“KING” KAI STEWART AND LEONARDO “EL ZAMBO” PERDOMO CONTINUE  UNPRECEDENTED PATHS OF DESTRUCTION AT BKFC-87! BKFC SELLS OUT HARD ROCK LIVE FOR 15TH STRAIGHT TIME!

Hollywood, FL (March 20, 2026) “King” Kai Stewart defended his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) World Featherweight Title for a record-tying sixth time in the Main Event of BKFC 87 on Friday night at the sold-out Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

The Great Falls, MT product defended his crown with a hard-fought, unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Nico “The Iron” Gaffie, the #3 ranked contender in the BKFC featherweight division. Two judges scored the fight 49-46 and one had it 48-47, all in favor of the undisputed World Champion.

“I am the King of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship,” Stewart proclaimed in his post-fight interview. “I’m the best bare knuckle fighter in the world. I’m going to continue to get better, I’m going to continue to grow, and I’m going to continue repping the most exciting sport in the world as the (expletive) King!”

Stewart is now 9-0 in the Squared Circle. Gaffie, the inaugural BKFC European Featherweight Champion from Marbella, Spain, is now 3-1 under the BKFC banner.

Only Stewart, Christine “Misfit” Ferea and Luis “Baboon” Palomino have defended a BKFC World Title six times.

BKFC 87 aired LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App and was BKFC’s 15th straight sold-out event at the legendary Hard Rock Live.

Undefeated Cuban heavyweight sensation Leonardo “El Zambo” Perdomo continued his unprecedented path of destruction in Friday’s Co-Main Event, cruising to 11-0 with his 10th first-round finish at the expense of UFC vet Rashad “Daywalker” Coulter. The Miami fighter only needed 67 seconds to roll through Coulter, who entered fight night with a bare-knuckle fighting record of 2-1.

Perdomo, the #1 ranked contender in the BKFC heavyweight division, took aim at BKFC World Heavyweight Champion Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski before the two undefeated heavyweights faced off in the middle of the ring. “Arlovski, where are you? Come at me, boy! Don’t be scared. Come on, papi. (The belt) is mine. It’s mine, and everybody knows it!”

Cuban-born Miami fighter Bryan “El Gallo” Duran needed just 19 seconds to steamroll Derek “Rage” Perez in Friday’s Featured Fight. The former BKFC World Featherweight Title challenger is no

8-1-1 and entered fight night as the #5 ranked contender in the BKFC featherweight division. Perez, who hails from Belem, NM, is now 4-5.

Duran reinforced his BKFC World Featherweight Title aspirations in his post-fight interview: “I apologize for letting you guys down (in my first BKFC title fight against Stewart). But I promise you that when I fight for the belt again, I’m bringing it home to Miami!”

Here are some highlights from BKFC Founder/President David Feldman’s post-event press conference.

Fight of the Night: Kai Stewart vs. Nico Gaffie

Knockout of the Night: Bryan Duran

Performance of the Night: Jancarlos Rivera

On BKFC 87: “We asked the guys to come fight, and they came to fight tonight. This was the liveliest crowd we’ve had in a long time. The energy out there was amazing. It was a great night; I’m very, very happy with the event.”

On Kai Stewart’s next fight: “We have to think about what’s next. What do the fans want? I’m always with what the fans want. It’s not always about the rankings. If the fans don’t want it and don’t enjoy it … I’ve got to give the fans what they want.”

On Leonardo Perdomo’s performance: “He came in in great shape and got the first-round knockout. I think this was the most devastating he’s looked. His punches were shorter and he came out and scored a really, really great knockout against a tough veteran.”

Anderson, IN strawweight Shelby “Boom Boom” Cannon earned the biggest win of her career as she defeated the previously unbeaten Rosalinda “Venom” Rodriguez via split decision. Rodriguez’s corner called a stop to the bout at the conclusion of the third round. Armas is now 5-5 following his stoppage victory. The Venezuelan-born Miami product Rodriguez is now 3-1.

