Price Decisions Diaz In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA–Dylan Price came off his first professional defeat with a eight-round majority decision over Sean Diaz in a super bantamweight bout that headlined a five-bout card at The Live! Casino Hotel in Philadelphia.

Price of Sicklerville, PA won by scores of 77-75 twice and 76-76 and is now 21-1. Diaz of Guadalajara. MEX is 9-2.

Adonis Wilkins remained undefeated by stopping Juan De La Cruz Rodriguez in a junior middleweight bout.

Wilkins scored two knockdowns in round five and the fight was stopped Rodriguez did not want to continue at 58 seconds.

Wilkins of Newark, DE is 8-0 with seven knockouts. Rodriguez of Front Royal, VA is 13-33-1.

Amilliohn Lovera won a six-round unanimous decision over Manuel De Jesus Hernandez Alonso in a super flyweight fight.

Lovera of Philadelphia won by scores of 59-55 and 58-56 twice and is now 3-0. Alonso of Mexico is 4-9-1.

Everlon Still and Cali Box battled to a six-round draw in a super middleweight bout.

Still took a card 60-54 and two other cards were 58-58.

Still of Voorhees, NJ is 4-2-1. Box of Franklin Township, NJ is 5-0-1.

David Hardy Jr. won a four-round majority decision over Darnell Jackson in a super featherweight fight.

Hardy of Chester. PA won by scores of 39-37 twice and 38-38 and is now 4-1. Jackson of Gary, IN is 0-3.




Gladiator Management Fighters In Action This Fall

NJ’s Gladiator Boxing Management is still going strong after 20 years. Owner Shawn Darling from Gladiator Gym is keeping his current crop of professionals busy. The roster includes heavyweight: Chris “Sandman” Thomas (15-2-2, 10 KOs), super middleweight Cali “Ninja” Box (5-0, 2 KOs), light heavyweight Tyler “Ghost” Vanorden (4-0, 2 KOs),cruiserweight Dejon Farrell Francis (3-3, 1 KO) and super welterweight Eduardo “The Mexican Bully” Corona (1-0).

Francis and Corona are both coming off TKO victories this past Saturday night at Harrahs Philadelphia.

Thomas is fighting Otto Wallin this Friday at The Tropicana in Atlantic City.. Box and Francis are scheduled for November 22 at the Atlantic City at The Hard Rock

Darling has also led Dan Pasciolla and Hafiz Montgomery to regional championships previously.

John “The Eastern Beast” Brown was the very first pro to sign on back in 2006. Darling was also honored as NJ’s “Coach of the Year” in 2021 and is being inducted into the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame November 13.




Figueroa Stops Rios in 2 in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ–Justin Figueroa remained undefeated with a second round stoppage over Mario Gaston Rios in a middleweight bout at the Tropicana in Atlantic City.

In round two, Figueroa landed a quick right followed by a booming left that put Rios down and the fight was stopped at 2:24.

Figueroa of Atlantic City is now 12-0 with 10 knockouts. Rios of Argentina is 10-4-1.

Brian Arregui scored a mild upset as he won a 10-round split decision over Vlad Panin in a super welterweight contest.

Each fight won a scorecard by a 97-93 score and third card went to Arregui by a 99-91 tally.

Arregui of Argentina is now 11-5. Panin of Los Angeles is 21-2.

Bruce Seldon Jr. made quick work of Gabriel Costa being scoring an opening round stoppage in their heavyweight bout.

Seldon dropped Costa with a hard flurry in the opening seconds of the fight. Seldon then dropped Costa again with a perfect body shot and the fight was waved off at 53 seconds.

Seldon of Atlantic City is now 5-0 with four knockouts. Costa of Woburn, MA is 4-8-1.

Damian Tinnerello remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Jose Perdomo in a junior middleweight bout.

In round one, Tinnerrello dropped Perdomo with a right hand.

Tinnerello of Berlin, NJ won by scores of 40-35 and 39-36 twice and is now 5-0. Perdomo of Uruguay is 6-5.

Julio Sanchez III made a successful debut with a four-round decision over Douglas Leon Diggs in a junior welterweight bout.

Sanchez of Pleasantville, NJ won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37 and is now 1-0. Diggs of Washington, DC is 0-3,

Cali Box remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Victor Pradis in a light heavyweight bout.

Box dropped Pradis with a right hand in the opening round and cruised to the victory by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 5-0. Pradis of Covington, LA is 2-3-1.




Emmanuel Rodriguez Decisions Sharone Carter in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ–Emmanuel Rodriguez remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Sharone Carter that headlined a six-bout card at The Showboat Hotel Carousel Room.

Rodriguez of Newark, NJ won by scores of 78-74 twice and 77-75 and is now 13-0. Carter of Saint Louis, MO is 13-6.

Feargal McCrory remained undefeated with a 95 second knockout over Aeilo Mesquita in a scheduled eight-round lightweight bout.

McCrory dropped Mesquita with a right hand that sent him to the canvas for the 10-count.

McCrory of Northern Ireland is 13-0 with six knockouts. Mesquita of Brazil is 21-10-1.

Justin Figueroa remained undefeated by stopping Rahiem Davis Cooke at the end of round three of a scheduled four-round junior middleweight bout.

In round three, Figueroa dropped Cooke with a big combination that put Cooke on the canvas. Cooke’s corner stopped the fight after the round.

Figueroa of Atlantic City is 3-0 with three knockouts. Cooke of Philadelphia is 1-4.

Cali Box made a successful pro debut with a first-round stoppage over Davon Hall in a scheduled four-round cruiserweight bout.

Box hurt Hall several times with over hand rights during the round. Box landed a hard right that was followed by a left hook the ropes that forced a stoppage at 2:19.

Box, 184 1/2 lbs of Brick, NJ is 1-0 with one knockout. Hall 183.5 lbs of Wilmington, DE is 0-5.

In a spirited battle of pro debuting lightweights. Miguel Garcia won a four-round unanimous decision over Cristian Castro.

Garcia of Atlantic City won by scores 40-36 and 39-37 twice and is 1-0. Castro of Red Bank is 0-1.

John Vallejo remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Angelo Thompson in a junior middleweight bout.

In round three, Vallejo dropped Thompson with an overhand left.

Vallejo of Newark, NJ won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 2-0. Thompson of Irvington, NJ is now 0-6.
