himself thanks in large part to a legendary run through the welterweight division and returns to action for the first time after nearly a three-year layoff as he’ll take on the former WBO 154-pound champion Tszyu. The latter has never lost on his home soil and will aim to put himself back in world title contention with a career-best victory. 

The event is promoted by No Limit Boxing, The Rose Brothers, Man Down Promotions, and TGB Promotions.

The Spence vs. Tszyu undercard also features several loaded matchups across the board, including a return to the ring for two-division world champions such as Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs)and Stephen Fulton Jr. (23-2, 8 KOs) take their talents down under. The undefeated Charlo will step in to face Australia’s Koen Mazoudier (15-4-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight battle, while former 122 and 126-pound world champion Fulton Jr. will face Australian former title challenger Liam Wilson (18-3, 10 KOs)in a 10-round super featherweight attraction. Even after my car accident, I never took a break. After the eye injury they told me I couldn’t work out, but I was still walking eight to 10 miles a day trying to keep my weight down. I enjoyed this layoff, because it gave me a lot of clarity. I feel rejuvenated.”

“There’s no knock on Tszyu for losing to Sebastian Fundora. Fundora would be a hard opponent for anybody. He’s so tall and now he’s using his distance and his range. Tszyu put up a hard fight and never gave up.”

Fast-rising light heavyweight star Gradus Kraus will lead an action-packed undercard for Troy Williamson vs Callum Simpson II as he takes on American Sean Hemphill on Saturday, August 8 at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds, presented by BOXXER and broadcast live and exclusively on DAZN worldwide.

The KO sensation (11-0, 10 KOs) returns to British soil following a triumphant homecoming fight against Theo Brooks at the Topsportcentrum in Rotterdam on May 9, where he retained his perfect record with a spectacular second-round stoppage win.

Rapidly building a reputation as one of the most exciting fighters in world boxing, the dynamite fisted 24-year-old has floored every opponent he has faced so far in the professional ranks, with only one man making it beyond the second round.

Hemphill (19-3, 11 KOs), from New Orleans, USA, will be looking to halt Kraus’ devastating KO streak and improve his own record when the pair meet in a ten-round international contest.

Known as ‘Silky’, the 30-year-old has shared the ring with former world champion William Scull and has also served as a sparring partner for pound-for-pound superstar Canelo Alvarez. 

The American returns to Yorkshire, where he enjoyed the biggest win of his career last June by handing the previously unbeaten Mark Jeffers his first professional defeat. Hemphill claimed a majority decision over Jeffers at Oakwell Stadium in Barnsley to capture the WBA Gold Continental title. He also faced Ty Mitchell at Manchester’s AO Arena last August, finding himself on the wrong end of a split decision verdict that could have gone either way.

CLEVELAND (July 2, 2026) – Abdullah Mason will defend his WBO lightweight world title against unbeaten Toledo native Albert Bell in an all-Ohio clash this Saturday, July 4, at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center. 

In the co-feature, Bruce Carrington puts his WBC featherweight world title on the line against Mexico’s Rene Palacios.

Additionally, U.S. Olympian Tiger Johnson takes on Cristopher Guerrero in a 10-round welterweight clash, while unbeaten lightweight knockout artist Scooter Davis faces Carlos Ramos in the eight-round opener.

On fighting alongside two of his brothers in Cleveland…

“I’m excited. I’m super excited. This is something me and my brothers have been looking forward to doing since we were amateurs. We fought on the same card a few times as amateurs, and all of us did it together on the last show my father threw here in Cleveland. It was huge.”

“At that time, we were like, ‘Yo, when we do this on a professional level, it’s going to be big for Cleveland.’ And now, it’s big for not only Cleveland, but it’s on TNT, so this is a national stage, a world stage with DAZN. I’m just excited to be able to put this show on with two of my brothers on the card.”

On what he gained from his last fight against Sam Noakes…

“I feel like it was definitely a much-needed experience. That’s not the type of fight you have all the time in your career. It was something I felt like I had to do that night. Every fight is different, and it definitely gave me some insight into how I’ll approach the rest of my career. So, it was a much-needed experience and a great fight.”

On finding out about the opponent change…

“It was definitely unexpected. Albert Bell—that’s our guy from Toledo. But it’s boxing. You’ve got to be prepared for anything, and I’m prepared to come out on top. Everything happens for a reason.”

“One thing I do want to say is, I’m the youngest world champion in boxing for a reason, and I’m prepared to show that when I step into the ring.”

On adjusting to the opponent switch…

“Boxing is offense, defense and IQ, and you’ve got to put it together and tailor it to the person you’re stepping in the ring with. So, with the opponent switch, I just have to tailor it to the person across the ring from me, and that’s Albert Bell.”

