Eric Priest Decisions Tyler Howard

Eric Priest remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Tyler Howard in a super middleweight fight at The Commerce Casino in Commerce, California.

Priest, 164.2 lbs of Kansas City won by scores of 100-90 on all cards and is now 15-0. Howard, 163.6 lbs of Crossville, TN is 20-3.

Jordan Panthen remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over DeAundre Pettus in a super middleweight contest.

In round one, Panthen was cut along the forehead from a clash of heads.

In round five, Panthen was cut on the left eyebrow from another accidental headbutt.

Panthen, 159 lbs of Honolulu, HI won by scores of 100-90, 98-92 and 97-93 and is now 11-0. Pettus, 161 lbs of Columbia, SC is 12-4.

Grant Flores stopped David Ramirez in round two of their six-round super welterweight bout.

In round two, Flores dropped Ramirez with an uppercut. Ramirez got to one knee but was counted out at 2:59.

Cayden Griffiths stopped Marc Misiura in round two of their four-round super welterweight bout.

In round two, Griffiths dropped Misiura with a perfect left to the body. Misiura got to his feet but was in no shape to continue and the bout at 1:10.

Griffiths, 148 lbs of Coachella, CA is now 3-0 with three knockouts. Misiura, 150 lbs of Scranton, PA is 3-7-1.

Jordan Fuentes won a four-round unanimous decision over Brandon Badillo in a super bantamweight fight.

At the end of round three, Fuentes dropped Badillo with a counter right on the chin.

Fuentes, 118.8 lbs of Fresno, CA won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 3-0. Badillo, 119.8 lbs of Charlotte, NC is now 0-3-1.

Leonardo Sanchez remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Joseph Cruz in a super featherweight bout.

In round five, Cruz began to bleed from the nose.

Sanchez, 130 lbs of Cathedral City, CA won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 8-0. Cruz, 130 lbs of Sonora, MEX is 10-12.




Manny Flores Stops Victor Olivo in 1st

Manny Flores thrilled his hometown crown with an opening round stoppage over Victor Olivo in a 10-round bantamweight fight at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California.

In round one, Flores landed a crushing left to the body that put Olivo down to a knee and he did not attempt to beat the 10-count t 1:50.

Flores, 119 lbs of Coachella, CA is 19-1 with 15 knockouts. Olivo, 117 3.4 lbs of Sonora, MEX is 21-5-1.

Tito Sanchez stopped Edwin Palomares in round eight of their 10-round featherweight bout.

In round eight, Sanchez landed a hard right to the side of the head that sent Palomares reeling which led to Sanchez landing a huge flurry pf punches that put Palomares down and the fight was stopped at 53 seconds.

Sanchez, 126 lbs of Coachella, CA is 14-0 with eight knockouts. Palomares, 126 lbs of Mexico City is 18-6-3.

“I feel really great,” said Tito Sanchez. “My performance wasn’t great in the earlier rounds because I wasn’t letting go yet, but once I threw my right hand, it connected, and that’s what we were waiting for, for that moment. Palomares wouldn’t stop throwing; he wouldn’t let me plant my feet, so I can could catch him with a right. His condition was excellent. He was on point today.”

Daniel Garcia remained undefeated with a second round stoppage over Jorge Villegas in a lightweight fight.

Garcia dropped Villegas with a body shot. Garcia dropped Villegas again in the round and Villegas took the 10 count at 2:15.

Cayden Griffiths stopped Markus Bowes in round three of their four-round junior welterweight bout.

Griffiths pounded away at Bowes and and heavy onslaught stopped the bout at 52 seconds.

Johnny Canas remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Pedro Cruz in a junior welterweight bout.

In round four, Cruz was cut from a punch of his left eye and a headbutt over his right eye.

Darius Fulghum Decisions Vaughn Alexander

Darius Fulghum remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Vaughn Alexander in a super middleweight bout that headlined at the Fantasy Springs Resort in Indio, California.

Fulghum landed 168 of 511 punches. Alexander was 78 of 244.

Fulghum, 167.8 lbs of Houston won by scores of 99-91 and 98-92 twice and is now 12-0. Alexander, 171.8 lbs of St. Louis is now 18-12-1.

“It was a great experience going the distance against Vaughn, anyone that knows him, knows he is a really tough guy,” said Darius Fulghum. “I hurt my hand during the fight so we were working with what we had and we are so happy we were able to secure the victory. Tristan Kalkreuth won a 10-round unanimous decision over Anthony Holloway in a cruiserweight bout.

Kalkreuth landed 114 of 334 punches. Holloway was 61 of 238.

Los Angeles, CA (September 1, 2023) Highly touted boxing prodigy Cayden Griffiths will make his highly anticipated professional debut on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The six-round super lightweight bout is promoted by Top Rank and will be streamed on ESPN+.

“I’m very excited to be making my professional debut,” said the 17-year-old Griffiths who is trained by Joel Diaz and Antonio Diaz in Indio, CA and managed by Vadim Kornilov and Alik Frolov.  “I’ve been working very hard leading up to this, sparring with some of the best fighters in the world.”

Among the recent sparring partners Griffiths has worked with include notable names; former world champion Murodjon ‘MJ’ Akhmadaliev, Brandon Figueroa, Batyr Akhmedov, Brandun Lee, Tito Acosta, Elnur Abduraimov, Hasanboy Dusmatov and Jesus Martinez.
