In round one, Criocker landed a big right hook that put McComb m the deck.

McComb, 139.7 lbs of Belfast, NI won by scores of 96-93 on all cards and is now 20-2. Crocker, 139.8 lbs of Swansea, WAL is 14-1-1.

Gradus Krause remained undefeated with a six-round decision over Scott Forrest in a cruiserweight bout.

In the opening minute, Krause planted Forrest on the canvas with a right hand to the head.

Krause, 202 lbs of Oss, NTH won by a score of 60-53 and is now 8-0. Forrest, 204.1 lbs of Edinburgh, SCO is 7-2.

Tysie Gallagher won a 10-round unanimous decision over Ellie Hellewell in a super bantamweight bout.

Gallagher, 121.75 lbs of Luton, UK won by scores of 97-93, 98-93 and 97-94 and is now 10-2. Hellewell, 121.7 lbs or Doncaster, UK is 7-1.

Shakeil Thompson stopped Grant Dennis in round two of their eight-round super middleweight bout.

In round two, Thompson landed a right to the body that sent Dennis to a knee for the 10-count at 1:43.

Thompson, 163.1 lbs of Sheffield, ENG i s 15-0 with 11 knockouts. Dennis, 166.75 lbs of Chatham, ENG is 15-17-4.

Ed Hardy won a six-round decision over Jose Manuel Perez in a junior lightweight bout.

Hardy, 126.25 lbs of Dancaster, ENG won by a 60-54 score and is now 5-0. Perez, 130 lbs of Costa Rica is 16-25-1.

Sheffield, England – (August 11, 2025) – The world title is in touching distance for super-lightweight standout Sean McComb (19-2, 5 KO’s) as he heads to Sheffield’s Canon Medical Arena on Saturday, September 27th for an IBF European Super-Lightweight Championship challenge against Ben Crocker (14-0, 2 KO’s).

The championship clash headlines the GBM: ON THE EDGE main card – which airs live and exclusively worldwide on DAZN – and will see the winner enter the top ten of the IBF super-lightweight rankings.

In the chief support bout, reigning British and Commonwealth super-bantamweight champion Tysie Gallagher (9-2) returns to the ring to take on undefeated challenger Ellie Hellewell (7-0, 1 KO). The sharp southpaw champion makes her second consecutive two-title defence and faces an all-action contender taking her first shot at these prestigious belts.

The main card also features Dutch demolition man Gradus Kraus (7-0, 7 KO’s). The power-punching young light-heavyweight prodigy – trained by Peter Fury – has electrified audiences in the UK and his native Netherlands throughout 2025. In June he scored a stunning second-round stoppage on a GBM main card and looks to repeat the feat next month.

For McComb – who is widely agreed to have suffered a robbery in his split-decision loss to Edson Barboza Jr in their April 2024 WBO world title eliminator – this European title clash with Crocker is the crucial first step on what could be a short road to a world title shot against reigning IBF champion Richardson Hitchins. 

Belfast man McComb says, “I see a clear pathway to the world title starting in Sheffield on September 27th against Ben Crocker. The IBF European Championship is on the line and a win should see me enter the rankings top ten, where I’ve already got an amateur win over Lindolfo Delgado. He’s ranked #3 now, so maybe me and him could rematch in a world title eliminator for a shot at Richardson Hitchins. So we’re in touching distance here. 

“First I have to beat Ben Crocker next month, so all my focus is on that. I like what I’ve seen of him – he’s a tall, rangy southpaw and he likes to finish last in every exchange. It’s a good style, but I’ll figure it out and I’ll get the win. I think our styles match well to make a good fight for the fans and a really important fight for my career.”

For proud Welshman Crocker, this fight is a chance to take a top name and open up big opportunities.

Joe Cordina thrilled his hometown fans by violently knocking out Kenichi Ogawa in round two to win the IBF Junior Lightweight title at The Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

In Round two, Cordina landed a perfect right to the jaw that splattered Ogawa on the canvas, and the fight was stopped.

Cordina, 129.6 lbs of Cardiff, WAL is now 15-0 with nine knockouts. Ogawa, 129.4 lbs of Tokyo, JAP is now 26-2-1.

Barrett Decisions Kourbanov

Zelfa Barrett won a 12-round unanimous decision over Faroukh Kourbanov in a junior lightweight bout.

Barrett Mancherster, ENG is 28-1. Kourbanov of Dison, BEL is 19-4.

Dalton Smith stops Perouene after six

Dalton Smith remained undefeated by stopping Mauro Peroune after round six of their 10-round super lightweight fight.

In round six, Smith dropped Perouene with a right hand. After round six, the fight was stopped.

Smith, 138.5 lbs of Sheffield, ENG is 11-0 with nine knockouts. Perouene, 139.4 lns of Santa Rosa, ARG is 14-6-1.

Nicolson Decisions Bouvier

Skye Nicolson remained undefeated with an eight-round decision over Gabriela Bouvier in a featherweight fight.

Nicolson, 127.3 lbs of Queensland, Australia won by an 80-72 score is now 4-0. Bouvier, 127.2 lbs of Maldonado, URA is 15-11-1.

Yafai Stops Cairns in 4

Gamal Yafai stopped Sean Cairns in round four of their eight-round super bantamweight fight.

In round four, Yafai dropped Cairns with a hard left hook to the jaw and the bout was stopped at 1:55.

Yafai, 124 lbs of Birmingham, ENG is 19-2 with 11 knockouts. Cairns 124.3 lbs of Liverpool, ENG is 8-3.

Callum French won an eight-round decision over Gadatamen Taylor in a super lightweight contest.

French, 137.25 lbs of Gateshead, ENG won by a 79-73 score and is now 3-0. Taylor, 137.5 lbs of Palma de Mallorco, SPA is 4-10-1.

Kyran Jones remained undefeated with a four-round decision over Vasif Mamedov in a middleweight fight.

In round two, Jones dropped Mamedov with a straight left.

Ester Konecna spoiled the pro debut of Monique Bux by winning a four-round decision in a super middleweight bout.
