BKFC CELEBRATES 8TH ANNIVERSARY WITH FULL NIGHT OF EXPLOSIVE ACTION AT SOLD-OUT HARD ROCK LIVE – HOLLYWOOD, FL

Hollywood, FL (June 4, 2026) The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports PromotionBare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) celebrated its 8th Anniversary in style on Thursday evening with a night of explosive action at the sold-out Hard Rock Live – Hollywood, FL.

Undefeated Broward County, FL welterweight contender Bryce “Baba Yaga” Henry kept his spotless record intact in Thursday’s Main Event after Julian “Let Me Bang” Lane was disqualified in the fourth round of their heated matchup. The referee called a stop to the fight 35 seconds into the penultimate round after Lane wrestled Henry to the canvas. The bout was previously paused due to repeated strikes to the back of Henry’s head from the Mansfield, OH product Lane. Henry is now 7-0 and yet to enter the fifth round in his BKFC career. Lane entered fight night as the #2 Ranked Contender in BKFC’s welterweight division.

“Look at his face. I (expletive) his face totally up. Nobody can (expletive) with me. It was easy. He had to cheat to try and win,” Henry said in his post-fight interview. Former Welterweight World Champion Lane moves to 9-10 with the loss.

Thursday’s action aired LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.

Former BKFC Welterweight World Champion Gorjan “GoGo” Slaveski earned a hard-fought, unanimous decision over upset minded warrior Jonny “El Toro” Tello in Thursday’s Co-Main Event. Slaveski sent Tello to the canvas twice, leading to the sensational victory across all three judge’s cards (47-46×2, 48-45). The Macedonia-born Miami, FL product upped his record to 8-1 with the win. Slaveski called out Darren “The Gorilla” Till in his post-fight interview: “Give me that guy!”

Here are some highlights from BKFC Founder and President David Feldman at the post-event press conference.

“I thought it was a phenomenal night. This is one of the best all-around fight cards we’ve had at Hard Rock. We had another sellout here. This is our 16th straight sellout here. Thank you to the fans and fighters because that was an amazing night.”

“Obviously, the ending wasn’t what we wanted in the main event. A frustrated Julian Lane took down Bryce Henry and he got disqualified, which he should have. I don’t like that at all. It was heating up to be a great fight.”

Knockout of the Night: Julio Perez.

BKFC’S LIBERTY BRAWL: JOHNNY ‘CANNOLI’ GARBARINO VS. MIKE ‘THE MARINE’ RICHMAN ANNOUNCED AS FEATURE FIGHT FRIDAY, JULY 3 AT THE XFINITY MOBILE ARENA

Philadelphia, PA (May 28, 2026) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, has announced the Feature Fight at Liberty Brawl, a Middleweight Rivalry Clash between Undefeated Philly Sports Fan Favorite Johnny ‘Cannoli’ Garbarino, (4-0, 4 KOs) and Former Two-Time BKFC World Champion and #5 Ranked Mike ‘The Marine’ Richman, (8-3), of Rosemount, MN.

Liberty Brawl, Philadelphia’s 250th Anniversary Celebration of America, is set for Friday, July 3 emanating from the Xfinity Mobile Arena. Tickets are Now On-Sale and can be purchased online at BKFC.com. Liberty Brawl marks the third BKFC event at the Xfinity Mobile Arena; the previous two historical record setting sellouts taking place at Knuckle Mania VI on January 25, 2025 (Attendance 17,762) and Knuckle Mania VI on February 7, 2026 (Attendance 18, 217).

“Johnny ‘Cannoli’ Garbarino has become one of the most popular professional athletes in Philly with his exciting victories along with his fan friendly style and charisma,” said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC. “However, Mike Richman is one of the most accomplished and baddest men we’ve had in BKFC. This is an explosive matchup and one that truly belongs on this monumental card celebrating the 250th Anniversary of our country.”

“Our last two events at Xfinity Mobile Arena have sold-out and I strongly encourage fans to purchase tickets in advance for this can’t miss Philly event.”

Said Johnny Garbarino, “BKFC’s Liberty Brawl in Philadelphia is going to be special for me. Fighting a veteran like Mike Richman on one of the biggest stages of my career is exactly the type of challenge I asked for. I always said that in order to be the best you have to beat the best. I’m fighting to prove that I belong amongst the top names in BKFC.”