On stepping in to face Mason…

“I mean, it caught me by surprise. It was an ideal opponent for me. I wasn’t really thinking about fighting Abdullah, especially not this soon. But everything made sense. I talked to my pops about it, and it made sense, so I stepped in to save the card, get my world title opportunity and put on a show for all of Ohio.”

“I mean, I get turned down by a lot of guys. I’m not saying that in a cocky way or trying to act like I’m the boogeyman or anything like that, but a lot of guys say no when my name comes across their table. I would’ve had the name I was supposed to have by now if it weren’t for that, but what’s delayed is not denied. We’re here now, and that’s all that matters.”

On what he has to do to win…

“I just need to be the best version of myself. I know he’s coming to be the best version of himself. He’s prepared, I’m prepared. We’re ready. We’re two top fighters, and we’re professionals. We’re both Ohioans. We’ve got history with each other, and it’s gonna be a show for sure.”

Bruce Carrington

On his performance against Carlos Castro…

“The performance went exactly how it was supposed to. We had a great training camp for that fight, and we executed everything we wanted to do. We were able to break him down and get the victory the way we did.

But right now, I’m just looking forward to this Saturday. My mind is focused on the opponent in front of me, Rene Palacios. He’s a good fighter. I like to challenge myself. There were a lot of guys who didn’t accept this fight, but Rene Palacios took it quickly, and I respect him for that. I see that he fights with his heart on his sleeve. His style is challenging, and I’m looking forward to it.”

On what he learned in his last fight…

“There wasn’t really too much that I learned because it was something that I already seen in myself that others just haven’t seen. I have that championship mentality. I’ve been through adversity all of my life. Just coming up from Brownsville, losing my brother, plenty other things that I’ve gone through in life. All the losses that I put on myself, self-sabotaging and then praying to God and getting over those things. That’s the real journey and the fights in life. So, me going through all of that, I knew I was gonna be able to go through something small like that inside the ring, conquer that, and then become victorious. So it was nothing to me.”

On what we can expect fight night…

“It’s the Shushu show, man. We’re going to perform, we’re going to have a great time, and I can’t wait to see y’all.”

Rene Palacios

“I feel happy and excited because the day is coming when I will fight for a world title. I think I was underestimated in my last fight. And I’m being underestimated again. But I come ready and prepared for anything. Mentally, I’m coming in very strong. I had an impressive, spectacular and perfect camp. I know July 4 is Independence Day here in the United States, and I respect that, but that night, Mexico will win.”

On if there are any errors he can take advantage of in Carrington…

“Yes, of course. Like with anyone, I think there are things he can improve and things we’ve seen from him. We’ve seen his mistakes, but we have to follow the game plan, just like we did throughout camp. We’re ready.”

Tiger Johnson

On fighting in Cleveland…

“I feel good, man. This is a dream come true. Outside of my Olympic dream, I always wanted to fight in Cleveland in front of my friends and family. We’re going to put on a show on Saturday.”

On fighting Guerrero…

“He’s 16-0 for a reason. But at the end of the day, I don’t believe there’s anyone in my division as talented as me or with the abilities that I have. So I’m here to prove again on Saturday why I’m the best at welterweight.”

On how close he feels he is to a world title…

“I feel like I’m real close, but we have to take care of business on Saturday, and then we’ll worry about that after.

CLEVELAND (July 1, 2026) – Abdullah Mason and Albert Bell kicked off fight week today with a public workout at Zelma George Recreation Center in Cleveland, just three days out from their all-Ohio world title showdown.

Cleveland-born Mason (20-0, 17 KOs) will defend his WBO lightweight world title against unbeaten Toledo native Bell (28-0, 9 KOs) on Saturday, July 4, at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center.

They were joined by WBC featherweight world champion Bruce Carrington (17-0, 10 KOs), who will defend his crown against Mexico’s Rene Palacios (19-0-1, 10 KOs) in the co-feature, and U.S. Olympian Tiger Johnson (17-0, 8 KOs), a Cleveland native who will take on Christopher Guerrero (16-0, 9 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight clash.

Also appearing were Mason’s brothers, Ibrahim Mason (2-0, 2 KOs) and Abdurrahman Mason (2-0, 2 KOs), who will compete in separate four-rounders on the undercard. Ibrahim faces Erik Hanley (1-2, 1 KO) in a super featherweight fight, while Abdurrahman takes on Alvaro Huizar Cabral (1-0) at lightweight.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) released its June rankings along with its monthly individual awards, naming Panama’s Nataly Delgado as Female Fighter of the Month, while Mexico’s Estefany Alegría earned an Honorable Mention.

Delgado shocked the boxing world on June 13 in Orlando by defeating Jasmine Artiga to capture the WBA super flyweight title with a sensational performance. The Panamanian standout claimed the championship and continued her impressive run, delivering a victory that firmly put her country back in the international spotlight.

