SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (July 9, 2026) – Undefeated American heavyweight Pryce Taylor faced off with Mexican challenger Issac Muñoz at the final press conference on Thursday in advance of Saturday’s debut Wynn Records Network event from Puerto Rico. 

The five-fight card will stream live at 8 p.m. ET on https://watch.wynnrecordsnetwork.com/ and will also feature the return of undefeated Puerto Rican women’s boxing sensation Kiria Tapia.

Puerto Rican boxing greats Ivan Calderon and Juan Manuel Lopez were in attendance at Colegio Universitario de San Juan on Thursday, along with Hall of Famer Shane Mosley, who was there to support local undercard fighter Yaziel Ortiz. 

The Universal Promotions and Salita Promotions event from Coliseíto Pedrín Zorrilla in San Juan is promoted in association with Wynn Records.  The debut event on the new streaming service will feature three women’s boxing bouts as the entities continue their commitment to leadership in women’s boxing. 

In Saturday’s co-featured bout, Edith Soledad Matthysse will defend her Women’s WBA Interim Super Lightweight Title against undefeated challenger Litzy Vazquez. 

Also featured on the card is a WBA International Women’s Bantamweight bout between undefeated contender Johanna Wonyou and Tania Walters.  In the opening bout, 22-year-old undefeated super featherweight prospect and Puerto Rican favorite William Colon will take on veteran Jeremy Triana.

NEW YORK CITY (July 7, 2026) – Now ranked among the top 10 heavyweights in America, undefeated Brooklyn heavyweight prospect Pryce Taylor (12-0, 8 KOs) returns to the ring this Saturday in Puerto Rico for his second scheduled 10-round match, in his career-first main event, against Issac Munoz Gutierrez (18-2-1, 15 KOs).

All the action will be streamed live on Wynn Records Network, starting at 8 p.m. ET, from Coliseo Pedrin Zorilla in San Juan.

Taylor’s last fight was his first 10-rounder; however, he stopped Calvin Barrett (7-4) in the second round of their fight in Atlanta.

‘I’m definitely a 10-round fighter,” Taylor said. “I’m a 12-round fighter, too, it just hasn’t happened yet.”

A former college basketball, the 6’ 4”, 275-pound Taylor will face arguably the toughest opponent of his young professional career in the 6’ 2”, 250-pound Gutierrez, the veteran Mexican fighter known as “Drago.” Munoz’ two losses have been to 2020 USA Olympian and Olympic silver medalist, Richard Torrez Jr. (11-0), in Munoz’ last fight on December 7, 2024, which Torrez ended in round three with a knockout. Munoz’ other loss was to Jermaine Franklin, Jr. (21-2), in 2023 by way of a 10-round unanimous decision. Franklin Jr., who upset 15-0 Ivan Dychko 2 years ago, has also fought former world champion  Anthony Joshua, Moses Itauma and Dylan White.

Taylor has been active under his manager, Keith Sulivan, fighting for the 13^th time in less than 3 years, the last 8 under Salita Promotions.

The 29-year-old Taylor is expanding his brand. This will mark his second fight in Puerto Rico having fought there in his seventh pro fight, knocking out Trevor Kotara (4-3-1) in the opening round. Taylor has also fought in Atlanta, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, New York thrice and Michigan 5 times, 3 in Detroit and 2 in Flint.

“The boxing world is the same,” Taylor offered, “only differently named countries. Puerto Ricans love heavyweights and they really loved my first-round stoppage there. I’m very entertaining and know when to dance.”

A former New York State Athletic Commission Deputy Commissioner, Sullivan also manages undefeated 3-time, 2-division World Champion Miyo Yoshida (19-5, 1 KO), Bronx NYPD officer Nisa Rodriguez (4-1, 2 KOs), Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga (21-1, 21 KOs), lightweight Fei Faiva (6-0-1, 4 KOs) and junior featherweight prospect Brooklyn “The Big Deal” Barwick (5-1, 5 KOs). Alycia Baumgardner avenged her only professional blemish and retained the Undisputed Super Featherweight Title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Christina Linardatou at The Masonic Temple in Detroit.

It was a fight that had solid action as Baumgardner landed some hard shots. Linardatou tried to punch with Baumgardner, but the reigning champion was faster and landed the more impactful blows.

Baumgardner, 129.4 lbs of Detroit won by scores of 99-91 and 98-92 twice and is now 15-1. Linardatou, 129.8 lbs of Athens, GRE is 14-3.

Andy Cruz Decisions Former World Title Challenger Burgos in Pro Debut

Andy Cruz made a successful pro debut with a 10-rond unanimous decision over former three-time world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos in a lightweight bout.

Cruz, 134.6 lbs of Matanzas, CUB won by scores of 100-90 twice and 98-92 and is 1-0. Burgos, 134.2 lbs of Tijuana, MEX is 35-8-3,

Jermaine Franklin Decisions Isaac Munoz

Jermaine Franklin won a 10-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Isaac Munoz in a heavyweight bout.

Franklin, 241.2 lbs of Saginaw, MI won by scores of 100-90 twice and is 99-91 and is now 22-2. Munoz, 257.4 lbs of Mexico City is 17-1-1.