“On July 3rd, in historic South Philadelphia at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, I plan on making history. Not just Philadelphia sports history, but world combat sports history. I believe the fireworks are going to come a day early this year, and cannoli’s are gonna fly.”

“This isn’t just another venue to me, this is my backyard. I grew up blocks from this arena. I played here as a kid, fought here as a man, and built my name in this city. These aren’t just fans to me. These are my people. We come from the same blood. The blood of Italian Americans. Nobody comes into South Philadelphia expecting to take my place in front of my people. July 3 is going to be my night, and a memorable night for the fans. I promise.”

Stated Mike Richman, “This kid will be a star one day just not against me! I’m not the star gate keeper. I’m still fighting for gold! Let’s F*cking go!”

Among the most popular stars in the sport’s rich city of Philadelphia, the hard-hitting Johnny Garbarino burst onto the BKFC scene with a first-round stoppage against Apostle Spencer at KnuckleMania V. Following the victory, Garbarino proposed to his future wife Gianna to the roar of the crowd inside the sold-out Xfinity Mobile Arena. Additional knockout victories in front of his massive local fan base have come against Rayne Wells (KO-1), Erik Lopez (KO-2) and most recently against Kaine Tomlinson Jr. at KnuckleMania VI. A longtime chef specializing in Italian cooking, Garbarino has also impressed fans and media with the ‘distributing’ of cannoli’s at press events resulting in numerous viral moments.

Mike Richman first attained world title glory at BKFC-31 stopping fellow contender Isaac Doolittle in the third round garnering the BKFC Light Heavyweight World Title. He reclaimed the title with a stunning first round knockout of Jared Warren on December 21, 2024. In his Philly debut at KnuckleMania VI, Richman won a dominant decision over battle-tested veteran Joe Elmore. Among the world champions and top contenders Richman has fought in memorable battles include; Lorenzo Hunt, David Mundell, Josh Dyer, Erick Lozano, David Rickels and Dakota Cochrane.

Come at me, boy! Don’t be scared. Come on, papi. (The belt) is mine. It’s mine, and everybody knows it!”

Cuban-born Miami fighter Bryan “El Gallo” Duran needed just 19 seconds to steamroll Derek “Rage” Perez in Friday’s Featured Fight. The former BKFC World Featherweight Title challenger is no

Here are some highlights from BKFC Founder/President David Feldman’s post-event press conference.

Fight of the Night: Kai Stewart vs. Nico Gaffie

Knockout of the Night: Bryan Duran

Performance of the Night: Jancarlos Rivera

On BKFC 87: “We asked the guys to come fight, and they came to fight tonight. This was the liveliest crowd we’ve had in a long time. The energy out there was amazing. It was a great night; I’m very, very happy with the event.”

On Kai Stewart’s next fight: “We have to think about what’s next. What do the fans want? I’m always with what the fans want. It’s not always about the rankings. If the fans don’t want it and don’t enjoy it … I’ve got to give the fans what they want.”

On Leonardo Perdomo’s performance: “He came in in great shape and got the first-round knockout. I think this was the most devastating he’s looked. His punches were shorter and he came out and scored a really, really great knockout against a tough veteran.”

Anderson, IN strawweight Shelby “Boom Boom” Cannon earned the biggest win of her career as she defeated the previously unbeaten Rosalinda “Venom” Rodriguez via split decision. Two judges scored the bout in favor of Cannon (48-46, 49-45) and one judge had it 49-46 for Rodriguez. Cannon is now 2-1, while the Fort Lauderdale, FL product Rodriguez falls to 3-1 with the loss. Charleston, SC’s Roberto “El Gallo Negro” Armas rose to the occasion in his 10th BKFC bout, halting the rise of the previously undefeated AJ “The Biggest” Rodriguez in bantamweight action. Rodriguez’s corner called a stop to the bout at the conclusion of the third round. Armas is now 5-5 following his stoppage victory. The Venezuelan-born Miami product Rodriguez is now 3-1.

Unbeaten Fort Myers, FL bantamweight Jancarlos “Baby Hulk” Rivera smashed his way to 3-0 with a first-round stoppage over Samuel “Ace O’ Spades” Samples in their bantamweight showdown. Rivera picked himself up off the canvas and rallied for the stoppage with just one second left in the opening round. That’s now back-to-back, first-round finishes for Rivera, while the Madison County, GA fighter Samples is now 3-5.

