In a 12-round heavyweight slugfest, Arslanbek Makhmudov won a 12-round unanimous decision over Dave Allen in Sheffield, England.

In round seven, Makhmudov was deducted a point holding. In round 12, Makhmudov was hit with the same infraction.

Makhmudov, 261.1 lbs of Montreal won by scores of 117-109, 116-110 and 115-111 and is now 21-2. Allen, 259.1 lbs of Dorncaster, ENG 24-8-2.

Filwaz Decisions Bostan in Rematch

Bilal Filwaz won a 10-round majority decision over Junaid Bostan in a rematch of super welterweights.

In round two, Bostan was cut over the right eye.

Filwaz won by scores of 96-94, 96-95 and 95-95.

Filwaz, 153.6 lbs of West London is 10-1-1. Bostan, 153.8 lbs of Rotherham, ENG is 10-1-1.

The fight was a rematch of a January contest that ended in a draw.

Padley Decisions Bellotti

Josh Padley won a 10-round unanimous decision over Reece Bellotti in a super featherweight bout.

Padley, 129.6 lbs of Yorkshire, ENG won by scores of 99-92 (Too wide) and 97-93 twice and is now 17-1. Bellotti, 129.9 lbs of Watford, ENG is 20-7.

Uddin Stops Roberts in 5

Hamza Uddin stopped Paul Roberts in round five of their flyweight bout.

In round five, Uddin dropped Roberts with a body shot. Roberts never recovered as he dropped two more times and the fight was stopped at 2:14.

Uddin, 111.2 lbs of Walsall, ENG is 6-0 with three knockouts. Roberts, 111.2 lbs of Chard, ENG is 7-7-2.

Ibraheem Sulaimaan won an eight-round decision over James Chereji in a super featherweight fight.

Sulaimaan, 132.2 lbs of Birmingham, ENG won by an 80-72 score and is now 9-0. Chereji, 131.8 lbs of Romania is 22-7.

Connor Tudsbury stopped Khalid Graidia in round four of their six-round light heavyweight bout.

Tudsbury dominated the action and in round four, Tudsbury landed two crushing right to the body that hurt Graidia badly and the fight was stopped at 58 seconds.

Tudsbury, 180.7 lbs of Manchester, ENG is 3-0 with two knockouts. Graidia, 177.2 lbs of Luxemburg is 13-16-5.

Joe Hayden won a six-round decision over Angelo Dragone in a six-round welterweight bout.

Joe Howarth won a six-round decision over Karl Sampson in a lightweight bout.

Howarth, 139.6 lbs of of England won by a 60-54 score and is now 14-1. Sampson, 141.2 lbs of Sheffield, ENG is 9-60-1.

Dalton Smith remained undefeated with an opening round stoppage of Walid Ouizza in a scheduled 12-round super lightweight bout in Nottingham, ENG.

Smith floored Ouizaza when he landed a big flurry that was culminated by a right to the side of the head. Ouizza never fully recovered and Smith landed a hard right that put Ouizza down again and the fight was stopped at 3:00.

Smith, 140 lbs of Sheffield, ENG is 17-0 with 13 knockouts. Ouizza, 139.4 lbs of Saint-Quen, FRA is 19-3.

Conah Walker Scores Improbable 11th Round Stoppage over Scarff

Conah Walker scored a miraculous come from behind 11th round stoppage over Harry Scarff in a 12-round welterweight bout.

After being way behind in the cards, Round 11 saw Walker landed a big right hand that dropped Scarff. Scarff was badly hurt and a barrage of punches until the bout was stopped at 1:23.

Walker, 146.7 lbs of Wolverhampton, ENG is 15-3-1 with six knockouts. Scarff, 146.3 lbs of Derby, ENG is 13-4.

Scotney Defends Super Bantamweight Titles W/Decision over Motu

Ellie Scotney defended the IBF/WBO Super Bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Mea Motu.

In round one, Scotney was cut over the left eye from an accidental headbutt.

Scotney, 121.7 lbs f Vatford, ENG won by scores of 99-91 on all cards and is now 10-0. Motu, 121.1 lbs of Auckland, NZ is 20-1.

Sulaimaan Decisions Arce

Ibraheem Sulaimaan won an eight-round decision over Reuquen Facundo Arce in a super featherweight bout.

Sulaimaan, 132.3 lbs of Birmingham, ENG won by a score 80-72 and is now 7-0. Arce, 131 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 18-18-2.

Hamza Uddin won an eight-round decision over Misael Ezequiel Graffioli in a flyweight contest.

Uddin, 133.3 lbs of Walsall, ENG won by an 80-72 score and is now 4-0. Graffioli, 113.1 lbs of Canada de Gomez, ARG is 5-4.