Alegría, meanwhile, defeated Evelyn Bermúdez by unanimous decision to capture the WBA light flyweight championship, while also adding the IBF title to her collection with a dominant display.

The WBA congratulates both award winners and invites fans and members of the boxing community to visit the organization’s official website to review the latest women’s rankings.

Jaron Ennis has been named the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fighter of the Month for June following his knockout victory over Xander Zayas, while Jesse “Bam” Rodríguez received Honorable Mention after capturing the WBA bantamweight title with a dominant win over Antonio Vargas.

The pioneering sanctioning body released its official June rankings, including all divisional movements for the month, and also confirmed the immediate discontinuation of the Bridgerweight division, which will no longer be recognized or sanctioned by the WBA.

Ennis stepped into the ring last Saturday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and stopped the previously unbeaten champion Zayas via seventh-round technical knockout to capture the WBA super welterweight title. It was a commanding performance from the 29-year-old American, further strengthening his case as one of the sport’s elite pound-for-pound fighters and cementing his status as one of boxing’s brightest stars.

Meanwhile, “Bam” Rodríguez stopped Antonio Vargas in six rounds on June 13 in Arizona to become the new WBA bantamweight champion. The spectacular victory earned the gifted Texan this month’s Honorable Mention recognition.

The latest WBA rankings are now available and can be viewed in the rankings section of the organization’s official website.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) has officially eliminated the Bridgerweight division, effective immediately as of June 30, 2026. The decision was communicated directly to the division’s reigning champions and is now being made public through this official statement.

The move was approved by WBA President and the organization’s Championship Committee during the Association’s most recent World Convention in Orlando, Florida. Since then, the WBA has been working on a structured plan to phase out championship bouts in the division.

The decision is part of the WBA’s ongoing efforts to streamline its championship structure and strengthen the competitive landscape across all weight classes.

As for the division’s reigning titleholders, Muslim Gadzhimagomedov and Vartan Arutyunyan, both have been informed that they will be incorporated into the WBA rankings in their respective weight classes. Gadzhimagomedov will be ranked at cruiserweight, while Arutyunyan will move into the heavyweight rankings.

The WBA remains committed to building the strongest possible championship structure for modern-day boxing while continuing to enhance the sport’s overall level of competition worldwide.

The undercard for Katie Taylor’s final dance is confirmed as the fighting pride of Ireland get set for a blockbuster night in front of 80,000 fans at Dublin’s iconic Croke Park on Saturday, September 5 – live worldwide on DAZN.

The event, delivered by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in association with Aiken Promotions, Brian Peters and Title Event Partner, Lidl Ireland, will see Boxing return to Ireland’s historic home of the Gaelic Athletic Association for the first time since the late, great Muhammad Ali famously fought there in 1972.

Legendary Taylor will be bidding to become a three-time Undisputed queen with the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine Super Lightweight World Titles on the line when she headlines against France’s undefeated Flora Pili.

And a bumper undercard awaits too – including an eagerly awaited Heavyweight clash between Dave Allen and Ireland’s own, Thomas Carty.

Allen (26-9-2, 20 KOs), who last summer upset Johnny Fisher in London, recently came up short in two recent huge battles with Arslanbek Makhmudov and Filip Hrgovic. But the Doncaster favourite returned to winning ways earlier this month with a points win over Ross McGuigan.

Carty, meanwhile, was successful in his last outing back in March when he defeated German Skobenko on points almost a year after his only career defeat to date when he suffered a severe knee injury during his American debut against Dajuan Calloway.

In an exciting all-Irish clash, No.1 ranked mandatory challenger for the IBF World Welterweight Championship, and Limerick’s own, Paddy Donovan (15-2, 11 KOs) meets Belfast’s battle-hardened Tyrone McKenna (25-6-1, 8 KOs).

Katie Taylor’s cousin – the former UFC star turned professional boxer – Molly ‘Meatball’ McCann (4-0, 1 KO) will be hoping to set the tone earlier in the night as she looks to extend her winning start to life with Matchroom Boxing when she faces Yorkshire’s Sylwia Doligala (8-2-2).

Rising Super Middleweight prospect Taylor Bevan (9-0, 8 KOs), who earlier this month celebrated a home win at Southampton’s St Mary’s, will be looking for back-to-back stadium show wins as he takes on undefeated Dublin fighter Emmet Brennan (6-0, 1 KO).

ATLANTA (June 30, 2026) – Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Claressa “T-Rex” Shields and Unified WBC & WBA Middleweight Champion Kaye Scott faced off for the first time on Tuesday in Atlanta in advance of their historic world championship showdown on Saturday, Aug. 15 live on DAZN from State Farm Arena.  