“The mission is always the same; go out and deliver the most exciting fight possible for the fans. Because of the fans, I get to be out here doing this. LORENZO HUNT VS. DAVID MUNDELL NEW CO-MAIN EVENT AT KNUCKLEMANIA VI — YOEL ROMERO BOWS OUT DUE TO ILLNESS

Philadelphia, PA (January 27, 2026) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, has announced a new co-main event for

KnuckleMania VI with BKFC Fighting Legend and Light Heavyweight World Champion Lorenzo ‘The Juggernaut’ Hunt, (12-2), of Jacksonville, FL now facing BKFC Pound-for-Pound #1 Ranked and Middleweight World Champion David ‘The Redneck’ Mundell, (10-1), of Dunedin, FL in a non-title catchweight battle at 199lbs.

Due to his falling ill, Yoel Romero will not be competing at KnuckleMania VI in his previously announced fight with Lorenzo Hunt.

The highly anticipated KnuckleMania VI event is set for Saturday, February 7, 2026 emanating from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

On January 25, 2025, BKFC’s KnuckleMania V event set a local, modern day combat sports attendance record of 17,762. Remaining tickets for KnuckleMania VI can be purchased online at BKFC.com.

“It’s unfortunate that Yoel Romero has taken ill and is unable to compete at KnuckleMania VI,” said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC. “However, Lorenzo Hunt versus David Mundell is an iconic clash between two of the very best bare-knuckle fighters in the world and two of the most accomplished in our company. Fans should expect an explosive battle with fireworks from the opening bell.”

Said Lorenzo Hunt about the new matchup, “I’m pissed that Yoel Romero chickened out of the fight at the last minute. But in honesty, he was a fool to accept the fight with me in the first place in his golden years. I heard somewhere that Cuba has free medical care. He was gonna need it. I honestly don’t care who they put in there with me. It’s my time. I am the best bare-knuckle fighter in the world, anyone who stands across from me at this point in my life will be hospitalized, I guarantee it.”

“Lorenzo Hunt has made a career out of talking, I’ve made a career out of stopping people,” said David Mundell. “KnuckleMania VI is the perfect stage to remind everyone why I’m the Middleweight Champion and the pound-for-pound best in BKFC. Expect violence!

Stated Yoel Romero, “Unfortunately I have to withdraw from my scheduled fight against Lorenzo Hunt at KnuckleMania VI due to a very strong strain of the flu. During my weight cut for RAF I felt my immune system was low and I was feeling very weak.  A few days after my January 10th RAF match I started to experience severe flu symptoms. I am extremely disappointed but I’ve been unable to train and I need to make my health a priority. I look forward to returning to action to face Lorenzo Hunt at a later date.”

                                                ——————————————–

Lorenzo ‘The Juggernaut’ Hunt, (12-2), of Jacksonville, FL. won his third BKFC World Title, recapturing the light-heavyweight title in remarkable fashion against champion Josh Dyer on November 15, 2025. Hunt, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest bare-knuckle fighters of all time, picked himself up off the canvas twice and rallied for the jaw-dropping knockout with just one second remaining in the opening round of his highly anticipated rematch with Dyer. VIDEO: Knucklemania 6 Explosive Press Conference

QUOTES FROM KNUCKLEMANIA VI LAUNCH PRESS CONFERENCE

Philadelphia, PA (December 17, 2025) David Feldman, Founder and President of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC)The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, hosted the KnuckleMania VI Launch Press Conference at the 2300 Arena today for the highly anticipated event set for Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

On January 25, 2025, BKFC’s KnuckleMania V event set a local, modern day combat sports attendance record of 17,762. Tickets for KnuckleMania VI can be purchased online at BKFC.com.

Headlining KnuckleMania VI, ‘Big’ Ben Rothwell defends his BKFC Heavyweight World Title against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei ‘The Pitbull’ Arlovski. Co-headlining BKFC Fighting Legend and Current Light Heavyweight Champion Lorenzo ‘The Juggernaut’ Hunt battles Cuban MMA Legend Yoel ‘Soldier of God’ Romero in a non-title matchup at a catchweight of 210lbs.