Jar’Rico O’Quinn Decisions Carlos Mujica

Ja’Rico O’Quinn won a 10-round unanimous decision over Carlos Mujica in a super-bantamweight contest.

In round five, Mujica was cut around his left eye.

It was a close fight yet a judge did not think so by giving O’Quinn a 100-90 victory. Two other judges saw the fight 97-93 and 96-94.

O’Quinn of Detroit is 16-1-1. Mujica, 122.6 lbs of Caracas, VEN is 8-3.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (APRIL 7, 2021)–Memorial Day weekend promises to start out with a bang, as junior welterweight Michael Dutchover will look to thrill his Lone Star State fans when he takes on Ivan Leon Benitez in the headlining 10-round bout of what will be an explosive night of boxing on Friday, May 28th at Reed Arena on the campus of Texas A&M University and LIVE and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS®., the world’s leading streaming service for combat sports. The card will begin at 7 PM ET / 6 PM CT /4 PM PT.

The show is presented by Reed Arena and Texas A&M University and promoted by Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing.

Dutchover, of Midland, Texas, has a record of 14-1 with 10 knockouts. The 23- year-old turned professional five years ago.

Dutchover, known as the “West Texas Warrior,” has wins over Miguel Cariozza (10-1); Ricardo Lopez (7-1-2); Bergman Aguilar (14-3-1); Rosekie Cristobal (15-3), and his last bout when he won an eight-round unanimous decision over Jorge Marron (18-1) on July 26th in Orange, California.

Dutchover is promoted by Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing.

“In December I was supposed to fight, but I had an injury, and things happen for a reason. I am back in California training and am excited to get back in the ring. There is no place that I would rather fight than in Texas. I will have fans there from Midland and all over the state. This is my fifth year as a professional, and this is the year that I become a contender,” said Dutchover.

Benitez, of Cancun, Mexico, has a record of 14-4-1 with 6 knockouts.

Just 20 years old, Benitez is already a six-year professional. He has wins over two undefeated opponents and is coming off a draw with undefeated Francisco Javier Lopez Corrales (12-0) on December 8th in Mexico.

“I will have a difficult task ahead of me in fighting Dutchover, but May 28th will be my day. I will be prepared to give the fans a great show and to beat my opponent. This is what I work for everyday, and he will not derail my dreams of becoming a future champion,” said Benitez.

Seeing action in the 10-round co-feature will be heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez.

Gutierrez of Mexicali, Mexico is undefeated with a record of 12-0-1 with 10 knockouts.

The 29-year-old Gutierrez, who will be making his United States debut, was a former amateur star in Mexico and competed in the World Series of Boxing.

Gutierrez has stopped his last six opponents and is coming off a first-round stoppage of 35-fight veteran Jesus Alberto Torres Martinez on September 7, 2019 Naucalpan, Mexico.

Seeing action in an 8-round bout will be undefeated lightweight, Miguel Madueno.

Madueno, 22-years-old from Orange, California, has an impressive record of 22-0 with 20 knockouts.

Madueno is a four-year professional who has shot up the prospect rankings with wins over Cristian Flores (7-1-2); Jesus Rendon (13-1-1); former world-title challenger Cosme Rivera; and his last bout when Madueno stopped Jesus Quintero Velarde in two rounds on December 18th in Sonora, Mexico.

Opening up the broadcast will see Jamshidbek Najmitdinov take part in an 8-round junior welterweight fight.

Najmitdinov, of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has a record of 16-1 with 13 knockouts.

Najmitdinov is an eight-year professional who will be making his American debut.

Najmitdinov has been in several all-action fights, with a style that will appeal to the American audience. The only blemish on his record was a very disputed decision loss to former world champion Viktor Postol. That bout saw Najmitdinov go into the home country of Postol in the Ukraine, and Jamshidbek dropped Postol on two occasions and rocked him several other times during the fight, yet fell short on the judges’ scorecards.

Najmitdinov is coming off a first-round stoppage over Giorgi Khutsishvili on October 6, 2019 to win the WBC CIS Title.

Philadelphia, Pa. – February 11, 2020 – Banner Promotions has signed undefeated heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez to a co-promotional deal with United Promotions.

Gutierrez, 27 years-old of Torreon Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico has a record of 12-0-1 with 10 knockouts.

“We are happy to bring Isaac to Banner Promotions. He is a very good prospect that was brought to my attention by Don MacDonald of United Promotions. I have seen him and he has good power. I feel that he will make waves in the heavyweight division,” said Banner Promotions President Artie Pelullo.

“I feel very happy to sign with Banner Promotions. Being with a big company will be great for my career. With Banner and United Promotions, I feel my career can go to big heights, and I am grateful for that,” Said Gutierrez.

“I have known Artie Pelullo for 25 years, and I know what he can do. I feel Artie and Banner Promotions is the promoter that will make the inroads for Isaac in the heavyweight division,” said Don MacDonald of United Promotions.

Gutierrez was 220-20 as an amateur, and was a multi-time Mexican National champion, and was part of the Mexican National boxing team for two years. Gutierrez competed in the World Series of Boxing.

Gutierrez turned professional on September 9, 2011 with a 1st round stoppage over Misael Jossy Chavez. Gutierrez has established himself as a power puncher, and is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Jesus Alberto Martinez Torres on September 7th.