Shields will make her highly-anticipated Atlanta debut as she returns to the middleweight division and attempts to become just the second heavyweight champion, male or female, to win a world championship in a lower weight class in the last 120-plus years. 

Presented by Salita Promotions in partnership with Wynn Records, Claressa Shields Promotions and Route 30 Promotions, and presenting sponsor Zeus Network, the event marks the first women’s headliner at State Farm Arena.  Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.com. 

It was announced Tuesday that Zeus Network will stream live undercard coverage beginning at 6 p.m. ET featuring a mix of professional and celebrity influencer bouts.  The Zeus Network press conference featured recording artist, actor and TV host Ray J, actor Orlando Brown, TV personality Big Lex, Not Da Lil One and TV personality Tesehki.

CLARESSA SHIELDS:

“I want to thank Kaye for taking this fight, but because of you I have to lose 20 pounds.  If you hadn’t taken this fight I wouldn’t have come back down to middleweight. I vacated those belts because no one wanted to fight me. 

“I can make weight comfortably and keep all my power. I was undisputed twice at 160 and I wasn’t my strongest, but over the years I’ve gotten stronger. Kaye looks very strong and fit right now. Come Aug 15 I will look just as strong and fit. 

“She’s not an easy task and she’s not someone who wants to lose. I saw her get a draw and come right back for a rematch to win these belts. It was a dog fight. They were bloody and bruised by the end of it, but Kaye came out on top. 

“I honestly didn’t think she would say yes to this fight but I’m happy she did. I’ve always celebrated her wins – I’m not a hater so I can do that.  The only time I have to go against anyone seriously is when they get in the ring with me. 

“Kaye is so strong but I hope she’s ready for my best.  Don’t think me losing this 20 pounds is going give you the upper hand. 

“I know Kaye can’t outbox me. I think her game plan is going to be to come forward with those big broad shoulders and legs and try to land one of the meanest and strongest shots she can land to try to knock me off my block.  That’s when you’re going to see a fight. That’s what I’ve been training for – to not get hit, to not get in a back and forth with her. Kaye loves back and forth wars.

“Kaye just said she thinks me coming down is her advantage and that’s how she’s supposed to think. But know this, skill overrides everything. I could be tired and have skill. I can be weak and have skill. People think that it’s all about strength. But I just know how to win.

“I’m looking forward to putting on a show in Atlanta. I was supposed to come here 2 years ago and I’m glad it finally happened.  I love Atlanta. Shout out to all my fans who bought tickets. The dress code for the ladies is diamonds, glitter and sheer.

LAS VEGAS – June 30, 2026 – Fighters First Management CEO Adrian Clark, the manager for Edwin De Los Santos, has announced his intent to appeal the results of De Los Santos’ loss to Jose Valenzuela this past Sunday with the Nevada Athletic Commission, after replays show Valenzuela throwing and connecting with a punch after De Los Santos was already down.

“Rules are rules. It doesn’t matter where the shot landed or how hard it was,” said Clark. “When a fighter is on a knee or down, it is illegal to hit him. Edwin was robbed of the opportunity to recover from the blatantly illegal shot.

“It’s my job to make this appeal. The punch that knocked him down was a good shot by Valenzuela. However, if De Los Santos was out, the referee would have immediately waived the count and called the fight. Everyone watching that fight knows that is a foul.

“My petition is based around the protection of fighters. If the commission for the state that lands a majority of the big fights says that an illegal shot has no bearing on the outcome of a fight, that’s a problem for the sport.”

Clark also pointed out that when De Los Santos and Valenzuela first met in 2022, De Los Santos was penalized for hitting Valenzuela while he was down.

“A situation similar to this occurred in their first fight. Edwin landed a punch after Valenzuela was through the ropes. The difference is, the foul was recognized, called, Edwin was deducted a point and Valenzuela had time to recover.”

De Los Santos stated that no matter how the process plays out, he plans to pursue another fight with Valenzuela to settle the score for good.

“I will let the appeal go through the proper channels, but I am not going to focus on the illegal hit,” said De Los Santos. “I got caught with a good shot. I was stunned, but not hurt. I won’t make any excuses. Eventually I’m going to get the opportunity to fight him again.”

LOS ANGELES – June 29, 2026 – WBC interim world super-middleweight champion Lester Martinez and his upcoming title challenger, Luka “The Thunder” Plantic, went face to face for the first time today, at a press conference to officially announce their interim world title showdown on Saturday, August 29, live on ProBoxTV (7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT) from the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Martinez, 20-0-1 (16 KOs), of Guatemala City and Zagreb, Croatia’s Plantic, 13-0 (10 KOs), will meet in the 12-round main event of a card that also features light-heavyweight Najee Lopez, 16-0 (13 KOs), taking on dangerous Colombian slugger Juan Carrillo, 15-0 (11 KOs), in the night’s co-featured bout.

