Bonner Knocks Out Trout in 2 To Win BKFC Lightweight Title

PHILADELPHIA– Benjamin Bonner scored an explosive one-punch knockout over former world boxing champion Austin Troutto win the BKFC Lightweight title at the Xfinity Mobile Arene

Early in round one, Bonner landed a right that put Trout on the canvas. Seconds into round two, Bonner landed a lunging long right hand that hit Trout right in the face and knocked him flat on his back and he could not beat the count at 30 seconds.

Bonner of Middlesbrough, England is 6-2 with four knockouts. Trout of Houston is 5-1.

Britain Hart Decisions Shell To Retain BKFC Strawweight Title

Britain Hart made the fifth defense of the BKFC Straweight championship with a split decision over Sarah Shell.

Scores were 48-47 for Hart twice and 48-47 Shel.

Hart of Bedford, VA is 11-3. Shell of Phoenix is 3-1.

Shell started to bleed from her nose as early as round two.

John Garbarino coasted to a unanimous decision over former BKFC Middleweight champion Mike Richman.

Garbarino of Philadelphia won by scores of 50-44 twice and 48-46 and is now 5-0. Richman of Fort Worth, TX is 8-4.

In round two, Garbarino landed a short jab that forced Richman to stumble to the canvas for a knockdown.

Cody Russell won a unanimous decision over Jake Bostwick in a middleweight fight that went to extra (sixth) round,

Russell of Philadelphia is 3-0. Bostwick of Coconut Creek, FL is 5-3-1.

After a flurry from Russell, Bostwick scored a knockdown with a counter right.

Zedekiah Montanez stopped Matthew Maestas in the opening round of their lightweight bout.

Montanez dropped Maestas with a leaping left hook to t the head that put him down on his back and began to bleed around the right. The fight was stopped with Maestas on his back at 1:39.

Montanez of Philadelphia is 2-1 with two knockouts. Maestas of Denver is 2-4.

Matthew Turnbull stopped Brandon Hovsnick in the opening round of their super featherweight bout.

Turnbull was credited with an eight-count after landing about 20 punches on a crouching Honsvick. Turnbull scored a knockdown after landing some hard shots that put Hovsnick down. After another flurry, that fight was stopped at 1:49.

Turnbull of Philadelphia is 1-0 with one knockout. Hovsnick of Utah is 1-4.

Lex Ludlow needed just nine seconds to destroy Drew Nolan in their cruiserweight bout.

Ludlow jumped on Nolan and unloaded a vicious flurry that dropped Nolan face first and the fight was stopped.

Ludlow of Levittown, PA is 4-0 with two knockouts. Nolan of Scnactady, NY is 1-4,

Pat Sullivan stopped Ruben Arroyo in the first round of their super lightweight bout.

In round one, Sullivan was all over Arroyo and sent him down with a right. Arroyo was bleeding from the right ear and the fight was stopped at 1:33.

Sullivan of Philadelphia is 2-2. Arroyo of Westminster, CO is 0-5.

Nicolas Willey won a split decision over Eric Westbury in a lightweight heavyweight bout.

Willey of Middletown, DE won two cards 30-27 and 29-28 while Westbury took a card 29-28.

Willey is 1-0. Westbury of Alexandria, VA is 0-2.

Malon Griffin dropped Billy Griffin five times en-round to a third round stoppage in a welterweight bout.

In round one, Griffin dropped Graves with a left hook. Later in the round, Griffin landed a hard jab to the chin that put Graces down. In round two, Griffin landed a hard right to the head that put Graves down. Seconds later, another brutal right put Graves on his back. In round three, a combination put Graves down and the fight was stopped at 1:02.

Griffin of Philadelphia is 1-0 with one knockout. Graves of Abeline, TX is 0-1.




Arlovski Stops Rothwell in 3 on Cuts; Wins BKFC Heavyweight title

PHILADELPHIA Andrei Arlovski won the BKFC Heavyweight titke when Ben Rothwell was deemed unable to continue in round three in front of over 18,000 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.

In round two Rothwell began to bleed badlly under his left eye. The eye worsened in round three and the fight was halted.

Lorenzo Hunt retained the Light Heavyweight title with a one-punch destruction of David Mundell in thr fourth round.

In round four, Hunt landed a devastating right that put Mundell down and out.