In the feature fight at KnuckleMania VI, arch-rivals clash in a heated rivalry, immediate rematch with #2 Ranked Lightweight Ben ‘The Bomber’ Bonner facing #3 Ranked Tony ‘Loco’ Soto. Their first fight on June 21, 2025 was a Sure-Fire Candidate for Fight of the Year. Top lightweight female fighter’s face-off in a long-awaited rematch with #1 Ranked Jade Masson-Wong battling Crystal ‘The Rugged Beauty’ Pittman.

Local Philly favorites fighting on the KnuckleMania VI undercard include; John Garbarino Jr., Pat Brady, Pat Sullivan, Joey Dawejko and Lex Ludlow.

Below are initial quotes from the press conference;

David Feldman, BKFC Founder and President

“We have a lot of fireworks that we’re going to announce in the next couple weeks. Thank you so much to the fans and thank you so much to the fighters. This is going to be the biggest and best event that we’ve put on in the history of BKFC.”

“This is the baddest, purest combat sport on the face of Planet Earth. People want real, and this is as real as it gets.”

‘Big’ Ben Rothwell

“I’m fighting a guy that has two wins against me on the MMA circuit. This is a fight that I wasn’t sure was going to happen, but here it is, it’s happening. I have some big words to back up, but I sincerely mean what I’ve said. When you come to do bare knuckle, it’s a different animal, and it’s something that I know passionately. I’m going to prove that I’m the best heavyweight in the world.”

Andrei ‘The Pitbull’ Arlovski

“(Expletive) you guys. I’ll prove you wrong, again. Feb. 7 in Philadelphia. Stay healthy and train hard, my friend.”

Lorenzo ‘The Juggernaut’ Hunt

“I’m coming here to get rid of this guy. He’s been spoiled. He’s been taken care of. He’s been playing the ‘paper champ game.’ I’m the real deal, and I’m getting rid of this guy. Let’s go, Philly.”

“He moves pretty good for his age. I like him as a fighter, but he’s not the toughest guy I’ve fought. I’d say Josh Dyer was my toughest fight, and you saw what happened to him. This is a different sport. This is different. You don’t get to grapple and hold on until the ref stops. A lot of the garbage you got taught in MMA, you don’t get to do here. And who better to teach them than me? And where better to teach them than Philly?”

Yoel ‘The Soldier of God’ Romero,

“Thank you BKFC to be here one more time. BKFC is an amazing company. God gave me talent and opportunity, and everything is possible when you believe. God bless everyone.”

Tony ‘Loco’ Soto

“I’m going to (expletive) him up. I’m going to beat the living (expletive) out of him, because this is the first time that I’m fighting with BKFC close to where I’m from, Brooklyn, and we’re going to knock these (expletives) down.”

John ‘Johnny Cannoli’ Garbarino

I just want to say that I appreciate everybody from the bottom of my heart. I’m going to avenge my guy, Pat Sullivan, and I’m 100-percent now and I’m working my butt off. I’ve had a lot of time to be prepared physically, mentally and spiritually, and I’m going to (expletive) him up.”

Kaine ‘K-9 Tomlinson Jr.,

“First-round KO. He’s going out on a stretcher, just like his homeboy did.”

Pat ‘The Irishman’ Sullivan

“We might steal the show that night. He’s a legend. We’re going to put on a show, and it’s going to go however I want it.”

Patrick ‘The Brick’ Brady

“This (expletive) is going to be fireworks. We’re both 2-0. He’s a big boy. It’s going to be fun. This is a fight that I liked and wanted. My plan is to always push myself and fight the best guys.”

Lex ‘The Grizzly Bear’ Ludlow

“I know this guy needs a good paycheck. Let’s get him off the streets and give him a good paycheck. I’m going to bless Zach Calmus by knocking him out on Feb. 7 in front of everybody, and then I’m going to call Chris Camozzi out again, and we’ll see if he’s man enough to step into the ring with me.”