First and foremost, good afternoon. Thank you everybody for being here. I will be defending my title on August 29. There’s no doubt the title is staying in Guatemala and I’m gonna continue being the world champion. That I can assure you.

There was a lot of pressure last time out. There was a lot of pressure winning the belt and performing. There were other things, but we learned from them… there’s always room for improvement. Aleem showed good resistance (he was) a very good, strong opponent. But this time around, we’re gonna do things much better, trust me.

We’re fighting a very dangerous opponent. There’s a reason he’s here. He’s in the top 10. He undefeated and he’s earned that. But we’re going to make the adjustments. Our camp is going to be longer this time.

Of course, I’m going to be looking at this fight coming up with Canelo and Mbilli. I’m going to be one of the most interested… (but) right now, my immediate focus is on Luka and taking care of business on August 29, defending my title. Then we can look forward to that tremendous fight and hope that, yes, or yes, we fight the winner.

I’m gonna train very hard. I’m gonna do everything I can to make things work, so I can defend my title, and then move on to fight either the rematch (against Mbilli) or the fight against Canelo. I hope that after my fight, my defense, that’s the fight that comes next. And we will be more than ready for that fight too.

This will be my third time as a main event on ProBoxTV. I’m very grateful for the opportunities the platform has given me. And this is gonna be a great fight. There’s gonna be tremendous attendance, and not just our fight. The undercard, as well, is gonna be very good.

Luka Plantic

I know he’s a good fighter, and we will prepare very good for him. We are looking at his every move, his every punch. I study him.

I don’t see anything (Martinez does wrong). I only see in the ring, and that’s it. I’ll see you in the ring and the belt is coming to Croatia. I’m here for the WBC interim title and to face Canelo next.

Yes, I feel I will steal the show. You will see a war. I will show all of you on August 29. We are going to change Guatemala night to Croatia night.

Najee Lopez

Every fight now is a tough fight. But this fight lines me up. It gives me a line for a world title, so I’m really excited. (Carrillo is) definitely a good fighter, a smart guy, but I’m just too smart, too fast, too strong. And the question is, will he be able to handle it?

There’s no pressure at all. I put the work in, my team, we focus. We’re super focused. We are super locked in for whatever challenges is in our way. It’s just the journey. So, I understand that every fight, from now on, is gonna be on that level.

Man, my grandparents is from Puerto Rico, from the island. My dad was my trainer and my teacher. Everything he taught me was from those roots. So, every time I walk in a walk in a ring, not only am I representing where I’m from, Atlanta, Georgia, but I also, when you have the last name Lopez, I’m representing the island. I’m representing my roots. Puerto Rico has to know I love my people. I rep my last name with everything in me.

First of all, I want to thank God. I want to thank ProBox for giving me this opportunity. Yes, I was an Olympian and this opportunity, I’m taking it like the best opportunity in my in my life and my career, and you guys will see.

He’s playing with my family’s food. I am going to go out there and show the world that I am the next big name out there and gonna be the next superstar.

I love his ability to fight on all three levels. He can fight on the inside; he can fight at a distance; he can fight at the mid-range. So, what is there not to love? You know, you got a Colombian, Olympian southpaw, and a full-grown man in his prime, so we’re expecting a tremendous fight. We know Najee’s a tremendous talent, too. The winner is going to be the fans, so we’re really excited about that.

Najee has a great foundation as his father said, you know, when he was here. Najee is a kid that gives everything in the gym, very disciplined outside the ring. Najee is easy to train. As you saw in this last fight, if you train hard, you’re disciplined and you’re devoted to the sport, you have outcomes like his last fight.

Ramon Cardenas

I learned that that I’m built for that level. You know, I never got a third shot in my whole career. I had to work from ground up to make it to where I’m today. And so, I knew when I got that shot, I had to make the best of it and that’s what I did.

(ProBox has helped me) tremendously, man. For me, personally, ProBox is my home because they’re the ones who gave me the shot and without ProBox, I wouldn’t be in the same position I am today. So, you know, Paul acts in my home and I’m grateful, you know, turning for them.

I don’t want to say any names, but I got people ducking and dodging fighting me, you know what I mean? I’m a ‘big risk and small reward’ type of guy. And I like it like that because when I go in and I get my chance, I’m gonna make sure that I make the best of it.

But, other than that, you know, I’m just excited for this for this whole card… I know, all the Guatemalan people are gonna, are gonna be there and it’s gonna be, it’s gonna be a good event.

I’ve never been to the big callout guy. There are people I would love to compete with obviously Junto Nakatani. That’s a guy that I like. Everyone else for me, is just… You know what I’m saying? I think if I call out people… I want to call out people who are in front of me, and the only one in front of me in the WBA is Junto. That’s the only guy I would like to compete with.