Traie Duberry barely held on to win a six-round decision over Camilo Castagno in a cruiserweight bout.

In round two, Duberry landed a hard right hand that rocked Castagno in the corner and Castagno was dropped after another right hand.

In round five, Duberry landed another right hand that forced Castagno to take a knee. Late in round six, Castagno landed a brutal overhand left that planted Duberry on his behind. Unfortunately for Castagno, that punch landed just before the bell rang.

Hamza Uddin says the power of his local community will help push him on to fulfil his dream of becoming boxing’s first-ever British-Bangladeshi World Champion.

The 20-year-old underlined his promise as a ’star to watch’ when he sensationally stopped Santiago San Eusebio on his victorious professional debut in Liverpool back in April.

Now the exciting Flyweight prospect is planning another highlight reel knockout when he fights in front of a legion of home supporters just a stone’s throw from his hometown of Walsall this weekend.

Uddin, in his second pro fight, takes on Jose Maria Hernandez at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena this Saturday June 22 on a stacked card headlined by Tyler Denny vs. Felix Cash for the European Middleweight Championship. 

The former Team GB fighter is an eight-time National Champion with seven international golds and three GB titles – but opted to turn professional instead of pursuing Olympic glory at this summer’s Paris Games. And he wants to show the world why the pro game is right for him.

Ahead of his upcoming bout in Birmingham, Uddin put on a clinic at the Fearless Boxing Academy in Walsall in front of a large group of aspiring amateur boxers before moving on to his local mosque where he delivered a presentation to attendees to reveal all about his incredible journey from grassroots to elite, first with Team GB and now Matchroom.

“It’s an absolute honour to have the Walsall community and the British-Bangladeshi community behind me for this fight,” said Uddin. “It truly is special how much these communities have supported me. Not just during my professional journey but ever since I started boxing, which is going back some 15 years. 

“For me, to have this much support and for so long, it is fantastic. It is one of my main motivating forces to become the first-ever British-Bangladeshi World Champion. 

“The support I have received is second to none. So many of the people who were here today will also be at my fight on June 22. I can’t wait to achieve my dreams and aspirations, not only for myself but for those who continue to be by my side and have believed in me since the beginning.

“I am dreaming of one day becoming a multi-weight World Champion. I want to do it for my father, all the local community and everyone who has back me since day one and believes that I will fulfil my aspirations. Their support will carry me through and provide the extra push I need to be successful.”

An excited Uddin added that he cannot wait to fight in front of hundreds of his Midlands faithful this Saturday – live worldwide on DAZN.

“My next fight is as close to a homecoming that I can get,” he said. “I haven’t boxed in the Midlands or anywhere near it in a very long time due to be away at various international tournaments as an amateur. 

“But now, as a professional, I finally get the chance to show everyone here my skills and what I can do. I can’t wait. It’s a great show but I can promise you now, I will be the star performer on the night. Inshallah I know that for sure. 

“The way I box attracts eyeballs. I know I have already attracted a big local following but after June 22 that will get even bigger.”

As he plans to put on another memorable performance in front of his supporters at Resorts World Arena, Uddin believes it is vital to continue to be a positive role model for his community where he hopes to pave the way for the next generation and inspire its future stars – especially in Walsall. 

“Big shoutout to Matchroom – they’ve got such a strong foothold in this country and globally. But they’re going above and beyond to put in the hard work outside the ring with local communities and helping shine a light on the good work that goes on.

‘Future World Champion’ Hamza Uddin has vowed to wow the boxing world once again as he prepares for a homecoming fight in Birmingham on June 22, live on DAZN. The bright, British Super-Flyweight prospect produced a dazzling debut performance on Matchroom’s NXT GEN show in Liverpool last weekend when he dispatched France’s Santiago San Eusebio with a devastating third-round stoppage. Hamza ’Thriller’ Uddin is the latest bright British boxing prospect to sign with Matchroom – and the rising Flyweight sensation already has his sights set on becoming a future World Champion.

The former Team GB fighter is an eight-time National champion, with seven International golds and three GB titles to his C.V following a decorated amateur career.

The 20-year-old, who is trained by Raj Uddin and managed by Sam Jones, is also the youngest-ever two-time senior elite champion and an undefeated senior. Having conquered the amateur scene, Uddin’s signature to turn professional has been highly sought after. 

And having put pen to paper to make his debut in 2024 – live worldwide on DAZN – a confident and charismatic Uddin has immediately set himself the target of being a “legend” of the sport.

“I’m excited to use all of the experience I have gained to win more titles as a professional,” said Uddin. “Matchroom are the biggest boxing promoters in the world. For my dreams and aspirations, only Matchroom could cut it for me. Nobody else. Matchroom are the best in the world.