Hollywood, FL (Dec. 5, 2025) The unbeaten Austin “No Doubt” Trout kept his spotless record intact and cashed his ticket to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) Lightweight World Title Tournament Final by defeating Luis “Baboon” Palomino in their highly anticipated rematch in the Main Event of BKFC 85 on Friday night at the sold-out Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

The ringside doctor called a stop to the fight at the conclusion of the third round due to vision issues from Palomino. I’m going to go over there and I’m going to beat Tenaglia. I’m not taking anyone lightly, but I’m going to be the next BKFC Lightweight World Champion in my next fight.”

Palomino is a former two-division BKFC World Champion and entered Friday’s action as the No. 4 contender in the BKFC lightweight division. He is now 10-2, with both of his losses coming against Trout at Hard Rock Live.

BKFC 85 was the 14th straight sold-out event that the promotion has held at Hard Rock Live. It was broadcast LIVE worldwide on DAZN.

Ibarrola channeled his inner “Platinum” Mike Perry in his post-fight interview: “Don’t (expletive) underestimate me, baby. I’m a durable (expletive); I don’t care how many punches you land on me. I’ve got cuts and bruises on me, but you can’t (expletive) me up — I’m going to get you one time! It only takes one punch!”

The Clearwater, FL product Reber is now 7-2, with his only losses coming in matchups for the BKFC  Bantamweight World Title.

Undefeated heavyweight sensation Leonardo “El Zambo” Perdomo kept his spotless record intact in Friday’s Featured Fight, climbing to 10-0 with his 10th straight stoppage victory over the previously unbeaten Corey “What U Talkin’ About” Willis.

In his first fight to go past the first round, the Cuban-born Miami product floored Willis four times before their fight was stopped at 1:33 in Round 3. He entered Friday’s action as the No. 1 ranked contender in the BKFC heavyweight division.

Willis, who represents Billings, MT, is now 2-1.

BKFC Founder and President David Feldman made several exciting announcements on the BKFC 85 broadcast on DAZN, including that BKFC 86 will go down Jan. 17 at the iconic Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, with Julian “Let Me Bang” Lane defending his BKFC Welterweight World Title for the first time against Dustin “The Disciple” Pague in the Main Event.

On the BKFC 85 Main Event: “Obviously it didn’t end up the way we wanted it to end up, but it happens. That’s the fight game. We had an injury. Luis Palomino had an injury and couldn’t see out of his eye, so they called the fight.”

About Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC)

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is the first promotion allowed to hold a legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889. Based in Philadelphia, and headed by President and former professional boxer David Feldman, BKFC is dedicated to preserving the historical legacy of bare knuckle fighting, while utilizing a specifically created rule set that emphasizes fighter safety. BKFC holds all of its bouts in a revolutionary circular four-rope ring, designed to encourage fast-paced and exciting bouts. The patented BKFC “Squared Circle” contains scratch lines, based on the Broughton Rules which governed bare knuckle fighting in the 19th century, and which requires fighters to “Toe the Line”: start every round face to face, and just inches apart.

In BKFC, only those fighters who are established professionals in boxing, MMA, kickboxing, or Muay Thai are allowed to compete. The referees and judges are required to have extensive professional combat sports experience. All fights are held under the auspices and control of an Athletic Commission. Unlike other fighting organizations and combat sports internationally which claim to be “bare knuckle”, but require wraps, tape, and gauze; BKFC is true to its word as fighters are not allowed to wrap their hands to within one inch of the knuckle. This makes BKFC unquestionably the truest form of bare knuckle fighting. BKFC is dedicated to not just creating the safest, most exciting, and highest-level bare-knuckle fighting organization in the world, it’s also leading the way for a new fully recognized professional combat sport. BKFC is truly the sport of the future, which fully respects its remarkable past.