In San Antonio, we have the Spurs. The Spurs aren’t a big-market team, not anything crazy. They’re not the Lakers, not those big market teams, but they win. So, I think of myself as the same where, I’m not a big market guy, but when I get into the ring, I try my best to win and every fight on ProBox I’ve done that. I won, so I’m going to keep that tradition going

29-year-old Plantic, ranked WBC No. 3- and IBF No. 13, was last seen in November 2025 defending his WBC International super-middleweight title via TKO 9 over formerly undefeated Shadiri Musa Bwogi.

In his most recent ring appearance, WBA No. 4-, IBF No. 9-, WBC No. 10- and WBO No. 14-ranked Lopez, a Puerto Rican American from Atlanta, won a “fight of the year” candidate battle against Manuel Gallegos in March 2026 to win the WBO Latino light-heavyweight championship.

2016 Olympian Carrillo, the former WBO inter-continental and IBF Latino light-heavyweight champion, was last seen in May scoring a fourth-round knockout over Marlon Delgado on the undercard of the David Benavidez vs. “Zurdo” Ramirez superfight.

The University of Southern California’s Galen Center is located across the street from the USC campus. The Galen Center is the home for USC Trojans basketball and USC volleyball.

On fight night, the capacity is expected to be approximately 12,000.

The move to a larger venue was made necessary due to the sold-out crowd of nearly 4000 that filled the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino last March, when Martinez won his interim title by defeating Immanuwel Aleem via unanimous decision.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – One of boxing’s fastest-rising young stars, Jaycob “The Raging Bull” Ramos (4-1-1), has officially signed an exclusive long-term management agreement with Andrew Bocanegra, President of Boxing VIP, marking another major milestone in the Dallas native’s pursuit of a world championship in the featherweight division.

At just 26 years old, Ramos has emerged as one of the sport’s most exciting young prospects. Before becoming one of boxing’s brightest professional talents, he had his sights set on Olympic glory. HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (June 29, 2026) Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing once again delivered an unforgettable evening of professional boxing as a sold-out crowd filled The Paramount on Saturday night for the 54th edition of the acclaimed Rockin’ Fights series.

Featuring five competitive bouts, dramatic momentum swings, and nonstop action from opening bell to final decision, Rockin’ Fights 54 continued the tradition that has made the series one of the premier developmental boxing series in the country.

With another capacity crowd filling The Paramount, Rockin’ Fights once again showcased the formula that has made the series the nation’s premier developmental boxing events—combining competitive matchmaking, rising stars, and an atmosphere unlike any other in club boxing. From the opening bout through the main event, fans were treated to nonstop action that kept the energy high throughout the evening.

In the ten-round main event, world-ranked junior middleweight Wendy “The Haitian Fire” Toussaint of Huntington, New York, was pushed to the limit by veteran Aaron Coley of Oakland, California, battling to a hard-earned majority draw in a highly technical and closely contested fight.

One judge scored the bout 97-95 for Toussaint, while the remaining two judges each scored it 95-95, resulting in a majority draw.

From the opening bell, both fighters displayed high-level boxing skills, taking turns controlling the action in a tactical contest where every round was competitive and little separated the two throughout the evening. Toussaint’s record now stands at 17-4-1 (7 KOs), while Coley moves to 17-5-1 (7 KOs).

Long Island native Ralph Clemente thrilled his hometown supporters with an impressive fifth-round stoppage of Kasimu Yakubu in their scheduled six-round super middleweight bout.

The fight featured heavy exchanges from the outset, with both men enjoying moments of success in an entertaining back-and-forth battle. With the contest still hanging in the balance, Clemente landed a thunderous left hook in the fifth round that badly hurt Yakubu. Sensing the finish, Clemente poured on the offense, forcing referee Pat Sullivan to stop the bout. Clemente improves to a perfect 5-0 (5 KO’s) with the win.

Making his professional debut, Yousef Zazae of Danbury, Connecticut, scored an impressive stoppage victory over Elijah Grant in a scheduled four-round middleweight bout. The opening two rounds were highly competitive before Grant complained of dizziness following the second round. After being examined by the ringside physician, the bout was halted before the start of Round 3, giving Zazae a successful professional debut. Zazae begins his career at 1-0 (1 KO), while Grant falls to 1-2 (1 KO).

The evening opened with an action-packed four-round super middleweight battle between professional debutants Alex Garcia of Huntington and Pawel Zawistowski of Ridgewood. Both fighters exchanged heavy punches throughout an entertaining contest that immediately energized the sold-out crowd. Garcia scored a flash knockdown in the second round and maintained his composure over the remaining rounds to earn a hard-fought decision victory. HOLLYWOOD, FL (June 29, 2026) – Last night, undefeated heavyweight contender Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo continued his march toward a world title, improving to 12-0 with 11 knockouts after scoring a spectacular seventh-round knockout over Calvin Barnett (7-6, 4 KOs) in the scheduled 10-round main event of Fist of Fury 11 on Sunday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Currently ranked #14 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and reigning as the BKB Heavyweight Champion (8-0, 8 KOs), Trujillo once again showcased why he is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous heavyweights in boxing.

