MIZUKI HIRUTA STAKES CLAIM TO FEMALE FIGHTER OF THE YEAR WITH FOURTH 2025 WORLD TITLE DEFENSE!

Long Beach, CA (November 22, 2025) Japanese Female Boxing Superstar, Mizuki ‘MIMI’ Hiruta, (10-0, 2KOs), staked her claim to the 2025 Female Fighter of the Year with a dominant ten round decision defending her Ring and WBO Super Flyweight World Titles against #2 Ranked Gloria ‘Depredadora’ Gallardo, (16-4-3, 7 KOs), on Saturday, November 22 at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA.

Hiruta vs. Gallardo headlined another stellar Hollywood Fight Nights event promoted by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS®the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

The victory by unanimous scores of 100-90 for Hiruta took place in her sixth world title defense and fourth world title defense of 2025.

She is the most active female champion with four world title defenses this year and put a stamp on why she’s the best female super flyweight in the world.” Hiruta entered the battle as the #1 Ranked Super Flyweight by ESPN.

Hiruta established an excellent defensive manner early in the fight, counter punching the aggressive Gallardo. In the second half of the fight Hiruta’s punches started to take their toll on her tough Mexican challenger, bloodying her nose in the seventh.

Keeping her foot on the gas in the final two rounds, the colorful and charismatic Hiruta, who had entered the ring in one of her trademark robes, would stay consistent with her attack as her large legion of supporters stood and cheered.

Also featured on the Hollywood Fight Nights event, 21-year-old Lupita ‘The Baby-Faced Assassin, Medina (12-0, 3 KOs), moved closer to a world title opportunity in the junior flyweight division with a scorching second round (1:14) knockout of Lillian Almarez (2-5). Fighting in a rematch from January 2024 that went the distance, Medina dropped Almarez with a stunning right hand and continued her attack until referee Thomas Taylor called a halt to the fight.

Returning to the Hollywood Fight Night’s ring, ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzco, sporting a sparkling Los Angeles Dodger themed outfit, improved to 7-0, 1 KO, with an eight-round unanimous decision over the much more experienced Maria Salinas (27-14-6, 7 KOs. Scores were 80-72 twice and 79-73 as Verduzco displayed her array of world class skills throughout in her remarkably sixth fight of 2025.

Popular junior lightweight Abel Mejia, (10-0, 7 KOs), continued to impress with a third round (1:33) knockout of Jason Buenaobra, (10-13-3, 4 KOs). A barrage of punches in the third round from the heavy-handed Mejia called a halt to the contest.

Junior lightweights saw action as Diego Dominguez, (4-1, 1 KOs) and Abraham Morales, (3-1, 2 KOs), battled in an entertaining four rounder. Dominguez was declared the victor by majority decision, (38-38, 39-37, twice.)

Lightweight Alejandro Alvarado, (3-0, 1 KO), took a four round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Billy Timmons, (3-1, 1 KO. Shutout scores were 40-36 on all three judges’ scorecards.

Cruiserweight Jamar Talley, (5-0, 4 KOs), stopped Adam Diu Abdulhamid, (18-18, 9 KOs), in the second round (2:08). Talley dropped Abdulhamid twice in the second round.

The colorful and charismatic Mizuki Hiruta kicked off her 2025 campaign with an eighth-round stoppage of Maribel Ramirez on January 17 in Los Angeles accompanied by her growing legion of supporters and preceded by her renowned show-stopping ring walks. Following up on May 17, the southpaw demonstrated all of her world class skills and toughness in a dominant ten-round unanimous decision over Carla Merino. Most recently, the 29-year-old  won a shutout ten-round unanimous decision over Naomy Cardenas Gomez on August 15.

The 30-year-old Gallardo, with only one loss since 2019, challenges for her first world title following a first-round knockout of Maria de Lourdes Garcia on March 15, 2015. Although world traveled, this will be her first fight in the United States.

Returning to the Hollywood Fight Night’s ring in an eight-round featherweight bout, ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzco, (6-0, 1 KO), of Los Angeles, CA looks to cap off 2025 with her fifth victory of the year.

Also featured at Hollywood Fights Nights is a ten-round junior middleweight battle between undefeated Kazakh contender Sadriddin Akhmedov, (15-0-1, 13 KOs), and Mexican knockout machine Edgardo ‘Zurdo’ Velasquez, (16-2, 16 KOs), of Tijuana, Mexico.