Hunt, 199 lbs of Saint ugustine, FL is 13-2 with 11 knockouts. Mundell, 196.2 ;bs of Port Richey, FL is 10-2.

Local favorite John Garbarino stopped Kaine Tomlinson the fifth riound.

In round two, Garbarino was credited with a knockdown after landing a right on the inside. Garbarino scored a second knockdown from a left on th inside. Just before the bell sounded, Harbarino chased and connected with a left that put Tomlinson down for a third time inthe round. In round three, Tomlinson kept flopping to the canvas. Garbarino was credited with a knockdown as he snuck in a little right and Tomlinson fell to the canvas. Early in round four, Garbarino landed a left that put Tomlinson on the canvas. Garbarino mercifully ended the bout in round five when he landed a big right hand that pit Tomlinson down and the fight was stopped at 49 seconds.

Benjamin Bonner won a unanimous over Antonio Soto III

In round three, Soto began to bleed from the nose.

Bonner, 155 lbs of Yorkshire, ENG won by scores of 49-46 and 48-47 twice and is now 5-2. Soto, 157.8 lbs of Hickory, NC is 6-3.

Patrick Brady won a unanimous decision over Shelby Hill in a battle of undefeated heavyweights.

In round two, Brady scored a knockdown when he landed a right hand to the head in an exchange. Brady scored another knockdown in round three when he dumped Hill with another right. In round four, Hill bloodied the nose of Brady after he landed a series of haymaker right hands. That was to his detriment as he punched himself out and went down again for another knockdown.

Brady, 244 lbs of Sewell, NJ won by scores of 50-42, 50-41 and 49-43 and is now 3-0. Hill, 266.4 lbs of Ardmore, ARK is 2-1.

Because of the non-stop action, BKFC President David Feldman doubled each fighters purse. Brady donated his whole purse and retired in the ring.

Jade Hassan Wong defeated Crystal Pittman for the second time in four-years. This time it was via unanimous decision.

In round three, Pittman started to bleed around the left eye.

Hasan Wong, 129.8 lbs of Quevec City won by scores of 50-45 on all cards and is now 4-2. Pittman, 128 lbs of Tampa is 3-4.

Mike Richman won a majority decision over Joseph Elmore

In round two, Ruchman dropped Elmore with a straight left to the bod.

Richman of Fort Worth, Texas won by scores of 49-45, 48-46 and 4 and is now 8-3. Elmore 175.8 lbs of Athens, GA is 2-5.

Charles Bennett stopped Patrick Sullivan in round two.

In round one, Bennett dropped a charging Sullivan with a counter right. In round two, Bennett landed another counter that knocked Sullivan over the ropes. He got to his feet, but the fight was waved off at 1:56.

Bennett of Pensacola, FL is 1-3, Sullivan of Philadelphia is 1-2.

Cody Russell stopped Harrison AIken in the second round.

Ruseel dropped Aiken in the second round and he deemed unable to continue at 1:16

Zedejiah Montanez stopped Brandon Meyer in the second round.

Towards the end of round one, Montanez laned a perfect 1-2 that put Meyer on the deck. In round two, Montanez landex six unanswered blows which included four body shots for a second knockdown, Montanez ended things when he landed a right uppercut on the ropes for another knockdown and the fight was stopped at 1:59

Montanez, 156.8 lbs of Philadelphia is 1-1 with one knockout. Meyer, 155.4 lbs of Omaha, NE is 3-4.

Lex Ludlow won a three round unanimous decision over Zachary Calmus.

Ludlow scored a knockdown in the opening round.

Ludlow, 204 1/2 lbs of Levittown, PA won by scores of 30-26 on all cards and is now 3-0. Calmus, 202 lbs of Gloucester, MA is 5-5.

In a battle of debuters, Christian Payne won a unanimous decision over Brett Schoenfeld.

In round three Payne dropped Schoenfeld with a right to the jaw. Payne sealed the fight with a vicious right to the head that put Schoenfeld spawling on his back.

Payne, 171 lbs of Camden NJ won on all cards 30-25 and is 1-0. Schoenfeld, 176.6 lbs of Holiday, PA is 0-1.

Joshua Oxendine won a three round unanimous decision over Travis Thompson.

Oxendine, 137 lbs of Monroe, NC won by scores of 30-27 on all cards and is now 4-3. Thompson, 136 lbs of Pottstown, PA id 6-8.