From the opening bell, Trujillo controlled every aspect of the fight with his educated jab, punishing body attack, and relentless pressure. Born in Leverkusen, Germany, Kabayel first entered the WBC world rankings in May 2017 at No. 30 after capturing the European Boxing Union (EBU) Heavyweight Championship with a victory over Herve Hubeaux. Later that year, his impressive triumph over Derek Chisora established him among the division’s elite, propelling him into the WBC’s Top 15.

His breakthrough on the global stage came in December 2023 during the historic “Day of Reckoning” event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he stopped the previously undefeated Arslanbek Makhmudov in four rounds to capture the NABF Heavyweight Championship. (June 26, 2026) – The University of Southern California’s Galen Center has now been confirmed as the venue for WBC interim world super-middleweight champion Lester Martinez’s first interim title defense against top contender Luka Plantic, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and live on ProBoxTV.

Martinez, 20-0-1 (16 KOs), of Guatemala City and Zagreb, Croatia’s Plantic, 13-0 (10 KOs), will meet in the 12-round main event of a card that also features light-heavyweight Najee Lopez, 16-0 (13 KOs), taking on dangerous Colombian slugger Juan Carrillo, 15-0 (11 KOs) in the night’s co-featured bout.

More supporting matchups, including appearances by popular sluggers Ramon Cardenas, Luis “Koreano” Torres and Weljon Mindoro, plus a full lineup of “Future Stars” series prospects will be announced shortly.

Located across the street from the USC campus, the Galen Center is the home for USC Trojans basketball and USC volleyball. On fight night, the capacity is expected to be approximately 12,000.

(June 25, 2026) – ProBoxTV has added three more televised fights to their already stacked Saturday, July 18, live broadcast (7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT), from the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.

Joining the festivities will be a 10-round super featherweight battle between WBO No. 1- and WBC No. 11-ranked Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez, 18-0 (10 KOs), of Manila, Philippines, and Manuel Avila, 26-2-1 (9 KOs), of Fairfield, California.

A brave soldier in the Philippine army, Suarez has elected to keep his skills sharp by putting his mandated rematch against WBO world super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete and his WBO No. 1 status on the line against Avila.

Suarez first challenged champion Navarrete in May of last year and the fight was halted in the eighth due to a Navarrete cut over his left eye that referee Edward Collantes ruled to have been caused by an accidental headbutt.

The original verdict was a unanimous technical decision in favor of Navarrete.

However, the fight was changed to a No Contest when the California State Athletic Commission reviewed video replays that revealed the cut had been caused by a punch from Suarez and that, ultimately, he should have been awarded the victory and Navarrete’s title.

The WBO ordered an immediate rematch between the two, however delays have prompted Suarez to risk this dangerous fight against Avila to ensure his skills are sharp when the second title opportunity materializes.

Also added is a 10-round super welterweight contest between IBF USBA super welterweight champion and top-ranked Yan Marcos, 15-0 (10 KOs), of Miami via Cuba, and Guido Emmanuel Schramm, 17-4-3 (10 KOs), of Los Angeles via Argentina, as well as six-round featherweight contest featuring Oscar Bonifacino, 4-0-1 (3 KOs), of Maldonado, Uruguay, taking on Raul Escudero, 4-0, of Pamplona, Spain.

In the night’s 10-round super lightweight main event, WBC #12-ranked Bryan “Nino Maravilla” Flores, 28-1-1 (16 KOs), of Las Vegas via Juarez, Mexico, goes to war with Jonathan “Thunder” Navarro Flores, 18-2 (9 KOs), of East Los Angeles.

In the 10-round super welterweight co-feature, Joshua Kevin Anton (13-0, 12 KOs) of Palmdale, California, takes on Vladimir Hernandez (17-7, 7 KOs) of Stockton, California via Durango, Mexico.

And, in a special women’s attraction, Adelaida “La Cobra” Ruiz, (18-1-1, 8 KOs), of Los Angeles, defends against interim champion Ginny Fuchs, (4-0, 1 KO), of Houston in a 10-round rematch for the WBC Women’s World Super Flyweight Championship.