Clewiston, FL product Chris “Dynamite” Garcia cruised to 6-1 with a second-round stoppage over Chancey “Supaflyy” Wilson — his second straight stoppage victory. Below are quotes from the participants;

David Feldman, BKFC Founder/President

“It’s great to be back here again. Last year we blew the roof off of Wells Fargo Arena, and we’re going to do it again at Xfinity Mobile Arena. We’re going to break the (local, modern day combat sports) record and it’s going to be an unbelievable event.”

“I guarantee you this is the best card we’ve had from top to bottom. I’m very excited for every fight on this card. So many OGs, so many guys that have helped us build BKFC to where it is today. Thank you very much to all the fighters.”

“Big” Ben Rothwell, BKFC Heavyweight World Champion

“The mission is always the same; go out and deliver the most exciting fight possible for the fans. Because of the fans, I get to be out here doing this. When I’m on the card, everyone knows what they’re going to get. I only fight at one speed, and that’s beating your (expletive), and you’re going to see that on Saturday night.”

Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski, BKFC Heavyweight World Title Challenger

“Thank you very much for this great opportunity. I’m very excited to be a part of this event on Saturday, and I’m going to do everything I can to bring home the belt.”

Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt, BKFC Light-Heavyweight World Champion

“I’d like to give the Biggest (expletive) Award to Yoel Romero.”

“David Mundell, your card has been pulled. Your number is up.”

David “Redneck” Mundell, BKFC Middleweight World Champion

“Opportunity came calling and I answered. That’s all it comes down to.”

“Size don’t win fights. Skills do, and I’m way better than he is.”

Johnny “Cannoli” Garbarino Jr.

“I’m going to go right through you, bro. I’m going to smash your face. Put all your money on me, because he’s getting knocked the (expletive) out.”

“I’m going to beat the (expletive) out of you. You don’t stand a chance.”

Ben “The Bomber” Bonner, former BKFC Lightweight World Champion

“Everybody knows that I’m the best lightweight on the planet. I still should be the World Champion. I was robbed. As we sit here today, I am the best lightweight on the planet. If I have to beat Tony Soto again to go take what’s rightfully mine, then that’s exactly what’s going to happen.”

“I battered him all over Texas, and the same thing is going to happen on Saturday.”

Tony “Loco” Soto, former BKFC Lightweight World Title challenger

“There’s not a lot of people that put on fights like I do, straight up. Saturday, I’m going to pick you apart. Whether you want to believe it or not, this is the first time in my career that I’m actually healthy, and that’s dangerous.”

Mike “The Marine” Richman, former BKFC Light-Heavyweight World Champion

“Welcome to the big leagues, Joe. I came back because I like to fight. He’s talking, but when I hit you, you go down. You’re not going to get back up, and I’m going to (expletive) you up.”

Joe “Hitman” Elmore

“I’ve got nothing to lose. I’m two stupid judges from being a BKFC World Champion. I’ve got a Champion that has everything to lose. He has two World Championships, and I’m just a savage jumping up a weight class. He’s beaten the (expletive) out of everyone, but I’m not scared one bit. I’m excited.”

Jade “Evil Smile” Masson-Wong, former BKFC Women’s Flyweight Title challenger

“It’s been five years, so we’ve both improved a lot since then. It’s going to be a war because we both love to go to war. We’re not scared.”

Crystal “Rugged Beauty” Pittman

“Five years was a very long time ago. We both like to go to war, and we’re going to do it again. It’s going to be very exciting.”

Patrick “The Brick” Brady

“My hands turn into bricks, and I plan on busting a brick on Bear Hill’s head on Saturday night. Knuckles to head.”

Pat “The Irishman” Sullivan

“It’s an honor to fight him. I’m going to punch his teeth in, and I’ll buy him new teeth after.”

“Felony” Charles Bennett

“I’ve been doing this for 25 years and nobody has taken these pretty gold teeth yet.”

“Don’t overextend; I’m touching that chin.”

Cody Russell

“Everyone in this sport is dangerous. I respect my opponent, but I asked for this fight. I asked for it because I want to make my mark in this division. Last year I showed that I belong on this stage, and this year I’m going to start taking names, and I’m going to show that on Saturday night.”

Lex “The Grizzly Bear” Ludlow

“On Saturday night, I’m going to knock Zach Calmus out and put him back where he belongs, on the streets of Boston.”

Zedekiah “King” Montanez

“Last fight I winged it with my MMA training, but I’ve been locked in the boxing gym, so I’m just excited to right my wrong and come out Saturday night and be victorious.”