Additionally, in a 10-round welterweight chief supporting bout, Ruben “El Pollito” Aguillar (24-0-1, 21 KOs) of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, will take on Tre’Sean “Trigger” Wiggins (17-5-4, 10 KOs) of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Future Stars action to begin the evening will feature, Anthony “2 Quick” Cuba (12-1-2, 5 KOs) of Los Angeles battling Misael ‘Pichon’ Cabrera (18-3-1, 12 KOs) of Sonora, Mexico,

In a super lightweight eight-rounder; and Charles “LOLO” Harris (12-1, 7 KOs) of Rialto, California, returns to action in an eight-round super lightweight bout against Jason “El Gallo” Limon (11-2-1, 2 KOs) of San Antonio.

Also scheduled is lightweight Amador Mendez, 7-0 (4 KOs), of Austin, Texas, taking on William King, 6-4-2 (3 KOs) of Lynwood, California, over six, and a six-round super welterweight battle between KJ Wailele, 4-0 (2 KOs), of Hawaii and Juan Carlos Campos Medina, 4-3 (3 KOs), of Mexico.

HOUSTON – June 25, 2026 – Former unified world champion and pound-for-pound great Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. and undefeated two-division world champion Jermall Charlo held a media workout in Houston on Wednesday ahead of their respective showdowns taking place Saturday, July 25 in a PBC Pay-Per-View event available LIVE on Prime Video from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia.  

Two of this era’s biggest stars, Spence and Charlo are currently training camp partners in Houston with legendary trainer Ronnie Shields, as they each prepare to head down under looking to make statements on their way to winning world titles in new weight classes.

The former three-belt 147-pound champion Spence will take on Australian superstar and former world champion Tim Tszyu in the pivotal 154-pound main event matchup, while Houston’s Charlo will return to action against Australia’s Koen Mazoudier in a 10-round super middleweight clash.

In addition to the PPV being available for purchase on Prime Video, regardless of Prime membership, fans will also be able to continue to access the telecast through traditional cable and satellite outlets, as well as PPV.com.

ERROL SPENCE JR.

“Camp has been great. I can’t complain at all. We’re putting in the work and leaving no stone unturned. I’m excited.

“Ronnie’s style fits me well. I’ve always been a huge fan of Jermall and how he fights. Plus Ronnie has the experience too. I listened to Ronnie’s concept of training and I felt like it fit me to a t. When we worked out, the chemistry felt really good.

“I had my first world title fight overseas, plus countless amateur fights. So it’s something I’ve always been comfortable with. I’m not worried about the fans or anything like that, because at the end of the day it’s just me and him in there.

“This was the right time to come back, and against the right opponent. My body feels good, so I said why not?

“Charlo and I were in the amateurs together as kids, so it’s dope to have somebody that I’ve known a long time in the same gym here and on the same card. We’re focused on the task at hand and that’s conquering Australia.

“My motivation to come back is about myself and my personal goals. Everything about training just excites me. You’ve gotta enjoy it while it lasts, because one day it’ll be over. I’m taking it one fight at a time.”

JERMALL CHARLO

“I’m one of the few fighters that have barely lost any rounds in my career, let alone lost a fight. It’s my game plan to just go out there and dominate. If he makes the wrong move, he’s gonna get knocked out.

“I’ve been training really hard and staying at peace. I can tell it’s working by the way my body’s flowing. Everything is just really clicking.

“I normally am one of the few guys who like to really study my opponents, but I don’t know anything about him. I’m putting my trust in Ronnie Shields. I’m gonna go in there and be ready to make adjustments.

“Errol and I are kind of total opposites. He doesn’t talk as much as me, he’s just about the work. I like to talk a little more. We used to be roommates in the amateurs and now we have this chance to work around each other in the pros. He works hard and I love training around him.

“I want to go for another world title in a third weight division. I feel a lot more comfortable at 168. It really doesn’t matter who they put in front of me. I feel like I’m gonna have my advantages in this division. I’m planning to make this quarter of my career the best one.

“At this point I’ve seen every style in boxing. My focus is just different now. I’ve eliminated distractions. I feel fresh at this point in my career. I’m doing all of the things that I’m supposed to be doing.

“I just want to give everyone some real fights. I want to get in there with warriors and do it for the fans. I pick my shots precisely and I have the power to hurt you at the end of the day. I’m here for the long run.  

“Once we get in the ring, I’m locked in. It doesn’t matter where we’re fighting.”

ABOUT SPENCE VS. TSZYU

Spence vs. Tszyu will see former unified three-belt world champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. make his much-anticipated return to the ring in a high-stakes showdown against Australian superstar and former 154-pound world champion Tim Tszyu on Saturday, July 25 headlining a PBC Pay-Per-View event available on Prime Video LIVE in U.S. primetime from Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia.  

The action will also feature the undefeated two-division world champion Jermall Charlo stepping in to face Australia’s Koen Mazoudier in a 10-round super middleweight battle, while former 122 and 126-pound world champion Stephen Fulton Jr. will face Australian former title challenger Liam Wilson in a 10-round super featherweight attraction.
